Vengeance nodded in thanks to Lyall before taking a sip of the drink and turning back to Jack, her expression unreadable even as her anger soared.
"Yes Jack..."she said in a pleasant sounding voice that had a slight edge to it,"Do tell us why it's more fun with women..."

In the back of her mind, she knew that she was being foolish, letting the idiot get a rise out of her so easily. But then right now she didn't really care and shoved the thought aside.

[Jay]

Lyall raised his eyebrow for a moment and was suppressing a laugh wondering if the women of the bar were about to put a smack down on the purple haired man. Instead of watching bluntly, the blue haired man turned around and seemed to be examining his shelves.

"Well guys are fun to drink with too I guess," Jack answered back with a shrug. "I just don't like drinking alone in general." He forced a laugh and then seemed to catch a harder laugh in turn. "Who wants to drink alone? It's no fun at all." He shook his head and almost appeared serious for a moment. That is not the only reason~ Casanova chimed, yet in half a second, the Third had smacked him hard followed caustically by a swear from Ripper along the lines of shut up. Several of Jack's persona were now in a heated debate in the back of his mind as to what exactly BJ had meant when he had stated it, yet the purple haired man didn't answer any of them and simply shoved the chorus of voices to the back of his mind.

<sup>And amid the mild chaos, in popped Riku. Purple eyes seemingly glowing as she glanced around, she assessed the situation as drunkenness and.. wait, she recognized the one with purple hair. She sidled over to the bar and sat elegantly in the seat beside him, thinking that she'd figure out exactly who he was once she spoke to him. For now, she wouldn't bother with ordering a drink unless she could charm one out of someone else.

"Hey there~" she purred to the familiar guy, resting her elbow on the bar and turning to face him sideways. She thought perhaps she had seen him at the masquerade, but she couldn't be absolutely certain.</sup>

JASMINE ROSE

Jasmine smirked to herself a bit as she watched Jack. Narrowing her eyes for a few seconds as he kept talking she took a quick glance around them. "For some people its just fine." She would have added more but she saw another person coming up. Sighing to herself she wondered if this one was going to try and start a fight like that other guy had.

Vengeance nodded, agreeing with Jasmine, seemingly not noticing that someone else had approached.
"I rarely drink...but then I don't have much reason to most times..."she said in a pleasant voice, smiling slightly before taking another sip of her drink.
It wasn't until the woman spoke to Jack that she realized someone was there. Narrowing her eye, she turned so she could see the woman. She didn't appear to be a threat, after all she was just talking to Jack but one could never be too sure...

Jack turned his head and caught sight of Riku. With a half smirk, he recognized the girl from the party previously. Well hey there hot stuff~ Casanova sung out happily. Now this is one nice party~ Offer her a drink! Offer her a drink~! BJ! Are you listening? The voice continued on till it reached a high pitch and almost sounded childish. "Well, it's always better with drinking buddies. Trust me," the purple haired man laughed and finished the statement before tuning towards Riku and smirking with ease. "Well hey there. Long time no see~ How about a drink? Order anything ya like. It's on my tab~" he looked off towards Lyall who caught his eye, raised an eyebrow, and started for another glass mentally putting an extra on Jack's tab that was riding up rather fast.

^{Riku appeared to be pleased as she turned her head briefly to glance over to the bar tender. "Mm.. Do you know how to make a Red Hot Lover~?" she purred. She already had her usual half-lidded look, but she gazed adoringly at the tender while she asked this of him as she almost always did when asking anyone for anything.}

JASMINE ROSE

Jasmine sighed when she watched Jack talk to the other girl. She was starting to get a bit uneasy with all these people around, but she didn't show that to the others. Even though she didn't know what Riku was like outside of a bar, but from what she saw there was something she didn't like about her. When the girl spoke about the drink she lifted an eyebrow. She didn't say anything to the other and only took another sip of her drink.

