Aidith thought she heard something and turned around, studying the mist behind her trainer, merely curious.
Vengeance looked at the Drifloon with a blank expression on her face and smiled slightly, waving at the Drifloon. "Well now...this is...interesting..."[/i]she thought as she watched the Drifloon.

...Hrm. While the woman was nice, as the Drifloon approached, he caught sight of her Meguroco and changed course. <'Well hello there gorgeous~'> he said to her, thankful that this one could at least understand what he was saying.
He honestly couldn't tell whether the sand-gator was male or female. But then their parts wouldn't really be compatible anyway, so...what's the trouble~?

Vengeance smiled in annoyance as the Drifloon turned her attention to Aidith and sighed.
Aidith didn't even glance up at the Drifloon as she studied the mist before flicking dirt at the Drifloon with her tail. Not to say she wasn't interested...but there were more important things on the Meguroko's mind at the moment, one being what exactly was in the mist...

The shadow, barely visible but definitely with range to make a definite shape of sorts, felt she'd come to close...and there seemed to be another Pokemon there anyways. She couldn't feel the woman's emotions at all, even from this proximity...
She was highly intrigued, but she could wait. She could wait...
The shadow fell back, deeper into the mist.
Meanwhile, the Drifloon was blissfully unaware of the large shadow who also took interest in these travelers. He was also undeterred by Aidith's lack of response. <'The silent type, are we then? I can do that~'> He fell a bit further, so he was floating maybe an inch above the ground, his little legs brought to his sides so they didn't drag. Upon seeing the fearsome mouth up close, he commented, <'My, what beautiful white teeth you have, darling~'> ...Was that a reference? It may have been and it may not. The fact that it came from a children's story, and what Drifloon were known to do--well, the fact that the Drifloon would know the source material wasn't far fetched.

Vengeance watched the interaction with the Drifloon and Aidith, glad that whatever had caught Aidith's eye was far more interesting than the obvious flirting of the Drifloon.
Aidith was growing increasingly irritated with the Drifloon and wondered why he wouldn't shut up already and let her concentrate just when she finally spotted the outline of a Pokemon. Moving away from him and deeper into the mist, the Meguroko thought she caught a sign of movement and followed, her curiousity peaked even as her mind raced in an attempt to figure out a way to flush out what now appeared to be a mysterious Pokemon.
Vengeance watched as Aidith blantantly ignored the Drifloon and walk away with interest and wondered what had caught the Meguroko's eye. She was about to follow when she looked at the Drifloon and stopped herself, no, she would wait. "If you like her so much you could come with me...then you could talk to her...and many other Pokemon at my home..."she said in a monotone voice, pulling out a pokeball as she spoke. The last part had been an afterthought, but if it made him come with her...so much the better.

Mm, many more Pokemon, hnn? This would mean no more little children to play with...but he never succeeded in taking any of those home anyway...
Pokemon, however, tended to be much easier. While that gator didn't seem to like him, if there were several Pokemon in one place--oh man. He got a little bit out here, but it had gotten old somewhat quickly, with all of the gloomy and sadistic-tending Pokemon out here. But there--there--his mind reeled with the possibilities.
He took the Pokeball from her with his two little yellow feet, and caressed it--almost, ah...fondled it--until one foot pressed the button, and in he went.
SOHEY GUESS WHO'S GOT ANOTHER POKEMON
Name: Species: Drifloon Gender: Male Ability: Heat Rampage Personality: He's a lover, all right~ He loves to have good times with anyone, be they male or female, in his mating pool or not, Pokemon or human, young or old. He tends to lean more towards Pokemon than humans, as they can actually understand his sweet, sweet nothings.
In the mist, the Ghost felt the small life force coming towards her, the trained Pokemon. It seemed eager, and as it seemed to be heading more or less for her, its intent was fairly obvious. ...It wasn't nearly to the end of its life, so she had no issue with it, specifically. She was not waiting here for a fight, so to avoid the smaller Pokemon, she floated a bit more back, and more importantly, upwards. Not very far upwards, but the six or seven feet that now lay between her and the ground should be plenty to avoid most anything from the Pokemon aside from a full-fledged attack.

Vengeance smiled in annoyance as she watched the Drifloon pet the pokeball before vanishing inside. Picking up the pokeball, she placed it in her bag before following after Aidith. Whatever had grabbed the Meguroko's attention would be interesting especially considering Aidith rarely ever took off without her.
Aidith stopped and closed her eyes suddenly realizing just how foolish she was being. Chasing after the Pokemon wouldn't do anything but scare it away. No...best to wait until Vengeance found her again and then keep an eye out for the mysterious Pokemon.

As the shadow moved upward, she passed through a Hoothoot. The owl, rightly quite startled, took off from his branch, and flew away. He almost ran into Vengeance's head on the way, but narrowly avoided collision.
As her subject approached, the shadow decided...maybe she'd stay where she was. If she was seen, so be it.
Meanwhile, a Chingling came from somewhere, and wondered what the gator Pokemon was doing on his hidden berry stash. The Megaroco didn't seem to smell the berries, so...?

