“Gassstly.” Gastly replied to Risa saying that she could hide first. It figured since he was the one who suggested the game, she should get to hide first. He was really exceited about being able to play the game with Risa. His other friends... well Charizard didn’t really play games. Swablu always had an issue with playing hide and seek. Whenever she would find a hiding spot she would have to clean it. Often the sound of her cleaning her hiding spot gave away where she was. That made her upset claiming the game was unfair.
Gastly closed his eyes and slowly began to count as he waited for his new friend to hide somewhere. He had counted to ten before he announced that he was coming to find Risa. If anyone could look at his face they know he was really excited about the game. Quickly he began searching behind each and every rock he could see. He even took a moment to check behind Hana.
Neither Charizard or Kero had much time to react to Nero’s attack. By the time the needles were released from her hands and half way towards them, all Kero could do was slightly turn. It ended with most of the niddles sticking themselves into his arm. A few had managed to hit the side of stomach and the rest missed. For a moment all Kero could do was stand there in shock. The last thing he had expected was to be attack by needles.
“S-shit.” Kero finally shouted out when the initial shock had finally worn off. Charizard had watched him only long enough to know he was ok. The large pokemon then turned his head back to Nero, a very angry expression spread across his face. The flame on his tail grew larger, sparkling shades of blue. The best way to anger Charizard the most was to attack or harm his partner. In fact just the site of Kero’s arm, filled with the tiny needles caused Charizard to go into a rage.
Quickly the pokemon stepped in front of his trainer, blocking him with his own body. Chairzards mouth began to heat up, almost looking as if he was about to release a flame. But instead he used Heat Wave, causing the heat to raise around Gavin and Nero. Following the heat wave Charizard sent a Flame Burst towards the two. Kero on the other hand was looking at his arm. For a moment he was going to attempt to pull out some but then changed his mind when he saw the blood tripling down his arm. If he pulled them out without something to cover the wounds then he would end up bleeding everywhere. Perhaps even making it worse. For now he just had to leave them.

Risa giggled and nodded as she waited for him to start counting. Giving it till the count of five she teleported and hid behind Mekura who could only chuckle. Risa held back her giggles as the Gastly checked behind several rocks and even Hana! Togepi would have given her spot away by now. She always loved to hide with Risa though she could hide by herself she refused. Grinning she stayed hidden behind Mekura.
Mekura twitched as she heard the sounds of fighting. So long as they didn't come near her she was fine. From the stance Nero had taken earlier she was sure Nero would be fine if it was her/him fighting. Stretching her legs she rooted through her bag to find a small glass bell. It had been her mothers the only thing she kept with her from before her mother died. Running her fingers over the details she felt where her mothers name had been engraved into it. The bell itself had a very nice chime very musical. She was sure the crafter had spent a long time on it. Wrapping it back up she stuck it into the hiding spot she kept in the bag just for the bell.
Hana glanced at the Gastly when he checked behind her and ended up chuckling. Risa always hid behind Mekura. Half the time it was her best hiding spot. Her ears twitched at the sound of fighting. Getting up she glanced at Mekura then headed back the way they had come to see what had happened. Upon finding the two trainers fighting she wondered who had started it. Seeing the needles in the boys arm she sat and watched. Just wondering if the Nero person would kill the idiotic noble. She definitely couldn't tell Mekura about this. Hana would intervene if someone was close to death. The noble probably needed to learn a valuable lesson.

The mirror defenses took the bulk of the damage from the Heat Wave, yet the Flame Burst seemed to shatter a hole in one, and the Gardevoir found himself caught off guard for half a second taking the burnt of the fire attack and finding a rather harsh pain to say the least of it. However, his pride which possibly exceeded all things good and true in the world as far as this Gardevoir was concerned refused to allow him to show any sort of reaction to the pain other than a sharper narrowing of his eyes even as he mentally cringed in pain. Nero bit the inside of her mouth rather hard at the feeling that she was receiving on her end from the pain Gavin was feeling. The taste of........oh hell.....She'd bit it hard enough to cause bleeding... great....She'd deal with that latter... depending on how this fight actually finished, after all. Sometimes... the psychic connection was hell to say the least of it, yet Nero wouldn't exchange it for anything. Thunderbolt Nero's thoughts rang in Gavin's own mind, and the Gardevoir found himself charging and releasing the electrical attack back at Charizard. Gavin was resisting to say any words to the Charizard and was already resolving to use actions over them at this point. It was a fight, and he was going to go for it. Nero found her fits filling with needles again. However, instead of throwing them, she stood at a sharp attention of sorts and was staring towards Kero who she could only partially see at that point due to the Charizard. "Don't move," she more or less ordered Kero. "It'd only cause muscular shredding which is a lot more painful than what I just used." Her entire being was cold, yet somewhere in the back of her mind, the assassin had no intention of killing. Poor Asa, who was more or less forgotten about not only by his trainer but by this author for a short time as this battle had started, was hiding now behind a rock and more or less trying to hold Raya, who was also sadly forgotten by this author, who was on the brink of tears (though her face was forced into its happy state no matter what she did given her species). The Wynaut kept trying desperately to look up and over the rock towards Nero whom she was afraid for. ;-;............ Suddenly thwak'ing Asa on the head with one of her ears, the Wynaut forced herself up over the rock and was now running towards Nero. In another moment, the small blue creature had wrapped her ears around Nero's leg and was looking rather sad to say the least of it. Nero herself was ignoring the small being that had just appeared for the time being. Asa nearly face/palmed. He was supposed to be strong wasn't he? Heck he was supposed to be the best! Why was he hiding! After a few seconds, the Gothita had forced himself up over the rock as well and was moving towards Nero.

