No New Posts Commercial District

Many small shops adorn this district of the city. In the center of the commercial district is a huge shopping mall that sells everything a consumer could imagine. Significant portions have been newly rebuilt after the Nov 2011 bombings.

No New Posts Party Central

The one part of Era that has never been hurt for business: the capital's entertainment district! When the economy thrives, people come to celebrate their success; when the economy withers, people come to drown their sorrows. Filled with theatres, casinos, live shows, night clubs, and much more, this section of the city never sleeps, especially not at night. Traveling acts often pass through as well, making for even more lively variety... as well as an opportunity for those who know how to use it!

No New Posts Breeding Center

In the middle of the city is a building with many windows and a courtyard at its center. This building is very famous and it is the place where people can have their pokemon breed.

No New Posts Pokemon Shelter and Exchange

This large facility houses a variety of Pokemon-related services. Most notably, it serves as a place for trainers to seek and offer trades, in addition to buying and taking in unwanted Pokemon from trainers for a small sum. Pokemon taken into the shelter are then put up for adoption. Without an official 'Pokemon Lab' in Era, many young trainers adopt one of these as their first, and there are large discounts for those with no Pokemon as a result. Pokemon not adopted within two months will be slowly reintroduced to the wild in their most natural habitats. In addition, there are a number of small, open classes and activities for trainers and Pokemon to attend, making it a great stop for veterans and newbies alike.

No New Posts Service District

This part of the capital is home to a wide variety of human services, including but not limited to: the last really great hospital plaza with varieties of specialists (those lesser cities which still have hospitals at all usually being low quality and barely hanging on); various government functions such as social services, city hall, courthouse, and so-on; a volunteer fire department, which was originally paid but taken over and kept up after the coup in order to allot what little they still got to other functions; the headquarters of The Enforcers (name is tentative), a self-supported vigilante sort of organization which has taken on the role of police work since the coup; the now-abandoned buildings which once served as headquarters to the various militia units outside the knights, as well as one major building which has become a makeshift combined HQ for what scattered forces from all units who are determined to continue being soldiers regardless; an orphanage supported by several noble houses in order to provide a place for the children of war victims whether they be of noble or common blood (although, admittedly, there seems to be some minor segregation and favoritism toward either side based on the feelings of whichever workers are there at the time); and much much more.

No New Posts Edward U. Kating University

Era's foremost in formal education. In the past, only the very most elite could even dream of setting foot on the grounds of this prestigious paradise of higher learning. Since the fall of the kingdom in particular, however, funds have been largely cut, and Edward U. Kating has begun opening its doors to whoever it can get (as long as they can still pay reasonably), and largely absorbing the more serious students from various smaller schools which have been forced to close. Once upon a time, one could study most anything here in some shape or form, and as many cuts as they've had to make, the staff still tries their best to uphold that where it can.

No New Posts Abandoned Barracks

These barracks, located near Era Castle, once housed the royal military. However, with bad economy, these were slowly being emptied out as officers quit or were fired, even before the fall of the castle. Now, it's entirely empty, with perhaps a few Pokemon living inside.

No New Posts Era Castle

This was the home of the royal family before the rebellion. It is a large medieval castle complete with a moat and spires. It is dwarfed by the modern day skyscrapers around it. In its day it was a proud symbol of wealth and power, but today it is a broken shamble of its former self. The castle has been looted many times but if you want to scour through it then be my guest. The inside of the castle is burned and singed.

No New Posts Clock Tower Ruins

This old clock tower had existed in Era for ages and was a sight to see throughout its years for it never once broke down. However, the day the kingdom fell, the clock silenced its tolls and froze its hands appearing to almost freeze in time. None ever knew why, and many tried to fix the old clock, yet it remained frozen until the day the tower fell. There was a rumor started by loyalists that it was a sign that the aristocracy is meant to be in power, though of course rebels insisted it was just an old clock and odd luck. On November 26, 2011, the tower was blown apart by as of yet unknown forces. Whoever is responsible, though, people seem to agree- whether with joy or fear or disgust- that its destruction parallels to the fall of old power in Era. Ruins of the tower now lay scattered, though the broken base still extends up five stories (a mere fraction of its former glory) with a number of chambers still in-tact, and skeletal scaffolding higher still.

No New Posts Eminence Essential Center

Similar to the Prestige Precept Center (better known as the "Pre-Gym") in Orre, this large facility was once a well-organized and somewhat exclusive training center for well-off trainers to practice, learn, and challenge the center staff. However, the temporary ban on training shut it down until the Rebellion, and ever since it has been re-opened by volunteers simply as a place for any trainer who is interested to gather for battles or just meeting others interested in Pokemon. Things are no longer so eminent in appearance or even organization as they once were, but it's still quite spacious, offering plenty of room for many battles and spectators. Occasionally the volunteers will also bring food to open a concession stand, though this varies greatly.

The dirty, rundown portion of the city where people live in old condemned buildings or on the streets. Gangs have made their marks here in multiple places. Almost every building has their trademarks painted onto them.
