Kero smiled at both her complement and agreement not to tell Charizard. Kero really was proud of his charizard though. The pokemon had been with him for a long time and had only been growing stronger day by day. He knew Charizard would always be there for him no matter what. Charizard wasn’t paying any attention to Kero or Rikka. He was too busy with the other pokemon and figuring out how to actually play. He had finally finished sending the small flames of fire at them and landed in a spot where he had melted the snow. Now he was simply standing there, stomping his foot to see if he could cause Caerus to fall over in the snow again. “ A breeder? Humm.” Kero had never thought about being a breeder before. Then again there were many jobs he never thought about doing. His path had already been set for him the day he was born. He didn’t mind though. Being a count and all that entitled it seemed to suit him just fine. “ Doesn’t matter what you do in life and how good you are at it. You’ll always feel you can do better and there will always be someone around to keep challenging you.” he had been told this by his father a long time ago. It was the passion of what you were doing that kept you going and the challenge of the others that helped you get stronger. So long as you were willing to always try. “ I’ve never seen anyone use pokemon to help them paint though.” Kero said as he thought about it for a moment, “ I’ve seen pokemon help clean and cook. Also seen them fight along side knights.” An image of his butler and the Mudkips cleaning the bathroom together came into Kero’s mind and he chuckled to himself a bit before looking up just in time to see Charizard making a huge snowball. “ Ah, Charizard what are you doing?” Charizard didn’t reply to Kero, nor did he turn around to look at him. He simply smiled a big toothy smile as he got ready to apparently through the snowball at Moon.

Rikka grinned over his smile. She prided herself on getting others to smile. It was fun. Looking over at the Pokemon she watched as the Charizard stomped his feet over something. Blinking she watched Caerus trying to stop to go see what the stomping was only to slide into a tree and causing all the snow to fall down. Popping out of it he happily walked around until he got to Charizard and shook off the snow. Grinning he took off running to hid behind Rikka.
"Yeah. I love Raising Pokemon and knowing they have a good life." At his comment she looked over at him and wondered who he was repeating. He was right. She didn't mind challenges. Smiling she tucked her sketch book back in her bag to finish later. Standing up she blinked and looked over at Charizard. He was already taking aim at Moon.
Moon watched Caerus run around and chased after him happily. She didn't seem to notice the Charizard had a surprise for her. Rikka smiled and scooped up some snow forming a snow ball. Tossing it at Kero she took off running.

Charizard laughed when his stomping trick had worked. Though while he laughed at Caerus he had not expected the young pokemon to shake all the snow off onto him. It caused Charizard to stop laughing abruptly in shock. It was then that he had started making the large snowball. So unlike Kero she focused her life to the pokemon of the world. His views were on the people. He silently wished his were on the pokemon as well. The pokemon were so much more care free. War, violence and death didn’t follow them around like it did people. But that was not something to think about at such a peaceful moment like this. Pure agony washed over Kero’s face when he felt the snowball hit the side of his head and trickle down his neck. For a moment he stood there in shock until finally a surge of energy ran though him. “ Don’t think just because you’re a woman you can get away with that!” He yelled out as bent down to pack some snow into his hands. Quickly he got up and began to chase after her with his snowball. Charizard went to toss his own snowball at Moon but as he raised it over his head it fell apart. For a moment the Charizard looked a bit disappointed in himself but then suddenly that sly toothy grin returned. Standing with his head up proudly he opened his wings up and gave a few heavy flaps causing the snow in front of him to blow up into the sky. It was enough of a wind that Kero found himself swept off his feet and into the snow. Not to mention the snow sent into the air by Charizards wind had covered him from head to toe. “ Ch-charizard...!” Kero brought his fist up in front of him, a rather annoyed look upon his face. Charizard paid no mind to this however. he simply stood there and laughed at his own brilliance.

