Felix rolled his eyes... damn this chick was vexing him! If only Nee Nee wasn't so nice... to others... besides him... yeah. As he took his spot on the couch again, he glanced sideways at his pets and flexed his hand in an attempt to get their attention. They were too busy chasing Gavin... except for Nubbins, whom knew Felix's movements by heart. He stopped to peer at Felix, causing the man to grin as he made a quick signal to the Skitty and turned his gaze to Yuki.

Miss Nubbins didn't need to be told twice; he mewled and hopped over to Yukiko, pawing at her leg before hopping up into a chair. He turned to face the girl and mewed again, tail swaying. To anyone else it would seem as if the Skitty wanted her attention and affection, and wanted her to get into the chair for much nuzzlings. But Felix had a plan...

However, as she spoke about Gavin and then another Gardevoir, a surprised quiet smile slowly came to her face. Was this woman a psychic type trainer as well? No she couldn't assume that right off the bat, but it was a connection of sorts, and Nero found herself nodding even before she actually said anything. "Yes, I'm sure Gavin would be happy to meet another Gardevoir," she answered back before looking off towards the kitchen where Gavin was working out tea in his slow but very fluid manner. Did you hear that? was the question that vibrated Gavin for a moment. He hadn't truly been paying attention, yet Nero knew how to direct her thoughts stronger than others... or maybe it was just some fine tune hearing on his part; Gavin would never know for sure. 'Sounds interesting' his thoughts projected out to everyone aside from the dark type as he continued to work. As the Skitty came over and then made other motions of sorts, Nero blinked a little but then slowly walked over and directed Yukiko over to a chair before placing her slim form into one as well. Yukiko smiled at the Skitty, scratching his ear like she thought he wanted, and sitting down in the chair pointed out to her. "Oh, good then. I, uhm. There seem to be plenty enough chairs what with, uh, Felix sitting on the couch out there, so. Uhm. Do you mind if I, let Aphrodite out of her ball now or should I wait a few minutes? ..Aphrodite is my Gardevoir."

It really shouldn't be necessary to state that Yukiko was nervously rambling by this point.

Miss Nubbins purred and settled down next to Yuki's right leg, tail swaying somewhat. He was facing the woman, and although he seemed rather peaceful, he had an order from Felix to fulfill. As he was being pet, Nubbins began pawing at Yuki's pocket, sinking his claws into the fabric to see if there was anything inside of them. Yes, he was practically frisking Yukiko's pocket, trying to determine if there was anything worth stealing in there.

Felix simply watched as this occurred, his gaze (and grin for that matter) unfaltering. Oh yes, he could be so devious when he wanted to be...

"You can let her out now," she answered back. Yukiko's nervous tone and manner did nothing but confuse Nero, yet she didn't want to question the woman on it just yet. Meanwhile, Gavin finally finished making tea and had prepared some cheese, meat, and crackers as a side more out of habit than not. Walking back into the room and setting the tea down on the coffee table, Gavin looked towards Yuki and offered a smile before slowly seating himself down and starting to actually pour out the tea. Yukiko nodded and took the appropriate ball from her rather threadbare-looking belt, and released her own Gardevoir, just as blue and glistening in color as the other. "Aphrodite," she said, We've been, ah, invited for tea, and I thought you'd enjoy it, both the tea and, well there is another Gardevoir here I thought you would fancy meeting, and.." Right, she honestly didn't need to say any of that aloud, what with Aphrodite being naturally psychic, having thought-sharing increased by her Telepathy ability, and their own closer-than-usual bond.

Yukiko smiled and accepted the tea graciously, taking a sip before putting it down to try to mollify the persistent Skitty. "No, honey, I'm sure my pocket smells like treats but I don't have any with me..." She sighed, wondering how long she could have kept things going if she hadn't wasted money on food for stray Pokemon and the like around no-longer-her apartment.

Meanwhile, Aphrodite was not at all comfortable. She was curious about the other Gardevoir here, but felt the Dark-type Zorua about as well as Felix's darker intentions, and was not sure why Yukiko thought being here was a good idea. She waved weakly at Gavin, giving a small, 'Hello there...'

Nubbins blinked and looked up at Yukiko, mewling happily before rubbing his head against her in a nuzzle. However, his claws flexed and sunk into her other pocket, once again feeling for anything remotely valuable. Nubbins had some sharp claws too, and sure he may be noticed by Yukiko, but he could lay it off as being affectionate... he kneaded her leg with his paws, sinking his claws in random parts of the pocket to see if he could find anything.

The other cats had gotten bored of Gavin's dress and now piled up on Nero's chair and lap, their purrs drowning out a bit of the conversation at hand. Felix continued to remain silent.

