Shock covered Adam’s face when Rikka claimed she was alright. It really didn’t make sense to him. He had pushed her. She should be mad or crying. She should be upset. She shouldn’t be smiling or joking. It just wasn't right. Why... why was she so happy? “ Why? Why are you joking? Why don’t you hate me? You are suppose to... suppose to hate me...” His words were very quiet as he stared down at the carpet. It was as if he was trying to register exactly how to react to her kindness. As if what she had said was a puzzle to him. Then suddenly his eyes narrows and his gaze shot up to her, “ You should be mad at me! You should be disgusted by me! Just like everyone else!” He began to yell at Rikka, pointing a finger towards her, “ I was born as a reminder of pain. I cause people pain! Why don’t you understand that? Why haven't you gotten...” His words were cut off when Kuu suddenly spoke up, ‘ She’s like us’ the simple words caused Adam to freeze for a moment, ‘ She’s like Sky, Vince and me. She took care of you just like we did. So she wont run away or get mad.’ Once again his eyes fell to the floor the angry expression he was waring a moment ago fading into nothing more but a frown. “ She’s like a pokemon.” He whispered . As he said this a flow of water began to run down his cheeks. His slowly wrapped around himself as sat there cried, “ She made me leek and I don’t... I don’t even know her name.” Sky was in a shock to see her master cry. Neither Kuu or her had seen it before. They had seen him depressed many times but he had actually never shed a tear before. Now they were freely running down his cheeks and was because of this girl. Sky’s ears lowered and she looked up at Rikka with concerned eyes. Kuu also looked up at Rikka for a moment before walking over to Adam and setting a paw on him.

Rikka watched his face register shock at what she had said. Suddenly he got angry like a child throwing a tantrum. Quietly she sat and listened to him. Letting him get it all out as he pointed at her and yelled. Of course it was the first time she had ever heard a person say that. No one was ever born from pain. Accidents yes. Pain no. Who had ever said these things to him? Suddenly he went quiet listening to Kuu say something. His angry expression fading from his face. Stroking Moon's ears she lifted the pokemon from her lap and placed her on the bed.
Slipping to the floor she watched him cry and wiped a few tears away. "My name is Rikka Soul. Whats yours?" She didn't mind being compared to a pokemon. She loved pokemon all her life. Slowly like he would bolt she hugged him again. She really did want to look after him. Could she convince him to travel with her? To see the world and see the pretty things? She wanted him to be happy, but if only making others suffer did that, could she help him? Remembering his reaction to the sparkly rock earlier she reached over and swiped a rock from Haunter's hiding spot. He pouted from his spot then played with the others he had. "Here. You like Shiny things right?"
Holding her hand palm up she showed him the blueish purple shiny rock. "My Furret found these. I don't think he'll mind if I share a few. He's always finding shiny things." She didn't want him to be sad. And from the corner of her eyes she could tell him crying didn't usually happen. Moon watched from the bed mad at herself that she let Rikka get near him again. Finally she noticed the tears of the boy again and calmed slightly. Maybe he just needed to be looked after. Rikka could do that.

Adam twitched a bit when Rikka moved closer and wiped a few tears away. Those tears were quickly replaced though they slowed down a bit when Rikka introduced himself. It was then that he felt her arms slowly wrap around him again. Once again he froze however this time he relaxed a bit sooner then the first time. “A-Adam. Adam Winters.” he replied sinking his head into her shoulder and settling his tears a bit. It wasn’t until she showed him the sparkling rock that he finally pulled away from her and the tears ended. He took he quietly and studied it for a moment until before a small smile slipped onto his lips. The same smile he had on his face when he been looking at his own stone. He didn’t know why he liked shiny objects so much. Something about the shine, the sparkle, the way the light hit them... It was something that calmed him. Perhaps it was because they were the only pretty things he had ever had while growing up. In fact he loved the stones so much that even his own pokemon reflected it. Each one of them had a shiny object on there foreheads. He wasn’t sure if they were actual stones or not but he found them pretty. “It’s so pretty. Like a gem a princeses would wear.” As he said this he held the stone up into the air to allow the light to shin on it better. Kuu, who had moved over a bit when Rikka had approached looked up at the stone as well. She had almost been expecting Adam to lash out at Rikka when she had hugged him again but he hadn’t. That was a first as well. Sky on the other hand still looked upset. Her ears were still down as she watched Rikka and Adam carefully. The main issue Sky was that she was afraid of Rikka disappointing Adam. What if she got close to him and then just left? It wouldn't only damage Adam more. On top of it all, what would vince think of this Rikka person? Would he be worrying about the same thing? After all, Vince took care of Adam like Adam was one of his cubs. He had seen Adam in his worst and best stats. He had also seen Adam hurt over and over again by different people. It wasn’t an easy life living on the streets. “Rikka Soul is just like Vince, Sky and Kuu. She doesn’t run away. She helps. That’s what Kuu said.” Adam explained as he continued to study the rock, “Why?”