Gastly kept on searching. Getting more and more confused on where the little pokemon could have hidden. He almost thought about checking behind Hana again yet it never seemed to cross his mind to check behind Mekura. As he searched, the sounds of the battle began to get louder, causing him to stop around the same moment that Hana looked up. He recognized one of the loud voices to be Charizard’s. It wasn’t the normal voice of a friendly battle. Charizard sounded rather upset. For a moment Gastly almost thought about going back to his trainer however remembered he was seeking his new friend. So instead he continued to search.
Charizard rage didn’t seem to settle upon seeing his flame burst hit. The only thing keeping Charizard from going out in a full fit of uncontrollable rage was the urge to protect his trainer. It was what kept Charizards mind straight. Or at least somewhat straight. The intense glare towards the two, and the heavy breathing along with the growing flame on his tail showed that it was taking quite a bit of effort not to move. If he moved then he would be leaving Kero defences against Nero. Sure Kero had a sword by his side, but the thing was useless. Kero had no idea how to actually use it and its blade wasn’t even sharp. This Nero person on the other hand had real weapons. It appeared as if she was more than just some village commoner or servant.
Charizard saw the other pokemon quickly charge the thunderbolt. He knew from previous training that the only defence Kero and he had been able to figure out for electric attack was dodging them. But he couldn’t dodge this one even if he may have been fast enough. If he moved he would be revealing Kero to Nero. So instead Charizard stood his ground, taking the attack full on. It hurt. That was obvious by the roar Charizard let out as the electricity went through his body. Kero hadn’t seen the electric attack coming until it had hit Charizard. The body of the large pokemon was blocking his view of Gavin and most of his view of Nero.
Gastly looked towards the direction of the battle, hearing the roar of Charizard that seemed to fill the area. Something was defiantly wrong which meant play time had to come to an end. Gastly loved to goof off and play games but if his trainer was in danger then he would never forgive himself for not helping out. So the pokemon, looking rather panicked, turned to Mekura and began to explain as fast as he could, why he had to leave. After a huge string of words that he wasn’t even sure Mekura would understand Gastly turned and started to float as fast as he could towards the battle.
“Charizard,” Kero spoke softly to his pokemon, “Try aiming a flame thrower at the electric attack next time.” Kero knew his pokemon had moved in order to protect him. It was the only other thing Kero could think of doing in order to help his pokemon. Charizard, and most Charizards in general had very little in defence moves. They mostly relied on speed and strength. Speed that Charizard couldn’t use if he refused to move. “We need to get out of here.” And Kero needed Charizard to calm down. He was afraid of the pokemon going into a dragon rage. Charizard had only ever used the attack once. It was deadly towards its enemies and almost gave Charizard never ending energy. But the after effect was even worse for Charizard. Kero had never wanted such an attack to be used again. If Kero switched Charizards mind to expecting rather than fighting then maybe his anger would settle a bit. It didn’t help hearing Nero’s words however. In fact they only seemed to make Kero anger as well. Her luck in hitting him would run dry the day Kero made sure she ended up with a noose. “Just shut up” “Just shut up” yelled back angrily.
Charizard, still weakened from the electric attack gave a small nod before releasing another Flame burst. This time however, the attack was followed by a smoke screen. It was his attempt to block there view from Kero and his movement. Hopeful the skill would give Kero enough time to hide behind a nearby rock. If Nero attacked again then he would be able to just duck below it. Hopefully... Charizard on the other hand had lifted himself off the ground and was readying himself for another attack.

