.......Was....she hitting on him? The Mienshao wasn't sure what to say or do and ended up just standing there staring blankly for a good thirty seconds. Managing to come to his senses, he rubbed the back of his head and managed something between a laugh and a grumble... a laumble... After a moment, he looked away and smiled just a bit. "Oh really..." he finally answered back trying and failing at a bit of modesty.

Okay, Ari may have laid the charm on a little too thick. But it was so pretty and she wanted it. She had to catch him. And instead of just calling out Midnight and having the Melanistic Rapidash stomp the fighting type into the ground, she continued with what she had going.
Ari flashed a grin, stepping closer, all the while wondering what the hell she was thinking. "Yep~ So why settle for the shiny Luxio when I found something so much...better?"

Hmmmm Better... he liked the sound of that, really. Though the tone the human was using was a tad odd, the Mineshao didn't seem to actively worry too much. It was simply flattery, and heck he would take it~ Why not? It wasn't like he had gone looking for it, but then again, why not embrace what the day gave. "Ah, you're not so bad on the eyes yourself," he answered back after a moment. Ffff what was he thinking? This was a human! But...but....heh....

Ari grinned, though inside, she was wondering what the hell she'd gotten herself into. Oh well, that was something she was used to asking herself, so it really wasn't a big deal, right?
"You're exactly what I was looking for~" she purred, approaching him and putting an arm on his shoulder. See, it was just like she was working over a human. Only instead of stealing from him, she was trying to get him into a ball that could fit in her pocket.

The Mienshao seemed to smile to himself. "I see~" he answered back slowly walking with Ari now. "I'll admit, I wasn't expecting you, but heh...." he smiled easily now. Oh dear what was Ari getting herself into?

Okay , Ari. Just pretend you aren't talking to a Pokemon. ....Wait...how am I going to trick him into getting into the ball? Well then...that was a tough one. Shrugging to herself, she decided just to roll with the punches. "Awwwww~ I was born in the South. Grew up there, but I like to travel, so I have. When out West, I sleep in an old cabin me and some friends bought several years ago and don't use anymore." That's it, Ari. Just chat 'im up a bit.

"Ah I see," the Mienshao answered back nodding his head slowly. "How is it out West? I haven't traveled outside the city much really." He had at one time gone as far as the Watermill Monastery in order to train with a few of the monks there, yet that was some time ago, and after he had left, he had not gone back.

"Beautiful," she answered, leaning against him a little more as they walked, still unsure of where they were even going. "Especially out by the lake. And the cabin's not far from the lake, so I spend some nights just looking at the reflection of the sky in the water." Suddenly, it hit Ari that she now had her opening. "Ya know, if you were to come with me, you'd get to travel a lot; see all parts of Era, and even battle every now and again, if that suits ya~"

The Mienshao seemed to think over this slowly as the image came to mind. At Ariella's words, he chuckled to himself slowly. "I can do that now, you know, though I'm a rather complacent being by nature if you understand," he mused rather halfheartedly. Indeed, he could be rather complacent, yet strength wise... well.. He loved to train, heh.

The Mienshao hesitated a moment at his answer. Indeed, it did get lonely sometimes being on his own... But then... He wasn't alone at the moment now was he? Heh, indeed he was not. "Sometimes, but sometimes unexpected things bring me to meet people," he answered back rather smoothly keeping eye contact with Ari well enough despite the height difference. Indeed, she was rather beautiful for a human, heh.

Ari nodded again. "But what if you find one ya really like? Since it'd be hard to keep contact, just roaming on your own like that, ya know?" She looked at him with a smile; he really was a beautiful specimen. Oh duh...of course he was; that's why she was doing this in the first place. Heh.

A quiet 'heh' sound escaped from the Mienshao. "Then I would ask her to stay with me, possibly... or maybe just travel with her depending," he mused back rather fluidly back at her with a sheepish smile on his face now. Ah this was just becoming amusing among other things. However, somehow, he couldn't deny his heart was thumping a bit more than usual.

The Mienshao blushed a little back but seemed to smile sweetly back at the woman regardless. "Well... what if...?" he hummed back turning his head to one side. "That person was you~?" he finished after a second or so delay as though using the moment to heighten his wording.