When Rikka introduced herself she noticed the tears has slowed. He also relaxed faster and even rested his head on her shoulder. She smiled softly and listened to him introduce himself. "Its Nice to meet you Adam." When she showed him the rock he pulled away and the tears stopped. His smile soon returned making her feel better. Leaning back on the bed she watched him toy with the rock in the light. Biting back a yawn she listened to him talk about the rock.
"I know where to get them. Raikiri found these in the Oasis in the desert." Looking at the clock by the bed she noticed it was about two in the morning. She was probably gonna end up sleeping past noon. Well at least tonight had proved promising and she made a new friend. Well Sorta. Hearing him talk she looked back at him and tilted her head to the side. Thinking about the answer she tossed out the rights and wrongs of stuff and life.
"Hmm. Well like I said earlier I like to make people happy. Oh and I like to take care of people and Pokemon. Everyone is always telling me I'm too kind for my own good." She almost believed them sometimes but when good things came from being nice it was a good reward. Stretching her arms in front of her she stood up and folded down the covers on the spare bed. She was gonna give him a nice place to sleep tonight. Maybe if he was still here in the morning she would broach the subject of traveling.
"How bout you sleep here tonight? If you have any other Pokemon I'm you can let them out or I could probably bribe Shiro to take a message to them." This time the Yawn really did escape her lips. Rubbing her eyes she walked over to the bird pokemon and situated them on her bed. Hana had already fallen asleep again. While Shiro ever the dramatic was pacing restlessly. "Haunter you get ready for bed too." Haunter sighed and popped out of his hiding spot handing the boy the other two rocks he had swiped from Raikiri's pocket. Picking a spot near the already asleep Chaos he hunkered down.

“ In the Oasis.” Adam repeated as he continued to study the rock. He had never seen the Oasis before. He had seen the outskirts of the desert but had never ventured there. He spent most of his time in the cities and surrounding towns. It was much easier to find shelter, food and water in the cities. “ You are just different from them.” Adam replied to her comment about being too kind. He didn’t think she was too kind. Sure, it had left her open to be hurt easily but everyone should take chances. After all, if you didn’t life would be boring. Adam took chances all the time. Though his life style forced him to take those risks even if he hadn’t wanted to. He was starting to like her though. She didn’t yell or get mad. She reminded him very much of the hat lady. The hat lady let him work in her hat shop and often fed him. She was a quiet old woman and Adam was pretty sure she wouldn’t be able to yell at him even if she wanted to. However, up until now, the hat lady was the nicest person he had ever met. He didn’t look away from the stone she had given him until she suggested he spent the night. He was about to decline knowing that he couldn’t leave Vince alone for an entire night. The Absol would end up being up all night searching for him he did that. Luckily as he continued to listen to what she had to say she explained that they could get Vince. Adam smiled at this and stood up, the long sleeves on the white sweater she had given him fell over his hands. “ Shiro could get Vince. He is guarding our…” Adam stopped realizing that sending a pokemon who Vince didn’t know was a very bad idea. Adam knew that Vince would attack Shiro before the poor pokemon could even explain why they could even explain why they were there. Vince was Adam’s strongest pokemon and extremely protective. “ Shiro might get hurt. Vince doesn’t like intruders.” He glanced over at Seansel who still looked very unsure about this entire thing. Sky was rather fast. It wouldn’t take long for her to go and get Vince. It seemed Sky recognized exactly what Kero was going to ask of her. Before he could even open his mouth, Sky nodded and agreed to go. This brought another smile on Adam’s face as he turned to the bed and set his hands down on it. It was so soft and squishy. He had slept on a bed before but it was nothing like this one. Most of them had been rather hard or stuffed with straw. The blankets were never as soft either. They were always hard and scratchy or full of holes. He was about to sit on the bed when Haunter came over and handed him two more rocks. He took them happily before crawling into the bed. He pulled the blankets over his feet before starting to study the two new rocks. All three of them were really pretty. Moon jumped up onto the bed after Adam and curled up on the corner. Sky moved to the window expecting to be let out in order to go and get Vince. She was still a bit sceptic about why Adam was agreeing to sleeping over but she wouldn’t question it. Maybe this would be a good change.

