As usual, the Growlithe, Akatora was far ahead of his trainer, nose to the ground as he moved. The fire type was aiding his master in finding new pokemon for the team. Since their battle with the bounty hunter Teme, Kamui realized that there were indeed people after his head, and apparently... it was worth alot. He knew he was a big gang leader and all, but it still left him wondering just what exactly it was that he had done to make him be worth so much.

With a sigh, the boy tucked his hands into his pockets and pushed the thought aside. It was no matter, he wouldn't let himself be caught. He would fight for himself, as hard and long as he could. Which, once again, was why he was here. He needed a strong team not only to back himself up and to appear as a good leader of his gang, but to save his own hide as well. If that boy, Seth, wasn't there to aid him in battle, he wouldn't have done well. Well, next time he came face to face with Teme, or any other bounty hunter, he would be ready.

Up ahead, Aka had come to a stop, his nose now in the air, twitching as it came across a scent. Pausing behind him, Kamui took a quick look around. There was a pokemon nearby, the actions of the fire type before him told him that much. "Be ready."

The question is,

Up on a windowsill, a Skarmory stood and stared out the window as though waiting for something. Upon hearing the footsteps of a pokemon, she looked over and stared at the oncoming pokemon and trainer. Looking back out the window and debating whether to just take off and fly away, the bird pokemon finally waited to see what exactly Kamui would do.

Looking up to find the Skarmory staring down at them, Aka released a soft growl, crouching slightly. Hearing this, Kamui looked up to find the steel type as well and smiled. What a fine find indeed. Seeing that the pokemon made no move to attack or flee, Kamui found himself not wanting to attack and ruin any chances, yet, he didn't want it to flee either. Making up his mind, he raised a hand and gave a short wave to the pokemon, if it were to flee, then Aka would have his shot and attack.

The question is,

The Skarmory blinked at the wave before raising a wing and mimicking the man with a wave of his wing. She found it rather amusing to say the least and then raised both wings and gave a full wave before stopping again and waiting to see what the man did.

Hn? Kamui's eyes widened slightly as the Pokemon responded as to what could be considered a wave of its own. Mimicry, perhaps? Or simply returning the 'hello'? What the pokemon did next, completely surprised him, waving both wings around before settling again? What did it expect him to do.... copy it as well? Biting his lower lip, the gang leader couldn't help but to snicker a bit. Though, instead of Kamui responding, Aka stood up and leaped in front of him, bouncing around and barking a couple times happily before stopping and looking up at the Skarmory as well.

The Skarmory stared with a light stare for a moment before attempting to jump as well and made a call cut between a bark and a bird call. Proud of herself, the Skarmory burst out laughing and flew closer towards the dog pokemon to stand a good few feet away.

Turning as the Skarmory landed, Aka's ears rose and he stood up straight from his playful stance. With a tilt of his head, he carefully made his way over to the larger steel type and looked up at it with slightly widened eyes before standing on his hind paws to sniff at her. "Aka..." The boy warned, turning to face the two - yet it didn't seem like the Skarmory meant any harm. Tail twitching slightly, Aka sat down, continuing to look up at the strange bird, wondering if she would or could talk back to him, <Hi.>

The question is,

The Skarmory looked back down turning her head to one side and then the other. She had seen a few fire pooch pokemon in her day, yet never one with a trainer. After a moment, she simply grinned back making a steel call. <Hiya~ What's up?>

Hearing the other talk, Aka wagged his fluff of a tail slightly before smiling, <Nothing much really, We're here looking for some pokemon to help my master out in his plight and such,> He paused, waiting to see if there was any reaction out of the Skarmory at the mention of this before continuing, <As many trainers do, of course. It's never ending, I suppose.> Shooting a look back at Kamui, the pokemon knew his trainer would be slightly tense, as he always was in 'new' situations, but he would be fine. <It's alot of fun though,> He turned back to the Skarmory and tilted his head slightly, <What do you think of the trainers?>

<They're odd> the Skarmory half laughed back before nodding to herself. Laughing lightly, she looked up at Kamui for a minute and turned her head to one side and then the other. <But whatever...> she grinned back at the fire dog. However, in another moment, she wondered if... they wanted to... catch her ;.......

