x3 Generally if people in the same building as you are suddenly infected you wouldn't have time to escape anyway, would you? At any rate, as long as you ensure everyone is healthy going in, there shouldn't be a way for infection to get to you unless it spontaneously generates, in which case no one is safe anywhere in the first place as you could be completely alone and still just end up with it.

x3 Which still doesn't come close to scratching a prison. And I'm sure your school has windows. And no giant razor fence or wall. And of course, Wal-Marts will most likely be the heart if not start of the apocalypse, so good luck getting those supplies. |3
Oh, also prisons have outdoor land between them and those big walls. x3 Meaning, while still a touch risky, you could eventually try farming with moderate security for long-term survival. >;P