At his tone she looked over at him and smiled. Yea. First place to take him would be the Oasis. It was warm had water to play in and plenty of shiny rocks in the water for him to collect. She chuckled at his comment. That was a good way to put it. She liked that better then just being too kind. Being different was nice. Rikka listened and thought over the Dilemma. Who could she send. Moon? No she wouldn't want to leave her side. Night? Just a glance at him told her he wasn't leaving. Hana probably would never do it. Catching his look at the Sneasel she tilted her head and got curious. The Sneasel nodded to the unspoken question and moved to the window.
Walking over she pushed on Chaos till he moved in his sleep leaving the Window unoccupied. Opening the window she looked out into the night. It would be nice if they could see the stars like when they camped outside. "Be Careful." She didn't want the Sneasel to get hurt either. Moving back to Adam she tucked him in the bed carefully and watched him study the rocks. Chuckling she decided he was definitely like a little kid in some ways. Walking to her bag she stifled a yawn and pulled out a small bag she used to carry her erasers. Dumping the erasers in her pack she walked back over to him. "Here. You can use this to carry the rocks around. That way you won't lose them." Setting the bag gently beside him she went back over to her bag and pulled out a blanket and covered up Kuu.
Tucking him in she crawled into her own bed and stayed sitting up. She still had two more guests she needed to make sure were tucked in. Poking the center of her forehead she winced. Thats what she got for running into the door. Well it would be gone in a couple days anyways. Closing her eyes she dozed lightly waiting for her other guests to arrive. It had been a long day of traveling before and tonight was just getting longer. Night crept into Rikka's lap slowly and curled up there to sleep while Moon slipped under the covers to sleep. Though Moon was only going to sleep lightly tonight. She still didn't trust the boy and his pokemon.

Sky rolled her eyes when Rikka told her to be careful. Just like Adam, she had lived on the streets all her life. She didn’t need to be told to be careful. The streets where her life. Sky jumped out of the window and onto a small ledge then down to the floor. She’d be back in no time with Vince. Moon gave out a small purr when Rikka set a blanket on him. Tonight would be a good night. Or so he hoped. Sometimes it was unpredictable to know exactly what Adam was thinking. Adam picked up the bag she gave him and began to put the stones away. He would have to put his other stones in them later. Then he attach that bag to his coin bag. He had almost forgotten his coin bag was still attached to his dirty clothes. He had gotten a lot of coins for giving away some shiny items today. He didn’t like having to give away the items but it was the only way to make coins which got you food. Maybe he could show Rikka the hat shop sometime. He could use his coins to buy her a hat he had made. He didn’t know how he had found himself a human pokemon but the idea of it made him feel calm. Adam just laid there watching Rikka as she began to doze off. He wouldn’t be able to sleep without Vince around. Which luckily wasn’t long. There was a sound at the window and sure enough both Sky and Vince had arrived. Except the Absol looked rather worried. He wasted no time jumping up onto Adam’s bed and sniffing him over to make sure he was ok. It caused Adam to giggle a bit as he lifted his arms so the Absol could check his sides. “ Vince! I had a bath and got new clothes.” Adam laughed as the pokemon finally sat down and stared at him. “ Miss Rikka doesn’t hate us. She’s got a heart like a pokemon.” Adam showed Vince what he meant by placing both his hands on Vince’s chest. The pokemon simply turned his head to look over at Rikka. His eyes were a bit narrowed with distrust but he wouldn’t attack the girl. She hadn’t hurt his human so he had no corral with her. After Adam set his arms back down Vince motioned for him to lay down. When Adam did he tucked him in before taking the bag Adam had left on the bed and placing it onto the desk beside him. Once Adam was settled Vince jumped off the bed in search of the old clothes. He found them in the bathroom and neatly placed them onto a chair taking the coin pouch and random items Adam had in the pockets out. Those items were placed onto the desk as well before Vince joined Adam on the bed again. By then it looked as if Adam was falling asleep. Vince simply laid down beside him but kept an eye on Rikka and the other pokemon. He didn’t care if Adam trusted them. He was still going to protect his human just in case this Rikka wasn’t as nice as Adam had explained. Sky on the other hand had climbed under the cover beside Adam and had already fallen alseep.

