Though she had long since learned one-way-English (that is, a human spoke it and she understood), the Kangaskhan never had learned how to reply back and was instead forced to simply listen to the conversation at hand. Her heart was conflicted over her failure to protect the two people of the house as well as the fact that she didn't extract perfect revenge against the damn idiot. However, something else finally came to her mind. She would never allow the little girl to suffer this way ever again. She'd protect her in all instances.... and no MAN would ever touch her.... outside of maybe this one..... whom she only vaguely remembered as once living in the house.....

Hope Put her down and looked at her. He had broken apart, But she was strong he admired his sister. "I promise we will be in a retirement home together." He said to here smiling and wiping his eyes. "I didn't see Eye to Eye with our parent's does not mean I hate them. We will have a funeral for them right here. I will dig two Holes and we can get some flowers. Hope looked around this is our home and it will remain that way."
The Boy looked at his sister trying to see how she felt about this. He then stood up and looked at his farther's Pokemon. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect them. I will get stronger I will protect you Guys no matter what." Hope had a sweet smile not really big but defiantly noticeable. His salamence walked over and put his head on Hopes shoulder In an attempt to comfort him. Hope began to pet it and took a deep breath.
5 minutes. In 5 minutes a man broke in killed his parents. In 5 minutes him and his sisters lives had been altered. In 5 minutes Hope felt more emotions then he did in the last 2 year's. In 5 minutes History was made.
Hope then looked at Aurora and said "I'm sorry I left you I'm sorry I left them. I promise One day that man will be punished.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] A funeral… right at the house… “ok,” was her only reply to that. She knew it had to be done. Her parents were gone now and that was the proper thing to do but… something inside her didn’t want to fully believe it yet. She had checked, she knew, and yet still. Slowly she turned around to face the Kangaskhan again, a hand moving to her mouth nervously, “Will you help us?” She asked before her eyes wondered over to her Sandshrew. The ground type pokemon had been keeping watch in case the other man came back. “And you too, Sandy?” The ground type nodded, taking one last look to where the killer had run off to before turning to join them.
“You left because you had to.” She claimed as she made her way towards the house, “I understand that.” She had been holding her self rather well, shedding only a few tears and trying her best to stay strong. However the moment she stood in front of the back door she froze. Last time she walked in this door it… Those rooms… the… She just couldn’t do it. She couldn’t go back in there. With a heavy sob she felt her knees give way and she fell to the ground. Her tiny hands covered her face and finally she just let everything, all of her sorrow, flow free.

The Kangaskhan nodded to the girl and the boy. She'd protect them both.. take care of them both... However, as they had headed back to the house and the girl had broken down, the Kangaskhan found tears in her own eyes, and all the large mothering pokemon could do was fight them. She had to be strong for this girl...she had to be strong for this girl... After a moment, she stepped forwards and wrapped her arms around Aurora trying to comfort the girl.

Hope walked over to his now crying sister. [Black]"Your a brave little girl you know that? but there is a time to be brave and a time to let your emotions show. knowledge of these times comes with age, but if your ever unsure just ask me." [/Black]Hope looked at her and smiled softly tears still on his face, but he was no longer crying.
[Black]"You don't have to go inside until your ready OK? hey we can even sell the house if you wan't." [/Black] Hope was saying anything to try and comfort the girl. He walked inside and found two big blankets in an old chest they had. One for each parent , he patted them down because they were a tad bit dusty.
He did not like his parents that mush this was no secret. However he was grateful to them that they gave him Aurora. Right now she was all he had, her an their Pokemon. Besides that Hopes parents were still people and they deserved a proper burial.
Hope took a deep breathe as he covered his farther. Maybe if you weren't such a fool Hope thought to himself. Then he quickly reminded himself to be respectful of the dead. Hope wen't and got a shovel from a closet. Luckily not much had changed in the house.
Hope walked back outside and looked at aurora. Knelling down on one leg to be more at height with her he asked [Black]"Can you go find some flowers?"[/Black]

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] The embarrass from her fathers pokemon was comforting but she just couldn’t seem to stop the tears from flowing. At her brothers words she needed, knowing it was ok to let herself cry right now. She had to cry. After all, she had loved her parents even if they were strict at times. “O-ok” was all she was able to chock out as her brother claimed she didn’t have to enter the home and if she really wanted to, they could sell the place. She wasn’t so sure yet. Perhaps it would become easier to go back inside in time… but right now she just couldn’t do it. Even if they moved their parents she would still remember the fear, the pain… the sorrow.
Once Hope went inside, Aurora turned her head and snuggled into the Kangaskhan seeking it’s warmth and comfort. “Will… will you stay with me?” She asked between her sniffles and tears. If they left the house and few a new home then the Kangaskhan would be all she would have left of her parents.
Meanwhile the Sandshrew waited for Hope to return. He planned on helping Hope dig the holes for the graves. After all, he was a ground type and digging was his specialty. When the man did return, he stood next to him and looked up at Aurora as the question was asked.
“Mmhmm” Aurora nodded in reply to her brothers question before letting go of the Kangaskhan. She would all find as many as she could! With that, she quickly turned heading towards the garden she knew her mother had kept. After a little while she returned carrying as many flowers as her arms could carry. Most of them were daffodils as that seemed to be the type her mother had planted the most of.

