Soft lullabies (Open-Mod)

[Snow Soul]

Mekura felt the Pichu humph at being called a baby. "Oh of course your older. Sorry but you just look so cute." Of course Mekura's words would be odd to anyone who knew she was blind. Standing up carefully she kept the little ones in her arms. "Yeah. Just gonna be a bit bruised." Carefully she started back up the stairs as she felt Risa watching her. Kaze stayed where he was then decided to join the other two pokemon playing tag. Risa followed Mekura up and peaked over at the Skarmory. ("How old are they?") She was very curious since she had only been around Togepi for so long. Plus she wanted to talk to the Skarmory now that Risa knew she had only been protecting her nest. Mekura listened and didn't hear the Spearow. Slowly she heard his feathers. He was pretty good at flying quietly.

Pikachu was now running the other way but he tripped and went rolling faster than he was even running. The only problem was, now that he stopped rolling, he was extremely dizzy. The Spearow, who had been flying around unnoticed, finally saw what happened to the Pikachu and wanted to save him. He flew down towards pokemon that was it and started taunting them in poke-language. He kept flying around and going up then down quickly in hopes that the Pikachu could be ready to run again by that point.

The Skarmory looks at them from he next. Some were older and looked about half her size, one was nearly her size, though it wasn't her mate, and some were extremely tiny because they were born not to long ago. <Many ages.> she says slowly. She still kept an eye on them but she didn't look like she was going to attack.

[Jay]

Ring found his eyes moving around rather confusedly as he tried to figure out which one to tag. @_@ After a few seconds, he finally made a rather dramatic flying leap to try and tag the Spearow but inevitably failing due to his short size. The purple eyed man seemed to nod and then started upwards carefully again. However, at last step, he noticed that the step had been worn a bit more than the others. "Be careful of this last step~" he stated aloud as he finally made it to the platform of sorts.

Mekura tested the last step as his warning then completely skipped it deciding not even to try it. Standing on the platform she walked forward a bit so not to be on the edge of the steps. Risa nodded at that as she skipped up the steps and went over to the nest. Careful not to touch anything she sat and watched the young pokemon. ("They're cute!") Kaze watched Ring and chuckled before he spoke up. ("I'm playing too")

The Spearow was happy that he dodged and was flying off now. He was making sure he didn't fly too high because it wouldn't be fair. The Pikachu was back up now and going again. Pichu and still holding onto the Togepi with a smile. The Skarmory sits down and watches her. It didn't seem scared of them now and one of the older, but not the oldest, started walking over to Risa and inspected her.

[Jay]

The green haired man turned now and bent down upon seeing the nest of sorts. His boots did make it hard to bend his knees, but he had gotten it for the most part at least. "Wow quite a few..." he commented looking at the group of sorts. After a few seconds, he found his legs going to sleep and stood up again. Ring looked towards Kaze and then started to run as fast as he could towards the other pokemon making to tag him.

Mekura sat on the platform so she didn't accidentally trip over any babies wondering from the nest. Gently she tickled Togepi sending her into bouts of laughing squeals. Then she tried to tickle the Pichu a soft smile appearing on her face. Risa giggled and stayed where she was. She didn't want to upset the mother. ("Hello! I'm Risa.") Kaze moved but let Ring tackle him. Grinning he took off after the Pikachu since he was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to tag the flying pokemon.

The Skarmory seems to be smiling as it watched them. Some human contact might be good. The younger ones looked so confused as they watched the humans. The slightly older ones were curious and were coming closer to them. The oldest one that was still a kid went over to the green haired man. The mother watched them closely but made no threats. One of the kids went over to Risa and turned his head in many funny ways as he looked at her.

The Pichu was getting tickled and bursts out laughing. He was extremely ticklish over the simplest things. When somebody tries to... oh man, he can't stop.

Pikachu was running the best he could when he saw Kaze coming. He just wasn't quite fast enough as he was slowly caught up to and tagged. He then went running after Ring again. The bird took a rest from flying and was hopping on the ground now.

Alvaro Gean seemed to smile lightly as he caught sight of the older of the children coming towards him. He knew pokemon anatomy a bit too well for his own good and could all but determine the age of it even from where he was. Bending his knees and finally coming to a crouched position, the green haired man smiled lightly towards the bird. "Are you the big brother?" he grinned a bit mildly feeling oddly sour that he lacked siblings in that moment. However, said moment was short and gone in another second.

Ring was tagged so fast that he barely had any time to react what so ever. However, he seemed to smirk a bit at this and then quickly started after the bird pokemon who was now hopping. <I'm going to get you!> he grinned as he moved towards the other.

Mekura smiled at the Pichu erupted into laughter. Young laughs were so adorable. Smiling she pulled her hand away and let him catch his breath while Togepi seemed to yawn. All her naps today had been really short. Carefully she wrapped both babies in her scarf. Pichu could probably use a nap also. Sleeping was good for young pokemon. Risa giggled and stuck out a hand to the Skarmory who had walked up to her. <Hello! I'm Risa. I'm a Ralts.> The bird pokemon were absolutely beautiful Maybe the mommy Skarmory would let one of her babies travel with them. Kaze laughed as Ring was tagged again. Staying where he was he watched the psychic chase after the bird pokemon.