Rikka jolted awake as the sounds at her window. Looking up she watched an Absol and the Sneasel come back through the window. The Absol must have been Vince. Rikka waited till the pokemon had checked over his human before seh moved slowly out of bed again. Pulling out a blanket from her bag she waited for Vince to be settled. Once he was she covered him up. "Nice to meet you Vince."
Walking back over to the bed then remembered the lights. With another yawn she walked over to the light switch and flicked them off. Walking back to the bed she demostrated the Klutz she could be by walking into a chair. Stifling her pained sigh she quickly made her way over to the bed and crawled under the covers. Night who had been dumped from her lap when the two pokemon had come through was the one to remember the window. Moving over to it he managed to shut it but couldn't figure out how to lock it. Well asleast Hana wouldn't be able to get out in the morning. Though she probably would make a big ruckus.
Night jumped back over the bed and curled up on Rikka who had already fallen asleep. With a yawn of his own he fell back to sleep. Moon who had watched the pokemon enter snuggled back under the covers and moved near Rikka. Hopefully nothing would happen tonight. Closing her eyes she silently fell asleep.

Vince looked at Rikka as she greeted him but he said nothing in return. He just simply kept an eye on her. He even growled a bit when she came over to set a blanket on him. He didn’t much like other humans. Mostly because he didn’t trust the lot of them. He had some trouble with them when he was younger. On top of that, most of them didn’t treat Adam so well. It was because Adam was poor and many times acted much younger then he really was. That and Adam had an issue with stealing, killing and working with people from the wrong side of the neighbourhood. Adam winced a bit when he heard the thud from Rikka hitting the chair but he said nothing. He was already half asleep now that Vince had arrived. Vince was like a parent to Adam. He had been taking care of Adam ever since the day Adam’s mother had… passed away… It was about 10:00 in the morning when Kuu finally lifted his head and looked around. Adam was missing from the bed, along with the blanket and Vince. Instead Sky was spread out in the center of the bed snoring a bit as she slept. Standing up and stretching for a moment, Kuu looked over the side of the bed. Adam was laying on the floor, his blanket twisted around him as he slept. It appeared as if Vince had tried to place the blanket Rikka had put on him on Adam to keep him warm, though it had half fallen off. Vince had one paw laying over Adam’s stomach and was also still fast asleep. Trying to stay quiet, Kuu jumped off the bed and made his way over to the window. He had no problem watching out the window while he waited for the rest to wake up. Though he didn’t have to wait for long. Adam began to stir a bit and finally his eyes opened. It had caused Vince to wake as well and the Absol ended up sitting up. For a moment Adam had forgotten where he was and looked around quickly. However when he spotted Rikka he remembered and calmed down. Slowly he stretched his arms before reaching down to unwrap the blanket from his body. After he was done he turned to collect his things, placing each item in his pockets and attaching the money pouch to his belt. It was kind of odd waking up without the smell of the street air yet at the same time it was sort of refreshing. He wasn’t chilly and it wasn’t noisy. Most often he would have been woken up by the ruckus of the morning rushes.

Moon stirred when she heard someone moving around then quieted. Night on the other hand stretched and lifted his head up looking around. Noticing Kuu was up he stretched and moved over to the blanket Rikka had used to cover Kuu up. Careful not to disturb the boy or the absol he pulled the blanket off the bed and laid it out flat to begin folding it. Haunter who was awake helped him then placed it in the bag. Chaos yawned and looked around. Why had Rikka kept the odd boy and pokemon here?
Chaos looked over at Rikka and noticed she was still sleeping. They had to check out soon. Putting his head near here's he blew a breath at her. Rikka murmured something and rolled over sleepily. The words did almost sound like five more minutes. Chaos chuckled as he watched Moon crawl out from under the covers yawning then looking around. The boy was already up and so were two of his pokemon. Chaos watched Moon then nudged Rikka slightly. "Alrighty I'm getting--" And she rolled right off the bed with a thump.
"Ouchie. Chaos why couldn't I sleep in?" Chaos watched her lay there for a minute like a kid before grabbing her shirt and hauling her to her feet. The bruise on her forehead was definitely visible this morning. Rikka yawned and went to her bag pulling out the Poke-food and giving all the pokemon a good share. Rubbing her forehead she winced. Hana was waking up but didn't seem to notice the water type was out yet. Chaos ate his food quickly and poked Rikka with his tail. He didn't want to Cause the wingull anymore stress. Rikka pulled out his ball and returned him with a smile before she remembered she had a guest. Turning quickly around she smiled at Adam and Vince. "Good-morning. Hope you slept well. Would you like anything for breakfast?" Before he gave a answer she pulled out an Apple an Orange and a Peach. Setting them on the little table near the beds she left them there for him. They could get more after she took a shower.
Rikka looked over at Hana and huffed out a sigh. The bird needed a thorough washing. She hated water so giving her a bath was a big chore. Picking her up while she was still half asleep she grabbed clean clothes out of her bag and went into the bathroom shutting the door behind them. Hana didn't seem to realize what was going on until the water turned on. Suddenly loud thrashing and splashing came from the bathroom and Hana seemed to be calling Rikka every name in the book for making her touch the dreaded water. Another ten minutes and the door opened letting the Terrified bird out who quickly flew to her brother for support. Rikka walked out with her clean clothes on and towel drying her hair.
Moving to her bag she pulled out a brush and pulled it through her hair before braiding it quickly. "Have you decided what you would like to have for breakfast? My treat. Oh here you want to brush your hair?" Holding her brush out to him she smiled kindly. She either didn't seem to realize he could kill or just didn't mind it. Everyone had to survive some how.