Well now... she was beautiful... and looked just like Gavin shiny wise. As the cats piled up on her, Nero was brought back from her half trance and looked at them all before sighing and petting a few. Looking back at Aphrodite, Nero then looked back towards Yukiko. "She's ....rather beautiful," the dark haired woman commented. She would rarely call a human such things but pokemon were not humans in the general sense....No it was in that obscure moment Nero found herself rather sure pokemon were above humans in most respects. Meanwhile, Gavin had handed the tea out. Nero took her own cup well enough, yet he stopped in mid motion of making a third as he looked at Aphrodite. A quiet smile came to him as well. 'Hello, my name is Gavin...would you like some tea as well?' he asked looking down a moment at the tea before up again. [/scrolly]

In her other pocket, Nubbins likely found Yukiko's slim, old and worn wallet. If opened it would reveal no cash whatsoever, credit card, or anything of monetary value to be honest--just her Trainer ID, and a note with a time, date, and location--the date was two days ago. But of course, one would have to actually open it to see any of that.

In response to Nero's compliment, Aphrodite blushed and sent a psychic wave that said, 'Uh, thanks!' And then to Gavin, she smiled and said, rather more calmly that Felix didn't seem to be doing anything and that these two were so nice, 'Yes, please, I would! And hi, I'm Aphrodite.'

Yukiko, in turn, responded to Nero by saying, "Heh, thanks on her behalf. You probably heard that in your head too but in case you didn't, and all." She took a drink of the tea, more than just a sip this time, and said, "This is quite good, I must say."

Nubbins blinked at the feeling of the wallet and purred loudly. Flexing his claws somewhat, he tried to push the wallet up from Yukiko's pocket but somehow slipped when the woman made to sip her tea, the movement throwing him off balance. He slid to the side somewhat, his claws also sliding and instinctively made to cling onto the nearest source... which happened to be Yukiko's leg. Claws on skin was usually a bad combination...

"You're welcome," she answered back before sipping some tea. "I have many psychic types, and I understood well enough." Which then reminded her.... Where had Sparkie gone? The Pichu, one of her few non-psychic types, had disappeared a good deal prior and had been forgotten about until now. Looking around a moment, Nero then realized the mouse had climbed onto the back of the chair behind her when the cats had flooded and was eying them every few seconds to make sure they wouldn't attack him. Gavin smiled and nodded before filling a cup as well and handing it to Aphrodite carefully. Making himself some tea after that, he finally sat back a bit. 'Ah..feel free to take the cheese and crackers at your leisure' Gavin mused a little reminding Nero of the fact that it was there. After a moment, she reached forwards and took one of the silenced cheese and se it on a cracker before eating at it slowly. "All the cats around belong to Felix. I only have Gavin out at the moment," she spoke calmly. [/scrolly]

Yukiko nodded at Nero's reply to her, and Aph took the tea as well as a cracker. "Is that s--OWW" Yukiko's sentence was cut off as she was scratched, and looked down to the Skitty in question. Rather than be mad, though, she still misread its intentions and said, "Oh, sorry dear for not paying attention to you... Are you wanting up on my lap, or..?

She was quite dismayed about the scratch, but more for the hole it put in her last niceish-looking pair of pants than for the pain. Granted, she didn't really have alcohol to clean the wound with either, but... well, she just hoped it wouldn't get infected.

"If I touch a burning candle, I can feel no pain..."

Felix reacted fairly quick when Yukio cried out, standing and snagging Nubbins from her lap. He held the feline possessively in his arms as he glared at Yukio, almost daring her to try anything against Nubbins. However, at her calm reply, he relaxed somewhat and settled back int his spot on the couch, turning his gaze down to the Skitty and softening dramatically. "Ohh I hope she didn't scare you my Nubby-wubby kins~" He crooned, Miss Nubbins shaking his head and nuzzling Felix's chest.

The other four cats had been watching Yukio and Felix as this occurred, but had also relaxed. KITTY sighed and hopped from her spot on the chair's arm into Nero's lap, turning in two circles before slumping down comfortably. She often did this when Felix visited... KITTY loved Nero. Matsuda and Marissa bounced off the chair and looked at the new Gardevoir and Gavin, looking back and forth between the two confusedly. Misa-Misa joined Felix and Nubbins on the couch, huddling into the man's side. Sparky seemed to go unnoticed for the moment...

It wasn't that it truly bothered her that Felix was being overly protective of his cats nor it was it that Yukiko seemed to be taking Nubbins's actions rather well. Not it was some sort of combination of both that left her sweat dropping a little. "Are you alright?" Nero finally asked realizing that she really should have said something faster than that. Finding KITTY in her lap, Nero blinked wondering when the Zorua had gotten there. Placing a hand on the fox pokemon more out of habit rather than to administer some sort of petting, the dark haired woman waited for the response in case she had to pick up the Zorua and stand up in order to fish out more herbs or medicines. Felix had cleared out a good deal of her storage, but she still had a bit left if need be. Gavin meanwhile smiled at Aph, yet as things went on, he frowned a little and suddenly teleported off for a brief moment before coming back with what appeared to be a more standard medical kit. As she was glared at, Yukiko stared back with unpleasant surprise. She tried to say something, but he was back on his couch before she managed anything.

