[ Alaric ] Glydre's eyes seemed to sparkle as he admired the new claw. *3* It was.... so.. pretty..<3 .... Not that he wasn't already purple, so this was actually just a little darker, but... It was so glossy and shiny and he loved it dammit! Pulling back his hand/claw/foot/whatever-you-could-technically-call-it all the way, he held out the other eagerly. He... really hoped Alaric would be back soon, but preferably just after his new friend finished painting. Honey deadpanned at watching the creepy-ass violent little bat of doom suddenly reduced to a pathetic mewling kitten. Sighing heavily, she rolled her eyes and lay her head down, flopping over to a side. <Yes Glydre, make it any more obvious you're gay. You saw how well he reacted to your friend.> She sniffed something of a scoff. Idiot.Glydre twitched just a little in anger, but didn't respond. He never did, after all. But that cat didn't know what she was talking about. So smug and thought she knew everything just because she'd been with him longer than Glydre'd been alive. His trainer wouldn't let something like that separate them! Hmph. Meanwhile, Pistol sighed and seemed to get over his fit of depression when he'd seen at least the other trainer looking at him. As long as he wasn't totally forgotten then... As Pistol watched Glydre paint, a smirk came to his face. ...Should he? Hmmm... Eventually, Honey's eyes trailed up to the ceiling where the Ariados 'hid', seeming at least mildly irritated. <How long are you going to stay up there, anyway?> she sighed. In all honesty, it was about half annoyance and half a slim hope that there might be someone else here with half a brain. [/blockquote]

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen smiled as he began to paint the second set of nails. The thing was simply adorable and he loved it. However, he did find his eyes shifted up for a moment as Honey said something. He had no idea what she had said, and it hadn’t sounded threatening yet Sen got the feeling it was almost a scolding. Either way his eyes ended up falling back down his work and he decided to say something to help keep the place from going too quiet. “If we meet again I can paint your nails another colour.” He stated as it was the first thing to come to his mind, “ Purple just happens to be my favourite colour. It’s not quite pink and not quite blue which are my second two favourite colours. It’s really hard to find men’s clothes in purple though, you know? Mostly all female stuff, which sure, I’m gay but doesn’t mean I dress like a chick. Why I have a few sets of clothes I’ve gotten someone to make for me. Fits better too. More flexible as well. I tend to need clothes I can move around a lot with.” Sen could go on about clothes for ever if someone let him and for now he figured he at least had someone to listen to him.
Ada’s eyes slowly drifted over to Honey as she spoke to her. She wasn’t much for talking to others unless Sen was off pokemon hunting but… well if she wasn’t hiding all too well she might as well reply. <I’ll move if he gets threatened or decided to leave.” She stated in reply. By he she meant Sen of course. She wasn’t the best of fighters but she would always protect Sen no matter what. Even if it meant her life. Not that she believed he was in any danger at the moment anyway. <Why? Does it bother you?> She hissed. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66] |

[ Alaric ] Glydre sat in pure and simple fascination as his new friend went on, wishing he knew some way to convey his thoughts on it all aside from the occasional excited gesture. At the word 'gay', his heart jumped yet again. The man had already said it before, but it was just something he simply didn't hear traveling with Alaric. In fact, he honestly couldn't remember the last time he had another gay guy to talk to- if this could be considered talking- or if he'd ever had anyone like this at all really. Staring down at his gorgeous new claws then, he began to blow on the paint to help it dry (having seen girls do it before a few times). .... He did hope Alaric would be back soon. He really did. ...But if his dearest had abandoned him, he was coming very much to terms with the possibility of just going home with him instead. Honey let out a lazy yawn in place of what probably should have been a shrug. <Not really,> she mewled, rolling into a slightly different position and closing her eyes. <Just seems a little odd to me.> As distant as she was being, she did rather like the spider's response. After debating for a bit, she finally shrugged mentally and decided to add admittedly, <It's nice seeing how much you care for him though.>[/blockquote]

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “There we go, second food done.” Sen announced as he pulled the brush away and placed it back into the polish. After putting the polish away Sen found himself stretching a bit, his eyes looking around the cave and mildly wondering what he should do next. Of course that question didn’t last long as he realized he was quite content with just sitting there. “So what were you and your trainer doing all the way down here anyway? I get the feeling you guys travel a lot, though I could be wrong. Actually I’m often wrong.” He chuckled to himself for a moment before deciding to continue on with his one sided conversation, “Ada and I travel a lot. Someday, if I live long enough, I’m certain I’ll have seen all of Era. Perhaps one of the few things I can actually be proud of achieving without someone rolling their eyes at me.”
Ada didn’t mind that Luxray believed her actions to be odd. She liked to hide and stay out of view. To her, that was more than enough of a reason on top of any other reasons she wanted to add to it. Besides, she knew she was far from normal anyway. After all, she had willing joined and traveled with a gay thief who happened to be missing a few screws in his head, for over ten years. No normal creature did that. <I have been protecting him for a long time now.> Ada replied to Honey as if to suggest that was the reason she cared for him so much. Truth was, she wasn’t sure why she cared for Sen. She just always had since the day she could remember.

