Vicious Circle RPG - An Overdue Apology and Farewell

Homeward Bound

While on the way to visit her brother, Justice lets her Togekiss take a break in the Tanglethorne Jungle and is greeted on ground-level by Seles and her Ditto, Duke, who has taken the form of a human. They introduce themselves and, as the conversation continues, Justice tells the woman where she's going, which prompts Seles to mention that she, like Justice's brother, is also a knight!

As the weather starts to pick up in an uncharacteristic snowstorm, the group looks for cover and finds a small hut in which they can take shelter and set up camp. Seles tries to make it more comfortable by releasing her Arcanine, which causes long-supressed memories from Justice's childhood to start coming back. While she is able to quell them at first, they prove too much and the girl eventually breaks down from her fear of fire and Fire-types. As she hallucinates that the hut has caught fire, Seles, Duke, and the other Pokemon present all try to calm her, to no avail.

Eventually, it occurs to one that if they can just find the Togekiss's Pokeball and release her, perhaps she will be able to calm the poor girl. After a brief search, they are able to find it and the Togekiss successfully comforts her trainer. After some time of letting Justice calm and offering as much comfort as she can manage, Seles mentions that she wants to meet someone as well: her cousin, who was once captain of the royal knights. The difference is she has no idea where he is and is searching for him rather than just going to visit as Justice is. Eventually, the storm dies down and they start to head out again, ready (they can only hope) to face whatever is in store.

An Overdue Apology and Farewell

After waiting around for months for any sort of muse to come back, I've come to accept that it is gone forever. Real life has changed dynamically for me, those watching my Facebook probably saw that (my changed sleep schedule, my possible job promotion, my desire to change), but for those left in the dark here, I am truly sorry.

I don't think I'll be able to roleplay anymore.

I'm about the same age my sister was when she realized meandering around doing nothing wasn't going to change her life, and now that I'm actually making money and able to feed myself, I've began to look beyond today and into the future. I don't want to stay in this town forever. I'm already on the hunt for a new job, preferably waitressing, because if I can land that kind of cash-flow, I can literally go anywhere in the country and be promised work.

Its time I got out of this black hole of a city.

I'm very sorry for any characters my disappearance messed up, or any plots that may or may not be left open. Luckily, my guys weren't too directly involved with the main plot, minus perhaps Jacob (but even then expendable to a degree). I still feel bad for bailing though, but honestly, I'm not going to string along excuses when my mind has already made the decision to progress with life and kill my muse.

To show you how serious my head is, I don't even GAME anymore. Which has been my passion since a kid. Gears are really turning. I've gotta go.

I wanna keep in better touch with everyone here though, so hit up my Facebook; message Jay or SG, they both have it. I still post usually daily insights on there, if only to reflect on later in life with a grin (or grimace, haha).

It was a terribly fun ride, but I have to step off the train now. The sky is calling~

Dare you have no Idea how sad this makes me. I may be 17 now, but I'm still just a kid. I have had a relatively easy life. I have never worked and especially not to sustain myself. I can't even begin to fathom what you're thinking or how hard it must be in your life. One part of me wants to beg you to stay, but the other part of me knows that’s pointless because you can’t. I have to accept the fact that people grow up and move on with their lives. Dare you are family here, and I always want you to remember that. 50 years from now I want you to remember VC and remember were family. That will never change. We love you Dare and always will. So go and take life and kick its ass.

This makes Elayne sad you have no idea. Imah sorry your muse never came back but that's understandable even though Elayne does wish that weren't the case. It's hard when life gets tough and things get busy Elayne knows this and though I am sad to see yous go I wish ya the best.

There is so much more Elayne wants to say but it's late and I'll probably edit more into this tomorrow/later today when I'm functioning bettar. That or I'll just nab ya on Facebook or if you're ever on chatango again. Nyaah either way will add moar later must sleep nao.

Edit: OK Elayne ish awake and somehow is reminded of How Far Do You Wanna Go by Glorianna after re-reading Darey's post. Heh Elayne swears she has a jukebox brain sometimes annnnyway as I was trying to say last night before I nearly crashed at my comp 8'''DD. Elayne is sad to see Dare go but understands that it really doesn't make sense to stick around when you can't think of anything. Like MC I want to tell you to stay, that your muse will come back eventually, but I'm not going to stand in the way of your dreams. By all means if you feel it's necessary to leave VC to fulfill your dreams then have at it. Just don't forget that if ya ever want to talk or anything at all you're welcome back here at VC anytime.

You guys are so nice, haha. I lavish much love on you as well.

Its kind-of hard, because deep down I don't want to leave, and I do want to keep convincing myself that 'oh I'll start posting eventually', but I just know it won't happen. Its rather depressing in retrospect.

I think I feel the worst for poor Felis/Jay, honestly, haha. :< I never intended to bail on that cute blondie at all, blahh. ;p

Well its... early, and I have yet to sleep (see how bad my schedule shifted? 7am is my 11pm, essentially). I don't exactly feel tired yet, but I have to work today, so its in my best interests to get at least a couple hours of sleep.
