Something in his stomach was shifting as well, but for all these things he tried to focus on, Jack couldn't get his mind off his own feelings. The world was crumbling around him, and he had nearly died again. Was there really only so much he could take of this? There was. The few voices that had kept reason in him had crumbled, and the one that was left had escaped for the moment leaving nothing but raw emotions and lesser voices more akin to white noise than actual predominant thought. It hurt. It just flat out hurt, and there was nothing he could do about it.
Sometime in the ten minutes or so after he had started, Jack's mind slowly began to escape his body completely, and consciousness finally broke into unconsciousness. Eyes glazed over with tears before finally shutting, and Jack slowly fell asleep again if only to escape his circumstances. Down he fell into the darkness that was his own mind- a suffocating security that assured him he could stay there for as long as he wanted until something changed.
The screens and various machines on Jack's circuit slowed considerably even his heart thereafter. Though he could easily have been asleep, something that even the doctors would have been fooled by at least initially, Jack had sunk himself into a coma after that.

Jayme watched as Justice took the towel and wrapped up her long hair. For a few seconds he found himself staring until Miguel's words hit his ears causing him to look sideways. Before he could answer, though, Feliciano spoke up. "I ordered some food earlier... it should be coming soon," the blond sighed deeply through his knees as he continued to sit there in his curled up position. Whatever Jayme had been about to say was suddenly lost in the pink haired boy and he hesitated stuck between looking between Felis and Miguel. After a moment, the pink haired boy sighed outwards and stretched his arms forwards. "Then I guess we can just wait for that to come then..." he murmured wondering if anyone was going to add anything to that. Feliciano certainly didn't say anymore.
Haiiro blinked at Elayne's words but nodded after that. "I''m not going anywhere..." he replied giving a brief nod before looking down towards the sheets. There was no way he was going to leave her alone even when she did rest...

Biting back words that threatened to spill out from the rush of voices that had become very active in his head in the last few seconds, he kept his eyes averted up until he felt the kiss on the cheek. Though he wanted to hold back the gate of water threatening him, Jack felt the tears spill down the sides of his cheeks regardless. Damn it he was supposed to be the one that was comforting her! This didn't look good at all. What was he doing? Why was he doing it? Why couldn't he just stop right now? Though his mind willed him to cease, Jack couldn't, and instead a choking sound of sorts escaped from the purple haired man causing the meter on his heart monitor to shift upwards and downwards rapidly.

Justice's comment earned a flash of crimson on Jayme's face. Oh... He... hadn't meant to say something that was..er...uhm... Well he didn't even know why she said that it wasn't a good time especially since he had explained what he himself wanted to do. However, Jayme simply nodded and dropped the subject. As they entered, the chill that came with the room and the wetness of his hair and clothes caused Jay to shiver briefly. Reaching up, he rubbed at his sleeves but didn't say anything and continued to follow Justice to the other side of the room.
As Justice began to ring out her hair, Jayme realized just how much Justice had. It was all... rather pretty and...Miguel's voice quickly brought Jayme back, and his head turned to look towards the man. A brief nod was given, and for a brief moment something more somber flashed across Jayme's face for a moment.
Meanwhile the receptionist looked disdainfully at the motions of the girl who may as well have been soaking the floor as she saw it. Feeling the eye of someone staring in his general direction, Jayme looked towards the receptionist and offered a weak smile before getting up to ask what was wrong. The woman behind the desk just pulled a towel from under the desk and offered it forwards to him. Upon realizing what she meant, a nervous laugh escaped Jayme before he nodded and took the towel back holding it out to Justice. "Here," he offered quietly.
Felis sucked in a deep amount of air at Miguel's words and looked up at him. That was what he wanted to hear so much even if it didn't feel like it would be ok. He wanted some sort of reassurance.... even if he was falsely reassured. He wanted it to be ok... he just... just wanted everything to go back to the way it was earlier this morning when everything was fine. He doubted that would happen though... he doubted it... and yet somehow, Miguel's reassurance... was at least a bit comforting. Drawing up his knees to himself and wrapping his arms around them, Feliciano breathed inwards deeply and exhaled just as deeply.
Haiiro just gave another nod at Elayne's words trying his best to be reassuring on the matter. The thanks that was given caused a soft sigh to escape the dark haired man, and he nodded once more. "Welcome..." was the murmured reply before Haiiro shifted briefly into a position a bit more comfortable. He could tell by Elayne's expression that she was tired, but he didn't want to leave. He didn't want to step out of the room even for a second least some monster decide to come in. "You... can rest if you want...you probably need it..." he murmured after another moment.

