Everyone dreams of becoming a Legend.

Team Galactic fell and peace finally reached the Regions. Unfortunately, such a time of peace would not last.. A new evil organization surfaced. They called themselves Team Misery and they they came prepared. Soon after revealing themselves they released a poisonous, airborne toxin they had named The Darkness. It was odorless, tasteless, invisible. It turned out to be harmless to humans. Everyone began to relax, thinking Misery had messed up.

At first no one noticed the subtle changes happening to their pokémon.

The Darkness infected it's victims slowly and only affected pokémon. It had four stages; first the infected pokémon started to become lethargic for several days. Next their coats turned a deep, jet black and their eyes paled considerably, to a deathly-looking, misty white. Then the pokémon turned violent. They attacked anything in sight, their Trainers, other pokémon, nothing could make them stop. The violent stage would last about five to seven days. Finally the pokémon would die. Slow, painful deaths and they remained violent until the end.

Misery did not account for the fact the the poisonous gas they created would not dissipate. Their pokémon became infected as well and the organization was nearly decimated.

Chaos reigned in the Regions. Pokémon everywhere were quickly becoming infected with the Darkness and no one knew how to stop it. Not even pokéballs were safe. Somehow the Darkness was able to reach the pokémon in the balls. Everywhere pokémon were rampaging, people were panicking, and casualties were high...

Far across the ocean from the other Regions, was Terranyx. It alone remained untouched by the Darkness.

It wasn't long before everyone knew Terranyx was safe. Refugees surged to the Region, trying to escape the Darkness infected pokémon.

Seven Legendary psychic-type pokémon came together to protect the isolated Region they lived in. Together they linked themselves and created an invisible, psychic barrier around the Region. They seperated into groups; two would take to maintaining the barrier during the Spring months, the next two would hold the barrier during the Summer months, and the last three would take the barrier during the Fall and Winter months. Like all the other Legendary pokémon, these seven keep themselves hidden so no one can find them.


Mew and Cresselia maintain the shield and protect the Terranyx Region during the Spring.

Latias and Latios hold the shield and protect the Terranyx Region during the Summer.

Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf take the shield and protect the Terranyx Region during the Fall and Winter.


No one knows what would happen to the barrier if anything were to happen to any of these seven pokémon...

The people of Terranyx quickly accepted the refugees and were very willing to help. Absolutely no pokémon were allowed into the Region, however.

Being seperated from the other Regions, most people forgot Terranyx existed, and for as long as anyone can remember, peace has ruled the region.

However, such golden years could not last.

Not long ago, a group has entered Terranyx and disrupted the peace. They call themselves Team Mystic. No one is quite sure what they are up to, as they have hidden themselves deep within one of the mountains. They haven't revealed their plan and that has many people worried.