Caerus grinned when his new friend stood in shock as having snow shook off on to him. Laughing in his own way he chased after Moon trying to get her with some snow. Looking over at Rikka he had watched her toss the snow ball and tried to make one with his paws rolling it around on the Ground as it got bigger.
A laugh erupted from Rikka as she used her long legs to her advantage. Scooping up some snow while she ran she was suddenly swept off her feet from the gust of air from Charizard. Gasping she hit the snow and was covered in it.Sitting up she laughed at the fun of it all. Though it all terms it would probably only encourage the Fire pokemon to do it again.
Moon gave a surprised cry as she was covered in snow from Charizard along with Caerus. Though Caerus was looking around to see if it was gonna snow anymore. Chuckling Rikka stood up and brushed most of the Snow off. Watching Charizard she noticed he was distracted by his ego. Grinning she scooped up snow again and formed a snow ball. Aiming for Charizard she let it loose and looked around all innocent.

A rather shocked expression fell on Charizards face when he felt the snowball hit him. He turned to wards Kero and gave him a glare as if blaming him for the snowball. Kero’s eyes instantly widened knowing that look all too well. “ Oh no, it wasn’t me! I swear!” Kero exclaimed as he quickly got to his feet and began to run. Charizard ran after him, catching up rather fast as he scooped him by back. “ Ch-Charizard put me down!” Kero yelled out as the dragon turned with him in his mouth. He walked over to deep spot in the snow before dropping Kero with a ‘thud’. Once again Charizard burst out into laughter as Kero slowly sat up. An idea then came to Kero’s mind as he tried to think of a way to get Charizard back. Quickly he pointed up at the Huanter, “ He’s going to through a snowball at you!” Kero yelled out with a fake worried expression on his face. Charizard instantly turned around and glared at the Haunter. He then began to pack some snow together getting ready to throw it at the ghost pokemon. Kero giggled at himself slightly as he saw this. He had a feeling the ghost pokemon wouldn’t be so easy to for Charizard to hit with the snow. While Charizard was busy trying to get the Haunter, Kero made himself another snowball and tossed it towards Rikka. Hopefully he had caught her off guard. Payback for the one she had hit him with.

Rikka watched at the Charizard immediately blamed Kero. Laughter burst from her throat as she watched Charizard. Suddenly he picked Kero up and put him in a deep snow bank. Chuckling she scooped up a snow ball and tossed it at Caerus causing him to trip over Moon. Caerus yelped at falling in the snow then raced toward Rikka and licked her face leaving slober. Laughing Rikka petted him and set him on his way.
Going to take off after Moon she slipped on the ice and went face forward into a pile of snow even as the Snowball from Kero flew past her head. Rolling over she laughed and proceeded to make a Snow angel. Haunter looked at Charizard while he was making a snowball and chuckled. It would just sail through him. Moon watched and grinned before encasing the snow ball in a very tone down shadowball. It would definitely hit the over confident Haunter.

Kero would have been a bit embarrassed that his snowball had missed Rikka, but he could only laugh when she instead fell face first into the snow. His attention then went back to Charizard who had finally finished making his snow ball. Charizard grinned and flung the snowball at the Haunter. He hadn’t know that Moon had encased it with a shadow ball. Once again Charizard looked rather proud of himself. Kero on the other hand was confused on how the snowball could have even been a threat to Haunter. “ I don’t know about you sometimes Charizard.” Kero laughed as he approached his pokemon. Charizard lowered his head for Kero to rub under his chin. As he rubbed the chin Kero looked over at Rikka who had made a snow angle. “ So what are you’re plains now that you’ve wrapped up drawing?” Kero asked feeling no need to rush to town.

