Soaring low over the water, Kami made his way to the island by the orders of Kaito. He needed new partners, well no, he didn't want to replace his, he wanted more. Water soon turned into sand under the Flygon, but the beach was no place to land, there would be no pokemon out here, at least, not the ones Kaito had hoped to catch. Instead, he brought his trainer toward the inner sanctum of the island, landing in a heavily treed area.

Dismounting, Kaito brought the Flygon back into his ball and released, in its place, a tiny Emonga. The flying creature made a round around his head before landing on his shoulder with a happy purr before the man made his way into the forest, looking for Possible new partners.

[Maid Melody]

Up ahead a flash of electric light could be seen from the other side of a boulder. Low growls could be heard in between occasional flashes of light.

Tilting his head, Tsuki pulled on Kaito's shirt as he pointed toward the light. Looking at the Pokemon on his shoulder, he followed the direction that he looked and pointed to see the light as well. Tilting his own head slightly, he turned in that direction and moved forward, looking around the boulder to see what was there.

[Maid Melody]

On the other side of the boulder was a Manectric with another Electrike. It appeared that the Manectric was teaching the younger Electrike how to do Thunder. With a low growl of encouragement, the Manectric once again demonstrated the move, breaking apart the glass a few yards ahead as she did so before turning to the Electrike.

The Electrike watched in amazement before nodding in determination, releasing her own Thunder, or attempt of one. For a moment the Thunder seemed like it was going to hit only to fizzle a few feet from reaching its target. The Electrike hung her head in disappointment, uttering a mournful whine.

Tilting his head once again, Tsuki raised his arms and soared over to the two pokemon, landing a little ways away, watching with great interest. With a soft groan, Kaito bit his lower lip and slowly made his way over to Tsuki, hoping to grab the young pokemon, but it was too late. With a large smile and a wave, the Emonga called out to the other two electric types with a short greeting. Sweat-dropping, Kaito thought about backing away, but he knew it would already be too late, so, instead, he made his way to stand behind Tsuki, picking him up gently as he continued to grin at the two.

[Maid Melody]

The Manectric raised her head and nodded to the Emonga while the Electrike hid behind her when Kaito made his way over to them.

The Manectric looked at the little Electrike and smiled encouragingly at her.
<"Do not worry about them, they won't hurt you. And even still I'll protect you little one."> she said in a gentle voice before looking back at the Emonga and his trainer,<"What brings you two out here?">

Hearing the pokemon speak to them, Kaito smiled softly, knowing that was all he could do, but Tsuki on the other hand... <We're out here looking for new partners! My trainer is new to this land, and we don't have many...> His voice trailed off as a solemn look grew on his face, <I worry about him, not having alot of strength to back him up if he needs the help...> Looking back up, he erased the solemn look and grinned again, waving at the Electrike.

[Maid Melody]

The Manectric smiled and nodded at the Emonga.
<"I see. I worry about little ones too, perhaps I might join you. But I have my own little one to worry about.">she said in a kind voice before looking down at the Electrike.

The Electrike peered out from behind the Manectric and took a step forward out of curiousity, tilting her head to one side before finally smiling shyly.

He nodded, smile growing wider at the sight of the other smiling, <That's a very kind offer. I'm sure I could talk my human into letting the both of you come?> He offered, knowing all too well how it was to be small in such a large world, <He takes care of me, I'm sure he would help you take care of the pup and train her to become stronger, like you.> He finished with a happy wiggle in Kaito's arms.

[Maid Melody]

The Manectric smiled and nodded before turning to look at the Electrike.
<"What do you say little one? Would you like to come with me and get stronger? I'm sure you'll be able to master Thunder with a little more practice.">she said in a gentle voice, smiling at the little Electrike.

The Electrike looked a little taken aback by the prospect and looked down at the ground, kicking a pebble as she thought.
<"Well...I do want to get stronger...o...o...ok...I'll come...">she replied in a quiet voice before looking up and nodding.

The Manectric smiled and nudged the Electrike lovingly before looking back at the Emonga.
<"It's settled then. If you'll have us we'll come with you. But I won't come if you don't bring my little one as well. Take her first before me.">she said in a kind but firm voice.