From what she remembered of the Orre, Agate was one of the more peaceful places as opposed to... everywhere else. It was also one of the closest places to Era on the Orre map... or was she getting it backwards? No she was sure that was right; she just hadn't been down there in a long time.
The moving explanation caused a look of interest for a moment though Teme couldn't quite figure how to ask any further considering Van herself said she didn't know exactly why. Maybe it was just for economical reasons, yet that was silly since Era was arguably more unstable than the Orre at the moment.. which honestly made it more fun and more of a challenge, heh. A slow smile graced Temera's lips as Vanessa explained that she was never bored in Era and seemed to have at least some positivity about this place. "Yeah I like it here too; always stuff to do and whatnot," she grinned even more. It seemed that Van had managed to find something good to talk about, indeed.
"Lots of places to travel and stuff; I've been all over Era and still ain't seen it all," she explained surprisingly proudly.

Jack had to give himself that, at least, right? His eyes remained on Victoria even as she looked away and continued speaking. She had almost lost him, and he had almost lost her in turn. Death was one bitch of a separator. There was no dying that... A rather hard sigh escaped from Jack's chest causing the drop of his diaphragm to cringe in pain. The last few words only served to hurt him more, though. She shouldn't... have seen it. In that moment he wished that she hadn't been there and that instead it was someone sympathetic but detached to him. However, it wasn't. The watcher had been Victoria.. Jack's eyes finally dropped and moved away from her. "I ...sorry..." he finally murmured weakly in a vain attempt to be normal. It was failed or at least Jack thought so.

She'd seen that bloody mess he'd fallen back into. Well, duh what had he thought she would see? Somewhere in the back of Jack's mind, Third sighed only causing the purple haired man to sigh as well. He couldn't even think straight at the moment, it seemed. "Hey.... hey ..." Jack replied weakly shaking his head a little briefly only to find the sharp pains in his neck were refuting his movements. "I'm not dead or nothin'," he reassured quietly smirking as best he could in order to somehow make it better. "And the docs know how to fix me up pretty good," he breathed out finding that his heart was pounding rather hard simply from talking. Damn this was... annoying... "Don't worry..." was the last thing he mumbled.
Don't worry, hah... Even Jack knew that was a far fetched wish. She'd just seen him be shot, and once more he'd knocked on Death's door briefly only to be dragged back again into the world of the living. To Jack it may have been almost a little normal now, but from the expression on Victoria's face, he knew she wasn't alright with it at the very tip of that ice berg. He wished there was something more he could say, something more he could confide in her for her to believe that it would all be alright. However, his mind wasn't formulating any ideas despite the few comments that were being thrown around from various lesser voices.

Jayme gave a brief nod at the 'ok' but ended up blushing a little more at the compliment of sorts. A quiet laugh escaped from him briefly, but this was quickly dispelled by Justice explaining that she had a dream as well. Blinking briefly as they started to walk back, Jayme looked up at the rain coming down briefly before looking forwards again. "What's your dream?" he asked after a moment more. As the rain continued down a bit faster than before, the pink haired young man sped up his step just a little in order to hopefully get in before he and Justice were completely soaked. They hadn't gone too far, thankfully...
As Cora took the phone, Feliciano just gave a somewhat grave nod to her and found his eyes focusing more on the ground thereafter. As Miguel began to speak, Felis felt his emotions fluctuate. He was angry at Miguel, but he knew it was unrighteously so. Miguel had simply not been there and had come in at some point at least. In truth, he wasn't even angry at Miguel so much as himself. That explosion of words had released the bulk of the stress and steam that had been driving him, but now without it, he had no idea what to say. Did he really want Miguel to leave? No. Quite contrary, Felis wanted Miguel to stay there, to somehow provide more comfort than there was to give and to make everything alright. However, there was no way to make things alright, it seemed. Things could be healed but a brokeness of failure was harder to seal up.
A silence fell for a while, and it was all Felis could do at the moment. Slowly looking up at Miguel again, the blond sighed deeply. "I don't know what I want," he admitted before bringing both hands to his face and running his fingers up through what would have been his bangs and shoving it away. Tired eyes were the only thing that were revealed thereafter.
Haiiro's pupils shrunk as his eyes recognized tears, and his muscles tensed. Reaching up slowly with his free hand, Haiiro made to brush at least one of those tears away as gently as he possibly could. Something told him not to. Something told him that he would only hurt her more by doing so, but something in Haiiro wouldn't allow him to just watch them fall. As she began to speak, Haiiro felt his stomach twist up. She hadn't run from that man but she'd been hurt terribly by him because of it. It was honestly the first time in his life that Haiiro wanted to tell anyone that she should have run. She should have run and stayed safe... or she should have... have... He didn't know what. She shouldn't have been hurt like this, that was all there was to it.
"Elayne...I...." Haiiro started before falling silent briefly. "I.... won't leave you alone ever again..." the dark haired young man finally stated aloud.