Suddenly Haunter was hit by the snowball and looked rather confused. Looking at Moon he watched her walking toward Rikka as if she hadn't done anything. Grabbing a lot of snow he flew out her and dropped it all on Moon. Moon jumped out of the snow and shook her head before she chuckled at the Haunter. He seemed happier now that he had gotten Moon back.
Rikka looked over at Kero as he addressed her. "Hmmm. I dunno probably play for a while then draw some more. I get bored being indoors too long." Which lead to drawing random things and half the time her pokemon or someone elses pokemon. Though she really should use this time to stock up on supplies and get a new sketch book. Though her pokemon needed this time to play. Sitting up she didn't spot Caerus who was sneaking up on her. Suddenly she was tackled into the snow by her growlithe. Laughing she sprinkle snow on him and got a slobbery tongue on her cheek.

Kero found himself a bit jealous of her reply. It seemed so many people now a day had such care free lives while others worked most of there life away. It wasn't that he felt the ones living the care free life were lazy, just lucky. If everyone worked their entire life than there wouldn't be anyone around to enjoy it. Sure one could say that if everyone pitched in the equal amount of work than there wouldn't be an issue with some over working and under working but Kero knew that would never happen. It wasn't even worth wasting a breath on. Some people were just too lazy while others simply loved being over worked. Besides, it's what made everyone different.
Kero was one of the many who often found himself working way more than he needed to. Luckily he knew how to take breaks... sometimes. Actually most of his breaks happened by mistake. Like today for example. He had been originally planning to set up some information about a dangerous person before finding the nearest library. Instead he was out here playing games with a girl he had only just met. Even if he hadn’t been born a noble and had duties to attend to he probably would still would find ways to over work.
“Seem’s like a peaceful day” Kero grinned as another rumble from the mountains was heard through the tree’s. It wasn’t as loud as the first one, “I heard a lot of people come out here to ski. I’ve never tried it before though.” Charizard laughed as he tried to imagine Kero skiing. It seemed the fire pokemon didn’t think Kero would be all that good at the sport. “You wouldn’t be able to ski either!” Kero retorted back at the dragon, “You’d just sink”

Rikka would work once she had her pokefarm. It would be a peaceful play where all her pokemon she would have breed herself! Oh and the wild pokemon could come too! A place where every one was safe and happy and could come and go as they pleased. She would have warm shelters for them all and lots of poke food. Probably have an orchard too. For a few minutes she spaced out thinking about her dream home. She couldn't wait but she had lots to learn and needed to have more money before she could do any of that. It was a long shot dream but she was determined to get there one step at a time.
Moon walked carefully over to Rikka who seemed to have spaced out thinking again. At least she wasn't walking. She would have walked into something by now. Deciding to leave her alone for now she walked over to Caerus and told him Rikka was spacing out again and to be careful. When Kero started to talk again though Rikka pulled herself back and pushed her dream to the back of her mind. "It is a nice day. Glad we got to have some fun." At his comment on skiing she chuckled. After him and his charizard apparently were arguing over who could ski and who couldn't. "Naw I think Charizard would slide!"
Getting up carefully she hoped she wouldn't leave a mark in the snow angel. Once she was out of it she turned and looked in. It had turned out pretty good if she said so herself. Smiling she looked over at Kero before she finally felt the chill. Maybe it was time to head back to the hotel. Some hot chocolate sounded really good! "Wanna go back to the Hotel with us and have hot chocolate?"

“Maybe tumble and slide” kero laughed getting a rather nasty look from Charizard. The pokemon huffed before giving Kero a light nudge with his lag almost causing Kero to fall over. Kero then looked back at Riika when she asked if they would like to go back to the hotel with her for hot chocolate. Before he had a chance to answer Charizard nodded quickly and let out a rather excited sounding growl. It seemed he really wanted hot chocolate too.
Kero simply laughed at this, “I guess my minds me made up for me.” Kero teased as Charizard nodded his head again, “But it would be nice to warm up a bit before heading to the city.” After all it was no good to get sick from the cold. That would only slow him down and cause problems. Kero rarely got sick but he hated when he did. The worst was when he had spent too long in the sun and ended up getting heat stroke. It was a common illness in the desert where his home was. Most of the time he made sure to keep water with him. He had a feeling he wouldn’t get heat stroke out in the cold though.
After agreeing to go for some hot chocolate Kero waited for Rikka to lead the way before following her. It was probably a good thing they were heading back to the hotel. The rumbles in the mountains made Kero worry about their safety a bit.

