So, my character Yukiko wants to be a ranger super-bad. But she can't/couldn't find any signs that they exist in Era. x'3 So, her plans are to start one!
Please post here if you have nay interested characters. I would LOVE to roleplay Yukiko meeting them and getting them to agree to being a Ranger rather than a Trainer, or mostly at least. Of course, she and any other Rangers would still have to battle/whatever else to get money, and for some time this will NOT be government sanctioned. Trainers aren't either really, but since this will be a group, it will indeed technically be a 'gang,' if one that will help get your Glameow out of a tree. x'3
If/when I have a few chars that will join, I'll buy/rent a condo/house/whatever and have that work as the Ranger Office for the Central Capital. x'3 The Res. Area certainly isn't where you'd expect such a thing, but hey, people have businesses out of houses all the time.
So yeah. Basically, they won't be doing much (if anything) different from otherwise, and Yuki would have no idea where to get Ranger Stylers. Basically it's going to be more like a bunch of people who'll go about and help people (maybe for pay? Like not RP money but that magical money that's for food and the like x'3) but still might catch Pokemon and whatever. Yuki wouldn't but others would be free to.

I've kinda wanted to create a ranger character for awhile who is a ranger. He would be from Almia and perhaps carry an extra one or two stylers and like give Yuki one or something.
I reckon mine would be more of a 'lone ranger' at first as he wouldn't know of any other rangers in Era but wanting to find more rangers so then he'll be happy to join Yuki's 'gang'.
We could also make more interesting plottage somehow.

x'3 of course you can use a pre-existing character! In fact, that probably works better because, well, most people WON'T be like tailor-made to be a Ranger. x'3 Which char specifically? o3o
Also, Ez: WOOT that would be AWESOME. Yukiko would be just like SOO HAPPY to not have to permanently catch Pokemon anymore unless they specifically WANTED to come with her. x'3 She's verrrrry against catching Pokemon and keeping them and yeah. So she'd just be like 8'''DD OMGILOVEYOU. x'3

LOL well of course he won't just give it to her straight away but like after meeting her a few times, he will see the potential in her to be a ranger and whatnot. But of course we could always just work that into a few posts. So he's probably going to be an experienced ranger and possible future mentor/advisor/the like for Yuki?

x'3 for Yuki I wasn't planning on USING it. Just being like PLOT OMG. I can't imagine actual ranger gameplay would fit well in VC. Just...no. WAY too complicated. But Yuki would like die. (Of happiness.)
And...the future mentor/etc. would really depend on how they act with each other. Yukiko IS extremely proud, and while she'd be willing to join a pre-existing Ranger organization as an underling, if she was starting it from the ground up...she might be like >.> I'm not a child, I don't need help. 'x3

Oooh. Yeah this idea is still very uh well it wasn't actually ever 'active' to begin with because my char seemed the most motivated in doing stuff, but I myself am not, and, uh, well yeah. :I But it would be great to have your char aboard!  |