Hana watched the battle and blinked over the boy's stupidity. He should just keep his mouth shut. From the way Nero was fighting she had done this before. Probably had even killed before. Once glance at the boy and he was definitely pegged as a pure noble. Probably had never killed with his own hands. Stretching she flicked her ears back then forward again wondering how this battle would play out.
Risa bit back another giggle as he continued to search for her. No one ever thinks to look behind Mekura. Suddenly the Gastly raced over and explained he needed to go and why. Repeating to Mekura she walked out of her hiding spot and watched him go. Looking about she noticed Hana was gone too. Well her and Mekura would be ok until the Fox pokemon decided to come back. Stretching she crawled into Mekura's lap and decided to go to take a nap for a few.
Mekura listened to Risa and nodded even as she felt the ghost pokemon leave. So the Noble had been his trainer. Dang. That meant she couldn't catch him. For now it would be best if she stayed here. She would only get in the way if the battle was between the noble and Nero. Cradling Risa in her arms she leaned back and hummed softly to herself and Risa.
Hana tilted her head as the smoke screen took affect. Nero didn't look like she would kill the noble but then again the Noble just seemed to be a bit stupid. Seeing the Gastly hurrying forward she tilted her head then motioned for him to stay away from the battle for now. He would probably only get in the way at this point. Plus she would intervene when it looked like someone was going to die.

Nero was calm and all but frozen in the way of her control at this point. Protect came to mind, and Gavin brought up the shields of energy blocking the flame. The smokescreen that enveloped the field shortly after was something of a "GO" light for Nero, and in half a second, she had started forwards refusing the only thing that was coming to mind when anyone used a smokescreen "Get away". Na- Gavin's words were cut off from Nero's mind as the woman ran through the smoke rather easily. Nero come back! Asa suddenly begged rather shocked and confused. Raya smacked Asa again and suddenly started running through the smoke after Nero. No one was going to hurt her Nero! << >> oh crap... wait...which way did she go?............ As Nero moved, a thought came to mind and was sent back to Gavin who blinked a moment before finally registering it fully. Encore.... keep that dragon distracted a little while.... was all her thoughts stated before she continued to pursue through the smoke. Gavin registered the thought and then slowly brought his hands together in a clap. He began to clap louder and louder as the sound, unfazed by the clouds echoed out into the area. After hearing it a moment, Nero continued her search of sorts.

The little ghost pokemon was just about to jump into the middle of the battle when spotted Hana motion to him. Gastly paused for a moment before deciding to float over to the fox pokemon. It was probably a good thing Hana had stopped him as now realized he would have had a very hard time seeing anything with the smoke screen up. He did see one thing happen that worried him however. Charizard had taken flight and the black haired woman had raced into the smoke. He had expected something was wrong when he had heard Charizards angered cries but he hadn’t been expecting this. Charizard had been ready to send a flamethrower at Gavin the moment he heard the clapping. A strange feeling to use smokescreen again suddenly came across him but deep down he knew that wouldn’t be useful anymore. He ended up struggling with himself to figure out if he was using flamethrower or smokescreen. Kero had made it to the rock feeling a bit safer now. However one thing he didn`t keep in mind was what the black haired woman had said. `Don't move,` He had been careful not to move his arm around too much which made sense, it hurt. But he had forgotten about the few needles that had dug their way into his side. Now his side was pounding with pain causing Kero to cringe a bit in order to keep himself from crying aloud. `` Annoying woman” Kero grumbled to himself between clenched teeth. He turned around to face the battle again just in time to see a shadow of a figure heading his direction through the clearing smoke.

Hana watched Nero race into the smokescreen. That was an interesting move. Though the girl was probably going to finish the boy off. Nudging the Gastly she skirted around the smokescreen following the boys scent to him. He had gotten to a rock. The needles looked like they hurt. Glancing at his sword she realized he must not know how to use it. Well in any case Mekura would never for give her if Nero were to kill a person while Hana was there. Though she did wonder what the boy had said. Upon hearing Gavin start clapping she sweat dropped slightly. That was bound to make things interesting.
Hana hopped onto a rock near the noble and sat down watching. Made her wonder what Nero would do if she saw the fox pokemon. Well she would protect the boy in any case since Nero had those deadly needles. Hana moved a bit closer to the boy and tossed up protect just encase Nero tossed anymore. Looking at the boy she gave him a look that basically said don't-move. If be moved beyond the Protect any needles Nero might throw could hit him.

Gavin seemed to breathe in and then slowly stopped his move before forming another Thunderbolt and releasing it through the smoke. At that point, he was keeping the Charizard at bay rather than trying to beat it.... He was going to give Nero time to do as she wished rather than anything else. Nero... what are you planning? Gavin's thoughts came to the dark haired woman, yet she ignored them then and there. The male Shiny Gardevoir found himself slowly shaking his head and then looking back through the foggy area. Nero stepped through the smoke rather slowly. Needles were pressed tight against the tightness of her knuckles, yet she didn't throw them and simply continued walking through the foggy backdrop of sorts. Upon finally starting to see through the smoke, Nero found herself staring at Hana and then at Kero. Her face was rather flat and calm as her eyes stared at his arm and side. "I told you not to move," she sighed dryly. "You better be careful not to stab your internals, they take forever to heal," she stated stepping forwards only to stop at the Protect field. The dark haired cross dresser put her hand up to the shield and slowly narrowed her eyes before pushing against it with her sheer muscular force. It wasn't enough to move the protect it, but she continued to push anyways.