The change in the subject was well worth it, and though he wasn't really happy at himself for being so relieved to leave such a precarious subject, Jayme was happy at least a little happy at the actual change itself. Justice seemed to have grown livelier, and it sparked a bit more liveliness in Jayme as a result. A small smile came to his lips as he listened to Justice speak only to catch herself and blush. Wow... she ... was really cute... Realizing those were his thoughts, Jayme flushed a little briefly and ended up looking sideways rubbing his own neck in unison with Justice's motions. Oddly enough, they looked back at one another at the same time. "Sounds like a lot of fun," Jayme finally replied nodding his head only to reach up and brush a few strands of hair away from his face as an after thought.
"I used to travel a bit when I had time, but with school and training, I've gotten a lot busier," he explained slowly lowering his hand again and looking forwards. "I want to be a pokemon doctor... and... recently I thought about maybe trying to be a human doctor too," he sighed briefly at this thought. In truth, he had actually only thought of it after hearing what had happened to Elayne, but now it was nestling itself in the back of his mind. It would be good to be able to treat both people and pokemon wouldn't it?
Though he might have said more, Jayme suddenly felt a droplet of water hit his nose. Blinking, the pink haired young man looked upwards only to get hit in the forehead with another drop of water. When had the clouds gotten so dark? "Maybe we should head back," was the quiet murmur that escaped.
----
Cora's eyes met Feliciano's stare, and as she froze, he waited. When she managed to explain at least in part what she was doing, he gave a brief nod in understanding before fishing out a phone from his pocket. "You can use mine if you wish," he replied his voice sighing a bit harder than intended. Briefly blue eyes slid sideways and stared at Miguel, but Felis didn't say anything even as he did so.
---
Though Elayne's words hit Haiiro's ears, he couldn't will them to make him feel any better. Another breath was taken in, and it took everything in Haii to keep calm. "Why the hell are people like him still in this world..." Haiiro sighed softly after a moment feeling that defeating feeling shoot through his veins again. The sounds of something rapping on the windows drew Haiiro's attention away for a moment, but as he saw the slashes of water that were now trailing down the pane, he sighed. Rain.