[ Alaric ] Alaric gave a heavy sigh as he stared back down the tunnel. Surely they were coming. Surely. Honey wouldn't make him wait this long, would she? He.. knew she was in an ill mood today but... really? Oh dear Lord he was going to have to go back wasn't he? ...He was.. Well..... fuck. Giving another huff, he started back toward his Pokemon and.... it... praying all the way that he'd encounter his friends en route. Glydre listened with awe, nodding and giving a small sound every now and then. He really didn't talk much, so it wasn't even really a syllable so much as just... a sound. Some odd hybrid between a click and a brief hiss, perhaps. When Sen seemed to be done, he nodded a few more times and then-- faltered, having been about to try to scratch at the ground before seeing both that it was rather hard and remembering he'd mess up his beautiful new claws. Placing a claw not-quite-to his face in though a moment, he then held it up with a bright expression it a stroke of brilliance, then turned around slightly and brought his tail forward to drag the tip along the ground, secreting a tiny amount of venom as 'ink'. This was actually rendered largely ineffective for its intended purpose by the moisture of the ground, but it seemed the poison was powerful enough to slightly engrave the earth instead- not that Glydre gave much indication if he noticed. At any rate, it probably wasn't a good idea to touch this until it dried either.. Over the next minute, he continued to give occasional little sounds mostly to himself in thought as he drew, then turned back to survey his work before nodding proudly. "Gli.. Gligar gli gli garr...~" he explained somewhat shyly as he pointed to... What exactly was that? In the Gligar's mind, he'd drawn a rather explanatory picture of himself with Alaric and the other Pokemon traveling all over Era, complete with notes about Alaric's tendencies towards women and Glydre's feelings and how he was almost sure his trainer didn't notice at all but his continued hope and several other things, though to Pokemon ears he'd only explained aloud that they traveled a lot indeed and had lots of fun and battled sometimes. To Sen.. and... any other intelligible being... the drawing was what might have been a stick figure and something that looked vaguely like some sort of awkward moth or butterfly and a lot of random scratches and shapes and lines. Whatever it was looked busy and a little chaotic, but that was about it. <It's nice to see,> the Luxray answered. She realized then that that was a little vague, but yawned and took her time before adding, <Someone else who understands what it means to watch over a child that never grows up.> She rolled a little then and flicked her tail as she glanced over to Sen. <Assuming he's given an accurate impression thus far.>[/blockquote]

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “Hummm…” came the small thoughtful sound from the inners of his throat as he watched the little purple pokemon scribbled away. At some point he had shifted his position so that his legs were crossed and his hand was placed on his chin. Aside from the humm, Sen didn’t offer any other words until the drawing was complete. He found himself leaning forwards a bit as the pokemon spoke rather shyly to him. Most likely explaining what the picture was, though sadly, Sen had no clue what he was saying. None the less, he was prepared to give the guessing game a try. He liked to think he was good at such games, though in truth, he often just found ways to change the subject once he was stumped.
“Um, well this must be you,” He pointed towards the butterfly like thing in the picture, “Humm, let’s see… and this… well it wouldn’t be me… Blondie perhaps?” And that was it. It was all he could get out of the scribbles. Yet it didn’t keep him from continuing. “ And this spot up here… it must be, auhh… Shit!” There it was, the distraction. However, this distraction hadn’t been planned in even the slightest. Sen had made the mistake of touching the stone where the venom was still a bit wet. It instantly burnt his finger which caused him to stupidly place his finger into his mouth. It wasn’t quite as bad of a burn as the one on his finger, but it was enough to cause him to jump up and race towards the water. Within seconds, he had both his hand and head emerged into the water. After a few moments of drowning himself, Sen finally lifted his head back up. “Hu, this water’s actually really good. Cold, but so clean.” What? Nah, he wasn’t changing the subject away from his stupidity. It was true! The water was really clean and fresh tasting.
Slowly, he stood himself up again, ringing his hair out for a moment before letting it fall over his shoulder. “That stuff is pretty dangerous. Heh, just look at my finger.” Following his words, Sen lifted up his hand to show the small red mark on the tip of right finger. The burn its self wasn’t actually all that bad. Sen just wasn’t use to burns unless it was caused by the sun. He had been lucky enough to avoid any burns from Spit, his Houndoom. Though how was a mystery to even him. “So, you must really like your trainer, huh?” A lucky guess, and most defiantly not same ‘like’ in Sen’s mind as in the picture. Sen simply put two and two together. A pokemon that enjoyed being with it’s trainer. Kind of like him and Ada. Whether or not Gligar would catch onto that or not was a mystery.
‘Eats a lot of sweets, takes naps but never wants to go to bed a decent time, plays games all the times and doesn’t know right from wrong.’ Ada replied, listing off many of Sen’s known habits. ‘At least he is happy I suppose.’ She too glanced over at him for a moment before shacking her head. Sen was by far one the biggest child around yet she stuck by his side anyway. She never saw her self dealing with children very well, or even having any of her own. Yet there she was, taking care of Sen. It was funny how things worked out sometimes.

