Welcome to Era, a once-prestigious kingdom, and now a mere shadow of its former glory. Rebel forces have dethroned the monarchy, aiming now to bring down the nobility. Ambitious Nobles meanwhile vie for power, though others simply wish to keep what they have. Others are Loyalists, believing some former-royalty could end this anarchy. Then there those who see a prime opportunity, and others who don't care at all. Some form Gangs, fighting for personal gain or unique causes, while others are more interested in the resurfacing of Shadow Pokemon. And naturally, there are those who just want to ignore everything and live their personal lives. There are no clear lines in Era.

Homeward Bound -------------------
While on the way to visit her brother, Justice lets her Togekiss take a break in the Tanglethorne Jungle and is greeted on ground-level by Seles and her Ditto, Duke, who has taken the form of a human. They introduce themselves and, as the conversation continues, Justice tells the woman where she's going, which prompts Seles to mention that she, like Justice's brother, is also a knight!
As the weather starts to pick up in an uncharacteristic snowstorm, the group looks for cover and finds a small hut in which they can take shelter and set up camp. Seles tries to make it more comfortable by releasing her Arcanine, which causes long-supressed memories from Justice's childhood to start coming back. While she is able to quell them at first, they prove too much and the girl eventually breaks down from her fear of fire and Fire-types. As she hallucinates that the hut has caught fire, Seles, Duke, and the other Pokemon present all try to calm her, to no avail.
Eventually, it occurs to one that if they can just find the Togekiss's Pokeball and release her, perhaps she will be able to calm the poor girl. After a brief search, they are able to find it and the Togekiss successfully comforts her trainer. After some time of letting Justice calm and offering as much comfort as she can manage, Seles mentions that she wants to meet someone as well: her cousin, who was once captain of the royal knights. The difference is she has no idea where he is and is searching for him rather than just going to visit as Justice is. Eventually, the storm dies down and they start to head out again, ready (they can only hope) to face whatever is in store.

The powered up attack raised up the large Slaking and threw him once more. Roaring out in pain, he tried to attack but found himself exhausted not only from his ability but becuase of his health. It seemed that he hadn't even realized how much damage he had taken on until it was too late.

Once more lifted up, the Slaking was thrown again, and that seemed to be it for the large tired pokemon. Groaning right before he fainted, the Slaking sighed quietly done with the world for the exhausting moment, more or less. After that, the Jungle itself fell into an eerie silence of sorts.

Muse heaved a sigh of relief. FINALLY the big Pokemon fainted. Reaching onto her belt, she pulled out another empty Pokeball, tossing it at the Slaking, hoping it would actually work this time. If not...well, Yang was still ready to go.

The pokeball hit the Slaking and drew him inwards. The ball hit the ground and began to shake slightly before finally ringing in capture.
Code:
Name: Species: Slaking Gender: Male Ability: Truant Personality: This large king of the jungle of sorts is the strong, silent type, most of the time. That being said, when irritated, he is very unforgiving and cruel as can be: attacking anyone and everyone who happens to get in his way. He doesn't relish battle unless in this hyped up state, but he will battle whenever he is asked to. When not, he is lazy, quiet, and generally easy to get along with. He often fakes being asleep in order to trick others into leaving him alone, and though he's a few candles short of the cake, he's somewhat witty in some areas, at least.
Far off, a Chatot flew about and landed on a branch absentmindedly. However, it seemed the rest of the pokemon had been scared off by the fighting.

Muse picked up the Pokeball triumphantly, but the Chatot didn't draw her attention, really. That was...boring. So, she put the ball away and continued her trek through the jungle.

Further into the Jungle, a Slakoth could be seen hanging from a tree. Whether she was awake or asleep was hard to tell, and either way, she wasn't moving. It was rather quiet for a moment, at least. Suddenly the sound of running paws could be heard, and if Muse looked right, she would catch sight of a mix of reddish orange and black running through the Jungle. A howl could be heard before it faded off and the sound of running continued and seemed to grow father away now.

