"Lovrina and anything that pertains to her or reminds me of her description," was the first thing that finally came from his mouth before he half chuckled a little to himself falling into something between a smile and a deadpan. "People telling me exactly what to do... unless of course it's Master Ein..." For a brief moment, Yue's smile heightened at the thought of his own words before he relaxed again into that half smile. "And having to explain things more than once, really...." he shrugged his shoulders at that one. It didn't so much irk him anymore as make him judge someone rather critically for it especially if it was something easy to understand or something akin to instructions. [/scrolly]

"I've heard you mention her enough to know who she is and might've heard the name once or twice from Ardos, but that's about it." What had happened to her after the last fall anyway, Kali found herself wondering. Even Ardos and Eldes hadn't escaped punishment entirely, though Greevil seemed to have disappeared. However, at the second question, Yue raised his eyebrow for a few seconds and then shrugged his shoulders a little. "Anything about her... the idea that she took work that was mine, that she was a child leading a lab in research.. that she existed in the first place...." An almost hurt laugh of sorts escaped from Yue, and after a few seconds, he shook his head a little and fell silent. [/scrolly]

Drawing in a deep breath, she assured him, "I'm sure you were Ein's first pick, if he ever knew about her at all." She nuzzled him a bit. "Anyway, you're a hundred times the scientist she'll ever be, I'm sure." Sighing a bit, she nuzzled more, hoping this would ease him a bit. As she sat there in silence for a while, a thought suddenly occurred to her. She went over his list again to see if she'd missed it, but.. No, it just wasn't there. Slightly distraught but trying to hide it, she asked, "So wait, it really doesn't bother you when other guys flirt with your girl?" Indeed, he was better than Lovrina... he'd just keep telling himself that and then prove it over and over again as time continued on. It would be perfect. Yue was feeling rather happy at that moment as his thoughts trailed this idea. However, as Kali started to talk about the day before, he frowned considerably and found himself sighing a bit. "It depends," he answered back with a shrug as his eye simply stared out the hole in the wall. [/scrolly]

Something deep within the girl twitched hard as she fought back what threatened to be a rather violent shudder. She certainly didn't want him going ballistic over her speaking with other men, but if a guy was actually openly flirting with her, she couldn't think of an instance where that shouldn't bother him at all. Half of her wanted to tear away, face the opposite direction he now was, and sulk like a child; the other half wanted to 'pursue' him, so to speak- to hold on tight and coddle and pet and reassure him that he was the only man to whom she could ever give her heart and other such sentimental things. In the end, she just ended up sitting unmoving as the two urges cancelled out. Eventually, she drew a long breath and sigh. "You know I didn't... until you denied both your jealousy and our relationship. I don't suppose you stopped to consider just how much that hurt?" Her tone had grown rather bitter, and she crossed her arms and huddled up a bit. "He was gay, by the way.." A rather belated realization hitting her, she couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Actually, I'm pretty sure he was more interested in you. But... yeah..." Breathing in deeply again, she fought back forming tears. "All I want... is for you to be as proud of me as I am of you.." To fight for her, more specifically. Kali would fucking jump a bitch if she looked the wrong way at her master. She probably would've punched Sen if had occurred to her back then that he was actually trying to flirt, but that was well-passed now. As it hit particularly hard how very much she did not want to fight him today, she went ahead and conceded with a small whimper, "I guess it was still pretty immature trying to make you jealous, though... and... I'm sorry, okay...?" He had denied jealousy, yes... but what did she mean relationship... He hadn't said anything that he could remember on it. He would have said something, yet he was caught off when she stated that that man was gay and was probably more interested in him than Kali. Something in Yue was caught being pulled in all different directions on how he was supposed to feel on that. One part of him simply went something along the lines of 'the hell?' to it all while a second thought came was deadpanning at the idea of the man hitting on him. He hadn't... had he? ....ugh..... A third part of him was now questioning why the man had hit on Kali if.... -.\; Finally a more logical part of him just went something along the lines of 'the hell with it all' and pushed the confused thoughts away. It was over now anyways, so what did it matter..... At Kali's 'sorry', Yue realized that he hadn't been really listening since she had said the man they had met was gay. After a few seconds, he simply looked away and was working over what he actually wanted to reply back with. However, he didn't really have to wait long for a thoght to come to mind. "So you went to lunch with a gay guy?" he finally asked raising his eyebrow and showing somewhat of a mixed visage. [/scrolly]

