There was a soft thud of metal hitting the ground and the sound of something jumping back. Aura smiled to herself as she looked at the big machines that were in this room, and the shiny metal thing that she had manged to pull out of one of them. She wasn't sure what it was but it was shiny and that was good enough for her. Grasping the metal in her jaws she found that it had points to her, and it felt like it would make a good throwing toy. It was late at night and she had manged to lose Hades who was the one looking after her. Her big brother never played with her, so she was out here looking for her own toys. Shaking the gear around she soon let go of it and watched as it rolled across the floor and hit one of the walls with a thud. A playful bark was always heard with this as she ran towards the gear to grab it again.

The soft sound of feet on flooring could be heard down the hallway, and soon enough, Chii stopped and stared inwards from the archway of the door. The Chinchou who worked the night shift on a daily basis had heard the sound of the gears and things and had come to investigate. As he saw the Jolteon, the Chinchou believed it to be Kei for a moment but then realized this Jolteon was far too small to be such. <Hello> he stated rather coolly.

Aura flicked one of her ears when she heard footsteps coming and looked up to see some kind of pokemon. The gear that she had been playing with lay on the floor her attention now on the Chinchou. He head tilted to the side for a few seconds and then to the other side but she smiled. 'Hi!' She bounced over feeling the floor somewhat slick under her pads. 'Who are you? What are you? Do you live here?' The flurry of question was shot out of her mouth faster then one would think possible.

Ah went through Chii's mind as he looked at the Jolteon. So she was a child. He could tell most children from adults rather easily even if they were evolved. In truth, the Chinchou wasn't fazed in the least by this notion and instead simply raised his electrical sacks and made them glow rather lightly as though knowing or probably guessing that they would distract the Jolteon just a bit more. <My name is Chii, and I am a Chinchou. I live here and have been here for a while now. Who are you, my dear?>

As she kept her gaze on the other pokemon she saw his electric sacks start to glow and stared at them. Her head tilted to the side again when he answered her questions, and grinned. <Ah> the Chinchou answered back with a slow nod towards the Jolteon. <I see... > He slowly waved the electrical sacks in the air more or less making a glowing effect now. <And why were you alone? It's not usually fun to be alone, is it?> he asked with a rather monotone voice.

Ah... Chii sighed a bit wishing that he would be at least allowed to have peace on his night shift, but then again, he never really knew peace on the job as it was. However, one could always hope, maybe. After a moment, the Chinchou simply nodded a bit. <Why don't we put that gear back, and I'll play with you?> he offered rather coolly.

[/size][/center][/b] Aura flicked one of her ears as the other spoke and looked back at the shiny gear. She was reminded of why she picked it since even in the dark it was shiny. When Chii spoke about playing with her she gave a small happy bark and grabed the metal gear back up. Running around in circles for a few seconds she found the machine that she had ripped the gear out of. She looked at it a bit confuessed though. She wasn't sure how to put it back in and just tilted her head to the side. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sup] |

Chii looked to the machine that the gear had been taken from and then seemed to sigh to himself. He had been around machines all his life, and because of this, he knew a limited amount of mechanics. The best that could be done at this point was to simply leave the gear in front of the machine and alert Yue to it in the morning. <Just leave it in front of the machine for now> he stated aloud before starting to turn.

[/size][/center][/b] Aura smiled as Chii suggested they go down to the den and find something to do. She gave a brisk nodd before her grin got wider. 'Race ya there.' With that the small Jolteon took off her claws clicking on the metal floor. As she ran she started to pick up speed and didn't notice that at the end the hallway turned. To late, there was a tud as she ran right into the wall. Dazed for a few seconds Aura gave herself a shake before she took off down the hall and reached the den without running into anything else. Chii cringed and then sweat dropped when the Jolteon hit the wall. However, after another moment, he sighed and followed without another word. As they got into the den area, the Chinchou looked around with careful eyes before finally nodding to himself and walking towards the couch.

Aura looked around the room as her ears flicked and her head tilted to one side again. She looked back when she saw Chii coming into the room and grinned, 'so what are we going to do?' There didn't look like there was a lot to do in this room, but then again she could be wrong.

The Chinchou shrugged and then started to look around. His original mentality had been rather simplistic in the idea that they'd go so that Chii wouldn't be forced to knock out the Jolteon for messing with the machines. Looking around, Chii took a pillow off the couch and threw it towards the small electrical pokemon.

Aura let out a happy bark when the pillow was thrown and jumped up to hit it with her head. It flew back up and once it came down low enough she hit it with her head again. She did this for a few minutes before she finally missed and the pillow hit the ground. Kicking it with one of her feet she manged to send it flying again back at Chii.

Chii caught the pillow rather easily with his electrical sacks and then threw it back without much effort. He was keeping an ear out for any other motion in the area as well as continuing with this rather... odd game. In truth, it was simply what had come to mind, and the Chinchou wasn't about to go back on it now that it had proved to be a rather good distraction to the Jolteon child.

Aura watched as Chii caught the pillow with ease and threw it back to her. Hitting it with her head again, she watched as the pillow flopped around in the air. She had never felt anything so soft and wondered what made it soft like this. The only thing that came close to this that she knew of was soft sand. Tossing it back she let out another bark, happy with this game.