Kero held his breath for a moment thinking that the figure might be Nero. Much to his surprise it ended up being the Ninetales. If he remembered correctly it was the same one the girl from before had. Kero half expected her to come out of the smoke as well but she didn’t. He was a bit confused about why the Ninetales was there but he didn’t have time to ask question. The fox pokemon had used a protect spell and become clear she going to help him. The only question was, why? “ Tha...” Kero had been about to thank the Ninetales when he noticed another figure emerging from the smoke. This time it had been who he feared it would be the first time. It seemed the man had enclosed the gap between them. Kero’s pale brown eyes had landed Nero’s hand noticing more of the thin needles being grasped tightly. It made a small rock fill his throat as he looked back up at black haired figures face. He heard the words spoken wishing he had some kind of valid threat to send back at Nero. He knew of many but sadly none of them would really mean a thing right now. Giving out meaningless threats was useless and foolish. Instead he just glared at Nero while clenching his teeth in frustration. He watched as Nero pushed against the shield his breaths becoming a bit longer and deeper than before. For a moment his eyes shifted to the fox pokemon almost as if asking her if the shield could be broken if pushed on long enough. They then shifted back to Nero and finally he spoke up, “ Just turn around and walk away!” He shouted out not fully listening to his own words. If he had he may have realized that currently Nero had no reason to walk away. In Kero’s mind she had the upper hand. He really had no idea how well the ninetales could protect him. Gastly, who had attempted to follow Ninetales through the smoke, had just made it close enough to see the black haired man, the Hana and Kero. He had taken a while because he kept getting distracted with the battle raging above and beside him. Now that he had made it out of the smoke a sudden anger crossed the small ghost pokemons spineless body. This person was threatening his trainer. He had already been hurt on top of it all. Without really thinking about what he was doing, Gastly raced towards Nero in attempt to hit him out of frustration. Up in the sky Charizard was finally calming his frustration. It appeared to have been caused by the encore and his want to use another move. A thunderbolt had flashed through the almost cleared smoke towards him but this time, with a bit of luck, he dodged it. Charizard would have normally realized that the pokemon wasn’t trying as hard as he could be, but the rage building inside him was keeping his mind from thinking clearly. Through that rage he sent a fire spin attack towards Gavin.

Hana watched Nero walk forward toward the barrier. Her tail flicked gently. Nero alone couldn't break her protect. Let her push on it all she wanted. Upon hearing the boy talk she glanced over at him and laid a tail over his mouth in a silent bid to shut up. Glancing at the Gastly she sighed. This was entirely pointless. This boy needed to learn self-control. <Gastly! Halt. You'll only make things worse.> She spoke up in pokemon as she looked over at the Charizard. He needed to calm down and think rationally.
Risa would be very useful at this moment. Projecting her thoughts out she tried to get the Psychic to hear her. Risa could translate. With in minutes the Shiny Ralts with the hat still on her head appeared near Hana and looked about taking in the Scene. Spotting Nero she waved slightly and glanced at the noble. Of course she instantly knew all this was his fault. Projecting her thoughts to the boy she tried to get him to understand. ("Calm down and be quiet. Nero has clearly killed before and you haven't. At least not with your own hands.") Looking at Nero she put her hands on her hips.
("I thought we were older then that. Losing your control like that. A pokemon battle would have done just as well.") Risa was using that firm no non-sense tone she had learned from Mekura though it never worked on her friend. Glancing up at the Charizard she wonder if he knew calm mind. Probably not. It would help at this point. Ah she had left Mekura alone near the rock to come help Hana. Smacking her forehead she teleported away and back to Mekura's lap. Slowly she explained to Mekura where she had gone.

"Just turn around and walk away!” Nero ignored the words that were breathed out into the air and instead seemed to push a bit harder feeling her muscles tighten as she shoved at the wall. Suddenly she felt the entire thing slide a fraction. The dark haired woman shoved it once more and cringed as she started to push at it more and more...slide...slide....push it....come on....... Suddenly a Gastly was rushing at Nero, and as her eye slid sideways, the dark haired woman seemed to tense for a few second. However, in another moment, Raya had jumped upwards and taken the blow. The Wynaut cried out in pain before standing in front of Nero. Raya said nothing but just stared afterwords. What would have been projected from Risa's thoughts and into Nero's head hit a rather sharp wall that had been formed around the dark haired woman's mind. She had psychic pokemon... she knew psychic pokemon....she knew how to block out psychic pokemon, and at that point, that was just what Nero Ishi was doing. Raya heard it but was too busy staring down a Gastly to bother responding to it at that point. Gavin released yet another Thunderbolt through the smoke more or less attacking any sort of motion he saw at this point. His job was in his mind, and that was all he was worrying about at that point.