When the noise in the room from everyone waking up stared, Sky began to stir. She really wasn’t ready to wake up and she didn’t really like the sun light. So before she had a chance to say good morning to any of them she slowly swaggered over to Adam and returned to her poke ball. Kuu would turn from the window every now and then to watch the others. Vince on the other hand continued to sit with Adam who had just finished tying his money pouch to his belt and dropping his shirt over top of it. They both looked up when Rikka said good morning and asked if they wanted some breakfast. Before Adam could do anything more but smile she had placed some fruit onto the bed. Once she had walked away to get ready for a shower Vince stood up and picked up the apple off the bed. He then turned and dropped it into Kero’s lap to make him eat it. Sure enough Adam picked it up and started taking bites from it. Both Adam and Kuu couldn’t help but giggle a bit when they heard the ruckus coming from the other room. Vince on the other hand just seemed confused. None of them really knew what was going on but what ever it was sounded funny. As they waited Adam finished eating the apple and Vince ate the core. Adam then began digging through his pocket again and pulled out a few small beads and a small brown feather he had tucked in there before. He had just finished braiding the beads and feather into the side of his hair when Rikka made it back out of the bathroom with the bird. Adam shook his head when she asked if they had figured out what they wanted for breakfast. He really wasn’t sure what people ate for breakfast. Normally he would buy some bread and that would suffice. He looked at the hairbrush for a moment before taking it with a smile. Vince then nudged him softly and Adam looked back up to Rikka, “ Thank you.” he spoke softly before attempting to brush his hair. It was rather tangled and knotted from weeks without having been brushed. “ What does… Miss Rikka… want to… eat>” Adam then asked as he continued to try and comb his hair. He was making some progress through the whitish blond tangles.

Noticing the apple gone she smiled and packed the other two fruits in her bag again for later. She needed to pick up supplies before they left. Grabbing the blanket that had fallen on the floor from Vince and Adam, she folded it and placed it in her bag neatly. Moving around she made the beds and avoided the Wingull who was glaring at her. Shiro talked to his sister trying to calm her down. She really didn't care for water and was blaming Rikka at the moment. "Your welcome. Hmm. Well I guess it depends on what I can get the chief to make. I was thinking French toast. Thats always good. Have you had French toast before?"
Seeing him struggled through the knots she pulled out another comb from her bag and gently worked the knots out on the side he wasn't working on. She was careful not to pull his hair while she undid the worst of them. "Hmm. Your going to need a good bag to haul around some stuff. Well at least a big enough bag to keep a blanket and a brush in. You could probably use some new shoes too. Moon could you add that to my list of things to get." Moon nodded and jumped over to the bag pulling out the paper she kept a list on. Grabbing a pencil she wrote out what Rikka had named off as neatly as she could. Which wasn't that neatly. She was getting better though!
Rikka was really wanting to take care of him. Or at least give him the means to travel around encase he didn't want to travel with her. "Oh I was thinking maybe you could travel with me if you wanted. You would have a warm place to sleep and you would always have food for your Pokemon and you. I could take you to the Oasis and we could go swimming for the shiny rocks at the bottom of the water." She ran the comb through the side she had finally untangled and went to work on the back of his head carefully working the bigger knots out first.