Vengeance smiled at Jack and nodded.
"I suppose you're right Jack~." she replied in a pleasant voice before he ordered a drink for the newcomer.
A sudden rage built up in Vengeance but for whatever reason she couldn't seem to place it...but she had a sudden urge to claw the woman's eyes out. What was she even doing here anyway...? Jack had invited her after all...not this obnoxious flirt who had just barged in. Gripping her glass in her hand with enough strength her knuckles were turning white, she resolved to ignore Jack the rest of the evening. After all if he was going to treat her as well...what did that make her?
Tears of rage filled her eyes and threatened to overwhelm her before she turned away, taking another sip of her drink, feeling a very different emotion now. If Jack was paying attention to that woman...what did that mean...what did that make her...? Her angry tears turned to sadness as her mind swarmed with thoughts that made her feel even worse. What if she wasn't pretty? What if...
The glass seemed to shake in Vengeance's hand but only just before she took a deep breath and calmed down, at least somewhat. This was stupid, why did she care what Jack thought anyway...

[Jay]

Lyall seemed to suddenly smirk with pride. "But of course," he answered back already stepping back in one fluid motion to start making the drink. His entire form was fluid, and in half a second, the bartender had turned around again and was setting the glass down on the bar in front of Riku. "There ya go, Miss," the blue haired man stated before stepping back and taking a glass with ease before starting to clean it rather absentmindedly.

Meanwhile, Jack turned his head rather surprised at the sudden tension in the air from Vengeance, and in under a second, Casanova was on a rampage in the back of his mind. WHAT THE LIVING FUCK DID YOU DO? the rather irritated voice screamed in the back of Jack's mind and made Ripper seem to suddenly rise to silence it. Several other persona were suddenly in an uproar, and several were acting as the silencers. In the midst of the sudden chaos, Jack Spicer screamed that he had just thought up a new way of making cream cake which seemed to cause Jackie Chan to stop and question it for a good few seconds before starting to fight again. There was too much movement at once, and Black Jack Spade blamed Casanova. The rampage of voices would have eaten him entirely had Jack not drained it with a hard sip of his drink. With that, they all started to silence. Son of a bitch Casanova I swear to hell if you start yelling again.... Ripper was now making all but empty threats that were drowned out by Jack's own mind. Soon there was silence again. In another second, the purple haired man even forced a laugh from himself. "What's wrong?" he asked looking towards Vicki rather lightly as though he could have been asking about the weather or something of that frivolous nature.

Lyall had watched the rather odd look come and go from Jack's face to his question towards the girl before he simply shrugged and figured it was something for the purple haired man to work out seeing as they were his guests. Filling a glass and setting it in front of Jasmine as more of an after thought, Lyall stepped back again and started addressing his shelves.

<sup>Riku gratefully took the drink and sipped at it; it was sweet in addition to strong, and strawberry flavored to boot. Her eyes strayed from her drink to the other people around, besides Jack, and she noted that one of the girls appeared to be frustrated. Her suspicions were confirmed when Jack himself asked the lady what was wrong, and though she figured that the distaste was towards herself Riku couldn't help but stand up smoothly and make her way over to Vengeance.

"Hello, I'm Riku, pleasure to make your acquaintance~" she purred. The woman was attractive, too, which earned one of Riku's wolfish smiles. She hoped that flirting with the lady would either make her back down out of homophobia or.. well, threesomes weren't so bad...</sup>

Vengeance took a sip of her drink as hot tears blurred her vision. What was wrong with her anyway; it wasn't as if she really cared about what Jack thought...right? These thoughts only served to make Vengeance increasingly more upset until the glass was once again shaking in her hand. Setting the glass down so she wouldn't drop it, Vengeance clenched her other hand into a fist in and attempt to stem the tears that threatened to choke off her voice.
Hearing Jack ask her what was wrong did nothing to improve her mood, in fact it seemed to make it worse. How could it be that Jack of all people was the first to ask her those two words in years...was there something wrong with her...? Tears that she could no longer stop ran down her face as her body seemed to shake...that was until Riku came up to her.
Hearing the other woman's voice stopped the tears abruptly and Vengeance stiffened in her chair. That's right...there was another woman in the room...one that Jack seemed to prefer over her. Anger once again overwhelmed Vengeance's thoughts as she heard the purr in the woman...Riku's voice. After what she had done the woman had the nerve to talk to her?!
Turning in her chair, she looked at the woman through what appeared to be a pleasant expression...if it weren't for the fact that she was shooting daggers at the woman. Extending her hand she smiled and obvious fake smile and nodded.
"Vengeance, nice...to meet you..." she said in a somewhat pleasant voice, at least it might have sounded pleasant if she hadn't gritted her teeth after saying her name.