The Older Skarmory smiles and nods. He was the oldest of them all. He wasn't a mean brother though. He slowly sat down by the man. He interested the bird the most at this point. The Skarmory looking at Risa wasn't the youngest, but it still appeared younger. It smiles. <Skarmory.> it says happily. It turned it's head as it kept watching her.

The Pichu kept laughing until she stopped and he was giggling for a few moments before he was done. He smiles happily and snuggles in the scarf. It.. was warm. He hadn't felt something like it for a while. He wanted to stay up and be a big kid to see the action, but he let out a squeaky yawn. He slowly cuddled up with the Togepi and found his eyes slowly coming closed. So.. tired... He was soon out of it.

The Spearow barely had a chance to flap his wings to fly before he was tagged. So not fair ._. He wanted to run like the others. He started flying and dive bombed towards Kaze quickly.

The green haired man nodded a bit and then moved up a hand to pet the Skarmory from the back of his head down his neck. Heh, metal pokemon were pretty interesting creatures, indeed....He wouldn't mind having a flier of sorts either. "So what's it like living here?" he asked the Skarmory with a light grin. He could... never really imagine staying in one place for too long anymore... unless something proved to be very interesting to the point that he stayed.

Ring grinned upon finally tagging and then seemed to yawn a bit tired. This game had all but gone on forever x3 thought it was incredibly fun, heh...

Risa giggled and very carefully stroked the birds head like she had seen Mekura do to the spearow. Risa wondered what she could talk about with the Skarmory but she was having too much fun admiring the young Skarmory. <So are you the second oldest?> She figured he was young but not the youngest. Mekura heard the Pichu yawn and chuckled. Softly she started to hum her lullaby. Togepi was almost asleep instantly once she started. Leaning back against the wall she closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the Skarmorys. She love baby pokemon. Almost as much as she loved listening to them grow up. Kaze chuckled and jumped up avoiding the Spearow, then took off in the opposite direction toward the Pikachu.

The Oldest bird smiles happily and looks at him. <I was told just a bit ago that I'm about to fly the nest and soar away.> the Skarmory says.

The next Skarmory looks at her and blinks. <No... I'm the third.> he says slowly. There were a lot of them, so being third wasn't that bad. The Pichu listened to the lullaby and was asleep right after Togepi. He.. he wasn't taking a nap.. he just hadn't slept for a while. He wasn't a baby! DX Okay.. maybe he was.. but baby pokemon got special treatment!

The Spearow missed and looked sad. He swooped around and flew right into the Pikachu. The Spearow took back off, a little dazed. Pikachu went running at Kaze.

[Jay]

Though Alvaro could not speak fluent pokemon, he got the general translation of it and nodded his head rather slowly before finally resolving to sit flat on the ground rather than in this odd crouched position. "Ah, any idea where you're headed when ya leave?" he asked with an easy smile. Ring looked around carefully and then slowly moved off into a darker corner to hide and rest for a short bit at least.

Mekura hummed softly as she felt both pokemon drift off to sleep. Slowly she finished the lullaby and just listened to the conversation. From Risa's mind she got the admiration for the steel bird pokemon. Maybe she could talk the Mother into letting one of her children travel with her. Risa nodded in understanding. <When do you get to leave the nest?> Feeling Mekura's thoughts she thought she might want to ask the Mother Skarmory to see if one of her babies could go with them. Mekura always took really good care of her pokemon.

The Oldest Skarmory smiles happily and thinks about it. <Not a clue~ I haven't been far from this tower.> he says with a sigh. He only practiced flying around the tower and sometimes trips he wasn't supposed to. He never got to see the world.

The younger one tilts it's head. <I still have at least a week.> it says slowly. He really wanted to get out, but just couldn't yet.

Pikachu and Spearow both stopped. This.. was really tiring. Spearow was having trouble even keeping flight now. <I think we should take a break.> Pikachu says. They both collapsed after that.

[Jay]

"Ah well that's always fun~" the green haired man answered back more or less getting the jist of what was being said. He assumed rather well, it seemed, heh. "Looking into new places... see different things... I tend to get bored sometimes and just walk off in a random direction and go where my legs take me, heh."

Ring seemed to notice that the others had settled down a bit more and ended up moving towards them with an easy smile on his face. <Well that was fun!> he stated rather excitedly despite his fatigue.

Kaze laughed and basically glided around them They didn't have much endurance. Grinning he folded in his legs and sat near the rest of them. He knew Risa would be laughing if she had seen how they had collapsed. Risa could go an entire afternoon playing games on and off the whole time then be tired around night time.

Risa nodded and thought about it. <If your mommy said it was ok would you like to travel with me and Mekura? Mekura always takes good care of everyone. And she always has food on her.> Food worked with some pokemon and Travel worked with others. Mekura needed more pokemon to look out for her. That was obvious when she fell down the stairs.

The oldest Skarmory was so amazed as he listened and got most of what was said. <You go... anywhere? I would love to do that!> he suddenly says really happily.

The other Skarmory was thinking about it. <I... don't know. Momma doesn't let us fly away until we've been here for however long. As I said.. I still have a week...> he says slowly. He mommy probably wouldn't let them, but they could try.

Pikachu and Spearow were still resting. Pichu was still asleep, barely even moving from the spot he had chose.