Kero shut his mouth the moment Hana set her tail on his lips. However his pale eyes still glared up at Nero watching her intensely as she continued to push on the shield. He had no idea what she had in mind after if she managed to break through and to be honest, he didn’t want to know. Gastly had heard Hana’s voice but it was too late. He was already in full motion and before he could stop he had collided with... a Wynaut? The hit caused him to fall backwards almost hitting the ground. However his levitation caught him. Now he just sat there looking rather disappointed. He wanted to help his trainer because... well... he liked Kero. The young man had taken care of him for years now. But he also didn’t want to make things worse than they already were. The whole ordeal just made Gastly sad. Kero had still been glaring up at Nero when the sound of Risa’s voice filled his mind. It had shocked him but he listed to her wards. She was right. Nero knew exactly what she was doing while he was cowering behind a rock and protective wall. He was... failing. What sort of man would become a leader if he couldn’t even protect himself? He was weak. Foolish. Pethitic. Nero was the very type of person Kero had wanted to remove from the world or enslave yet he couldn’t beat her. He just wasn’t strong enough yet. Someday... if he made it out alive today... he would change this weakness. He would turn it around so that if this scenario ever occurred again he would come out victorious hands down. For now all he could do was hang his head in shame. He had lost to a low life. He had no right to hold his head up high. Charizard had sadly fallen into a blind rage. Something that was hard even for a well trained Dragonite to snap out of. He was breathing flamethrowers left and right in anger, some aiming for Gavin and some completely missing. It was a good thing most of the land in the area was rock or the entire place would have been up in flames by now. There was about three ways to stop the rage. Knock him out, calm him with something soothing, or simply allow him to run out of energy. Sadly all three ways were not easily done in this state. In fact two of the three ways would most likely end up hurting him in one way or another. Kero who had been sitting there in self pity could hear Charizards anger. Sadly he wasn’t sure what he could do to try and calm the anger inside his Charizard. It wasn’t until he looked at the only remaining pokeball on belt. Finally he could at least do one thing right. While Nero was distracted Kero slowly picked up his pokeball and lifted it to his lips. “ I need you to calm Charizard with Heal Bell, if it doesn’t work, put him to sleep.” He whispered into the pokeball before clicking the button. The tiny blue bird pokemon appeared and flew up into the air. She hadn’t even stopped to look at Kero, Hana, Nero or any of the other pokemon. She knew her job and she was going to try her best. Heal bell was meant for curing major status effects but the sound the attack made was very soothing. It was at least worth a try. First however, she needed to get close enough to the raging Charizard without getting hit by either the flamethrowers or thunderbolts.

Hana's eyes glanced at the noble and watched his expression over Risa's words. At least he knew he was beat. Upon feeling her barrier slide she reinforced it with another protect and pushed back at Nero. Unless the girl had something worth it she was not getting in this barrier. Her eyes watched the hand that had the needles. The Gastly's momentum had apparently been stopped by the wynaut. Well at least it hadn't hit Nero.
Glancing back at the boy she looked over his arm and side. Mekura could help him but they had to get him to her before they could do anything. Standing up on the rock she jumped down and landed in front of the boy and looked at Nero from behind the barrier. Her look was basically wondering what Nero planned to do. She herself couldn't get into the barrier and the Gastly most likely wouldn't let the wynaut try to break the Protect. Sighing she wondered how long this struggle would last. She hated being away from Mekura for long.

Raya continued to stare at the Gastly as though simply waiting to see if he would attack or not. If so... she'd retaliate given her nature as a pokemon. Asa was unsure of what to do but pretty much waited as well. This... << >> whole thing was still confusing to him.... Oh well..... As the barrier pushed back on her arm, Nero felt the muscle in her form twitch. However, in another second, she locked her legs into a stance and pushed once more as hard as she could on the Protect. Stupid being was the only thing that went through her mind, and in this mass confusion, a pokeball exploded from her pocket as a Metagross took form next to the girl that was all but close to raging. The large metallic creature seemed to stare through the smoke with sharp eyes and then turned to stare at the Ninetails before finally looking down at Nero who hadn't even bothered to look up when Meteor had released himself. The dark haired woman was simply pushing again as hard as she could on the shield. Damn, she wished she had psychic powers... full one...... In half a second, Meteor raised up one arm and effectively stopped Nero's movement. The dark haired woman effectively froze in that moment. Enough, Nero..... Meteor's thoughts were directed only to Nero, and she heard them clear enough that they could have been her own thoughts at that point in time. This has nothing to do with work, and any more may cause you to crumble...... he continued projecting the thoughts, and slowly, Nero cooled form her rather odd placed emotions. In another second, Nero shot a rather sharp look at Kero. However, after that she turned around completely and started to walk away as though nothing had happened the needles were still clasped tightly between her knuckles. At least... she was no longer advancing...... The Metagross breathed out calmly and stared towards Hana and the young man whom she appeared to be protecting. From Nero's thoughts, he understood that this man had shot off quite a lot of words, yet it was for Nero's own sake that Meteor had stopped her. Meteor had his reasons, and Nero knew them as well as he did. Miss Ninetails..... the Metagross projected his thoughts silently through the fiend more or less simply registering outwards that she was there. In another moment, he turned and started to follow Nero if slower and more elongated in stride. Asa blinked confused as to what exactly had just happened. He had not heard Meteor's psychic thoughts and had no idea what had caused Nero to stop so suddenly. Raya, on the other hand, seemed to take in some sort of knowledge of the sorts from her surroundings and understood what it meant....ah... good then....... With that, the Wynaut started after her trainer and the other pokemon. Asa blinked for a moment before looking at the shield and then starting to edge away from it before running to catch up with everyone else. Gavin had succumbed to something of a sharp deep running energy to which he simply kept shooting off electricity repeatedly even when it was exhausting his form rather quickly. He didn't even seem to register that Nero and Meteor were walking back through the smoke. However, in another second, he found a hand on his shoulder, and the male Gardevoir froze nearly as instantly as his trainer had only a minute ago. We're going was all Nero's thoughts projected to Gavin to which the male Gardevoir slowly relaxed and then looked back through the smoke for a few seconds. Drawing up a Protect around the girl and the pokemon, he slowly started to walk as well.