Oh sweet God.... a new personality howled in the back of Jack's mind and nearly made him cringed. Great. Another one.... apparently deeply religious by the context. Who knew at that point. Not Jack. That was for sure. "Oh silly me~" the purple haired man stated aloud. "Vengeance this is Riku~ Riku~ Vengeance. Jasmine, Riku. Riku, Jasmine~There now we all know each other," Jack laughed lightly rubbed the back of his head before setting down his drink and leaning back. Oh god.. they're going to fight Dx make them stop make them stop make them.... Casanova's voice was cut dead silent in the back of Jack's mind, and the purple haired man was now having to repress a giggle. Leaning forwards again, Jack brought a finger to his lip. After another moment, he simply shrugged and laughed.

Outside, a young woman had been leaning on the wall for...a while. From the first time she'd checked her watch to now, it had been...maybe twenty minutes? So not really all that long, but it felt like a lifetime.

However...Yukiko did feel that standing outside a bar for very long was likely to draw attention from someone she'd rather avoid--that is, anyone and everyone except the man who said he knew of an underground Ranger Union of sorts.

To be a bit less conspicuous, she'd withdrawn two of her three Pokemon almost immediately. Aphrodite was bright white and Gardevoir were fairly noticeable anyway, but this one--she glittered in the sunlight like a bad vampire and had light blue, almost cyanish accents. The other withdrawn Pokemon, Persephone, was a vicious and murderous Sneasel who was likely to go off on any man who so much as looked at her trainer the wrong way.

The woman, however, had kept her calmest Pokemon out, her...somewhat oddly named Shuppet, Circe. While she had gathered a distaste of men from Persephone, there'd been no real reason to name the ghost that when she'd followed the woman originally.

As such, the woman went inside the bar without her usual entourage of Pokemon, but only the small ghost. She glanced about, saw the other people gathered at the table, and wished that they weren't there...She was beginning to think her guy wasn't showing up at all, and would rather have as few people as possible witness her...her foolishness.

She sat at the counter, on the other side of the room as the other patrons, and patiently waited for the bartender to finish what he was doing so she could order.

<sup>Taking her seat back and inclining her head, Riku spoke to everyone. "It is nice to meet you both..~"

Sipping her drink, she leaned back in her seat and swirled the pink liquid around by twirling her wrist. She took another sip, examined the drink, then looked back to Jack. She opened her mouth to say something else, but her eyes shifted to a movement by the door; someone else had entered the room.

Another gorgeous lady, of course. Riku grinned again and sat normally in her seat, placing her drink on the table in front of her again. She watched the woman cross the room and sit to be waited on, debating whether or not to go sit by her. The purple-eyed woman decided to watch for a moment more then go back to her drink instead..</sup>

Vengeance was still glaring at Riku when Jack began to speak, introducing them to each other evidentally; little by little, her anger was diffused as it became evident that Riku was just a friend after all...or it appeared that way at least but then why had he bought her a drink? Jealous thoughts once again swarmed through Vengeance's mind as angry tears once again resurfaced. If that Riku so much as looked at Jack funny Arceus she would...
Then Jack began to laugh, interrupting Vengeance's thoughts. She didn't know what was so funny or what had made him start to laugh but...it was contagious. Setting down her drink and bringing her hand to her mouth to try and conceal the smile that was playing at her lips, Vengeance looked at Jack and wondered what was going on. Despite her attempt to stop her own laughter, Vengeance could no longer hold it in and began to laugh along with Jack, her anger at Riku completely forgotten.
After a while Vengeance gained control of her laughter and smiled at Jack...but her smile appeared to be a little flirtatious now as she looked at the man. Finishing the rest of her drink, she set the glass down and leaned forward on the counter, staring at Jack through a half-closed eye before giggling softly much as a school girl would on their first date.
Something in the back of Vengeance's mind screamed objections but she pushed it aside, she had long since stopped listening to that voice that told her to hold back her feelings; after all, why would something that felt so good...be so...wrong....?
Leaning still closer, Vengeance blinked slowly and reached across the table with one hand, drawing him in before kissing him...