Feeling the flare in Yukiko's emotions, Aphrodite looked up and gave a glare of her own to Felix, which did not calm when he went back to the other room. <I know you're up to something...> she thought, to herself, but turned back to her tea to find Gavin gone and back. What was that? A... first aid kit or something? Hm, she wasn't certain why she hadn't thought of keeping something like that around. When they have money to spend, she'd need to make sure Yuki bought something like that but more portable.

Yuki, for her part, wasn't one to complain. "No, I'm fine! Don't fuss, really, I am quite all right." Scratches usually heal fine on their own, right?

Felix was becoming rather irritated at this lady. Tch, interrupted an acupuncture session... took Nee Nee's attention... she even thought Nubbins scratched her? Nubbins?! Not his little Miss Nubbins. Speaking of the Skitty, he looked up at Felix expectantly and prodded the pocket of his pants. "Ski! Skitty!" He said to him, <It was in that pocket!>. Felix tilted his head curiously. So this woman did have something on her... hmmm.

But was it really worth it?

Felix's fingers twitched slightly before his right hand formed into a fist. He was becoming very agitated... once he had the urge to deck someone, it wasn't very easy to ignore. He was trying his best considering it was Nero's place, he really was, but the urge was consuming him rather rapidly. His sight began to bleed red... "Hmmm..." He grunted, standing abruptly, flexing a fist. All the cats in the room turned to look at him, even KITTY quirked an ear from Nero's lap. Felix was still fixing Yukiko with a glare... he didn't like her...

"So what the Hell is your story anyway?" He spat suddenly, folding his arms. "This Ranger business and whatnot... sounds like a crock of shit really, I mean..." He grinned cruelly, shaking his head. He then looked to Nero. "I mean just... look! You're too trusting Neeners, this chick is just gunna walk all over you like that Lance bitch." He growled, gesturing towards Yukiko.

'Are you sure you're alright?' he asked a moment after. Nero was quiet at least until Felix suddenly seemed to snap causing Nero to quite literally face/palm. Gavin, however, was far quicker to react speaking wise. 'Do not disrespect someone whom Nero has chosen to let into his home' he snapped but somehow managed to keep a proper air about him. 'He chose to allow her to come in just as he allowed you.' It was odd...Truthfully Gavin would never get used to using the term 'he' when speaking of Nero, but he'd keep her and her secret safe. "Felix......chill out. Now," Nero finally stated looking rather sharply at Felix. Felix was acting weird.. even for Felix. For a brief moment, Nero wondered if she'd have to take him out to restore peace, yet she was opting for a less violent tactic at least for now. [/scrolly]

"Yes, quite s--" Yukiko had started to reply when Felix stood up and asked her (so rudely).

Aphrodite sent a pulse of similarly mad feelings towards Felix for the distress he had and was continuing to put her trainer through.

On the other hand, Yukiko tried to keep her feelings under control and her voice steady. "No, no, he's... got a valid point, since as soon as the conversation left Rangers I never did try to steer it back..." She hesitated, looking around, then decided to summarize as abruptly as she could, "I've wanted to be a Ranger for I don't know how long but there's no Ranger union in Era so I tried to start one then I became homeless because I put all my funds into starting one and I never did get anyone to start but I'm still trying to build interest if not necessarily for my future just a general Ranger Union would be really nice to have in Era."

How in the world did she fit that all into one breath? Perhaps the speed at which she was talking, without taking any pauses where she likely should have or the niceties she usually liked to put in conversation.

As an afterthought, she said, "The, uh, homeless bit is my explanation why I accepted tea rather than just going on to another house as I normally would have."

Chill out? Felix was about to offer a retort to Nero, when both Gavin and Aphrodite spoke to him and/or sent pulses of emotions into his head, which caused the male to flinch violently. "Aaargh!" Whatever Yukiko had said, he had completely ignored it, turning on his heel to glare at the two Gardevoir, a vein throbbing in his temple. Oh yes, Felix was royally pissed. "What did... I say... ABOUT DOING THAT?!" He roared, folding his arms tightly to his chest in an attempt to calm his nerves.

Needless to say, that didn't work.

"I said 'don't do that'. DON'T. DO. THAT. I HATE hearing voices in my head that aren't my own, and you just think because of your fancy ass typing that you can just, meander right in anytime you FUCKING want..." He ranted, his arms uncrossing and hands balled into fists. He made to storm around the furniture towards the two Psychic-types, ready to deck one of them. All of his cats had jumped off their perches and were now clinging to his heels and boots, mewling protest. Felix hadn't heard them, either; He was just too damn pissed off.

Ranger Union... irritated Felix... And.... Felix was after--- Before she even realized it, Nero moved and found herself standing between Felix, Gavin, and Aph. Nero's face was controlled and flat because of this. She had no problems with fighting Felix. "Don't touch them." Whether because of self defense or more possibly Nero's defense, Gavin had already started to draw on his psychic power. He wouldn't hesitate to deck Felix. He was nearly as bad as Rai in some respects, and because of this, Gavin saw them as the same. [/scrolly]
