[Split off from Awkward for time purposes; will rejoin it; counts against that thread's service limits for Kali.]Kali looked down at the small map of the resort in the pamphlet, then made another turn, honestly a little surprised she was still on the right track given how clouded her head felt. She sighed as she continued mechanically toward her destination. It wasn't that she'd really wanted Kaito not to come. She just.. needed a few minutes to think. ...A few minutes without him right there reminding her just how amazing he was and how stupid she must be for even trying to second-guess herself. It was just... She-... He didn't-... Kali groaned lightly but aloud; even her 'logic' should have made him all the more appealing. Arceus, what was wrong with her? Fortunately, before she could fall too deep into this, she arrived at the massage area. Stepping inside, she called in a deceptively bright tone, "Hello?"

In the few seconds after Kali had called, two brown haired men wearing the same dark suited attire stood up from behind the table they had been at and addressed the grey haired young woman. They almost looked like mirror images of one another with the same brown hair and light brown almost honey colored eyes. "Welcome," they said together in unison before making a light bow continuing to mirror each other even in movements. "Can we help," the first one started. "You to day?" the second on ended.

Kali twitched just slightly- much more inside than out- but otherwise just held her pleasant smile. All right, dudes were pretty creepy... But hey. What did it matter who gave her Pokemon massages as long as they did a good enough job, eh? She sent out three Pokemon for now, then- a Chingling, a Riolu, and her Pichu/Chansey hybrid. "Yes sirs. I was hoping you might be able to give these guys some massages~" she chimed. The three all looked up to Kali and then the men with interest. Hmm?

"Why certainly," both men stated at the same time, and in another moment, they both brought their hands before themselves and looked at the pokemon in question before looking back up at Kali. "It will take," the first one started. "Some time, but if you," the second one continued. "Would like to wait," the first continued. "Then we do have," the second one stated. "A chair here for you."

Kali nodded brightly. "I think I'll just wait here then." She could use that time to think.. Taking her seat as the men took her Pokemon, she quickly fell back into her own confusing world. He doesn't care... she kept reminding herself. Not how I want... so why should I?
Because you can't not.
Shut the hell up. For some time she argued with herself in this way, not even sure just what parts of her were arguing. Just being her heart against her head would have made it too easy; no, it seemed there was a bit of everything in both sides. ...All three sides? Four? How many options was she even considering now? Ugh..

The two men walked off with the three pokemon and disappeared for some time. After that, they came out again followed by the three pokemon. "Congratulations miss," they both said in unison. "One of your pokemon," the first one started. "Has evolved," the second one finished. With that, the second stepped aside and reviled a Chimecho instead of a Chingling. The other two pokemon had remained the same.

Kali snapped back to reality with a rather surprised look as she was spoken to, then smiled as the men made the collective announcement, only to have it fade a good deal when she saw which one. Well, a Chimecho could serve the MAIN role she'd hoped Hana would fill in the tournament, but a Raichu-Blissey hybrid would certainly do it better.. "Thank you~" she commented. Recalling all three, she slipped the balls back in her pocket only to pull two right back out and rerelease the happy but now somewhat confused occupants. Giving her sweetest smile, she asked, "What about these two? ...I assure you, they're different ones." This was particularly difficult to believe for the distinctive hybrid.. As she asked, though, she also 'discreetly' offered something of a bribe; she'd read the rules, but she'd also heard certain things about this place before coming, and.. Yes.

The two looked at each other for a few seconds knowing the general rule of this. It was one for each pokemon, and extra would have to be paid in order for another pokemon to be done yet again, but if she was willing to pay... Both looked back and then nodded the first stepping forwards and taking the money looking over it and then nodding. "We will," he began. "Massage them again." The second answered, and with that, both motioned the pokemon to follow them again.
After another amount of time, both came out again smiling pleasantly. "Congratulations," the first stated aloud. "Both pokemon," the second began. "Have evolved," they finished together stepping aside and showing a Lucario and Pikachu/Blissy.