Kero’s attention was taken away from Swablu when Hana jumped off the rock. His eyes fell on her for a moment before looking back up at Nero. The woman had once again begun pushing on the shield. Would she ever give up? It looked as if the Ninetails wasn’t sure either, but that was only his guess. A flash of light released around Nero and yet another one of her pokemon appeared. He hadn’t seen Nero release the pokemon which made him wonder why it had come out. Did the Metagross plan of helping her get through the shield? Kero felt his muscles tighten as he half expected the pokemon to help the black haired man. But then... nothing happened. To Kero, it looked as if the pokemon was just standing there. Then, without a word Nero shot a sharp look at him, his pale brown eyes locking with hers for a moment before she turned and began to walk away. He assumed it was a warning to let Nero leave without a hassle or remark from Kero. Metagross and the two smaller pokemon had turned away Kero’s eyes went back up to Charizard and Swablu. The poor tiny bird pokemon hadn’t been able to get close enough to the raging Charizard in order to use her Heal Bell. With the amount of fire and electric attacks filling the air at random it was just too much for her. Kero clenched his good hand as he watched hoping something would happen to give her a chance to get close enough to Charizard. Then that chance came. The electric attacks stopped. Swablu didn’t waste any time to get to Charizard, her Heal Bell filling the air with soothing ring. Charizard had just about been ready to shot another Flamethrower at Gavin when he heard the sound and stopped. With an angry growl he turned to Swablu and almost looked as if he was going to attack her. Luckily, despite her fear, Swablu continued to use her Heal Bell. Charizards expression finally began to grow from angry to calm. Kero half believed that it wasn’t just because Swablu had used the soothing attack but because it was Swablu. Charizard had always been a bit protective of her and hopefully seeing her calmed him as well. Now calm once again Charizard turned his head and looked down at Nero and the leaving pokemon. If they were leaving then there was no need for Charizard to fight anymore. He could finally rest which his body was clearly telling him he needed to. Slowly he and Swablu flew back down to Kero. Upon landing Charizard looked down at Kero who in return looked up at Charizard. For a moment they just looked at each other and Kero nodded. Returning the nod a light appeared and Charizard put himself back into his pokeball. He hadn’t been inside a pokeball for over a year but right now he needed the rest. He had pushed himself too far. If he could rest for a little bit then perhaps he would have enough energy to take Kero home in an hour or two. Otherwise, Kero would be stuck setting up camp. There was no way he would be able to climb the rock walls with the injuries he had received. “ Thank you,” Kero finally spoke up turning his attention to Hana, “I owe you mu life.” He didn’t say anything more than that. He had figured he had said enough as it was. This pokemon had just saved his life despite the way he had treated her trainer. Hana could have very easily stayed out of the entire fight and allowed Nero to advance. He was now greatly in her det. Kero hated owing anyone anything and normally thrived on avoiding owing anyone anything. It was too late now though. Kero owed Hana and her trainer his life. He would have to make up for that somehow. Slowly Kero stood up, wincing as he did. The pain in both his arm and side was extremely hard to tolerate. Normall he was good at hiding his pain and just simply dealing with it but these things... They were made to cause pain and clearly did a very good job at doing just that. Gastly quickly floated up to his trainer as he saw Kero wince. “ Gassssly” He spoken looking rather worried about Kero. He suggested that Kero go and see the nice lady he had met before coming back here. Swablu chirped in agreement to this and flew up to sit on Kero’s good shoulder. Kero hadn’t understood anything either of the two pokemon had said but he had feeling he knew anyway. His eyes drifted back to the Ninetails for a moment before dropping to the ground. He turned and began to follow Gastly as the pokemon hurried to take him to Mekura. Truth was, Kero really didn’t want to see the girl or get help from her. However, he knew he didn’t have the right equipment to repair the damage properly. Most likely he would cause more damage by trying. He supposed this was just more punishment he would have to deal with for failing. If he had of been stronger than this whole thing would have been turned around. It was clear to him that he was no were near his goals. No were near becoming the tyrant he thrived to become someday. It was people like Nero he wished to wipe Era of yet he couldn’t stand up to even one of them. Gastly quickly floated over to Mekura when spotted her in the distance. He didn’t waste any time blurting out the entire story and how his trainer needed help. He didn’t even realize that Rika had probably already told her what had happened. Kero on the other had simply stopped a few feet away, his head hanging low in shame. There was blood running steadily down his arm from being moved too much. It had soaked through the fabric of his sleeve and also through that fabric on his side. He already owed Hana his life and now he would owe this girl for helping him as well. That is... if she would. “ I...” Kero gave a small bow repressing the pain it caused, “ I am desperate need of your assistance if... if you would be willing to forgive me for being un doubtfully rude to you earlier.” He knew to ask for forgiveness, the issue was, he didn’t truly believe he needed to be asking. However, growing up he had been taught that if he wanted or needed help from someone else and he angered them... well he would have to suck up his pride and admit to being wrong even if he felt he hadn’t been. He would simply have to endure the embarrassment of putting a commoner onto the same level as himself.

