Welcome to Era, a once-prestigious kingdom, and now a mere shadow of its former glory. Rebel forces have dethroned the monarchy, aiming now to bring down the nobility. Ambitious Nobles meanwhile vie for power, though others simply wish to keep what they have. Others are Loyalists, believing some former-royalty could end this anarchy. Then there those who see a prime opportunity, and others who don't care at all. Some form Gangs, fighting for personal gain or unique causes, while others are more interested in the resurfacing of Shadow Pokemon. And naturally, there are those who just want to ignore everything and live their personal lives. There are no clear lines in Era.

Jacob was destined to lead his family's buisness with high hopes of wealth and glory... which were cut short by the unexpected pregnancy of his then-girlfriend. While "there" for his son until the boy grew up, Jacob largely turned away from responsibility and instead focused on his new job... with the Rebels. Today, he is extremely high within their ranks.

Though technically a teenager, Sofia acts notably younger, retaining an eternal childlike innocence. She never runs out of energy, and loooves to talk to everyone, though the recent bombings have humbled her a bit. When her best friend Harvey ran away from home, Sofia decided an adventure with him sounded fun, and has been on the road ever since.

Homeward Bound -------------------
While on the way to visit her brother, Justice lets her Togekiss take a break in the Tanglethorne Jungle and is greeted on ground-level by Seles and her Ditto, Duke, who has taken the form of a human. They introduce themselves and, as the conversation continues, Justice tells the woman where she's going, which prompts Seles to mention that she, like Justice's brother, is also a knight!
As the weather starts to pick up in an uncharacteristic snowstorm, the group looks for cover and finds a small hut in which they can take shelter and set up camp. Seles tries to make it more comfortable by releasing her Arcanine, which causes long-supressed memories from Justice's childhood to start coming back. While she is able to quell them at first, they prove too much and the girl eventually breaks down from her fear of fire and Fire-types. As she hallucinates that the hut has caught fire, Seles, Duke, and the other Pokemon present all try to calm her, to no avail.
Eventually, it occurs to one that if they can just find the Togekiss's Pokeball and release her, perhaps she will be able to calm the poor girl. After a brief search, they are able to find it and the Togekiss successfully comforts her trainer. After some time of letting Justice calm and offering as much comfort as she can manage, Seles mentions that she wants to meet someone as well: her cousin, who was once captain of the royal knights. The difference is she has no idea where he is and is searching for him rather than just going to visit as Justice is. Eventually, the storm dies down and they start to head out again, ready (they can only hope) to face whatever is in store.

Seiji seemed to smile. <We'll come back here again. We've been here twice since we started to adventure. Would you want to?> Seiji asks with a grin. They kept going, and it appeared that Cody was sleeping on the bench still.
The Meganium seemed to smile a little and nodded his head. <I wouldn't mind that then> he answered back in a calm voice. Upon seeing Cody, the Meganium sweat dropped a little and turned his head to one sid.e <Is he really... sleeping?> was finally the question that was asked.
Seiji looked at the Meganium and nodded. He quickly ran up and got on the bench by Cody and tugged on his sleeve. Nothing.... He then got up by Cody's face and smacked his face. This caused Cody to quickly wake up and fall off the bench. Seiji started to laugh as he watched. ^^
Watching the boy wake up after being smacked, the Meganium chuckled a bit to himself and shook his head a little rather slowly. After a moment, he then slowly started towards Cody as well nodding his head slowly as he did so in a sort of greeting.
Cody glared a little bit at Seiji before looking at the Meganium. Uh.. why was that pokemon walking towards him? It didn't look angry.. so it must have just been saying hi. Seiji smiled and ran over to the Meganium. <He's still sleepy. Sorry.> Seiji says rather quickly. Cody was still trying to understand what was going on as he looked around.
Upon seeing the young trainer for what he was, the Meganium seemed to turn his head from one side to the other and offered a smile in understanding of Seiji's words. <It's alright> he assured rather gently before stepping forwards and bowing his head at Cody again. Walking closer after that, he nudged Cody gently in a more or less playful manner.
Cody was a bit confused as to what the pokemon wanted, but he found himself standing up after he was nudged. "Hey~ What's up?" he asks rather simply. He... really wasn't entirely sure what the pokemon wanted, but it seemed like he might just want to play. Cody wouldn't mind trying to snap back into reality after his snap by playing tag or something.
An easy smile came to the face of the Meganium at Cody's words, and after a few seconds, he chuckled to himself. "Ganium," he answered back rather simply before looking around a moment as though unsure of what he wanted to do. If Cody did suggest a game, that would allow the grass type to at least do something and have a bit of fun, yes.
Cody grinned a bit as he stood up. "Did you want to play a game? Maybe tag? It could be fun~" Cody suddenly tagged the pokemon and took off in the opposite direction. Seiji ran behind the pokemon and went in the other direction, deciding he would play too.
The Megnium suddenly laughed a little surprised to see that the game had started so quickly, but after a brief moment of hesitation, he quickly took off towards Cody as fast as he could. It was a bit harder to move four legs at once than two, but the grass type was surprisingly fast regardless. Catching up quickly to Cody, the Meganium stretched out his long neck and made to tag the boy with his 'nose'
Cody was running quickly, not daring to look back as he head extra steps behind him. He was trying to guess how close the pokemon was to him, but he suddenly felt the pokemon tag his back. He had completely misjudged the pokemon's size and speed... so he suddenly turned around and went chasing after him just to see Seiji off in the distance. He was running more to one side of Meganium in hopes of making both of them meet up so he could be certain that he could get one of them, though Meganium was definitely the much easier target, seeing that he was much bigger than Seiji.
Upon tagging the young man, the Meganium grinned before suddenly taking off in the opposite direction rather quickly. The game would continue for quite a while after that, but soon enough the large grass type was becoming tired. He wasn't as old as he used to be, and his endurance level had dropped considerably as time went on. However, he had put up a good game at the end of it all. Flopping down on the ground and breathing heavily, the Meganium allowed himself to relax for a short bit at the very least. <That was quite fun...> he smiled softly.
Cody walked over to him and let himself fall down onto his rear beside the pokemon. He smiles. "I had fun." he says to himself with a smile. "As a hero, I don't get to do this very often~" he says with a smirk. Cody was holding himself up with his arms and relaxing as Seiji ran over and jumped on his shoulder, wagging his tail happily. <We should do it again soon!> Seiji with quickly, smiling as he says it.
The Meganium smiled warmly at Cody. At Seiji's words, e chuckled a little and directed more of his speech towards the young pokemon. <Yes we should> he agreed with a quiet chuckle before nudging the Normal Type before bringing his head back up again. Stretching a little before yawning lazily, the Meganum tossed his head from one side to the other debating what he wanted to do. The day seemed to be ending surprisingly quickly despite his best efforts to slow it down and enjoy it. However, he couldn't say that he didn't enjoy it, really. After a moment or two, the large grass type looked back at Cody. <Well now... you should probably find some shelter as it seems the day is slowly starting to fade> he commented.