The Kangaskhan had nodded at the young girl's words. <Of course, dear child...> she answered back quietly. She'd shelter this youngling and protect her like her own, and no one was allowed to ask questions on such matters without getting punched in the mouth. When the man came back and asked about flowers, the Kangaskhan found herself breathing out as Aurora let go and then walked off towards the gardens. After a moment, she resolved to follow the girl and keep an eye on her not wanting Aurora to be alone ever again.

He looked at the sandslash and nodded his head to the left. Basically gesturing to follow him. Hope walked around the left side of the house and stuck the shovel in two places that were were 6 feet apart. "You dig on the right I will dig on the left."
Hope then began to shovel dirt out of the ground. He was astonished at everything that had happened tonight. Hope saw his sister return and said "Those are perfect." He continued to dig until it was 3 feet deep 4 feet wide and 7feet long. Hope stepped out of the ditch as he wiped sweat from his forehead. He looked at the kangaskan and asked for help carrying the bodies. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sandy went straight to work to digging the hole when Hope instructed what he needed. It took a while but he eventually had a perfect sized hole, finishing only a few moments before Hope had. It had been hard work. The ground hadn’t been moved about here for a long time so it was rather well packed together.
Aurora felt another tear run down her cheek as her brother claimed the flowers she had chosen were perfect. “Thank you, Rain.” She had replied under a half snuffle. She didn’t know how long she would be sad about this entire event. Most likely all her life, but someday the pain would lesson. She hoped… right now it was almost unbearable but she knew her parents would be disappointed in her if she gave up. She had to keep her right foot forward and keep them proud from where ever they may be watching.

At the request of Hope, the Kangaskhan nodded her head slowly and then carefully began to do as instructed. All the while, her mind was angry, frustrated, and something else she couldn't explain. Her previous trainer had not been the kindest man ever, but he had certainly done what he could as far as she saw it. It was then that the Kangaskhan remembered the other house pokemon and made a note to find them when they had finished this work. The last thing that she wanted to do was leave them confused and alone sealed in a pokeball in an abandoned house....

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Aurora watched as her brother and her fathers pokemon left to get the bodies. When they were out of view she squatted herself down in front of one of the holes and waited. Small tears ran down her cheeks as she sat there but she didn't sob like she had before. When her brother returned her eyes shifted up to him and the body he was carrying. The sight of the body and the red stained sheet caused her to look down at the hole rather quickly as her arms squeezed the flowers she held a bit tighter. Now was the time to say goodbye to her parents. Her mother hadn't had the chance to try and protect them. Not like her father had, but she knew both would have and had done everything they could. She would always love them.

The Kangaskhan had went inside but didn't go straight for the man's body just yet. Instead, she went into a bedroom and pulled a few pokeballs from a drawer that she knew about. After that, she pulled a blanket off the bed and came back into the hallway. She breathed inwards, spread her arms outwards, and picked up the father's body slowly before taking him out along with what else she had taken. She was extremely wary of letting Aurora see the things she would, yet there was nothing the motherly pokemon could do at this point. Walking back out, she set the body down into the second hole and breathed quietly outwards before moving to hug the girl gently and holding the two other pokeballs out to the young girl. In the first ball was a Swellow, and in the second was a Salamence both the father's pokemon.... well... not his anymore....

