The sound of cracking bones vibrated the air, yet there was no sort of pain following this. Instead, there was a quiet hum followed by more cracking sounds. After a few minutes, Salem stood upwards and sighed cracking his knuckles slightly as he did so. Well that had been a nice stretch. Looking towards the yoga instructor who simply nodded at him, Salem nodded back. "Ah thank you for that; I needed a stretch out, good luck with your work by the way," the man smiled before putting a hand to his chest and bowing slightly causing a slight blush to come to the face of the yoga instructor that was quickly wiped away as she said something along the lines of 'no problem Mr. Smith'.

Turning away, Salem began to walk away. In truth, he wasn't there to be enjoying himself at all, and as he walked away, that smile that had been on his face slowly vanished. He would have rather been home with Brina to be honest, but rebel work kept him away. There was information to be passed around, and he was the one who had been asked to do such. Thus, he had headed north and done it. Thankfully, he had been able to find someone to watch after his Brina for a few days, their neighbor as it were whom happened to have a boy around Brina's age. However, not having his daughter with him regardless of knowing that she was safe and fine was something Salem disliked.

Pulling out a phone, Salem pressed a button and set t the phone to his ear. "Hello, would you mind putting Brina on the phone?...........hello dearest, how are you?" Soft words were exchanged before the white haired man finally nodded to himself, flipped the phone forwards and closed it again. He felt a bit better now, at least. Closing his eyes, Salem sighed before opening said eyes. There wasn't much of a chance for him to get home today. It was far too late for that, and he had no fast pokemon...

Maybe....he'd just walk for a bit, as lazy as that sounded, of course. Laughing slightly to himself, he started to walk off towards one of the smaller spring pools.

Salem walked rather straight backed with his hands in his pockets and his head looking around only a time or two at each five-step interval. He really wasn't aiming for much, which was odd for him, but his sight and mild were taking in all the information there was about the area at hand. The Spheal weren't of any interest to him, really. For one thing, they were normal colored, and for another, they weren't exactly the most petable creatures on earth. Sure they could probably show some sort of entertainment maybe by the use of balancing a ball on their noses or something of the like, but that was it. No thank you~

Stopping in mid step as his eyes caught sight of the sparkling pink Sneasel, Salem readjusted his stance and stepped back a moment. Well now, a shiny was it? It certainly did look different from the rest and wasn't black or white so... he was left to assume, heh. He was fond of alternate color pokemon, but the pink wasn't generally his style of color. Then again, he was sure his dearest Brina would adore something as pink as that... though then again, it had claws that could probably shred her at a moment's notice.... No.

Chuckling to himself for a brief moment, Salem turned his head away and simply continued to walk once more. Indeed, this man was highly specific when it came to pokemon.

He continued to walk along and stopped to watch a few of the pokemon as they moved. The only pokemon that was mildly interesting was--- Wha-..... Did he just.... force/palm a snowman? Blinking and staring, Salem slowly turned his head to one side and sweat dropped. Well... Mienfoo were interesting creatures, and their evolved forms were gorgeous, among other things... Slowly changing the course of his walking, the white haired man headed towards the Mienfoo. "Hm... having fun there?" he asked in his normally calm, clear, and collected voice.

Well now this cute little pokemon was rather interesting. Salem had to admit it. Bringing a finger to his chin and looking carefully at the Mienfoo's snow skills, Salem leaned forwards a little. "Craning or something, I take it?" he asked calmly looking over the general cycle of destruction and rebuilding. He wasn't really a fan of training, but it was certainly beneficial to the strength of his pokemon... which... eh ... was sometimes good though most of his were pets anyways. "You should really try some pokemon to pokemon battling if you really want to be stronger," he suggested after a moment.

Eh? Well the refusal was somewhat unexpected, but that possibly meant the Mienfoo was more docile than previously anticipated which was arguably a good thing. After a moment, Salem slowly bent down and picked up some snow and set up a bit of his own snowman. Ah... he really wished Brina were here.. she would have loved the snow. His face and features remained light even as the white haired man continued to think over whether or not he actually wanted the Mienfoo or not. Well.. it wasn't differently colored, but it did seem rather docile.... hm... Well.. he'd just see. "What do you think?" was the question posed as Salem gestured to his own rather sloppy snowman.

Salem didn't speak pokemon, but he got a bit of the understanding of what was being said by the body language. Heh, he was telling him how to build a better snowman? What a silly little pokemon.... Yet at the same time, it was rather amusing to say the least. "Tell me, do you build other things?" he asked as though he were more or less continuing the conversation despite the fact that he was actually rather curious at the moment. Maybe with a bit of diplomacy, this Mienfoo would come quietly, heh...

Given the positive note of sorts, Salem nodded his head slowly more or less interpreting it as best he could. Ah, what he wouldn't give to know what pokemon said at times.... Then again, Midnight could speak English which was somewhat unnerving at times. "I see... thank you," he perked up lightly at the motions of the Mienfoo. "I can't say I can build many things, sadly.... though I do know how to rn them." He chuckled slightly to himself thinking that over.

For a bit, Salem watched the Mienfoo work, and after that bit was over, he put his hands in his pockets, stood up, and shivered slightly. His skinny form was actually very used to the cold having grown up in the north, but it was still cold, especially now in the winter of all seasons. "You could probably do something very special with clay or maybe some Model Magic," he chuckled lightly to himself bringing up a fist and smiling slightly. "My Brina uses a lot of the latter... when she wants to anyways..." he sighed a little but smiled none the less.

Salem blinked and turned his head to one side and then the other. "It's like... something you can meld with your hands and shape it to anything your heart desires," he answered back rather fluidly after that brief moment of hesitation. "I don't have any with me at the moment, sadly. Too bad, really... I'd almost say it was more fun than using snow." He laughed a little and rubbed the back of his head gently.

Salem put a few fingers on his chin as he listened to the Mienfoo in question. "Well I can't take it to you... but I could take you to it~?" he asked in a general light voice before slowly pulling out a pokeball and holding it forwards. "I'm sure my little girl would like you as well~" he smiled lightly.