Hana seemed quite pleased with her change, while Rio didn't seem to know what to think, marveling over and over at his new long, lanky limbs (at least in comparison to his old body). Kali grinned rather brightly at this. Well, she'd managed to kill a lot of time and cover only minimal ground in her personal endeavor, but regarding the Pokemon- the reason she was here- this was going quite well indeed. It dawned on her now that she'd left her Thunderstone back at the lab, but no matter; she'd get to that soon enough.
She thanked the creepy twins/clones/whatever and took her Pokemon, then, and headed out. She needed to get back to Kaito... ... Actually, maybe a quick look in the Capture Gardens on her own first... Just one quick catch or so. To.. test her new Pokemon. That was it. Making her way to said gardens, she stopped at the door for a deep breath, then cautiously entered the area and began to look around.

There were several trees that provided some sort of cover, yet if one looked to the right, one could see under such a tree a Leafeon appearing to chat with two Eevees sitting and watching the older male. However, there was something slightly off about the Leafeon's coloring... was it... why yes it appeared to be a Shiny... well now.

Kali was a little out of it, and honestly may have walked past the trio had the glint off the largest not caught her eye. (She was part-raccoon, after all, or so she often enough seemed, and sparkly things did have a way of getting her attention.) Double-taking then, the full realization of what was sitting there dawned on her, and a slow smile found its way to her lips. Why yes, this had been quite a good decision indeed~
Of course, none of her recently evolved Pokemon had a specific advantage over the Leafeon, but it honestly didn't really matter that much, did it.. Aside from those three, she'd brought two Pokemon because she never parted with them and one because he tended to be extremely useful in catching things; it was the latter which she released, the Weavile materializing with as cocky a smile as ever. Depending on how aggressive (if at all) the Eevee were, she may or may not have Rio help with them later. For now though, "Ice Beam on that Leafeon," she ordered.

The Ice Beam hit the Leafeon and sent him skidding quite a bit in the dirt. The Eevee's eyes grew large and round in fear. Usually humans simply came into the garden and fed them... but this... what was this? "Leaf!" the older male called, causing the other two to snap out of their sudden horrid trance. "Eon leaf!" he called, and both seemed to look at him worriedly before the first simply nodded and started to shove the second away. With the younger two on the move, the Leafeon turned his head and seemed to stare rather irritated by the sudden attack. Suddenly stepping forwards again, the Leafeon used a Sunny Day and caused a bright light to fill the area.

Pah. Siavush cringed at the sunlight, shielding his eyes with large claws. The sun was hot, and as an ice-type, he didn't like it. Aside from that, he was a creature of the night, and the bright light was just obnoxious, if not slightly painful for his sensitive eyes. Kali thought to counter it, but... Eh, she didn't feel like a never-ending battle of weather-changing, and it wasn't like she didn't have other options. "Aerial Ace, Sia," she ordered. It wasn't his favorite attack, but he liked it well enough; Siavush gave a small hint of a sound in affirmation and leaped forward with elemental claws charged.

The Leafeon was hit by the Aerial Ace and cringed from the attack. Shaking his head, he found his form twitching if ever so slightly. Forming Fury Cutter in retaliation, the Leafeon charged.

Siavush hissed as the blow connected. It was a weak, pathetic hit (for now, or as much as a Leafeon physically attacking a Weavile could be), but still carried that certain sting. Kali grimaced a moment, but quickly allowed this to turn into a smirk as it gave her an idea; honestly, she almost wanted to hit herself for not thinking of it before. The eon wasn't the only one who could use Bug moves, after all. "X-Scissor." If memory served, the Leafeon was bulkier than Sia, but it should still take Fury Cutter a while to match that~

The X-Scissor hit the Leafeon hard and sent him flying back. After a moment, he pushed himself up and stepped back using a Synthesis and taking back some energy. He couldn't take so many super effective hits again and knew it.

Kali frowned. That made Sunny Day a problem.. All right then.. "Hail," she ordered. Siavush leered a bit, but at seeing his fully healed foe he was more annoyed with the Leafeon. Slight waste of time or not, then, he called down the storm.

The storm did come, and the Hail fell hard. The Leafeon was hit and cringed from the pain of it. Shaking his head after a moment, he formed a Leaf Blade and charged the Weavile without a second thought.

Siavush took the hit with no indication of just how much it had hurt, rather giving his infamous smile to the eon. Kali opened her mouth to speak, but the Weavile was way ahead of her, leashing an Ice Punch at the Leafeon.

The Ice Punch hit the Leafeon, and for a moment, he twitched from the pain of it. However, in the next second, he simply retaliated with an X-Scissor.
