"Ssssshhh...." Ty said quietly. "It'll be okay, just don't do anything that might provoke it." Seeing the smaller pairs of eyes, he figured it was a family. Without thinking, he stepped forward a little, then shifted so that he was directly between Nami and the Mightyena, Scorch's Pokeball still in hand. [/scrolly]

Ah, just a pokemon... It wasn't like a huge spider that was going to eat her face off or something horrifying. However, the Mightyena still looked angry, and as Ty moved forwards, Nami found herself do so as well. "It's alright girl...." she said quietly looking at the Mightyena. In truth, she had no idea of the gender of the hyena-dog pokemon, yet she went with what had come first in her mind. "It's all right, no one's going to hurt you," she continued in her quiet voice. [Mightyena - F] ~ [2 sets of red glowing eyes, +1 more?]

The fur on the Mightyena stood up a tad more as Ty moved a bit closer to go between her and his female human. Then, Nami moved closer as well, and the growls started up again. It was clear that she did not want the humans to get too close to her. Somewhere behind her, coming from one set of the red eyes, a very small, kind of squeaking growl could be heard. It was far from intimidating like the Mightyena’s growl but the creature was trying at least. Followed by that growl was, not one, but two more voices. The first saying, “Yen!” and the second a “Row!” They both sort of sounded like yelps. How many pokemon were actually back there?

However, before he could let out the Magby, he heard the smaller growls and the bark. He relaxed, lowering the hand with the Pokeball in it. "Nami!" he said softly. "I think she has...puppies. She's not trying to hurt us. She's just protecting her pups." [/scrolly]

"Shhhh....it's alright, Momma.... we won't hurt them," she smiled quietly at the Mightyena. She didn't make any more moves towards the Mightyena but just stayed there keeping a calm smile on her visage. [/scrolly]

[Mightyena - F] ~ [Poochyena - M&F] ~ [Growlithe - M]

The Mightyena’s growls lowered as the human boy backed down some, and before long they come to a halt as the girl claimed they wouldn’t hurt her pups. She was still on high alert and certainly did not trust the two humans but she allowed herself to look back at the three in the shadows for a moment before standing up straight. She did not want any harm to come to her babies but at the same time… she was proud of them! She really did relish in the idea of someone telling her how perfect they were. After all, she could only produce perfect children.

“Migh” She spoke sharply, as if it were a warning to the humans that she would be keeping an eye on them. After that something moved from behind her and a small Poochyena came out. Her tiny head was lowered, and ears pressed against her skull as she growled a little. It seemed she was the one who had been growling before. Followed by the little girl, another Poochyena came out, hiding under his mothers belly. He was rather shy of the humans and had been the one to make the small ‘Yen’ from before. Lastly but not lest, one more puppy came out of the shadows, though this tiny guy was far from a Poochyena. The small fire type, with his orange fur and black strips, stop to press against his mothers front leg. He had a rather big, goofy grin on and didn’t seem at all afraid of the humans. In fact, the Growlithe almost looked like he wanted to go over and play with them. But he wouldn’t just yet. He needed to stay near his mother for protection. Most likely he was the one the ‘Row’ sound had come from.

Okay, so the Growlithe seemed kind of out of place, but it was still so adorable. "I think we should let the family be," he said softly. Damn it, wasn't there anything he wanted that he wouldn't have to tear from a family to get? But hey, that was Ty's morals for you. Ty's eyes scanned the rest of the immediate area. [/scrolly]

They were just so.. cute really. A quiet smile came to the brown haired woman's face before she gently moved closer and reached a hand out to pet the Poochyena who seemed to be the more outgoing of the two. "Hey you... don't bite my fingers please...." she mumbled the last part really not wanting to lose said fingers or possibly a hand. [/scrolly]

[Lightening Bolt] ~ [Lillipup - F] ~ [Escavalier - F]

With mother watching very carefully, the small Poochyena let out another growl, slowly stepping a little closer to Nami. When she got close enough, she stopped growling to sniff the humans fingers before letting out a small sneeze. After that the growling seemed to be done as her tinny tail wiggled excitedly and stuck out her tongue to like Nami’s fingers. Seeing that all was ok, the Growlithe quickly bounced over as well, letting out a few small yips at Nami wanting attention too. The last Poochyena, however, stayed under it’s mothers tummy. It seemed he just wasn’t brave enough to leave her yet.

Off in the distance a sudden yelp and zap could be heard as a Lillipup came racing out from behind a few old crates. It seemed it had angered some sort of Electric pokemon but what type was unknown as it’s voice had been too muffled from the sound of the yelp and zap. The Lillipup was so frightened that it quickly made it’s way under one of the many beds. On top of the bed it had hidden under, a shield bug known as Escavalier could be seen sleeping.

Huh...Calling out Scorch, Ty strayed away from Nami, heading in the direction of the lightning bolt. The Magby dashed on ahead, ready to tear into anything that looked at her wrong. She didn't care what it was; Scorch was ready. Ohdear, looked like old Zang had some competition in the form of the little female Magby? [/scrolly]

"You're so cute," she hummed a bit quietly before looking up at the Mightyena. "Momma where did you find a Growlithe of all things?" she asked looking back down at the other puppy but keeping her smile well enough. As she noticed Ty walking off, Nami looked back a moment before looking forwards again. It'd be alright, heh. [/scrolly]

The Poochyena continued to lick her fingers, getting a little more aggressive with each lick. Apparently they tasted yummy or something. When Nami reached out to pet the Growlithe, he instantly gave a huge smile and began to wiggle his tail so fast it was causing his whole body to wiggle. Noticing that the Growlithe was getting pets, the Poochyena who had still be licking her fingers suddenly stopped and made her way over to the Growlithe. She then used her whole body to move him over, reaching her head out to get it under Nami’s hand, successfully taking his spot. Luckily the Growlithe didn’t look too upset about this as he looked up at Nami with the same big smile and fully body wiggle of the tail.