With a nod, Tsuki pointed down to the pouch of empty pokeballs and Kaito kneeled down, allowing the electric type to crawl from his arms and land on the ground with a slight plop. With tail wiggling happily, he pulled out two balls which rolled around his paws and steadied them before looking up at Kaito and pointing to the two. Seeming to understand, Kaito picked them up and offered them to the two. Tsuki then ran before them and opened the one before the Electrike before moving to the one before the Manectric, <Thank you so much!> He grinned largely before opening that one as well.

The Electrike looked surprised when the ball opened before her and sucked her inside. For a moment the ball rocked back and forth as evidence of this surprise before finally settling down with a DING

Personality: Shy and unsure of herself, this Electrike gets discouraged very easily. She looks up to Manectric and strives to make herself stronger so that she can protect others. She is very timid in new situations but in time she may grow more confident.

As the Manectric watched the Electrike get captured she smiled and nodded in response to what the Emonga said and let herself be captured.

Ability: Lightningrod
Personality: Kind and protective, this Manectric cares for her trainer and often treats him like a child, constantly worrying about him if he gets hurt, even going so far as to scold him for spending too much time on puzzles with the occasional zap. She is very protective of Electrike and tries to help her gain confidence.

A Wingull flew overhead before diving into the water near where Kaito stood, resurfacing with a flap of her wings and a happy cry.

Looking at the Wingull, The Emonga waved at it as Kaito picked up the balls and looked at the Wingull as well. He wasn't really needing a flying water type yet at the moment, so he figured he would let this one go. Though, something shiny caught the pokemons eye and he dashed off, causing Kaito to flip. "TSUKI!" With a groan, he tucked the filled pokeballs away and took off after the young pokemon.

The something 'shiny' was the canon of a Magmortar that happened to glimmer when the sun touched it just right. Seeing the Emonga come zipping toward him, the big Magmortar eyed him curiously, choosing not to move so he could see what the little creature would do.

Sliding to a stop, Tsuki looked at eagerly before following the end up to see the face of the Magmortar. With a slight squeak, he took a step back before steeling himself. With a soft growl, he took a slight fighting stance, preparing himself for whatever this pokemon may throw at him. <I-I'm not afraid of you!> He declared, looking up at the Magmortar with great determination, paws balled.

Stopping behind him, Kaito's eyes widened slightly and by instinct, fingered Kami's pokeball, ready to release the Flygon if need be.

[Maid Melody]

The Magmortar chuckled at this.
<"Oh, is that so...">he said with a smug expression on his face before raising the canon in front of Tsuki as a glimmer of red started to appear,<"How about now...?"

The Magmortar waited a few moments, gaging the Emonga's reaction before making a tisking sound and lowering the canon.
<"You're not even worth my time. Now scram.">he said in a bored voice, making a shooing motion with the canon.

Narrowing his eyes further as Kaito lifted the Flygon ball, Tsuki released a shock on the Magmortar with a hiss. Moments later, Kami rose up behind the Emonga, wings spread wide as he narrowed his eyes at the fire-type. <How dare you shoot him down simply because of size or what you think is power.> With that, he opened his maw and released a Dragon Pulse at the Magmortar.

[Maid Melody]

The Magmortar hmphed when the Emonga shocked him and aimed a Fire Punch in his direction, not really caring if it hit or not. Seeing the Flygon, his eyes showed interest in battle as he retaliated with a Flamethrower attack.

Watching as the Flamethrower collided with his Dragon Pulse, Kamu growled as he quickly bent down to use a protect over the Emonga. <Be careful, Tsuki> The younger pokemon nodded as the Flygon let the protect down, allowing Tsuki to fly up and use a thunder as the Flygon came at the Magmortar with a Rock Smash.

[Maid Melody]

The Magmortar didn't seem interested in the Emonga and turned his attention to the Flygon. He was about to attack when the Thunder hit him. Shrugging the attack off as if it was nothing (when in all actuality it did hurt) the Magmortar proceeded to use Smog to both mask his movements and hopefully poison that irritating Emonga. As a result, the Magmortar dodged the Flygon's attack and used Lava Plume in an attempt to hit both the Emonga and Flygon.