<They are different... but they're good.> Aka said with a nod, as if confirming himself, looking over his shoulder at Kamui once again as the Skarmory did, <He's always there when I need him.> With that, he looked at the steel bird again before tilting his own head as she grinned, noticing the change in the way her aura seemed to change, the scent of her emotion, one could say. Who knows how dogs could pick up on these things, instinct, perhaps? Regardless, he sensed her sudden doubt, or at least that's what he thought he sensed. <Don't worry, if you want to remain free, I'll simply lead him away.> He finished with a slight wag of his tail, taking a stab at what was bothering her.

This second sentence seemed to suddenly return the happiness to the Skarmory. <Oh great! Thanks! So...what now?> She turned her head again at a very long angle to one side and stared at the dog. <Oh! I know! How about a game of tag! That'd be fun!> Suddenly bringing her wing forwards and tapping the fire dog before starting to jump into the air and glide low, the Skarmory turned her head back and wondering if the fire pup would chase her.

When her wing suddenly tapped him, Aka's ears rose up as his body went on the alert. Next thing he knew, she was in the air and flying away, looking back at him. With a quick look over his shoulders at Kamui, Aka barked once before leaping to his feet and taking off after the Skarmory. It was good to have some fun now and then... right? <You won't get away so easily!>

The Skarmory had somewhat of a n_n face somehow as she glided and made sure that she wasn't getting too far from the fire dog. It was a game right? A very fun game at that! Not far off, something else watched the game with a careful eye as though questioning why someone would even play such a game with a complete stranger.

Picking up a bit of speed as he ran, Aka did his best to try and catch up with the Skarmory. It had been awhile since he had played, being serious about being with his master, especially since they had their... special duties. He found himself enjoying this, very much. So much, that he hadn't noticed their watcher.

Seeing the two distance themselves from him, Kamui reached down and pulled out another pokeball, releasing Mao. He figured the Skarmory would keep Akatora busy long enough that the Mao and himself would most likely run into more pokemon. With a yawn, Mao moved forward.

The Skarmory continued to fly lightly over the ground slowing down and looking back over her shoulder every few seconds making sure the fire pup was still there. However, looking back too many times caused her to nearly crash into a pillar once or twice. She was going to have to be a bit more careful... maybe.

What continued to watch the human was rather surprised to see a golden lion pokemon come out of a pokeball. For a moment, said pokemon backed up a fraction but then took another step forwards as though trying to reassure itself. A Meowth finally called out to the other somewhat different cat pokemon.

Releasing a bark, Aka did his best to keep up as he laughed at her nearly crashing. It wasn't a good thing to laugh at someone who nearly got hurt, but he found it oddly humorous. Though, if she crashed into something, he would help her of course, it wouldn't be a good thing not to. With her slowing down in speed, he was catching up a bit more, soon running nearly beside her, albeit behind a couple feet. <I've never chased a flyer before...? He commented with a smile.

Hearing the call out to him, Mao perked up and gazed ahead at the other feline. With tail swaying contently, he moved forward to the Meowth with a smile and sat before him, purring softly. <Why, hello there.> He kept his voice low as he laid down to make himself more the other pokemon's size.

<I've never tried to run with legs hah!> the Skarmory answered back as though it made some sort of parallel sense in her mind. She slowed down again wondering if shew as going to get tagged or not.

The Meowth watched for a moment before slowly sitting down on his back legs and staring at the other feline pokemon <Hello....> he said rather quietly to himself.

<Well, I can't say I've tried win-> He cut himself off with that, then grinned, <Well, I have flown on my human's dragon before!> With that, Aka pushed against the ground and took two fairly large bounds before flying at the Skarmory, attempting to tag her.

Seeing the other feline sit as well, Mao smiled again as he wrapped his tail around him. He took a look around the area before back at the Meowth, tilting his head slightly, <It's such a nice day, no?> He began, trying to start a conversation up with the wild pokemon so he wouldn't feel as awkward around the shiny. <You live around here?>

The Skarmory felt herself tagged and stopped instantly fluttering to the ground before turning and starting to chase after Aka. <A Dragon, you say?> she asked back as she flew trying to tag him now. <Well I've seen one of those before!>

The Meowth nodded to both questions before watching the Skarmory and the fire dog for a moment and wondering how they could possibly do something that immature...<I live around here...> he finally answered back.
