Welcome to Era, a once-prestigious kingdom, and now a mere shadow of its former glory. Rebel forces have dethroned the monarchy, aiming now to bring down the nobility. Ambitious Nobles meanwhile vie for power, though others simply wish to keep what they have. Others are Loyalists, believing some former-royalty could end this anarchy. Then there those who see a prime opportunity, and others who don't care at all. Some form Gangs, fighting for personal gain or unique causes, while others are more interested in the resurfacing of Shadow Pokemon. And naturally, there are those who just want to ignore everything and live their personal lives. There are no clear lines in Era.

Jacob was destined to lead his family's buisness with high hopes of wealth and glory... which were cut short by the unexpected pregnancy of his then-girlfriend. While "there" for his son until the boy grew up, Jacob largely turned away from responsibility and instead focused on his new job... with the Rebels. Today, he is extremely high within their ranks.

Though technically a teenager, Sofia acts notably younger, retaining an eternal childlike innocence. She never runs out of energy, and loooves to talk to everyone, though the recent bombings have humbled her a bit. When her best friend Harvey ran away from home, Sofia decided an adventure with him sounded fun, and has been on the road ever since.

While on the way to visit her brother, Justice lets her Togekiss take a break in the Tanglethorne Jungle and is greeted on ground-level by Seles and her Ditto, Duke, who has taken the form of a human. They introduce themselves and, as the conversation continues, Justice tells the woman where she's going, which prompts Seles to mention that she, like Justice's brother, is also a knight!
As the weather starts to pick up in an uncharacteristic snowstorm, the group looks for cover and finds a small hut in which they can take shelter and set up camp. Seles tries to make it more comfortable by releasing her Arcanine, which causes long-supressed memories from Justice's childhood to start coming back. While she is able to quell them at first, they prove too much and the girl eventually breaks down from her fear of fire and Fire-types. As she hallucinates that the hut has caught fire, Seles, Duke, and the other Pokemon present all try to calm her, to no avail.
Eventually, it occurs to one that if they can just find the Togekiss's Pokeball and release her, perhaps she will be able to calm the poor girl. After a brief search, they are able to find it and the Togekiss successfully comforts her trainer. After some time of letting Justice calm and offering as much comfort as she can manage, Seles mentions that she wants to meet someone as well: her cousin, who was once captain of the royal knights. The difference is she has no idea where he is and is searching for him rather than just going to visit as Justice is. Eventually, the storm dies down and they start to head out again, ready (they can only hope) to face whatever is in store.

When they landed she opened her eyes and set her feet down. Justice then nodded to Nero and started to carefully make her way back to Nero's house. When they got there she opened the door and went inside. Nadie perked up some when Justice walked back in. She smiled and waved, Justice smiled back and started to pack her things, As she did this she returned Winnie and Zarah who had fallen asleep. Nadie saw this and looked over at Gavin. <" Well it looks like I will be leaving soon. It was very nice to meet you Gavin I hope to see you again soon."> Nadie said with a smile before being returned to her ball. As Justice went through her bag she found her cell phone. The young girl smiled and took it out and looked over at Nero. " Hey Nero, do you have a cell phone?? If so wan't to trade numbers?" Justice asked. It would be nice to be able to talk to Nero on the phone seeing she may not be back to tree-top town anytime soon. [/scrolly]

Watching as Justice returned her pokemon, she remained quiet. Gavin, however, sighed a little discontented at having to watch Nadie leave. However, the thought that they would possibly get to communicate some time later was nice enough. Looking back at Nero for a moment, the Gardevoir flashed a smile which caused Nero to breathe in quietly and smile back. The question caused Nero's head to turn back, and for a brief moment, she stared. "I do, actually..." she said after a moment fishing it out from somewhere within her clothes. Flinching a little as she remembered how she had procured such a phone, Nero bit back a few words ad then looked back at Justice. "My number is..." she started before giving the number. [/scrolly]

She also noted that it looked expansive. Well if he had the money to get a phone like that it was great. Justice turned on her phone and entered the number that Nero had said. She then put Nero's name in to identify him when ever me called. Justice then took out some paper and wrote down her number. She then got up and slung her backpack over her shoulders and gave Nero the paper with her number on it. " We should call each other soon. Oh and before I forget. My whole name is Justice Isabella Castillo. Just thought I should let you know." Justice said with a smile. [/scrolly]

The extra piece of information was enough to cause Nero to blink for a moment. She'd given her full name, and though the last name rung no bells with her, it was the act of being so up front that astounded the dark haired young woman. After a brief moment, Nero smiled. "My family name is Ishi," she said before slowly opening the door out of her house. Far below, there was quite a lot of water settled on the forest floor which would make it hard to walk in. Stopping a moment, Nero looked sideways at Justice. "You know, if you asked Nadie, she could probably teleport you far enough away so that you don't get caught in the water and the mud.." she said after a moment. She would be sure to remember that. She then walked outside and took a few steps before Nero spoke, she stopped and looked at Nero blinking. Teleport? Justice looked down at the ground and looked at all the mud and water. Heh.... Yeah walking through that would be a pain.. She then looked back at Nero with a smile. " Thanks, thats good advice." Justice said she called Nadie out. The Alakazam blinked on being called out so soon. She looked over at Justice, < Is something wrong?"> She projected. Justice shook her head and smiled."No, nothing is wrong, I just wanted to ask if you could teleport us outside of the forest. The ground is wet and very muddy, so it will be hard to walk through." Justice said. Nadie smiled and nodded, < Sure, I can do that easily."> Nadie said happily. Justice smiled and looked at Nero. " Well Goodbye Nero, Gavin. Till we meet again." Justice said and put her hand on Nadie's shoulder. In a instant the the two where gone. [/scrolly]