Jayme frowned briefly at Justice's words, and for a few seconds, he was unsure of what to say. After a moment more, pink eyes dropped. "I think... that's how everyone feels..." he sighed shaking his head a little before managing to smile again briefly. It wasn't...going to do any good to feel bad... despite how easy it was to do so.
The girl gave her name, and Jayme was again reminded of the name Miguel had said. Yes, he knew who she was- if only registering her existence just that morning due to Miguel and Nathan's conversation. Taking the hand a little awkwardly but managing a sincere smile, Jayme shook the hand. "Nice to meet you..." he replied releasing her hand a moment after. "I heard you'd... been traveling around a lot... what was it like?" he asked finding that a change of subject might have been good for them both at this point.
----
In truth, at the mention of papers and the country, Feliciano Rossi did not mean anything close to Miguel's history. It had been sole social projection, and somewhere in the back of Felis's mind, he knew that. If he hadn't been focused on the papers that he had been dealing with that morning and had been more focused on the family that meant the most to him, this would never have happened. It was... all his fault...
Felis was barely aware of Migeul's motions as he was moved up into one of the chairs rather than left to sit on the floor. His eyes were too blurred by tears, and his emotions were too blurred by anguish to even realize that he was moving. It was not alright. It would never be alright. A few minutes passed before Felis even began to compose himself again, and even as he did so, he found his own motions jerking in comparison to their normal fluidity. A right hand set itself on Felis's cheek as he brushed a few tears away only to find that more silent ones had filled their place in an instant.
Miguel had begun to talk, and though he didn't want to, Felis listened. Somewhere in Felis, he knew Miguel was not to blame for the events, yet at the moment he couldn't bring himself to admit that. Instead, the blond managed to somehow draw his rather long legs to himself and wrap his arms around them before effectively burying his face in his knees. It actually caused his stomach to throb in a particular place he had been stabbed only a bit ago in all reality. However, Felis ignored it.
The one-sided conversation refocused itself, and suddenly Felis was confused. That... that he... he had wanted to talk about after Miguel had gotten back, but... wait why was... he bringing it up now anyways... This confusion on Felis's face was hidden gracefully by his position, and form Miguel's perception, one could probably discern only a little change in Felis's shielded visage.
Miguel talked about pressure, and something in Felis's blood boiled. He couldn't handle the pressure? He couldn't handle taking up a job that he was meant to have? Felis was never meant to take up the role of Duke. He was the younger brother. Neither Lances were supposed to leave, and he was supposed to never have had to shoulder the tasks that were shoved upon him. Pressure? He was sure anyone could handle the pressure.
"You put your family at risk," was all that Feliciano Rossi replied back with. He would have said more had he not heard the wheels of some chair moving about. Looking upwards towards the entrance towards the back, he found himself staring at Cora there.
---
Haiiro was quiet as Cora left and slowly turned his attention back to Elayne thereafter. He didn't know what to say in all honesty and was growing more uncomfortable with the situation now that they were alone. However, a nurse decided to come in an interrupt for a short bit which was actually more welcomed than what normally would have been. However, the nurse left soon after, and a sigh escaped from Haiiro as he watched the door close once more.
Elayne's voice hit his ears again, and Haiiro's head turned back to her finding that her hand had been reached out. Briefly he stepped forwards before uncertainty flushed into his veins causing him to step back again... only to step forwards once more and finally come to her side. Taking Elayne's hand carefully, Haiiro found his blue spheres drawn to Elayne again. She looked so small in that bed... and out of place... It.. wasn't fair damn it.
"Elayne I..." Haiiro's voice cut off, and for the first time in a long time, weakness flashed across his face. Sinking to his knees there next to the bed, Haiiro bit back a few words trying to calm himself before actually speaking. It worked moderately well. "Can't believe I... almost lost you..."

She couldn't quite imagine the woman completely heartless, but damn she got so close. As Van made a mention to change the subject, Teme was all for it, in all honesty. Even if it was ...odd to be talking to this girl.
As Van had moved over to the bed, Temera hesitated before finding herself following suit. Sitting down precariously on the bed, the older blond shifted a little as the younger talked. Get to know each other...right... Blue eyes stared at green ones briefly before glancing sideway.. An awkward feeling was once more encompassing Teme's thoughts, and fighting it back was becoming increasingly more difficult. "So.... erhm... where did you grow up?" Teme managed to speak finding that her vocal chords weren't near as controlled as they normally were. Was... this what it was like to feel nervous? WHy was she nervous damn it.

The Meganium smiled warmly at Cody. At Seiji's words, e chuckled a little and directed more of his speech towards the young pokemon. <Yes we should> he agreed with a quiet chuckle before nudging the Normal Type before bringing his head back up again. Stretching a little before yawning lazily, the Meganum tossed his head from one side to the other debating what he wanted to do. The day seemed to be ending surprisingly quickly despite his best efforts to slow it down and enjoy it. However, he couldn't say that he didn't enjoy it, really. After a moment or two, the large grass type looked back at Cody. <Well now... you should probably find some shelter as it seems the day is slowly starting to fade> he commented.