Adam looked up for a moment thinking over Rikka’s question about French toast. Seeming to not be able to decide on the answer he looked back down towards Vince. Vince simply closed his eyes and shook his head saying no. Adam then looked back at Rikka and answered, “ Nope.” To be honest Adam didn’t even know what French toast was. If Vince was sure he had never had any before then he was sure he hadn’t had any before too. When it came to food Adam really had very minimal knowledge on the subject. Which to most that wouldn’t be a surprise. Truth was, Adam was actually very smart. Smarter then most could ever hope to be. Sadly he didn’t even fully realize he was. He knew he was smarter then he let on most of the time but exactly by what extent was unknown to him. Adam didn’t seem to acknowledge that Rikka had began to help him with combing of his hair. He was actually rather grateful for the help. It was going to be a bit of a chore to get all the tangles out. As they combed he listed to her words a bit confused on why she was suggesting all these things he would need. He had a bag and a blanket back in the tiny run down shack within the Central Capital. Both items were rather old, dirty and warn. He really wouldn’t mind getting new ones. He looked down at his bare feet when she mentioned shoes as well. He rarely wore shoes. He had some boots in the Central Capital as well. Vince had made him wear them along with mittens and a scarf each time it would snow out. “ I like blue.” Adam spoke up, his voice soft and a bit timid sounding at that moment. He was referring to the colour of the blanket he would like to get though he forgot to mention that part. He had simply spoken what was on his mind. The blanket he had back at home was grey. He found it kind of ugly and a long time ago he had told Vince he had wanted a blue one some day. It was also often the colour of the beads he wore in his hair and same for the hats he made at the shop. Though he had been reminded by the hat lady that he had to make sure to make different coloured hats sometimes because not everyone liked the colour blue. Adam had pretty much finished his side of hair when she asked if he wanted to travel with her. She had also explained where they could travel to first. It sounded like a lot fun but… Adam lowered his eyes and thought about it for a moment. If he left then it would be harder for his employers to get a hold of him. He knew Jack often had jobs for him to do all the time. On the other hand he currently had no official jobs to do. If they really wanted him they could just send a messenger Pidove to him. There was no reason he couldn’t slip out a few nights to do a job and return in the morning to travel more with her. He was use to not getting a lot of sleep as it was. Having Rikka around would be like… well it would be like having a sister. He had always seen other people with siblings and most of them looked happy. Then he would have a father (vince) and a sister! It would be like a real family. They didn’t need a mother. Mothers were no good. Adam finally looked up at Rikka, smiled and nodded. “ I can protect Miss Rikka on her ventures.”

Rikka nodded as he answered her question on French toast. Hmm. Alright. She would have to get him to try them. "Their good and fluffy and soft. Would you like to try one?" She had watched him consult with Vince and decided Vince must be like a parent to him. Her combed worked out the last couple of worst knots before she started on the easier ones. His hair was soft once it was washed and brushed. At his statement she thought about it. He liked blue. Alrighty.
"Blue blanket and a blue bag. We could probably find you blue socks to go with new shoes too." She liked Green herself just because it matched her eyes. Though usually she tossed on what ever she could get a hold of. Like her current shirt was blue while she had on blue jeans. For once it matched. Though her socks said otherwise one being purple and the other yellow. Finally getting the knots out of the back she ran the comb through the now untangled sides. Smiling she went to her bag and put her comb away as she pulled out Shiro and Hana's poke balls. Returning them she did the same for Haunter. Though he took one of her sketch books with him.
Chuckling she looked at Night and Moon then left them out. They both could be the guides today. Looking over at him she noticed he had looked at her and had decided. She smiled and started to tie her bag shut. "Sweet. Oh and Adam you can just call me Rikka alright?" Sooner or later she would have tossed formality out the window since she didn't particularly care for it. Stretching she looked about to make sure they didn't forget anything. "Got everything Adam?" Walking to the bathroom she check to make sure everything was in its place then walked back out and pulled on her light jacket and bag.
Moon and Night looked at each other then at the other pokemon. Well if they were going to be traveling together they might as well introduce themselves. <Hello I'm Moon and this is Night.> Moon tilted her head toward the shiny Eevee as she said his name. Night moved around the room and under the beds to make sure Rikka wasn't forgetting anything. At least they got to go back to the Oasis. Night finished looking and wondered back over to Rikka who picked him up and set him on her shoulder. Getting his balance he sat and watched Rikka unlock the door and open it. She needed to check out before noon or she would have to pay for another night. Which in Moon's mind wouldn't be bad considering Rikka could just sketch up an advertisement for the Hotel.