Well.. That wasn't exactly what she'd expected, but she supposed he could've reacted a lot worse. "We had lunch.. Walked around town a bit, keeping half an eye out for Pokemon. ... We were trying to find something fun to do- given you certainly weren't going to take a break to have fun with me- so I got one of my Aerodactyl and taught him to fly." She shrugged. "For the most part though, we just talked all day. Mostly about you.." She gave a half-hearted laugh. "Actually... You two have a lot in common." So much it was honestly a bit scary. Right down to the overprotective female bug-like Pokemon, at least if one considered Flygon's dragonfly characteristics. "Once I realized how much, I kind of hoped between that and him both being a guy and dating them he could give me a little advice, but..." She gave a weak hybrid between a smirk and grimace. "Seems a lot of ways you differ you're polar opposites. But eh.." Shrugging, she turned back to face him, wearing a still-weak but soft smile. They had been talking about him? About what? Certainly not about his work... his shadow pokemon... The last thing he needed was an idiot running around with knowledge about such things. It only took two to take down Cipher the first time and then one the second time around. No... not until it had dominated would it be alright to talk so freely about it! While he was mentally stirring this pot of growing irritation, Yue was forcing himself to keep a smile and at least partially pay attention to what Kali was saying. They had a lot in common? And... she asked for advice? And........ He didn't say anything to the last part and simply leaned back a little finding his eye raising to the ceiling. It still irritated him that she had been talking about him. Yes that was it, and he'd question that, yes. "What exactly did you tell him about me?" was finally what came from the white haired man. Closing his eye, Leon tried to focus on what that guy had looked like more or less trying to figure if he was anywhere close to having all his candles on the birthday cake. However, when the image of his light red... PINK. FFFFFF.......No. Not at the moment, focus. No... certainly he couldn't.....m.... His thoughts were cut by Kali's next few comments on his immaturity. She understood he apparently just never realized it needed to be said, but that didn't stop her from imagining a few different answers. When he finally held her and gave that much-needed answer, her throat tightened, but she just buried herself in his arms. For almost a full minute, she just clung tight in silence, thanking every deity she could think of for blessing her with this man. At long last, she finally murmured a small, "Good.." It was debatable by this time whether or not Kali's mind was still actually on earth or in some alternate dimension. Fantasies played through her head both a million miles a minute and lingering slowly, all to do with her perfect boyfriend. ... Who.. could honestly be a pretty terrible boyfriend at times. Heh. Ah well.. Actually though.. Kali's mood fell a bit as that reminded her.. "You aren't the first guy I've dated, by the way.." Looking away, she explained, "I.. actually went out with Kaito for just a few days when we went to Paradise.. ... You've certainly told me enough today.. I thought you should know is all." Somewhere in the back of his mind, Yue was already devising several new ways to torment the man possibly with some extra paperwork that needed to be done or something of that mannerism to keep him from actually working and doing what he actually liked to do. Just something to keep him swimming for a few days...weeks...eh why not a month or two if not more? However, for now, he'd be nice... maybe. After a few seconds, he smiled and even chuckled a little. "It's fine...." he answered back shrugging his shoulders a little. "Though is that why he's been a ghost of the lab, lately?" Yue finally asked. [/scrolly]

"I'd just sort of avoided him for a few weeks was all- it's been a few months since then." She forced a short, uncomfortable attempt at a laugh, and after a few moments clung to him again. "No, I wouldn't do that. I just... well..." Even in her head, the full truth sounded pretty fucking selfish and a bit cruel.. "I didn't do it before coming to you because... I was really afraid.. given how you'd reacted to that kiss and then all the drama in Wharfenfair... So I just sort of..." She buried herself against him even as she turned her head away. "If you'd rejected me, I didn't want to be alone." As always.. She forced a weak shrug. "And then.. well.. I just felt too awkward to talk to him." As another thought hit Kali, she did break into a weak smile, laughing lightly. "If it makes you feel better... he knew before we got together it was coming. Especially seeing as I never shut up about you." Smile broadening as another correlation came, she laughed a bit brighter. "Actually... I just realized that every guy in Era who I've spent any significant time with," or rather anyone with whom she'd had a pleasant conversation lasting longer than a few minutes, "I've always asked something revolving around you and I....