Jayme Joy wasn't sure what he was expecting to hear from Justice in reply to what he had said to be honest. He didn't think that much into whether she would sympathize or try and tell him some good advise. No more or less, he hadn't really said it for her to hear but a general someone, and the more he realized it, the more Jayme became aware of the fact that he probably would have been talking to himself in just the same way even if Justice hadn't been there to appear like she was listening. Someone might have thought him crazy to be talking to himself or something. Well whatever.... It didn't matter anyways. Nothing mattered at the moment outside of the fact that he had failed yet again to do something he wanted to accomplish so badly that he could feel it burning in his veins.
It was only as Justice actually spoke again that Jayme's blood ran cold with understanding. As a new view suddenly jumped into his mind, he mentally cringed. Did Miguel really feel the same? Did he know just how much it hurt to have not been there? Somewhere in the back of his mind, Jayme knew it was true. Miguel had been a knight longer... He'd been Forest Castle's knight longer. He wanted to defend everyone in the castle as much as Jayme did, didn't he? Jayme bit his lip wishing that he could say there was some difference between what he was feeling and what Miguel was probably feeling but the fact of the matter was that Jayme didn't know exactly what Miguel was feeling at the moment. Guilt in all her wretched glory curled around Jayme's heart thereafter making him wonder why he hadn't realized it while he was in there. He could have said something even if he was hurting too couldn't he have?
As Justice went on, Jayme's heart only sunk a little more. He didn't know her, really, but she had feelings too. How could he have forgotten that? How could he just pour out his own aggressions to someone who...who was only listening. Not just any person, though- the person they had been away to find. Did...did Justice really feel that sort of guilt as well? For being the one that they were away from the castle for? Another more mature part of Jayme answered yes, and he found his stomach twisting. What would it feel like if he had run away or if he was away and someone who was defending the castle was away from him... and then to have a person from the castle attacked? Jayme could only feel a bit of what Justice could possibly feel, yet it made him sick to his stomach just thinking about it.
But there Justice was reconciling all things with the variable none could really perceive n any close definition. If this had been changed somehow, it could possibly have happened again regardless. Though he didn't want to believe in such negative destinies, the fact of the matter was it was a possibility. Only if he had been close enough at the time to fight off that man would he have been able to do anything completely. If he had been at the castle, how would he have known anything was wrong? A part of him quickly pushed back that he would have been with Elayne- would have told her he was coming with her rather than let her go alone. However, he might have been training with Miguel and busy at the time. There were too many ways that the situation could have come out the same. Jayme's head dropped a little, his eyes now focusing in on the cracks in the ground as they walked.
However, for all the stress and strain that Justice's words had set on his heart, Jayme felt something lessen just a little at the last few comments. There were still things he could do now...weren't there? He could focus on Elayne and help her with everything that she needed. He could...do something about that man or ask someone else to- though now that he thought about it, Jay was all too sure that someone else was going to do something. Felis wasn't going to just let that man get away, right? Jayme wanted to believe there was more to it than that, and slowly but surely, he worked up the reassurance in himself. Felis would do something about that red haired man. The last comment slowly brought a brief smile to Jayme's cheeks though his eyes didn't raise from where they were. "Thanks..." he murmured after a moment before stopping in his step.
For a brief moment, Jayme thought about simply turning around and just heading back, yet something in him was still unwilling to face Miguel again just yet. It was such an obscure feeling to have considering his master had never done anything to elicit any sort of fear response, but then again it was more of an unwillingness rather than a fear. Slowly looking at Justice after a moment, Jayme slowly smiled. "It's...not your fault either, you know..." he mumbled managing a weak smile. Another quiet sigh. "I'd....like to have you as my friend too," he said more shyly than intended.
Jayme Joy didn't realize how much he was growing up.
---
Miguel's first question resounded in a simple shake of Feliciano's head- the Duke unable to trust his voice to carry the word 'no' loud enough. As much as he was trying to keep himself strong at the moment, Felis was more than aware of his own mental turmoil. He had gone through it enough to know it by now, as sad as it was. It was distinct from the feeling of loss that came when his relationships failed instead being more closely related to the feeling of loss that came with his inner family's death. He kept reminding himself that Elayne was indeed alive, but somehow that didn't help anything. She had been hurt so very close to his castle, and he hadn't even known it until Porthos came in. For a brief moment, a dry humor came to the forefront of Feliciano's mind as he reflected again on the fact that he had gotten on a flaming horse at a moment's notice at the single sign of trouble. However, it was gone in an instant as he reflected on the fact that even though he had done such a feet, it had still amounted to nothing in the end.
As Miguel began to apologize, Feliciano looked up realizing that in the course of a few seconds, his eye balls had hit the floor several times over and were simply focused there before being pulled up again. Fresh streams of liquid threatened from tear ducts, and though he tried to fight them off, Felis found his efforts were to of no avail as sure enough they came streaming down regardless. They were angry tears- more specifically vengeful ones, and though Miguel wasn't directly at fault then and there, something in Felis broke down in the few seconds after the apology was made.
"IT IS YOUR FAULT!" he shouted his voice breaking the air at such a pitch as to cause the receptionist to cringe from where she was. "If you had told me you had a sister earlier, we could have kept an eye on her! If she hadn't been gallivanting around like a hoodlem you wouldn't have had to go out and find her! If you had been at home you could have gotten to her faster! Hell even if you had just gotten there a little bit faster, she wouldn't have to go through that! If you were paying attention to what she had been doing and where she had been going this morning... If you hadn't been too busy to focus on this damn country working all those stupid papers then you could have made sure she was ok! What the hell were you thinking?!"
A terrible sob hit the air, and suddenly Feliciano found himself on his knees fighting down the urge to vomit. His head pounded, and his heart wretched. The world was spinning fast, and Felis no longer held back anything back. His Elayne had been hurt. She'd been hurt right close to home, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. Why ...why hadn't he been there.....
--- It was probably for the best that Cora had stifled that giggle or Haiiro would have been redder than an apple and more awkward than a turtle. It wasn't that he didn't know how to speak. On the contrary, he was always careful to think about his words and was usually quiet because of that. However, at that moment, it had come out on its own, and now Haiiro was left to deal with the consequences. Shifting a little quietly as he tried to gather up what he wanted to say, Haiiro found it harder than before as though his mind had been covered up in the short few seconds after his words had stopped. Great....
Thankfully it at least seemed as though he wasn't going to be judged for such words, and Haiiro slowly breathed a mental sigh of relief as Elayne spoke. A slow nod was given, and slowly Haiiro deflated his shoulders sagging more than they normally did. "I won't fail," was the simple reply that was given. Haiiro wasn't quite sure what he even meant by those words, but it didn't matter anyways. He was going to keep supporting her no matter what, and he'd kick that red haired guy in the face too.