Muse glanced in the direction of the sound, just in time to see...a black and red-orange blur. Calling back Yang, she put the pokeball in her belt before attempting to take off in the direction of the howl and the running.

Though the pokemon seemed to be large, it moved fast and with an agility that matched the surroundings. Another howl of sorts vibrated outwards, yet suddenly the running stopped. Within a clearing, an Arcanine could now be seen smelling and looking around rather unsure of herself. Growling deeply, she continued to look around and suddenly threw her nose to the ground before starting to sniff as hard as she could. Where were they? Where were they? She could smell them! She was sure they were here somewhere!

Muse watched as she caught up to the Arcanine, which appeared to be looking for something. Slowly, carefully, she approached the giant canine Pokemon. "Well look at you..." she murmured. "But what are you up to...."

The Arcanine continued to shiff around with a determined expression. She would find them! She'd find those rascally puppies if it was the last thing she--- a human? Stopping and looking up rather quickly at Muse, the Arcanine backed up a little and growled quietly to herself. Who was this? Had she hurt her puppies? The Arcanine didn't know but was suspicious enough of humans by nature to assume she wasn't just there to be nice.

Muse took a few steps back. "Easy, girl," she cooed. The green-haired woman had it set in her mind that she wanted this Pokemon, and though she wasn't above battling, the only Pokemon that stood a chance in hell against an Arcanine was reluctant to battle, for one reason or another...So, she'd play it nice. THEN, if necessary, she'd sic Chaos on her...

The Arcanine's ears set back on her head, and rather than look aggressive, she looked a little hurt in expression. Shaking her head, she whined a little before barking a little. If the human wasn't here to hurt her or her pups, then what was she doing here... and... had she seen any of the puppies?

Muse blinked, looking rather confused at the Arcanine. It seemed as though she was looking for something. "But what are you looking for..." she muttered, her eyes roaming a bit as if she hoped to catch a glimpse of something of interest out of the corner of her eye. For a brief moment she wished Yin hadn't been knocked out; the Albino Ralts could attempt to reason with it. Yang, on the other hand, would do nothing more than start a fight she was in no shape to handle...Sigh.

A flash of orange could be seen, and in another moment, lighter fur passed by before disappearing again. There were no exact sounds made, but the movement itself made a rustling of sorts. The Arcanine's ears suddenly perked, and her body went on edge. Suddenly a whine could be heard, and a scraggly looking Growlithe came stepping out- his ears folded back making him look a bit more pitiful than he probably would have appeared. The Arcanine didn't care at the moment and instead bounced over to her pup and quickly tackled him whining and barking with joy and jabbering on about where the others were. Though he was happy to see his mother, the Growlithe suddenly frowned at the question. Whimpering, he shook his head in shame and scooted away from his mother. Blinking, the Arcanine looked confusedly at her pup.

Muse could tell something was wrong; she didn't know why, maybe it was because they were Pokemon and they seemed so upset...but her heart went out to them. And the pup looked rough...
Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a Pokeball, and called out the battle-worn Yang. "Yang. I want you to help them." The Ralts looked at her with a confused expression, then focused an attack.
"Yang. Do NOT. Attack. Help them."
But....what fun is that?
"If you want to battle again in the near future, you'll help them."
Oh okay... The Ralts let out a sigh and made her way over to the canines. Can...I....help...?

The Arcanine blinked hearing the voice in her head. Looking sideways at the Ralts, she turned her head to one side before returning it again. <Is...there any way you can find my other pups, Mr. Psychic?> she asked worriedly. <Two of my other puppies are out there, and I'm worried...> she said before throwing her head sideways at the jungle to signify that they were out 'there'. The pup was quiet and simply whimpered to himself unable to find the words he wanted to say. He wanted to apologize for wandering off, but he already felt so bad that it didn't feel right to say.