Rikka chuckled and watched him fall over because of the Charizard. Moon looked over just as Kero fell over and wondered who did it. Rikka was a klutz and you couldn't get much worse then Rikka. Rikka ran into doors on daily basis if she got distracted. Though for some reason the pokemon with her never got hurt unless they were battling. In which case Rikka was always careful to take care of the injured pokemon first. Caerus perked up at the mention of hot chocolate. Trotting over he wagged his tail then looked over at Haunter.
Haunter grinned and raced the Growlithe to the hotel. They would wait for the others there. Moon shook her head at the two and nudged Rikka in the Right direction even as Rikka spoke to Kero. "Great! I have found that the Hot chocolate is the best I've had so far." Grinning she grabbed her bag and hefted it onto her shoulders. Moving toward the Hotel she chuckled at Moon. Moon had to correct three times on the way to the Hotel. Once their she opened the door and held it open for them all. Haunter and Caerus ran inside quickly followed by Moon.
Humming slightly she waited for Kero and Charizard to walk in before she ran to her room and dropped her bag off and ran back. Her coat was also missing. So apparently she planned to stay indoors for a while. "Lets go!" Smiling she led the way to the dining room. Waving at the chef who was looking at the kitchen window he waved back. Selecting a big booth she slipped in as Moon jumped up next to her and Caerus crawled under the table to get to her other side. Haunter decided to float next to her Growlithe.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero stood up himself up, brushing the snow off before rushing over to Rikka and following her towards the hotel. “It’s not very often I have hot chocolate,” He claimed after she told him it was the best hot chocolate she had so far, “I’m native to the South and it’s normally icy cold drinks we are looking for there.” He laughed a bit at this wondering if anyone really ever drank hot chocolate there. A few who had never left the South probably didn’t even know what it was. Though sometimes in the winter the South would get cold enough at night that they could drink hot chocolate or some of the other hot drinks to warm up.
Charizard, uninterested in walking down the mountain, spread his large wings and took to the skies. For a moment he had flew up so high that he was hardly a speck in the sky until he quickly came back down and flew beside the two walkers. He absolutely loved flying which was probably something that rubbed off from Kero. He too loved to fly and even collected the flying types because of this. Nothing would keep Kero from souring in the air.
“So where are you native from?” Kero then thought of asking. For some reason he was pretty sure it wasn’t from the north. She seemed too new to the area like he was. Perhaps she from somewhere else. Kero had met a few people in different places, like Alvaro. Alvaro was from Era, but he had traveled out of Era and lived far away for a while. Oh, just thinking of the green haired man made Kero’s cheeks go a slight pink. He really wanted to see that man again.

Twice Moon had to correct her path. "Really? I like hot chocolate even when its hot out." She wasn't kidding. She liked hot chocolate and it tasted good with toast too! Her eyes watched the Charizard take off up into the sky then fly back down. Laughing she scooped up Night from the Ground. Humming she skipped along side Moon loving the snow.
Finally near the door she ran over and opened it for them all. "Oh I'm from the Eastern or maybe is western woods area." She was bad with directions and at the moment her mind wasn't actually focusing. Once everyone was inside she left her pokemon with Kero and raced to her room. Tossing the things on the bed she raced back with a smiled. "Ready for hot chocolate?" [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “You’d have a hard time finding it in the south,” Kero laughed as she claimed that she would drink it in the heat too, “Would most likely have to get it imported or something.” Fruits and fish seemed to be a bit rarer in the South too though Kero never really noticed till he read about all the different types one could eat. His family was wealthy so he had just had the money to buy anything they liked.
“I think most of the woods is in the east…” Kero mumbled as the entered the room. He waited for her as she ran into another room, leaving her pokemon with him temporarily. Charizard had landed was still standing outside the door as he tried to dry his own feet before entering the room. His problem was, he was too big and bulky and he kept re-stepping into water. It wasn’t until Rikka returned that Charizard finally pushed his way in, forgetting about the water. He let out a rather excited growl which meant he was defiantly ready for some hot chocolate. “All see here.[.b]” Kero laughed, patting Charizard.

