William was off searching for bugs again. He couldn't help but want any kind there was. He figured the best place to find them would be The Hive. The Hive should be full of them.. right? Well.. William hoped he had stocked up, as he couldn't remember now. He started walking through the area. He had a Weedle sitting in his shirt collar, staring out. This was Widdler~ Wendy and Ben weren't out right now. He smiled and hummed as he ducked around the webs, not wanting to disturb them. Even if it was full of bugs.. he knew that spiders might show up too. Oh well ^^ He wouldn't disturb them.

Hanging on a near by tree was a few Burmy. Most of them were sleeping. The others were hardly paying attention to the human who was looking around.
Not too far away was a rather large Venomoth fluttering about. It was sipping on the sap of the different trees it could find.
Doing a bit of hunting was a Pidgeot. The large bird was searching for a good meal. What better place to hunt then a forest full of bugs.

William was searching around rather happily when he noticed the Burmy... then the Venomoth. He wanted them both pretty bad. He looked up at the Burmy again. They seemed to be asleep, so he just started walking towards Venomoth. He got to it and stared up. "You... are magnificent. Just.. wow. How do you look so.. amazing? I mean... your wings.. everything. Excuse me.. Mr or Mrs uh.. Veno... uh.. oh man I should know this!" William says, thinking very hard. "Venomoth! That's it! Could you please come down for me?" William asks happily. Widdler was eying the Pidgeot.

The Venomoth who had been originally ignoring the human stopped for a moment and looked down. He wasn’t sure what this human was talking about but he seemed to be rather interesting. So without thinking further on it Venomoth fluttered down to the human and began showing off.
He was completely unaware that off to the side the Pidgeot was watching them very carefully. The bug looked very tasty. Without warning her large wings spread open and swooped down to grab the Venomoth with her large sharp claws. The Venomoth panicked and flew towards the human hoping that maybe he could help him.

William stared at the bugs, rather delighted by the showing off. He wanted it so bad.. but he didn't say anything just yet. When he saw the Pidgeot, he instantly pulled out a pokeball. Venoshock came flying from the Beedrill that jumped out. It then came flying with a Poison Jab, hoping to poison it to no end. If it managed to land a critical, it would be triple instead of double. William went running over to the Venomoth, quickly offering it a pokeball for safety. ^^ He could catch it and save it at the same time. Weedle was afraid of the bird and was hiding in William's shirt now.

Pidgeot was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the Weedle and ended up getting knocked off course by the poison jab. For a moment the Pidgeot felt a bit dazed but she quickly shook it off and glared at the boy, the weedle and the Venomoth. She wasn’t going to give up to some boy and his tiny bug. She ate bugs for dinner!
With a loud cry the Pidgeot flapped his wings quickly creating a powerful twister attack! The twister ran straight towards the Beedrill causing dried leaves and dust to lift into the air with it. Pidgeot then let out a small huff as the poison took a bit of its toll on her.
Venomoth was still in a panic and wasn’t really paying attention to the human’s words. Perhaps it would calm down and listen long enough once the Pidgeot was out of sight.

William decided that he would just run and hide with the Venomoth, so that's what he did. The Beedrill was hit by the twister and spun in the air as it went flying back. The wind took up it's wings and made it spin into a tree. It got up and looked pretty angry. The Beedrill started flying forward and used Poison Jab on the Pidgeot, hoping to scare it off so they would be safe. A huge bug eating bird was pretty scary to watch fighting a bug.

Venomoth hid with William as the battle with Pidgeot and Beedrill continued. The entire thing was rather scary and Venomoth was rather happy he had found William to help protect him. He didn't think he'd be able to fend off the Pidgeot on his own.
Pidgeot was looking rather proud when she hit the Beedrill with the attack though the poison was still taking it's toll. She was feeling weaker and weaker by the moment. Yet she was determined that now she could eat the Beedrill for dinner. She raced towards it ready to grab it with her huge claws when it suddenly raised towards her with another poison jab attack. It had taken Pidgeot off guard and she ended up quickly turning around flying up into the air out of site. It seemed the beedrill had scared her off.

The Beedrill seemed rather happy that it flew off and it slowly got called back into it's pokeball. William smiled rather happily. "You see, your safe no. So I was wondering.. Venomoth. Would you come with me?" William asks happily while he held out a pokeball. He was so happy right now!