Vengeance swore under her breath as the Hoothoot nearly hit her in the head but decided not to bother with it. Going further into the mist, she trained her eye on the ground where Aidith's trail was evident, thinking that the Megaroco couldn't have gotten that far and there was something that had frightened that Hoothoot...
Aidith looked at the Chingling for a brief moment before looking back the way she'd came. The shadow she'd been chasing seemed to have disappeared. Hearing footsteps coming her direction, she said her name loud enough so that whoever was approaching could hear her but not loud enough to startle any nearby Pokemon.
Vengeance heard Aidith's call and found her soon enough, walking over to where the Megaroco was. "Aidith...did you see a Hoothoot come flying past here..."
Aidith nodded her head and looked up in the branches where she'd seen the Hoothoot come from and wait...what was that...? Narrowing her eyes, Aidith looked up at the very same shadow that she had chased into the mist. By the looks of it the shadow wasn't going to attack anytime soon so Aidith simply used Mean Look to make sure that the Pokemon wouldn't go away again.
Seeing Aidith look up and freeze, Vengeance looked up as well and saw...something in the trees but couldn't quite make it out.

While personality-wise, the ghost wasn't affected by the glare, but... well, something about the look just physically wouldn't let her move back, even if she'd wanted.
Meh. She may's well actually greet this woman, now that she couldn't leave. She descended once again, and at this proximity it was quite visible that the shadow was a Dusknoir. She tilted her head and waved her head in a sort of bow.

Vengeance looked at the Dusknoir and nodded in return, pleased that Aidith had found the Dusknoir in the mist. "Hello..."she said in a monotone voice,"Were you...following us..."
Aidith looked at the Dusknoir with a calculating expression, it didn't seem that she was going to attack but this could be a scheme to make her comfortable, Aidith had done it before after all and wouldn't put it past the Dusknoir either.

The Dusknoir nodded at the question. She edged forward a little closer, and a few tendrils of...something dark and ghostly...came up to feel the air around Vengeance. Despite looking rather sinister indeed, the Dusknoir was still just curious, and trying to figure out why this human seemed not only so unafraid, but so...emotionless in general.

Vengeance didn't even flinch, much less move when the Dusknoir approached her. She just waited patiently, looking at the Dusknoir through expressionless eyes. "I see...did you want to come with us then..."she asked in a monotone voice.
Aideth eyed the Dusknoir through wary eyes, ready to attack should she show any signs of aggression.

...Hmm. The Dusknoir withdrew her tendrils, and sat--rather, floated--in thought for some moments. She wasn't doing much here, and she hadn't seen any human she'd ever specifically WANTED to go with; but this one--she could study this one, find out what made her so.
The ghost nodded, and without waiting for the Trainer to do anything, used one of her dark tendrils to retrieve the Pokeball herself.
OMG AWESOMESAAAUCE<3.
Name: Species: Dusknoir Gender: Female Ability: Pressure Personality: This Dusknoir is very calm, and very patient. She doesn't have the malice many other Ghost types do, though she has collected her share of dead Pokemon's souls. Unlike some other Dusknoir, she wouldn't dream of killing these Pokemon herself, though. Instead, she likes to learn, and study. She's intrigued by oddities, such as Vengeance's apparent lack of emotion. She's cautious and will avoid battle if she can.

Vengeance was a little surprised when the Dusknoir pulled out the pokeball on her own but this quickly passed as she caught the pokeball before it fell to the ground and replaced it in her bag. Looking down at Aidith, she motioned for her to follow and started walking back the way she'd come.
Aidith sighed when the Dusknoir was caught and dutifully followed Vengeance, still keeping an eye out for anything that might be of interest.

A Murkrow cawed overhead, not terribly far from where they were if the loudness of the noise was to be trusted. The Chingling from earlier appeared again, but rather than do anything, he waited patiently for the Meguroco to get off of his berry-mound.
As Ven continued forward, something started to smell just a tad, and he mist around her took on a purplish tint.

Vengeance didn't seem interested in the the Chingling, nor did she react to the increasingly bad smell although Vengeance had started to walk just a little faster to get out of the stench. Pulling out two more pokeballs, she released the Pichu twins Amelia and Ethan.
Blinking at being released, Amelia and Ethan looked around, not sure what was going on when they smelled something terrible. With a small cry of disgust, Amelia covered her nose and looked up at Vengeance, wondering what was going on. Ethan seemed to try to brave the stench and looked around before noticing a Murkrow not too far off. Maybe that's what they were out for...? Poking his sister in the arm, he nodded to the Murkrow and smiled, Amelia seemed to know what was going on and used Helping Hand. Ethan nodded in encouragement and released a Thunderbolt aimed at the Murkrow.
Aidith sneezed when she caught a wiff of the foul odor and looked around, wondering what was causing the smell. Seeing the Pichu twins out, she sighed and shook her head. Just what she needed...to look after the babies on top of finding the culprit...

The Murkrow was hit by the Thunderbolt and fell back startled to say the least of it all. Getting up carefully and then using a Night Shade, the dark bird retaliated. The smell only seemed to grow worse. However, a light laughing could then be heard. What in the world?

Amelia's eyes grew wide when she saw the Night Shade and used Protect, covering her and her brother as well, wincing ever so slightly when she saw the attack come closer despite the knowledge she knew she was safe. Ethan glared at the Murkrow, how dare he make his sister upset! Powering up a Shock Wave, he unleashed it at the bird only to utter a surprised squeak as he shocked himself after unleashing the powerful attack.
Aidith smiled, nodding approvingly at the Pichu twins, it seemed they could handle themselves after all...sneezing again at the stench, Aidith followed the laughing, determined to know what was causing the horrible smell.
Vengeance watched the battle with Murkrow silently, ready to give commands should the need arise.

The Murkrow was shocked again and cried before falling backwards in pain. Suddenly a large purple mass came hurtling straight towards the Pichu twins. It looked like... a Sludge Bomb? Not far off, a Gastly appeared and was laughing extremely hard as though it was some sort of obvious prank of sorts.