Hope began to Bury the dead bodies a look of sorrow in his eye's. He kept his calm composure the whole time trying to be strong for his sister. When he finished burying his mother He looked up it was a new moon. The darkest of nights how befitting he thought. he turned his body in a 180 and began to bury his farther. It took about 10 minutes for each person. Once finished he smoothed over the dirt with the shovel. Hope then put the shovel against the side of the house. Then he walked over to Aurora and patted her head again. He spoke, but his words were broken and somber. "You should go put those flowers on the graves now." He meant them with his full heart ,but he didn't want to accept it. As soon as the flower's hit that grave it became a reality rather then a bad dream.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Aurora found herself covering her eyes with her arm when the second body came out as well. She didn’t mean any disrespect to her father or to her mother it was just… seeing the bodies again was… Why had anyone wanted to take her family away? What possible reason did that white haired man had for killing her parents? She just didn’t understand.
When the body of her father was placed into the hole, Aurora ran over to the Kangaskhan and leaned on her for comfort. Meanwhile her purple eyes, still streaming with tears, watched as her brother and Sandy began covering the graves back up with the dirt. She had been so concentrated on them that she hadn’t even noticed the Kangaskhan holding her fathers other two pokemon. When the graves were finally finished, she stepped forward with Hope’s words and paused for a moment at her fathers grave. “Always protective and strong for those you love.” She spoke softly, “You’re sacrifice for your fam- f- family will always b-be remembered.” She broke out into a more tears but held her ground the best she could as she placed the flowers down and headed towards her mothers grave. “I’ll always love you mother.” She then stated, placing the last of the flowers down, pausing a moment, and then running back to the Kangaskhan again. She found herself wrapping her arms around the pokemon, crying for a good few moments before finally pulling her head away from her chest. That’s when her puffy red eyes fell on the pokeballs the normal type pokemon was holding. “Th-those are fathers.” She stated with a few sniffles before looking up at the pokemon in her arms.

Though she had wanted to be strong for the little one, the Kangaskhan found tears quietly streaming down her face. Oh Arceus lord of everything, why had this happened? She wished she knew. She wished that she knew and was able to speak to Aurora and tell her that it was all some part of something bigger that the Lord would reveal in time, yet she couldn't begin to express this and was too distraught by everything else to fight the words to even begin in her own pokemon language. Holding Aurora close as the girl held her, the Kangaskhan remained there, and as Aurora finally acknowledged the other pokemon, the motherly pokemon nodded and made a gesture as to give them to the girl. They were hers now as far as the Kangaskhan saw it.

Hope had tears streaming down his face ,but kept his calm composure. He looked to his hand he had a Pokemon it was his most trusted one. He opened it to reveal an Absol. The Pokemon looked at his trainer rather curiously. "Go find some wood please." Without the hesitation the Pokemon ran off to go find some wood. He trusted that his Absol was strong enough not to get hurt. He walked over to aurora and the kangaskhan. He wiped the tears away and manged to calm himself down. He looked at them "It's been a long night you two should get some rest." His voice was calm and he smiled. It would be good for them to get some sleep they had long day ahead of them.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Aurora sniffled once again before taking the pokeball’s offered to her by the Kangaskhan. She stared at them for a moment before looking up at mothering pokemon, “Thank you,” She said softly before turning to look at her brother. She hadn’t even noticed him releasing the Absol to collect wood but instead had looked at him when he suggested that she and the Kangaskhan should get sleep. “Ok,” She nodded before looking back down at the two pokeball’s in his hand. Slowly she held them up to show Hope. “These are fathers.” She claimed softly.

As the girl took the pokeballs, the Kangaskhan nodded gently. She heard the Absol go but hadn't bothered to look up. The pokeballs were now Aurora's as Fate (or perhaps its mistress) decided.
Name: (Originally: Fiona) Species: Swellow Gender: Female Ability: Scrappy Personality: A proud if somewhat old bird pokemon who once ruled the skies, this Swellow has seen the world and is very experienced in aerial maneuvers and has somehow still clung to her speed if perhaps losing a bit of her strength. She's far more cunning than any fox and can outwit her opponents in most situations with a controlled ease. She will do what is asked of her in battle but has a habit of mixing things up a bit and adding her own style to her attacks. Her only weakness seems to be a rather odd obsessive love of sugar and sweet foods.
Name: (Originally: Baron) Species: Salamence Gender: Male Ability: Moxie Personality: Calm and noble, this Salamence knows that he belongs to nobility and behaves himself even under the harshest pressures. That being said, when ordered by his trainer, he can be cruel and unforgiving lashing out at his foes with his powerful attacks. He is generally very thought out and will take things in strides often coming up with a plan and sticking with it until it has finished. However, he rarely seems to regret any full actions after he has taken the road he has chosen even if it may be a bad one in the end.
The Kangaskhan was fighting back a whimper but nodded at Hope reminded then that she had to be strong.

Hope took the poke ball which contained the swellow. He smiled and said "We will take good care of all dad's Pokemon. We should go up north I'm sure there are some there. That comes later though now we rest." Hope walked back to the house and yawned. It was late and he had been up rather early though he didn't intend to go to sleep just yet. He had something he had to do first. "Wait a minute." Hope stopped on the porch of the house. "Did you eat?" Hope couldn't let her go to bed on an empty stomach.