[ Alaric ] Glydre had jumped and gave a loud squeak when Sen pulled back with his burn. A half-finished lunge wasn't quick enough to stop the finger in route to the man's gorgeous mouth, and he ended up just frozen watching, claws reflexively covering his own mouth in shock, as the human rushed to the river. When he came out seeming fine, the Gligar relaxed a bit, but still found himself nearly tearing up. He may have no qualms about ripping out entrails in normal situations, but that didn't mean he was okay with being responsible for hurting someone he liked. He did find himself flushing slightly and trying to smile when Sen looked back so soaking wet andwiththatsmileoh- Of course, attention called back to the damage he'd done quickly counteracted that moment as Glydre hung his head in shame, whimpering a bit. He was just about to lose it when the following question caused him to bolt back up a bit, wet eyes wide and blush returning. With a dedication and passion rather disproportionate for the question's actual intent, he nodded hard several times. More than just 'so very much', but 'more than I can express! ;-;' Meanwhile, Honey sniffed a bit in amusement. <And I suppose he's just as bad with wo-... Ah wait, men , wasn't it?> She chuckled very lightly aloud at this, barely smirking. <Though to be honest, sometimes I'd prefer that myself. At least if mine were into men his catches would be a little easier on the eyes,> she noted dryly. <Not that I'm really into humans in general.> Even if I know a few who are... she mentally added, shooting the Gligar a quick glance and half-rolling her eyes, but saying nothing on the issue to the spider. <But their males are a bit more appealing, I think. .. You know, in the way that a flower is nicer to look at than dirt.> That may or may not have been an exceptionally accurate comparison to Honey's default view of human women anymore. All this time, Pistol had been very much considering shooting Glydre in the face. Oh, it would have been a riot. That bat was so highstrung that the Kingdra couldn't help but bug him now and then. But, while he kept leaning back and forth for some time unable to decide, eventually he had given it up. Funny though it may have been, and as much as he did enjoy his type advantage from time to time, he didn't know just what Pokemon the salmon-haired trainer had, and didn't want to risk upsetting him to come up against an Empoleon or some mess. Besides, they seemed to be having fun, and as seldom as Glydre managed that without violence, how could he really have messed that up? Thus it was that Pistol had finally just decided to swim back down the river a bit while no one was paying attention to him anyway, and such it was that he found himself staring at Alaric's shape appearing through the remaining fog now. "Pistol!" Alaric cried in relief, rushing a few steps forward to greet the Kingdra only to realize... "..The others aren't with you... are they..." A few more seconds, and a heavy sigh escaped the blond. "Why me..." And thus, Pistol turned around, and the two continued heading back toward the others. [/blockquote]

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen laughed a little as Glider nodded. “I’m going to take that as a yes! Very much!”” he replied before laughing a but more. He liked this little guy. It was too bad his trainer had run off. Though Sen was certain the man would return. That or these three… err… two… where did the other one go? Eh, anyway, that or these three would leave to go find their trainer. He didn’t want to get his hopes up that neither scenario would happen. It be so cool to take them himself. But, getting ones hopes up left room to be disappointed and he didn’t want that to happen. He was pretty sure it feel bad like fear.
“What do you think he’ll say about your new nails?” Sen then asked, his purple eyes looking down at them, “Think he’ll like them? Maybe he’ll get jealous and go off someplace and get his own done. Heh, I have a feeling he wont let me do them.” The guy seemed edgy enough just being near Sen let alone letting him touch him. “Oh hey I know!” Sen suddenly burst out as he clapped his hands together, “Oh man, you, me. We HAVE to play a prank on him if he comes back! It’ll be so fun!” with that Sen slowly leaned down to his new friend and lowered his voice to a whisper. “Let’s tell him that you wont come back with him unless he gets his nails done. Five bucks says he’ll panic and blush.” He let out yet another chuckle after that.
‘Humm, I suppose I agree, human men are much more appealing than the females,’ Ada replied a tad dryly. ‘I also find most of the female human human’s rather annoying. At times I wish I could just scare them off.’ Sen wouldn’t ever let her though. Sure he wouldn’t get mad at her, but she knew he would find a way to get back at her. Some sort of a prank or something. ‘Can’t say I’m all that interested in my own species either. Had a wild male Ariados follow me around once. After I laid eggs with him I grew this uncontrollable urge to eat him. Think I must have frightened him because he was gone the next day. That or I ate him in my sleep.’ With that she chuckled some before adding, ‘Haven’t really been interested in anyone since.’ which was probably a good thing for male pokemon of the world.