Hana pressed back against Nero not allowing her to enter. She was pretty sure this was not how the woman usually acted. Not that she would probably regret it but she would definitely have wondered. Suddenly a metagross appeared. In a few moments she Nero had stopped while looking sharply up at her pokemon. When both started to walk away she kept her sheild up and waited for the lightening to stop. When it did she lowered her protect before looking calmly at the boy. The needles looked painful. Well it did serve him right for angering someone he knew nothing about.
Nodding her head she walked forward only looking back to see if he would follow. He needed help and he was in no condition to refuse it. After a little prodding from his pokemon she continued forward to Mekura. Hopefully she hadn't tried anything while she was protecting the boy. Of course Risa would have encouraged her to do something. Upon coming across the spot she had left Mekura she discovered the girl was gone. The boy and his pokemon she a little ways behind her. Sighing she called out for her trainer who appeared from a spot along the walls.
Mekura slipped out of the Cave they had decided to make camp in. The sun was already low in the sky from what Risa had said. Suddenly she was bombard with a story from the Gastly. She listened intently just as she had from Risa while Risa Translated in her head. "Well I guess we'll just have to treat him then." Patting the Gastly she wondered closer to where she could feel the pain coming from. Stopping a few feet away she listened to his apology and arched an eyebrow. Her gaze seeming to look straight through him instead of at him like a normal person.
Risa walked over to her trainer the hat still on her head keeping anyone from guessing she was a shiny. This was interesting. The meaning Head was apologizing. She grinned then skipped off to get the supplies out of the bag. Mekura looked over her shoulder in the direction of Risa then back in the direction of the boy. "Well hopefully you have learned your lesson about insulting people you hardly know. Especially since your a noble." Pointing to a rock she wanted him to sit while she took the supplies from Risa. "Thanks Risa. Kero is it? I'm going to have to cut your shirt off the side you injured. Risa could you fetch me one of the water bottles please."
Risa nodded the hat bobbing on her head before she raced into the cave to get the water. The water would go to washing his wounds and re-hydrating him. Humming she grabbed two water bottles out of the bag and went over to Mekura who was sorting the bandages out.

Gastly seemed a little over excited when Mekura had agreed to treat Kero. Enough so that he did a few of his flips in the air and grinned. Most of the time Gastly didn’t see the stubborn, selfish, rude young man in Kero. Kero had been all three around Gastly but the pokemon never seemed to look at the outside of people. He liked the inside of Kero. The strength, the goals and the will power to move forward. He truly did care about Era and its people. His way of treating and going about things were just a bit... off. In Gastly’s mind that just didn’t matter. After all, everyone had flaws. ‘ Here it comes... Kero’s mind complained to himself as Mekura’s lecture began. He knew it would be coming the moment he had finished speaking. Luckily it had been much shorter then he had expected. Though it bothered him... why would it matter if he were a noble or not? Didn’t psycho men like Nero (Though he never did learn her name) kill just about anyone? Or was it truly more dangerous for the nobles over the commoners? Kero had always believed it was just a different kind of danger. For a commoner the attackers might just kill them because they were nothing of value, or leave them because... well they were of no value. A noble on the other hand could be killed because it would get them out of the way or simply kept alive due to their value. Then again... Now that he thought about it... The second option for the nobles seemed just as unpleasant as the first. For the commoners... not so much. Kero said nothing to Mekura’s words and instead quietly sat where she had pointed. He supposed the girl was right. He had, at least for the moment, learned to keep his mouth shut. After all he didn’t want to risk saying something to push Mekura away from helping him. Though there was one thing he was dying to comment on and that was her eyes. Something was off about them but he hadn’t figured out what yet. It was very hard not to ask but he figured that would cross the line of being rude again. “ I guess... it’s a good thing we are in the desert.” Kero commented with a small laugh before the smile disappeared again. He hadn’t brought any extra shirts with him. After all, he hadn’t been expecting to cut off the one was currently wearing. After he had sat down he used his good hand to unbuckle the red cap around his neck. It fell to the ground behind him and he proceeded to remove his gloves from his hands so that she would have no problem getting to the shirt. Though just the small amount of movement hurt a lot. “ Who... who was that man?” Kero suddenly asked, unable to keep it in any longer. Swablu had flown off his shoulder the moment he went to remove the cape. Her tiny feet landed on a nearby rock, away from everyone else. She a was a bit shy around others

