Picking up the ball, Akira smiled and tucked it away before turning to Loki. "That's one. Shall we continue?" At this, Loki nodded happily and turned around, looking down the path, waiting for Akira to move before he did.

Nearby, under a sign that showed a map of the zoo, two pokemon are seen happily enjoying a conversation. One pokemon, a blue water type with a shell on its back, a Squirtle. The other a young pink pokemon that looked like a baby, a Cleffa.

Looking ahead at the pokemon, Loki stopped suddenly and tilted his head. Another baby pokmon, like himself, here? Good. With a smirk, the Riolu suddenly ran forward to attack. Seeing this, Akira stopped as well and nearly deadpanned, "Loki...." Damn... I lost him... He thought with a mental grimace as the pokemon rushed forward, preparing an ice punch to throw at the Cleffa, seeming to forget that the Squirtle was right there.

As the pair enjoyed their conversation, something in the corner of the Squirtle's eyes took its attention. Turning around just in time to see the Riolu about to use Ice Punch on the Cleffa, it pushed the baby pokemon out of the way, taking the full impact of the Ice punch.
As it got back up, it let out a soft growl as it turned to stare at the Riolu. Grabbing sunglasses out of seemingly nowhere and putting them on, the Squirtle seemed to also lower its head. A good trainer would know that this was in fact, Skull Bash.

With his attention focused on the Cleffa, Loki didnt notice the Skull Bash coming at him. "LOKI!" Turning his head at Akira's voice, he saw the Squirtle and attempted to move - but failed. The move caught the pokemon in the side, sending him flying. Shifting in the air, Loki landed on all fours and slid back, glaring at the water type. Gritting his teeth, he stood and ran forward, forming a Zen Headbutt to return the favor.

Watching the Riolu charge back at it with a Zen Headbutt, the Squirtle quickly used Water Gun on the floor, propelling itself up in the air. Whilst still in mid air, the Squirtle turned and faced the Riolu firing off an Ice Beam at it.

Feeling that he missed, the Riolu once again slid to a stop and turned around to see the Ice beam coming, but once again, not soon enough. With a growl, he braced himself as best as he could as the beam ran across him and moved on. Taking a battle stance, Loki roared and formed a ball between his hands before throwing it at the Squirtle, a Aura Sphere.

Unable to dodge or turn around mid air as the Aura Sphere came towards it, the Squirtle quickly withdrew into its shell before jets of water came flying out of the holes, causing the shell to spin. Hydro Pump. The Squirtle hoped that it would manage to hit to Riolu, seeing that it had no way of dodging that attack.
As the Cleffa got back up and watched the battle going on, it crossed its arms and puffed up slightly, obviously upset with what was going on. Seeing the Riolu distracted with the battle, the Cleffa also grabbed a pair of sunglasses seemingly out of nowhere before using Psychic on the Riolu, planning on floating him in the air before smashing him several times into the ground.

With a yip, Loki was lifted into the air before being slammed into the ground, raised back up and hit with the Hydro Pump, then slammed down again. With a growl, He grit his teeth and focused. He would not LOSE this way. This was.... NO. Closing his eyes as he was slammed down again, Loki faintly heard Akira screaming out his name. His... trainer. What would they do to him once they were done with him? Not an option. He wouldn't fall. The psychic dispersed suddenly around him as his tiny body began to glow and grow.
Landing, the white light shattered, falling around him as sparkles as the once Riolu now stood as a Lucario. Opening his eyes slowly, he looked ahead dangerously at the two before standing up, balling his fists. Taking a fighting stance, he formed another Aura sphere and threw it at the Squirtle once again.
"Loki..." The noble muttered, awed by his pokemon's actions before pulling out another ball. He didn't want to see that happen to his pokemon again. Two on one was unfair, especially now. Throwing the ball forward, a Glaceon came out and landed before him, eyes focused on the two ahead. "Alright Toshiro, Blizzard." Without another word, the ice type bolted forward and opened his maw, sending a burst of freezing wind toward the Cleffa.

Unable to do anything besides take the full impact of the Aura Sphere, the Squirtle was knocked over. Slowly getting back up with one arm on the ground, the Squirtle let off a small growl as it eyed off the now evolved Lucario. Quickly over to the Glaceon who had now been from its pokeball, the Squirtle rushed over to the Cleffa, screaming out to it. "Quick Clefs, use Protect now!"[/color]
Hearing the Squirtle scream out to it, the Cleffa turned to the Glaceon just in time to use Protect as the Squirtle ran behind the Cleffa, covering both of them in an Aqua Ring.

With a smirk, Loki stood up right and moved closer to the two, one of his paws glowing brightly as Toshiro moved off to the side, focused on the two. <heh...> Loki stopped before the two with a sudden grin and lifted his paw, bringing it down on the protect with a Thunderpunch.
As Loki made his move, Toshiro stopped and took a fighting stance, opening his maw wide again to form an Ice beam, waiting to fire it the second the protect failed.

Watching the Lucario move in with a Thunderpunch, the Squirtle quickly glanced at Toshiro, preparing an Ice Beam of its own to fire back at it. As the Protect dispelled, the Squirtle fired off the Ice Beam, meeting Toshiro's Ice Beam at halfway.
Quickly barrel rolling out of the way, rolling near the Lucario, the Cleffa used Copycat, copying the Thunderpunch back a the pokemon.

With a smirk, Loki formed an Aura Sphere, letting it power as the Cleffa came closer and used Thunderpunch. Laughing as the attack hit, he did his best not to let it get to him as he released the Aura Sphere down on the Cleffa.
"Glace!" The ice type cried out as he dodged to the side as the ice beams canceled each other out. With eyes narrowed, he continued to move, forming a Shadow Ball and released it, not stopping for a second.

Not having a chance in the world to dodge the Aura sphere, the Cleffa cried out in pain as it fainted to the ground, completely unconscious. As it fell and landed stomach first on the ground, the impact caused the glasses to fall to the ground, breaking them in the process.
Watching the Glaceon intently, ready to dodge and attack, the Squirtle was sure he would win when he heard the Cleffa. Gasping and turning his attention to the Cleffa as it seemed to fall in slow motion, it moved to its friend's side as the glasses broke however found itself only getting hit by the Shadow Ball before he could do anything.
The Squirtle forgot to pay attention to the Glaceon as it was only concentrated on the Cleffa. Struggling to get back up again, it rushed at the Lucario, planning revenge on what it had done to its friend and teammate. As it picked up speed, the Squirtle seemed to tuck its head in, most likely a Skull Bash was being prepared.

Looking over at the cleffa, Akira slowly made his way over to it and kneeled down beside it with a sigh and pulled out a pokeball, looking up at the Squirtle. They obviously seemed to be friends.. he couldn't let one come with him without the other, right? Biting back a sigh, he dropped the ball toward the small pokemon before him.
On the other hand, Toshiro saw the Squirtle running at his own teammate and cried out, forming a quick blizzard, he shot it at the water type. Loki, shifting his stance, formed a Bone Rush and raised the large, blue, bone like staff that had formed in his paws, swinging it at the pokemon as the Skull Bash came toward him.
[You can have the Skull Bash hit Loki if you want, that's fine with me ^^]