Venommoth nodded happily when William asked if he would want to join them. If he had a trainer then he wouldn’t have to worry about being hunted down by any more birds. Maybe he could also learn how to become stronger. With a happy twirl the Venomoth touched the pokeball and disappeared inside.
Name:
Type: Venomoth
Gender: Male
Ability: Tinted Lens - Doubles damage inflicted with not-very-effective moves.
Personality: Venomoth is a very quiet, calm and tadly shy pokemon. He will often come to you if you use a softer voice or complement him. He is afraid of both fire and bird pokemon and will often feel the need to hide from them.
The Burmy were still sleeping on the tree branch near by. Yet it appeared that a Pineco had joined them at one point. It was chatting up a storm with one of the Burmy who had woken up.
Skittering around on the ground below was an abnormally small Zigzagoon. It looked like it was searching for nuts and berries to eat.

William smiles happily. He picked up the pokeball and started walking towards the pokemon. He looked up at the two pokemon talking. They were pretty cool, yet that Zigzagoon even interested him a bit. He crouched down. "Hey there, little guy. What cha doing?" he asks with a grin. ^^ He would capture all of these pokemon if he could.

The Zigzagoon stopped and looked up at William when he spoke to him. For a moment the creature simply turned his head and studied the human before finally lifting an acorn it had found to show William. He had found about five acorn’s already and wanted to find a few more before hiding them into a tree or digging a hole to place them in. It had been what his mother had shown him to do before he had run away from the nest. The other Zigzagoon picked on him for being so much smaller then it’s siblings.

William just watched and smiled. "That's cool! Hey.. I was wondering.. would you come with me? I'm just traveling around the forest and collecting some pokemon. ^^ Would ya want to?" William asks with a grin. =3 He was so happy right now. He hadn't seen so many bugs in one place before.

The Zigzagoon turned his head and looked at William funny. Did he want to go with him? Why would he want to go with him? He didn’t even know who he was? Collecting some pokemon? What did this human think he was? He wasn’t like a rock. You couldn’t just add him to your collection.
With a small shake of his head the Zigzagoon stuck the acorn into his mouth, turned and began to walk away. As he walked away he held his tiny head up high along with this tail. It appeared the Zigzagoon felt rather offended by William’s words.

William frowns. "I'm sorry, little uh.. I don't know what you are. I've only known bug pokemon ^^ I'm sorry if I offended you. I just wanted some new friends, but okay." William says, looking up in the air now. He did want to study him a bit.. to at least learn it's name. Oh well, he'd simply try one of the pokemon in the air. He waved to them happily.

The Zigzagoon heard the boys apology and stopped for a moment to look back at him. He was waving at something in the air but as Zigzagoon looked up he couldn't see what he was waving at. Humans sure were wired creatures.
The Pineco and Burmy who had been chatting to one another stopped for a moment and looked down at William. They then exchanged looks at each other before nodding and trying to wave back at William. It was rather hard to wave without arms but they at least tried.
Finally the Zigzagoon made it back over to William and took the acorn out of it's mouth. It then held it for William to eat. Zigzagoon felt that acorns were yummy so sharing it's acorn with the human would make the human happier, right?

William was smiling that the two in the tree were trying to wave back. He really.. really loved this place. As long as no more birds and spiders came around, he should be fine. He noticed the Zigzagoon coming back and looked down. 'You.. want to give this to me? I could try to eat it. I think it's better if you roast them... but I am a bit hungry. I could.. try to if you want." William says as he picks it up and stares at it. Should he...? It looked decent enough.. but it was pretty hard to tell if they were safe to eat or not. He never really took acorn cooking class before. He stared at it, trying to figure out if he wanted to.

The Pineco and Burmy both giggled to themselves after there attempt to wave at the human. It at least seemed they were having fun.
"Zi, zig zig zigza zig..." The Zigzagoon began explaining a whole bunch of reasons why he liked acorns. Of course the tiny pokemon hadn't realized that William probably couldn't understand anything he was saying. But that was ok. After he was done his entire explanation he picked up another acorn and began nibbling at it to show William that he could eat the acorn without roasting it. Though the Zigzagoon also didn't know that foods effected humans much differently then they did pokemon.

William listened and was entirely lost in what he was saying. It seemed to drag on for a while, but soon enough, the Zigzagoon was showing him that he could eat it. William slowly brought it to his mouth. "Okay.." he says slowly. He started to bite into it and cringed. That.. was crunchy.... and.. bitter. His eye twitched for a moment but he kept going until the edible parts were gone. He set the rest of it down and was sitting next to it. That really wasn't as appetizing as he thought it would be. He didn't feel too good after that, yet he wasn't sick... yet. "I.. ate it." he says slowly.

Pineco and Burmy were laughing as they watched the human eat the acorn. They knew very well that human's weren't suppose to eat such foods. Or at least they didn't normally. Zigzagoon on the other hand was extremely happy and proud William had tried the acorn. In it's excitement he raced up William and gave him the biggest hug he could manage. He liked this human. Willaim hadn't teased him because he was small, nor had he refused to eat the food Zigzagoon had shared with him.
