No New Posts Cave Systems

Long tunnels wind their way through the mountains, forming an efficient method of travel. It's easy to get lost, so purchasing a map before adventuring might be wise. But who am I to tell you what do to?

No New Posts Abandoned Mines

When the land of the region was fertile with diamonds, many individuals rushed to the mines to reap the rewards. Today, however, the mines are dry and hold nothing but ghosts.

No New Posts Glacial Village

Amidst sloping hills lies a small, modest village. In the winter this place is a tundra and in the summer it is a flowering meadow. It was once a mining town but now it serves as a ski resort. Unfortunately the amount of skiers has gone down through the years as has the village's productivity.

No New Posts Blind-Eye Valley

High in elevation, this valley is cradled between several of the north's tallest mountains. The peaks of the mountains themselves are always brimmed with rings of thick clouds, making them appear endless. Few travelers manage to find Blind-Eye, as it is not only far out of the way, but almost constantly veiled in impenetrable fog. For those that do find this hidden area, it can serve as sanctuary from the frigid conditions of the mountains. A store of mineral-enhanced water provides nutrients for both bush and beast living in the area. This secluded valley allows its few lucky inhabitants to turn a blind eye to the world's problems.

No New Posts Secluded Spa

These hot waters provide some warmth in the lower areas of the Northern Reaches. Many come to relax and enjoy the natural scenery and hot water. There is a bath house at the edge of one of the major springs which people can stay at while they enjoy their time here. A small staff of massage therapists and yoga instructors work here.

No New Posts Sonata City

As its whimsical name suggests, this is quite the musical and friendly city, despite its chilly location. Notes can be heard floating along in the air coming from all around. Their origins? Friendly pubs, dance joints and plain old gatherings of friends. Nobody is a stranger in this city, so come and make yourself comfortable in an atmosphere so inviting and warm, it nearly melts the snow.

No New Posts Den of Illusions

A large expanse of forest, breaking off from the Wayward Forest, somewhat bordering the Glacial Village to the far north. This forest is unnaturally cold, snowstorms are a constant year round occurrence, always leaving the forest covered in thick layers of ice. Many large and deep pools of water can be found throughout the forest, usually with wide holes in them, though water pokemon are seen rarely. It is said travelers who brave this fores, whether due to cold or unnatural phenomenon, have severe hallucinations of things past, or their worst fears.

No New Posts Yukishiro Castle

High up on a rugged hill against a backdrop of picturesque mountain scenery resides a large white castle, the home to the noble of the north. Akira is fairly welcoming to visitors, if you're interested in exploring the large home, but the people living in the town below say it's also worth taking time to explore the surrounding area with its gushing waterfalls, limestone gorges and mountain trails.

Farther south than Glacial Village, this town was once known for its industrial complexes, yet now the engines have been cut off by the crippling of the economy leaving a hollow shell of what it once was.

No New Posts Mt. Everesstone

This distinctive peak lies just past the foothills northeast of the capital, boasting a few small lakes and streams, an expanse of scattered forest, and even a few shallow caves. It is said that just below the surface, the entire mountain contains a giant Everstone. Because of this, all the Pokemon in the area are in their first stage, and neither they nor outsiders will evolve while here, even under item influence, though just a few miles away it again becomes possible even for those who have lived on the mountain since birth. Possibly due to this odd nature, the area is serene, and the Pokemon here are generally friendly if a bit timid and skeptic of humans.

No New Posts Wayward Forest

Wayward Forest lives up to it's name, as its large and wild. Many miles of its expanse are still unexplored and uncharted, waiting for an adventurous mind to wander about. There are also many secrets lying deep within the land, as a mystical aura radiates from the earthy soil below the snow. If you listen carefully, you could swear the trees are whispering to you, begging for their voices to be heard.