Adam nodded when Rikka asked if he would want French toast. Fluffy and soft sounded good just as she said. He also liked toast. Though he didn’t know that French toast actually didn’t taste much like real toast. Nor did he know that it would have a rather sweet taste to it. But that was all things he would find out once he actually had some. “Maybe with stars.” He suggested as she decided on a blue blanket, bag and socks. He had seen blankets with stars one them before. They looked nothing like the night sky but he still liked them. After all, in the city you could hardly see the stars in the sky. There was always too much light coming from the city. He had seen them a few times traveling between city and city for jobs. He had also spent some summers outside in the fields away from the city. That didn’t happen often though. It was harder to find shelter and food out of the city. As for the socks… Well he had never seen any socks with stars on them before but then he had never really paid attention to socks. He couldn’t remember ever wearing any ever. Not even when his… No he wouldn’t think about her. “ Just Rikka” Adam smiled before looking around the room to see if he had forgotten anything. He was still holding onto the hair brush but besides that everything seemed to be with him. He really hadn’t had much in the first place. As his eyes scanned the room he noticed his old clothes had been put in a garbage can. He figured Vince must have put them there during the night. “ Yup!” He finally replied to her as Kuu jumped down from the window to join them. Vince hadn’t been paying any attention to Moon or Night until Moon introduced her self to him. He turned and looked at her, his eyes narrowing, <Vince.> He replied before looking away again. It seemed he wanted nothing to do with any of them. He was simply there because it made Adam happy. <Vince is a bit of an old grouch.> Kuu spoke up in an attempt to make up for Vince’s rudeness, <But he’ll come around eventually.> Kuu wasn’t sure if he had been forgiven enough for tricking them the other night but he didn’t mind. He was use to not being liked and could handle it as long as he had Adam and the other two. Besides, he wasn’t going to apologize to them for what he had done. As he had said to them the other night before falling asleep; Life wasn’t always fair. All four of them had learned that the hard way. Adam got ready to follow Rikka out the door as she unlocked it. As he walked he actually decided to make his own conversation for once. Up until now he had allowed Rikka to do most of the talking. He didn’t like talking much but for Rikka… well something about her was bringing out the good in him. “ Kuu’s name means Moon.” He explained as he followed her, “ Both of our Umbreons are shinny too.”

Rikka smiled as he nodded. She hoped he liked sweet things. Taking another look around she ushered every one out of the room. Adam had said he got everything. "Alrighty lets go get a good breakfast." Smiling she walked beside Adam to the stairs. She preferred walking up and down stairs to accidentally getting stuck in an elevator.
Moon decided that Vince must be completely devoted to Adam. Which was fine Moon was devoted to Rikka and would never harm anyone she considered to be a friend. Which happened to be a boy who tried to hurt her last night. When Kuu spoke up she looked over at him. She still hadn't forgiven him, but he was right. It had been about time that Rikka's kind nature got her hurt. <Rikka wont mind. She'll try to take care of us all before she takes care of herself.> It was true. Moon did her best to take care of Rikka but it seemed the the girl always took care of her better.
Rikka smiled as he started to talk about his Shiny umbreon. Interesting that his Pokemon's name meant Moon while she had named hers Moon. Chuckling she held open the door to the breakfast area. "They are Shiny. My Umbreon's name is Moon. So both Umbreons have the same name almost." In a weird sense of logic. Picking a relatively big booth and set her pack down she went over to the kitchen window to order enough French toast for each pokemon to have a couple pieces. And for her and Adam to have a plateful.
Walking back to the table she slid into the booth and pulled Night into her lap. Moon jumped up beside her and looked around the Breakfast area. It was rather big and not very many people were down here. Probably had already eaten. Checking the time she noticed they had about forty-five minutes before Rikka needed to run to check out. That would give them plenty of time to eat and head out. Kinda looking like she was spacing out she went over maps of Evergreen City. She was picking out the right Shops she needed to steer Rikka too. Cause if she left Rikka to her own devices she would spend the day window shopping.

