Welcome to Era, a once-prestigious kingdom, and now a mere shadow of its former glory. Rebel forces have dethroned the monarchy, aiming now to bring down the nobility. Ambitious Nobles meanwhile vie for power, though others simply wish to keep what they have. Others are Loyalists, believing some former-royalty could end this anarchy. Then there those who see a prime opportunity, and others who don't care at all. Some form Gangs, fighting for personal gain or unique causes, while others are more interested in the resurfacing of Shadow Pokemon. And naturally, there are those who just want to ignore everything and live their personal lives. There are no clear lines in Era.

T H R E A D
Homeward Bound -------------------
While on the way to visit her brother, Justice lets her Togekiss take a break in the Tanglethorne Jungle and is greeted on ground-level by Seles and her Ditto, Duke, who has taken the form of a human. They introduce themselves and, as the conversation continues, Justice tells the woman where she's going, which prompts Seles to mention that she, like Justice's brother, is also a knight!
As the weather starts to pick up in an uncharacteristic snowstorm, the group looks for cover and finds a small hut in which they can take shelter and set up camp. Seles tries to make it more comfortable by releasing her Arcanine, which causes long-supressed memories from Justice's childhood to start coming back. While she is able to quell them at first, they prove too much and the girl eventually breaks down from her fear of fire and Fire-types. As she hallucinates that the hut has caught fire, Seles, Duke, and the other Pokemon present all try to calm her, to no avail.
Eventually, it occurs to one that if they can just find the Togekiss's Pokeball and release her, perhaps she will be able to calm the poor girl. After a brief search, they are able to find it and the Togekiss successfully comforts her trainer. After some time of letting Justice calm and offering as much comfort as she can manage, Seles mentions that she wants to meet someone as well: her cousin, who was once captain of the royal knights. The difference is she has no idea where he is and is searching for him rather than just going to visit as Justice is. Eventually, the storm dies down and they start to head out again, ready (they can only hope) to face whatever is in store.
(See link at the top for greater detail of the above and more plot thereafter! Thanks to Tere for this detailed desc and various smaller help with these spotlights.)

Hearing the quiet response from behind a stall door, Carly turned, feeling increasingly guilty for causing Lexi to feel like this...whatever 'this' was... Walking over to the stall door, Carly leaned on the divider between two of the stalls,"Lexi...? Listen hun'....I didna mean ta hurt ya... I-.... I dun know wha came over me..."Carly said quietly before falling silent. Shit...this was not what how she had wanted tonight to turn out...of all the idiotic things she could have done (and still wanted to do) upsetting her little sister was not one of them. Sighing quietly, Carly bit her bottom lip as she tried to think about what else to say but try as she might no words came.[/scrolly]

It was nice of her to say such, but she was certainly taking her time about it. "Heh.. Yeah." She still wasn't sure just what shirt Iris had supposedly lost, but whatever. "While you do that, I'm gonna see what I can do about this leg, aight?" Taking her crutch, she hobbled to the 'kitchen' from there.
For the most part, this was just a place where dishes were washed. Technically, there was a small stove and grill, but they'd never been used to Alex's knowledge, or at least not since before Lyall bought the building. If they had, she'd never been there, at any rate. ...Hm. Obviously not tonight, but they really should grill something some time. Maybe for a New Year's party next week.. or for more notice, like... Some other holiday, heh. :B When was the anniversary of Nolan's fall? February? They could celebrate that or something.
RIGHT, task at hand. While she doubted it, she couldn't help but wonder if there was anything back here she could fashion into a brace for her leg.. It wouldn't need to hold but a few minutes; she just.. Man she had a great idea and her crutch would totally kill it.
... At some point it occurred to her that she was indirectly bitching that the bombings on the capital had ruined her karaoke number and she couldn't help but give a pitiful laugh despite feeling awful, but then it was back to searching.

That and she'd have much rather stayed with Alex, but oh well he found a reason to leave meaning now she had to go, heh. However that didn't stop her from watching Alex leave--wait what was her sudden fascination with...oh well. Back to the task at hand.
Iris finally made her way to the bathroom, and the first thing she noticed was her--albeit torn--blouse on the side of the sink. Walking over, she grabbed her shirt and threw it in the trash. Sigh. She really loved that shirt, too. It was so pretty and comfortable and showed off her--FOCUS.
"Everything okay?" she asked rather awkwardly, looking at Carly.

....Hey where did everybody go? Lyall looked around to see that the various women had diffused in one way or another, but rather than be discouraged by this, he took a drink for luck and went back over to the table with Bo Staff and Arrow at it. There, he proceeded to start some random story that didn't get half way done before he forgot what he had been saying. Damn, oh well, new story then.
Meanwhile, Lexi remained pressed against part of the stall trying to hold back whatever was trying to hurt her so badly at the moment. She wasn't even sure what it was anymore, but it brought a sickening feeling to her regardless. As Carly spoke, Alexis inhaled and exhaled quietly before slowly getting off the door-- only to hear someone else enter. Jumping a little, she ended up slipping and went crashing down on the floor, just barely being scraped by the end of the toilet in the process. What..who...where...? >~<;;; And how exactly had she just managed to do that?

