The Bayleef seemed to lower his head a bit as Ben spoke, yet he quickly perked up again with the words that followed his first. He liked him? That was great! Maybe they could be friends! This man didn’t seem too bad after all. “Bay! Baylee bay!” He exclaimed with excitement, pretty much asking if he would like to be friends. Not waiting for the human to respond, the Bayleef continued speaking, explaining why they would make good friends and all the benefits there could be in it.

The Espeon simply chuckled to himself as the Eevee replied, using the fact that he was a ‘wild’ pokemon as an almost insult. It was cute in it’s own way. Though it did make the Espeon wonder just why this young pokemon was so hasty. Was it the trainer? Most often it was. He, himself, was rather old, and had a few trainers of own. The first trainer he had ever had was a rather kind hearted man, though he had been rather old as well. He had passed him down to his granddaughter who hadn’t been so nice. After leaving her, he had one more trainer, who also had been rather kind. That trainer was a story for another time though. He was wild once again and now spent most of his time protecting and caring for the young pokemon of the forest. <Haven’t you ever heard the phrase, never judge a book by it’s cover?”>The psychic type asked as he sat and began to clean his paw, <

Had she understood the message? They weren’t sure, but she at least picked up the item. Perhaps that meant she did understand… maybe… “Un” The first unknown said in a cheerful tone, once again spinning around before pausing to look at Gavin. She had spoken to it which meant she was paying attention to him, instead of them? How could that be? “Ow!” It squeaked suddenly, in an almost threatening tone as the others suddenly joined it. Without much warning they all began to glow and before long they were forming a ‘Hidden power attack towards Gavin!

The pokemon was annoying in some ways, but normally that meant little with him. After all any pokemon he found that didn't fit his ways he would just shadow or sell for a price. He smiled a bit before stating, "You know, I'm kind of like you a bit. I don't see my family anymore and I don't tend to travel with anyone other then my pokemon." It was true in some ways, that he and this grass pokemon both knew what if felt like to be loners. Benjamin was hated by his older brothers, while this Bayleef wasn't welcome with his family. "Want to come with me then?" He kind of understood this grass pokemon, but he asked this question to make sure that he had understood him fully. He shrugged a bit, but the sudden sound of the Unknown caught his attention as they attacked Gavin. He was tempted to let Raven out just in case they turned their attention to him, but something else caught his eye. Holly crap, that was an Espeon! Though his heartbeat started to race, nothing on his face changed. That small smile/smirk stayed and he tossed his gaze back to the Bayleef. He would wait, besides Frost seemed to be keeping its attention and he would rather the pokemon join peacefully rather then force. Besides if the pokemon ran he would be greeted by his shiny Absol Nightmare, who always stayed with Benjamin no matter where he went. Frost flicked one of his ears as he looked at the Espeon. He gave a small nod at the statement, yes he had heard that. In fact he loved to say the same thing about himself. He looked small and weak but he was stronger than what others thought. Though he was unaware that he was still young and in fact he was wrong, that he was weaker then others. He let out a grunt as his tail flicked a bit. 'I've heard it before. I suppose your going to tell me that I made an error in one of my statements about you?'

Suddenly snapping into actions, Gavin blocked the Hidden Power attacks as best he could though parts of his Protect seemed to crack just a little from the multitude of attacks. "What...what was that for?" Nero asked looking at the Unown and trying to find some sort of answer for the attack. Gavin, meanwhile, sighed afterwards and crossed his arms looking rather annoyed.