“ Yup, I gave Kuu his name because I met him during a full moon.” Adam explained as they walked down the stairs. He couldn’t remember where he had learned what the name meant but it had been one of the many random fact’s he knew. He knew many of them he just didn’t often voice them. Adam looked around as they entered the dining area. He hadn’t eaten in a dining area or any restaurant before. Most of his meals had been bought in stores and eaten outside. He followed Rikka over to the table and sat down. Kuu jumped up after him and made his way over to the far end of the bench. Vince then jumped up as well and sat on the other end. As they waited for Rikka to return all three of them studied the plate mat made of paper laying on the table. It had something about horoscopes written on it. It wasn’t until Rikka returned that Adam and the other two looked up again. Adam simply watched as Rikka sat down and everyone got settled. After the shuffling sounds ended he turned and began looking around the room again. There weren’t a lot of people in the place but his eyes still found things to look at. He had noticed that one couple were eating eggs and salad though it didn’t look like they were too interested in the food. They just kept making googly eyes at each other and holding hands. His eyes then wondered over to another man was just entering the dinning area and finding a place to sit down. There was also a little girl and her mother and fancy wallpaper and… Adam sighed and turned around again to see what Rikka and her two pokemon were doing. Just as he turned around a waitress had set down some juice and began poring them some ice cold water to drink. She said something about the food being ready very soon before leaving to talk to the other man who had arrived. Adam picked up his glass of water and began drinking it. Kuu and Vince had been given bowls so they could drink there water as well. However only Kuu seemed to be interested in drinking any. Vince hadn’t taken his eyes off Rikka and her pokemon yet. “ Is that a map?” Adam asked finally looking down at the paper Moon was studying. He had seen and used maps before when entering new cities or towns for work.

Rikka smiled and that was the fact she needed to know he was definitely not as slow as he seemed. He did retain info. Did he remember where though?"Kuu is a nice name." With out giving it a second thought she thanked the Waitress and looked over at Moon who had pulled out the maps. Of course she was gonna keep her from window shopping all day. They had to get going if they were going to take Adam to the Oasis. Sipping her water she looked down at the paper map with horoscopes. Sweet. Looking up hers which was an aquarius she found her horoscope for the day.
Today seemed to be a very lucky day for her. She would figure that out later. Moon looked up and Adam as he adressed her and her maps. Nodding her head she pointed at the map of the City then moved to the other map that had shotcuts Moon had asked Rikka to put. Teh labeled shortcuts she showed him the shortest way to the Oasis. Then went back to the City map and pointed to the shops she was routing out. She was trying to show him that she knew where they were going and which routes they were taking!
Rikka looked over at Moon and chuckled. "She's my navigator. I suck at Directions unless I'm giving them. Otherwise I get lost easily." Moon looked over at her and rolled her eyes. She wouldn't get lost if she didn't get easily distracted by wanting to draw places.<She draws alot and gets easily distracted when she wants to draw something.> Night nodded in agreement with Moon before rubbing his head against Rikka's hand. Rikka chuckled sure she knew what Moon had said. Rubbing Night's ears she looked over at Vince and itched to pull out her sketch book to draw him.

Adam watched and nodded as Moon showed him the maps and directions she was planning out. He hadn’t known the rout to get to the Oasis but the city layout he actually knew rather well. He was fast at learning and remembering the places he had been to. Well at least when it came to the cities and towns. He wasn’t sure how well he would remember the layout to a forest or mountain. “ She looks good at it.” Adam commented back to Rikka before looking down at Moon as she spoke. He understood a bit of what the pokemon was saying. He had learned a bit of the language from living with pokemon over humans for so long. “ Rikka’s drawings are very pretty.” Adam confirmed to Night. He didn’t see a problem getting distracted by ones hobby. < I don’t think Adam ever get’s losts> Kuu spoke up as the thought ran though his mind. It appeared that Vince agreed with Kuu as the Absol nodded but still had not spoken. Adam looked up again when the waitress returned with a large tray. She began to set the plates that contained the French toast down in front of everyone along with a bottle of maple syrup. After she was done she kindly asked if they would like anything else. Adam shook his head no before looking at Rikka to see if she wanted anything. However his eyes didn’t stay on her long for the smell of the French toast was too good to ignore. The bread in front of him looked a bit funny but had a feeling he was going to like them.

Moon nodded as he seemed to get what she was showing him. They would need to get him maps. That way he didn't get lost either. At least in new territory. She she spotted the waitress making her way over with the plates she folded the maps up and put them back in the bag. Slipping back in the seat she waited ears perked for the French toast. She loved it almost as much as Rikka did.
Rikka smiled and nodded before she rubbed Moon's ears. "Without her I would probably find myself in quicksand or something worse." Moon nodded her head in agreement with Rikka before she watched the lady start to set down the plates. Night looked at Adam and nodded glad he agreed. <She will probably draw you all a million times.> Night said as he watched his plate and Rikka's set before them. Moon looked over at Kuu as he said Adam had never been lost. Well that was a benefit. He could help keep Rikka on track or from getting into something dangerous when she walked off.
Rikka smiled and listened to her question. "Is there any way I could get some peanut butter?" Peanut butter was really good with french toast. Moon didn't even wait for Rikka to pour syrup on her plate before she took a good sized bite out of the french toast. Night watched them then took a nice bite out of his french toast also.