Pulling it out with one quick motion, Jayme turned around again slowly and leaned against that particular tree as Carly spoke. "Heh," was the brief reply that was given back before a wider smile came to Jay. "It was really hard..." he laughed a bit at the comment on disarming. As Carly continued on, Jayme blinked surprised. "Really? That would be awesome," he replied leaning off the tree and fishing into his pocket before his own phone. Waiting for her to call out the number, Jayme followed whatever was said. It was only then that the pink haired boy realized just how much time he had spent. He had better continue looking around and maybe head back to the castle... or call Miguel first... Yeah... "Ah, time got away from me... I have to head out.." he sighed after a moment looking back at Carly with an earnest expression.

How he hadn't realized that before, the purple haired man was unsure. However, after a few seconds, he squeezed her hand only to find that it caused his chest to ache somehow. We got shot up rather badly.. Third commented dryly as if Jack really needed to hear such words at the moment. He ignored it and once more tried to rouse her with a brief squeeze before breathing out feeling the pains in his chest. Damn it why couldn't they have shot him in the arm or the leg or something. Well it could have been worse... He could have been shot in a joint, and that would arguably have hurt worse, but still. This hurt pretty bad. Ugh...
As the woman by his side finally awoke and stared at him, all Jack could do was stare back. He wanted to say something- ask her if she was ok and ask what happened to Jess. The fact that she wasn't saying anything as soon as she awoke worried Jack though why he wasn't sure. "Vicki..." he murmured through the breathing mask once more despite the pain that was going through his chest. Damn it where were the pain meds?
As she spoke his name, Jack breathed out a little weakly. The words and tears that followed only caused Jack to frown. He didn't want to see her cry... She looked.. so sad. He'd done it again hadn't he? He had made her upset again because of the way he lived... Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. "Of...course I am..." he replied after a moment a weak smirk playing onto his features briefly before falling back again. It was hard to keep up such motions. I can feel ...her mind..' Amina projected solely to Nathan as the pair continued to walk through the various rooms. Nathan said nothing aloud and made no motion to formulate a direct thought back to her, but the Gardevoir could easily feel the sort of apprehension running off of him. If this was the girl they were looking for, then it would be quick work making her come with them and back South maybe even placing her under the care of James. There, he would keep her safe. That was the best case scenario and would allow Nathan to continue working without worry. A lesser one would be just to introduce themselves as people that were there to help. It would mean that he had to do more, but it would also give Sarah more freedom. Well, he would figure it all out when he actually met the young woman. 'It will be alright, Nathan...' Amina projected solely to her husband, and after a moment, grey eyes slid sideways, and a brief nod was made.
In truth, Nathan had not even noticed Sarah just yet, but as she popped out of seemingly nowhere and began to look around for something, grey eyes stared before looking sideways at Amina. Is this...? Nathan's thoughts asked, but Amina gave a brief shrug only to smile devilishly thereafter. Nathan deadpanned briefly before sighing. She wasn't going to tell him for whatever reason. Fine then, he would strike up a conversation then. "Looking for something?" he asked walking towards the young woman and keeping a rather calm expression. Amina smiled softly and just followed after Nathan as he had moved ahead of her. Truth was hat this girl's mind wasn't as open as one would have expected, and Ami herself could only guess when it came down to it. She could force the issue but then the girl would realize that someone was in her mind, and Amina was careful not to intrude in such a way especially on a first meeting. [/scrolly] |