Lyall turned his head, registered that there was someone else to meet, and walked over towards the woman that had entered smiling lightly as he went. "Hello," the blue haired man grinned happily. "What would you like to drink?" In the back of his mind, Lyall was already coming up with a list in his head in case she didn't know what she wanted. For one reason or another, she didn't look like the usual drinking type to him, so Lyall remained ready for the return word of 'what do you have' more or less.

Jack had been about to continue the conversation when he had caught the look that Vengeance had in her eye and momentarily questioned it. Well now.. did she want to play with him? However, he had little time to think it all through when the kiss came about. The sudden disturbingly happy scream that came from Casanova barely registered in Jack's mind as he returned the kiss that was put to him and gently brought a hand to the back of Vengeance's head and kissed her more as his other arm wrapped around her back pulling her a bit closer.

Scoreeeeeeee~! Score score score heheheheheheheh~~!<3 Casanova squealed happily as he back-flipped several times in the back of Black Jack Spade's mind, and not even Ripper could silence him at that moment in time. Several other voices were groaning about Casanova being too happy, but at least one part of Jack was happy. BJ himself very much enjoyed the kiss in all instances.

Yukiko hesitated for a few moments. She...had no idea, really. She tried to think of any sort of stock drink there could be, and could only think of the champagne punch that was served back 'home'. ...That obviously wasn't happening--even if the bar HAD such a thing, there was no way she could afford it. ...Hm.

"Do you have something--er--minty? And, uh...not terribly strong. I...er, well I've no idea what my tolerance is..." Gah, why couldn't she be smooth and natural like basically everyone else in a bar, ever. The group over to the side seemed to be having fun, what with the silver-haired one kissing the singular man at the table. There were a few other people in the bar as well, but each seemed to be minding their own business, it seemed.

Circe floated about behind Yukiko, feeding on the nigh-staple emotion of self-doubt and awkwardness emanating from Yukiko, though... this was pretty standard fare, to be honest. She doubted her trainer would mind if she wandered about inside the room, sampling the tastes of the different people's emotions here.

<sup>Riku's eyes narrowed and her grin widened; this lady was not at all comfortable in this bar, was she? She could use this to her advantage, she realized, and removed herself from the seat she had chosen only to place herself in the seat next to the new trainer, sipping her drink again.

"If you don't mind lime, I'd try a frozen mint daiquiri~" she purred, eyes on the dwindling pink liquid in her glass as though she wasn't actually interested in the lady at all.</sup>

Vengeance closed her eyes as Jack drew her closer to him, enjoying the kiss; she wasn't even consciously aware of her decision to kiss Jack it just sorta felt...right...somehow. Her mind was still filled with thoughts that but she shoved them aside every time. There was a part of her that wanted this...longed for it...someone cared about her after all this time and Vengeance wanted that more than anything else.
Somewhere in the back of her mind, something screamed, that scream felt and sounded so real that Vicki immediately pulled back, looking both a little startled and content at the same time. For a moment she just looked into eyes when she realized what she had just done and immediately felt mortified. What if he hadn't...why did...how could...? Pulling out of Jack's embrace, she looked down at her lap, hands clenched into fists so tight that her knuckles were white.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean...I shouldn't have done that..."[/size]she whispered as tears welled up in her eyes. Vengeance just sat there, mortified at what had happened when the scream came back to her mind. Fear filled her mind as she remembered the scream and what possible reaction Jack might have to the kiss, so much so that she had started to shake without realizing it.
Vengeance's mind was filled with panicked thoughts about Jack, about the scream, and a mass of other things. Admist all this Vengeance's eye patch was starting to itch; lifting up a trembling hand, she ripped the eye patch off her face and clenched it in her fist, not caring if the thing was crumpled.
Tears were rolling down Vengeance's cheeks as she sat there, shaking and afraid. Clenching her fists even tighter, she started shaking her head, allowing her panicked thoughts to overwhelm her. Jack wouldn't like her anymore...she would never be loved...what was that scream...
"I'm....sorry..."[/size]Vengeance whimpered as she continued shaking like a leaf.