She probably would too. Well for now she would stay here where she could have it any time she wanted. Of course she had heard him mumbling before she had darted off to her room.
She popped back in just as the Charizard seemed to figure out how to get in the door. Laughing at his enthusiasism she led the Cafeteria which she was followed by her pokemon. Finding a big enough booth she grinned. "How bout here? I'll go order the Hot chocolate." Practically bouncing away she headed to the kitchen window and talked to the Chef for a few moments.
Moon and Night Jumped up onto the seat that said it was their side. The Growlithe jumped up and sat near Moon. Looking about happily he let out a slight happy bark toward Kero. Haunter floated about and chose to follow after Rikka. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero and Charizard both followed Rikka until they reached a booth. “Works for me,” Was Kero’s reply as he sat down and watched Rikka head towards the kitchen window to order. “Charizard, why don’t you go help her carry the drinks. I’ll stay here with her pokemon.” Charizard let out a small grumble like sound at this but soon turned to follow Rikka. He knew it would be rude to flat out refuse to help the girl, especially since he was getting hot chocolate out of it.
Kero’s attention was then brought towards the Growlithe when the fire type let out a happy bark. He absolutely loved fire pokemon, almost as much as he did flying types. So he couldn’t help but let out a small laugh. “Like hot chocolate too, do you?” He asked, still chuckling a bit before adding, “I guess almost everyone, including pokemon can appreciate a hot drink after being out in the cold. Though the ice pokemon might not like it as much.” He was certain some might even be afraid of it. Kind of like how Charizard didn’t like baths.

"Thank you Charizard and Haunter. I appreciate the help." Taking the first tray she handed it to Haunter who immediately floated back to the table. Setting a glass in front of Moon Night and Caerus he flew the now empty tray back to the window. Rikka handed the next Tray to Charizard and smiled. Taking the final tray which contained hers and several extra's she headed back to the table.
Growlithe barked again and resisted the urge to jump out of his seat to go lick the boy. When Haunter set the cup at him he lapped at the hot chocolate. Moon and Night were a bit more cautious as they didn't want their tongues burned.
Rikka approached the table and sat her tray in the middle taking her cup and setting it next to Caerus she took the other Tray from Charizard before handing him his cup. Setting Kero's cup infront of him she also handed Haunter his cup. Taking the empty tray back to the window she practically bounced back to her seat. [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Charizard watched as Rikka handed the first tray to Haunter before watching the Haunter float off. He hadn’t realized his tray was next until he turned his head again to see Rikka already holding one up for him to take. Without a word the dragon took it before carefully making his way back to the table. It was a lot harder that he had thought it would be and he found himself almost spilling some. Luckily he had managed to make it to the table without too big of a mess.
Kero let out a small laugh at the reply of the Growlithe before looking up to see the hot chocolate was on the way. He waited quietly until all of the cups were handed out before giving a small, “Thank you,” to Rikka. Knowing the stuff was hot, he gave his cup a small blow before slowly sipping the chocolaty liquid. He had to admit, it was good. Charizard on the other hand had taken his drink and practically gulped it all down in one swig. It was enough to make Kero half choke in surprise before he remembered that the heat didn’t really bother Charizard. Though after gaping at Charizard his attention was soon brought back to Rikka as she burnt herself. “Heh, be careful,” Kero claimed with a grin, “I’m suppose to be protecting you, remember? So no more burns.” It was his attempt at humour though perhaps not that great of a joke.

Rikka looked over at Kero and chuckled at his humor. "Well Hot chocolate is better when its hot." Spotting Haunter giving Caerus another cup she smiled.