If she managed to patch things up with Lexi though one thing was for sure, Carly was going to back off the drinks.......as soon as she asked Lyall to maybe get her one of those strawberry drinks.... Hearing Lexi move, Carly looked over to the stall door just as Iris entered. The resulting crash that was Lexi falling to the ground caused Carly to tense considerably,"L..Lexi!?"she stuttered, eyes wide with shock as Iris asked if everything was OK. Shaking her head, Carly turned back to the stall door,"Lexi? Are you all right.......?"[/scrolly]
Parties were not supposed to be this boring. It seemed Lyall had meandered off (ah well; she had said after the competition, and just as well Carly and them not have another excuse to try to reel her in), and as much as she'd liiike to go talk to some of the boys in this bar... heh... Aside from wanting at least one chance to flirt with Lyall properly tonight (x3 it was his birthday, hehe).. well.. Some of the guys were sitting with girls, and while it was sometimes fun to go troll a little she was not, contrary to popular belief, a home-wrecker, nor did she feel like giving that impression here. Since she didn't know which were couples and which were friends, she decided to just play it safe. As for the tables without girls.. :B She.. sort of... knew a few guys here already, and that would have made things a little awkward, if probably more for them than her. She'd seen at least one or two tables in her skimming that seemed safe, but people were going back and forth and--..... Eh, mostly she just didn't feel like it at the moment. 'x3; Why did she need to justify it?
Annnnyway.. The downside was she didn't have anyone to talk to. She thought of bringing out Cyn, but didn't feel like explaining him later. Maybe Liam, but.. Eh. She didn't want to be the only weirdo sitting alone with a Pokemon, and Liam wasn't really a talker anyway. Mmm... Maybe she could text someone?
Shrugging to herself, she pulled out her phone and started going through her contacts. Mmmm.... Blehhh... No, no... Hey, may-... <_<;; No wait she was mad at Lilah wasn't she? 'x3;; Right moving on. No, no. She was pretty sure Faith was doing something (and she wasn't exactly the most social person anyway heh x'3). No.. No.. He was sick.. She'd been busy lately. No.. He'd recently gotten a girlfriend and, shockingly, didn't want Lilah calling him. She rolled her eyes. No, no, n--- Oh actually hey. Yeah that sounded great! She hadn't talked to her in a while. :3

Ninca! Da, da -tap tap tap- DA!' Jemma simply grinned when he heard the sound he'd recorded for his text messages. Devi never really liked electronics, but it was the perfect message tone... not because of the alert itself, but because of what followed.
<AH! There it goes again! It stole my voice! How dare you, you evil contraption? Moon... MOON! Help me punish this thing,> the oddly-colored Nincada immediately started to remark. The Lunatone she was requesting help from... didn't move. She was napping in the corner of the living room. However, some of the other Pokemon were quick to offer their help (including a Cryorunt, a Combee, and a Budew). The starting chaos prompted by Devi's reaction to the phone playing her voice back was always noticeable without question and no matter where the phone was, she seemed to be able to find it.
And so, before the other Pokemon could "punish" the poor electronic, Stephanie was quick to pick it up and bring it to her trainer. "Thanks, Steph," the cross-dresser offered his Jigglypuff. The moment he was done wiping his hands off from rinsing them (as he had been preparing a little bit of a light-night snack), he took the phone and flipped it open.
Oh! Delilah~<3
'Hey! Not too much, just hanging out at home. How's it going?' Send.
"Okay, everyone, calm it down," he finally decided to mention to the Pokemon in the living room. Thankfully they listened for the most part at least.

Or was it? Wait what was the plan again? Even in Iris's state, she knew that something wasn't quite right, especially when she heard what sounded like someone hitting the floor. That was NEVER good. At the sound, Iris quickly moved so she was in front of the door, and saw Lexi there.
Then, the woman attempted something one shouldn't attempt with alcohol in their system. Her attempt to gracefully slide under the door would have been perfect otherwise, but given the circumstances...her head ended up smacking against the bottom of the door, and she crawled the rest of the way under the stall. Her head--and her pride--hurting like hell, she leaned against the door, now looking down at Lexi.
"Lexi I know CPR and you have about three seconds to object or let me know you're conscious." Okay maybe that wasn't the best thing to say, but....Iris wasn't exactly in a 'thinking' mood right now. She just hoped Lexi was all right; Iris of all people knew how unforgiving a bathroom floor could be.

Carly's question elicited a shake of Alexis's head- though neither of the other two women in the bathroom could see that at the moment. Suddenly Iris was-- -WHAT? What.... just... happened... "I-I-Iris... CPR works on ch-choking patients not inj-juries..." the blue haired girl, more frightened than injured at the moment, stared at Iris wondering how she had managed to literally go under such a low stall. Speaking of which, it had suddenly become cramped in the small stall very quickly, and though she wasn't extremely claustrophobic, whether from the fall or whether from the size, she found her throat closing up silencing whatever else she had been about to say.

Surprised, Carly all but gaped at the action before sighing in relief at hearing Lexi speak at least. Still...enough was enough, if Lexi was going to remain in the stall then she'd just have to go to her. Heading into the adjacent stall, Carly climbed onto the back of the toilet and hoisted herself up onto the divider before simply sitting on the dividing wall of sorts, for once glad that she had opted to wear jeans instead of her usual skirt. Looking down at Iris and Lexi, Carly gave a goofy/sheepish smile,"Yalright Lexi?"she asked in a concerned voice,"That sounded like a right nasty fall..."[/scrolly]