“Yen.” The Mightyena replied to Nami, claiming the Growlithe was hers. Truth was, when she had laid her eggs, the had laid only two. However, sometime after laying the eggs, and a few hours later, a third had appeared. Being the proud mother she was, she never second guessed it and claimed the egg as her own. As far as he was concerned she had laid three eggs.

Another large bolt of lightening erupted from behind the old crates as a Thunder Bolt was aimed at the Magby. After the eletrict attack was finished, a small, yellowish pokemon emerged from behind the crates, it’s round cheek pockets still sparking. The Raichu’s looked rather irritated with her ears pressed against her head, and her tail drooping to the ground. As she walked her front left paw was held up, causing her limp. “Chuuu” was the growl she gave the Magby as she stopped, her fur raising on her back in anger. She was telling the small fire type to stay away from her. Apparently she wanted to be left alone.

Meanwhile, Ty sighed; Scorch was about as bad as Zang. His eyes darted back to Nami, making sure she was okay. [/scrolly]

"There now," she hummed a bit smiling. However, the sudden sounds of battle suddenly hit Nami's ears, and as she turned her head around again, she found herself watching a fight. Frowning just a little, Nami turned her head back and continued to pet the pup. "You're just adorable heh..." she smiled petting the Poochyena and then making to pet the Growlithe again. She... really wanted to take one... or two... However, she wasn't going to split up the family. She refused that.... It'd just hurt too much.... [/scrolly]

With the sudden noise of the battle going on, the jealous little Poochyena all but leapt into Nami’s arms as she picked her up to put in her lap. Her tiny body then snuggled into Nami as if wanting protection. She was a brave little pup up until there was actual danger around. The Growlithe on the other hand stood his ground, keeping that big goofy smile on his face as if nothing else was going on other than getting pets.

The Mightyena on the other hand, seemed a tad worried about the battle that had broken out. Not wanting any of her pups getting hit by a stray attack, the dark type walked up to the human and her pups, standing between them and the battlers. She did not take on a fighting stance, but with her own body in the way, at least they would all be protected. The little Poochyena who had been under her belly had followed his mother and when they made it to Nami, the tiny guy sat down. His eyes turned to watch the battle and his little ears went down and his body shuck. He was scared ;-;

Noticing that the fire type was not going to heed her words to leave her be, the Raichu readied her body to use a Quick Attack in an attempt to dodge the Flamethrower. However, when her left paw hit the ground, she winced instead and was unable to use the attack. The Flamethrower hit her dead on, causing her to cry out in pain as she held her ground. It seemed she was a stubborn electric type, as her cheeks continued to spark and finally she let out a Thunder Wave.

She really was as bad as Zang. But unlike the Zangoose, Scorch still had some evolving to do. The little Magby dodged the Thunder Wave, then rushed in, fist engulfed in flames as she tried to hit the Raichu with a Fire Punch. [/scrolly]

However, as the Mightyena moved, Nami noticed the other pup again, and a quiet look of concern came across her face. Reaching forwards, she made to try and at least pat the pup too. [/scrolly]

Both the Poochyena and Growlithe continued to soak up the attention they were getting from Nami as she petted them. Though neither seemed to complain when she stopped for the other pup. They both just watched as she reached out to pet him. He on the other hand apparently had something to say about it, as he let out a rather loud ’Yip” in fear when her hand touched him. Instantly he ducked as if almost expecting her to hurt him. Yet when no pain came he found himself just laying their. The Yip had caused the Mightyena to turn her head quickly to check on why the pup had yelped. But when she saw that the pup was fine, she turned her head again to watch the battle.

The Raichu’s attack had missed causing the electric pokemon to panic. As her eyes watched the fire type run towards her with a fiery fist she panicked that much more. In her panic and inability to run away she closed her eyes, her cheeks sparking violently before she let out a Thunder attack. Yet this Thunder attack wasn’t like most. It had no target and instead the electricity went every which way, hitting almost everything around the small mouse pokemon. It hit the walls, managed to hit a Pidove who was sitting a ways away on a beam on the roof and even hit the Mightyena. Luckily it hadn’t hit any of the pups or Nami.

After the attack, which had only been meant to defend herself, the Raichu collapsed to the ground. It seemed she had been letting out all of her energy with that one attack, though even as she laid their, sparks still formed through her cheeks.

Although right now it was hard to tell if she had fainted or was just paralyzed. Ty returned the Magby, then tossed a Pokeball at the Raichu. [/scrolly]

"There there," she hummed a bit grinning to herself. "It's all right," she smiled lightly petting the other Poochyena and then the Growlithe as well. However, when the electricity suddenly went springboarding around the room, Nami tensed quickly and looked back at the Mightynea. "Are you alright?" was the first words out of her mouth as she looked at the large dark dog. [/scrolly]
