Van was walking like he didn't have a care in the world. He needed a water Pokemon and a strong one to. So he wouldn't mess with some of the small fries. Van as always wanted a rare Pokemon and was determined to get one. He walked in search of one.

A Shellder could be seen sleeping on the beach not far away. Far out in the water, what appeared to be something bobbling in the water could be seen. Would Van go out and investigate what it was or stay on the beach?

Van looked at the shellder and sighed. If only it was a Cloyster then it would be worth a battle. Then Van noticed a Bubbling in the water. With a curious eye he wen't over to the water. He was prepared for anything.

A Kingdra in the shallows suddenly surfaced and squirted Van with some water rather playfully laughing out as she did so. How he would take this, she didn't know or care. It was fun to her, and that was all that mattered at the moment, heh.

Van now wet had an an annoyed expression on his face. He patted his wet cloths to dry them just a little. He grabbed a pokeball from his damp pocket. He tossed in the air caught it then threw it to release L. The Elctrive charged up some energy in anticipation.
"Use a thunder right there." Van had pointed to the place where the kingdra surfaced. L roared and unleashed the electric move in the pond. Van smirked a little bit.

The electrical attack ran through the water (and hell the salt in the water all but conducted the electricity that much more) and shocked the Kingdra. She cried out startled by the electrical attack. However, because of her dragon blood, she held no extreme weakness to electricity and managed to stand strong against the attack. Shaking her head and looking mildly hurt before sighing. She shook her head and turned away sadly as though she were more of a child that had taken a punishment of some sort for a prank rather than a pokemon.

Van looked at the Pokemon and face palmed himself. "Use another thunder attack." L looked at the other Pokemon for a brief second. Then unleashed the massive electric attack. Van would have to train this water type but it would be worth it.

The electricity went through the water, yet it hit a barrier before it could hit the Kingdra. A protect was now in affect, it seemed. Looking over towards the electrical pokemon, the Kingdra suddenly smirked and used an Attract to squirt a heart shaped substance at L.

The technique had failed. Van wiped the sweat from his brow because that would have been a pain to deal with. "Use thunder again!." The massive electric type used the powerful attack yet again.Van was hoping to knock it out by now.

Again, the Thunder met a Protect, and all the Kingdra did was stare and shake her head slowly rather sadly. After that, she disappeared under the water possibly using a Dive or actually swimming away one couldn't be too sure at that point. On the surface, it became rather quiet. ._.; Did it really swim away?

Van waited for a moment until his face went blank. =__=". "Please tell me that did not just happen." Van said and looked at EL who then shrugged. Van took of his shoes and jumped in the water. And swum down to see if he could find the Pokemon.

Sure enough, if Van looked deep enough into the salty waters, he would catch sight of where the Kingdra had nestled down sadly amongst some seaweed and things. She was still sad that the man hadn't wanted to play with her and couldn't figure out why. However, after a moment, her head jerked upwards and watched as the man swam above her. Oh hey~ Did he want to play now?

Van looked at the Pokemon and waited for it to move. He hoped it did not attack him for right now he was defenseless. So Van just waved at the Pokemon.

The Kingdra waved back as best she could and seemed to swim closer o the man now. Bumping his shoulder with her jet-like nose, she giggled and smiled before starting to swim off. Oh... was that a game of tag? Indeed, it appeared so at least.

Van looked at the Pokemon He was following it when he suddenly had a lack of air. He desperately swam to the top as fast as he could. Doing constant strokes feeling the pressure on his lungs. The boy thought they were about to burst. That's when he hit the top he went up so the water was about at his waist and then back down and began to tread. He took some heavy breathes. L looked at him like he had 2 head's. "Ill Be back." van said with a smirk before he wen't under again. He searched for the kingdra had it run away?

The Kingdra had not run away, in fact, she had swam back when the man had suddenly seemed to change directions and had headed upwards. Now she was only a few meters off, and upon seeing him come back, she smiled and swam backwards a bit before waiting to see if he's actually chase her.

Van reached out and tried to grab the tiny Pokemon. It wanted to Play he thought to himself? and I attacked, Man I'm an ass Van said in his mind. How long could he hold his breathe for? He was going to find out.

Upon feeling a hand manage to get her, the Kingdra laughed and then turned around to chase Van. Now this was more fun! More fun indeed~

Van swam Away from the kingdra could he beat it? He wouldn't put his money on it swimming upwards trying to escape the kingdra's touch. It was a game of tag after all.

The Kingdra swam just behind the man for a while giggling to herself as she did so. Finally poking him with her squirter nose, she pushed him up nearly straight out of the water more or less deciding that the human needed some air whether he needed to truly or not. After a moment, she sunk back down and began to swim about again. Swimming in the water not far off was a Marill who had then resolved to play as well quickly rushing forwards and calling out. A slightly more timid looking Poliwag came over as well.
