Jacob was destined to lead his family's buisness with high hopes of wealth and glory... which were cut short by the unexpected pregnancy of his then-girlfriend. While "there" for his son until the boy grew up, Jacob largely turned away from responsibility and instead focused on his new job... with the Rebels. Today, he is extremely high within their ranks.

Though technically a teenager, Sofia acts notably younger, retaining an eternal childlike innocence. She never runs out of energy, and loooves to talk to everyone, though the recent bombings have humbled her a bit. When her best friend Harvey ran away from home, Sofia decided an adventure with him sounded fun, and has been on the road ever since.

Homeward Bound -------------------
While on the way to visit her brother, Justice lets her Togekiss take a break in the Tanglethorne Jungle and is greeted on ground-level by Seles and her Ditto, Duke, who has taken the form of a human. They introduce themselves and, as the conversation continues, Justice tells the woman where she's going, which prompts Seles to mention that she, like Justice's brother, is also a knight!
As the weather starts to pick up in an uncharacteristic snowstorm, the group looks for cover and finds a small hut in which they can take shelter and set up camp. Seles tries to make it more comfortable by releasing her Arcanine, which causes long-supressed memories from Justice's childhood to start coming back. While she is able to quell them at first, they prove too much and the girl eventually breaks down from her fear of fire and Fire-types. As she hallucinates that the hut has caught fire, Seles, Duke, and the other Pokemon present all try to calm her, to no avail.
Eventually, it occurs to one that if they can just find the Togekiss's Pokeball and release her, perhaps she will be able to calm the poor girl. After a brief search, they are able to find it and the Togekiss successfully comforts her trainer. After some time of letting Justice calm and offering as much comfort as she can manage, Seles mentions that she wants to meet someone as well: her cousin, who was once captain of the royal knights. The difference is she has no idea where he is and is searching for him rather than just going to visit as Justice is. Eventually, the storm dies down and they start to head out again, ready (they can only hope) to face whatever is in store.

A gentle smile played across her features and once again Vicki found herself thinking why someone like Jack had chosen her.... Looking up at Jack again, Vicki realized that he still held her hairbrush and laughed,"Did you need to borrow my hairbrush Jack?"she teased, her eyes never once leaving his.[/scrolly]

Nodding his head, he flashed a grin. "Course," he replied before extending a hand and taking one of Vicki's before pulling open the door and starting out into the hallway. Walking down it and navigating it well enough to the breakfast area, he found it was being served more or less cafeteria style and started over before releasing Victoria's hand if only to snag a plate. Ordering various breakfast foods that were displayed, Jack watched as his plate was stacked up by the chef -or whom he assumed to be the chef. Taking his plate back when it was fully stacked, Jack grinned and looked towards Victoria before making a gesture to follow and starting towards a table. Sitting down, he sighed feeling that weight leave his knees but that familiar feeling of not sitting in the most comfortable chairs causing a slight pain here and there. Ignroing it, he fished out his silverware that had been picked up towards the end and started to take a bite.

Once they had reached the breakfast area Vicki followed Jack over to where the plates were and stared at the menu for a few moments before deciding on something that at least sounded like it'd be sweet. Watching as her plate was stacked, Vicki wondered how she could possibly eat this much...she wasn't even really that hungry and...eh, she'd worry about it later. Looking back at Jack as it seemed the chef...or whoever the server was...had finished stacking her plate, Vicki followed him to a table before sitting down across from him. Setting her plate down, Vicki stared at it for a few moments, wondering where she could even begin before deciding on something that appeared to be French Toast and picked up her fork before taking a bite. Mmmm, this was delicious...it seemed that the French Toast had been stuffed with cherries which made it all the more delicious. The pleasure was rather obvious on her face as she took another bite, suddenly feeling ravenous after not eating very little the night before.[/scrolly]

Third replied causing Jack to sigh for a moment before actually continuing to eat. For a while, it was quiet, yet when he finally set down his fork having finished, Jack chuckled, a lazy if weak sort of expression dominated his features. The food had helped settle the residual feelings but it had also made him sleepy again, somehow. "Not bad, huh?" he asked.

Vicki continued before cutting herself off and looking down at the table, her face turning bright red as she realized she was making a fool of herself. "...I mean... I'm having a lot of fun..."Vicki continued, her voice dropping to almost a whisper.[/scrolly]

He wanted those lips that he never seemed to get tired of, and he wanted that body he could just curl around. However, he leaned forwards again and instead set his forehead on hers. "Then we'll do it," he grinned staring into her good eye and wondering briefly if he could get her to take that eye-patch off long enough to even see her other eye... But he wouldn't push it. After a moment, he leaned back slowly as not to have her go flying forward and sat back. "Hey, how 'bout we grab our things and head around to buy some warm stuff and then go sight seeing?" he grinned after a moment.

Blinking, Vicki nodded at Jack's suggestion and stood up,"That sounds good,"she replied easily before looking at the dishes. It felt...odd to just leave them there but...it was a restaurant of sorts right...right... Looking back at Jack, Vicki smiled,"Where should we start?"[/scrolly]

Listening to his words, Vicki nodded and started off to where she believed the room to be. She still wasn't quite sure she wanted to go sight seeing in the cold but as long as she was warm enough it'd be fine...heh, perhaps it might actually be fun... Admittedly Vicki had been avoiding the north because it was so cold but now that she was here it would be a waste to just up and leave without taking at least a little look around. Once they reached the room, Vicki opened the door and scanned the room to see if she was had forgotten anything. Not seeing anything immediately, Vicki headed to the bathroom to see if she had left any items there. Not surprising there wasn't anything in the bathroom either. The only thing that she had taken out that morning were clothes and her hairbrush...both of which she had already returned to her bag. Giving the room one last look, Vicki closed her bag and shouldered it before turning to Jack,"Ready when you are,"she said in a calm voice as she waited for Jack to get ready.[/scrolly]