Mekura could feel him thinking as she moved over to him and knelled by the side that was injured. Taking the first water bottle from Risa she uncapped it and poured the water over the wounds clearing it of most of the blood. Taking the Scissors from Risa she cut around where the needles were and carefully but quickly pulled the cloth away. Mekura's fingers ran lightly over the needles plucking them out leaving a small stinging behind. Once they were out of his arm she took the small cloth from Risa and dabbed lightly over the wounds with the anti biotic cream.
Picking up some ace bandages she wrapped them around his arm securely. At his attempt at humor she smile slightly before it disappeared again. She was better around pokemon. Moving to his side she repeated the process before she stood and pulled the rest of his ruined shirt. When that was done she used the next Ace bandage and wrapped it evenly around his side. Taping it off she gathered everything and took it back to her bag in the cave she had found. Coming back out she took the final water bottle from Risa and handed it to Kero.
Hearing his question she shrugged. "His or her name is Nero and Apparently Nero is a professional assassin. Thats all I know." Pulling out some Pokefood from her pocket she wondered over to the Swablu and crouched down a few feet from her. Holding out her hand she tried to Coax the Bird Pokemon closer. Hana looked around and stretched before hopping up on her rock she had claimed to soak up what was left of the sun. Soon it would begin to get Chilly since it was the dessert.
"Oh My names Mekura by the way." If he had any education at all he would realize her name meant blindness. Of course she was sure he probably didn't know that much considering from Hana's side of the story he didn't even know how to use a sword. Risa looked at the boy then wondered off to see if maybe Kaiyou was awake. As if thinking about her the ball holding the Togepi game a wiggled and released the baby pokemon. Squeaking she ran out of the cave and Straight to Mekura babbling at her in her baby language. Spotting the Swablu she squealed and toddled over reach up wanted to play with the Swablu.

Kero found himself setting his head into the palm of his hand and his lip being bitten down on while Mekura worked on cleaning and removing the needles. He wasn’t quite sure why biting his bottom lip helped his pain, it just did. In all honestly biting his lip should have added to the pain. Human’s never made a lot of sense all the time. When the arm was finally needle free and the bandages were in place, Kero relaxed a bit. The arm still hurt but at least there wasn’t anything sticking out of it anymore. Of course he had forgotten about needing the needles out of his side. It hadn’t taken long for him to tense up again as Mekura started work on removing them as well. When she had finally finished he looked up at her and said “ Thank you” before taking the bottled water she handed him. “ Nero... Kero repeated the name his eyes looking to the ground as he went into thought. It would be the name he would make sure was plastered on every wall in every town and city in this area. He may have lost that fight but he prove he could at least sting back in one way or another. This Nero wouldn’t be able to show their face without a hassle from now on. Swablu had seen the food Mekura had offered her and almost thought about slipping closer to grab a few. However, the tiny thing was rather stubborn and instead stayed put. She didn’t like meeting new people very often even if Mekura seemed rather nice. Perhaps after watching the girl for a bit Swablu would change her mind and introduce herself. Gastly was following Risa around everywhere she went. He had no reason he why. He just felt like it. Though he did take a few moments every now and then to stop and lick something they passed. He had a habit of doing that. There was no real reason for that either. He just simply liked tasting things. “ Mekura... does that mean you’re... Never mind.” Kero had never learned how to use a sword, nor did he have much experience out in the world alone. He had been sheltered all his life due to his father. Mostly it was because the man had feared the same fate for Kero as his mother’s. Now that the man was also gone Kero was free to explore all he wanted. Sadly his only outer world skills were all book smarts. All his life he had been studying hard. He had never known that being book smart wasn’t enough but he was sure he would learn the rest in time. One thing being book smart was good for is that he knew the meaning to name Mekura... but then the question was, did the name actually mean she was blind or had her parents just simply liked it? Now that he thought about, her movements were a bit off compared to most people. However she had been able to help him well enough. Her eyes were a bit wired... But if she was born without site then she would be able to adapt rather well.
