He set Ari down he then smiled at Blaze. After all his Pokemon had run up the mountain carrying him. "So blaze you ready?" Blaze looked at Ari as if to say of course and to top it off he fired up his wrists as if to say bring it on. Ari scanned the Mesa it was huge. Not to mention hot then again he had his sleeveless jacket on so he was bound to sweat a bit. Ari began to walk and Blaze began to follow. Ari was trying to prove himself as a trainer. He has been having doubts in his abilities. However if he could catch a Dragon he would know for a fact he was good. Ari had his usual I will not fail attitude, but deep down he was doubtful. Not far off, a Vullaby could be seen hopping around pecking at the Mesa as though she were trying to scrounge it for the last bits of food it could possibly have... which was actually exactly what she was doing when it came down to it. In the same area, more or less, a Trapinch was starting to crawl into a hole that he had just dug. A Gligar was a bit farther away watching the Trapinch rather inquisitiveness. However, there was no dragon in site at the moment.

Then in his head he had an image with arrows going through its evolution's. It eventually becomes flygon! he thought rather loudly. It would prove of use in the future. So the boy wandered over to it. Blaze followed and made a somewhat frown that he didn't get to battle yet. "Hey there." Ari said with a smile. [/scrolly]

Stopping at the sound of feet, the Trapinch in question pulled his head out of the hole and looked towards Ari. Hm... was that... walking food? 8U Suddenly making to bite Ari on the leg .. ya know just for a taste... the Trapinch let out a startling roar first before proceeding with action.

Blaze laughed at him it was funny site to see. Ari reached into his bag and took out some poke food and put his hand down to the Pokemon. "Here you go little one." he said ignoring the slight pain. As the smell of actual food filled the Trapinch's nostrils, he slowly let go of Ari's leg before clapping small hands together at the food and then taking it. Oh yes, this tasted a lot better than human did mhm. "Trap!" he smiled before nudging Ari glutinously for more. If there was one that meant there was more right? Obviously! Well... according to him anyways!

Ari showed the small Pokemon a pokeball. He smiled and waited patiently for an answer Blaze scanned the area for other Pokemon. [/scrolly]

8U MOAR FOOD? WHAR? The trapinch's eyes seemed to grow, yet when the pokeball was handed out, he found himself confused. Was there food in there? That must be it! Quickly tapping on the ball in order to try and get the food out, the Trapinch was suddenly drawn inside the pokeball, and the ball itself rang in capture rather quickly. Well...uh... a capture's a capture?

Ability: Arena Trap
Personality: A rather one-track-minded pokemon, this Trapinch focuses heavily on whatever was his initial focus at the start of each appearance. That being said, he's ridiculously stubborn and a few candles short of a birthday cake, but hey at least he's determined? Being a bit glutinous, this Trapinch will bite just about anything presented to him to 'test' if it is food or not. If it is not and no food is presented, this Trapinch becomes rather sad. Overconfident in battle, this Trapinch never backs down and is willing to go the extra mile, with a bit of prodding.

High above, a few Spearow flew by rather peacefully. Farther off, yellow dots could be seen scuttling around as two Joltik fought one another. The same Gligar from before suddenly frowned and shook his head before moving off as though he'd lost interest in whatever had been watching.

Ari blinked for a moment as he picked up the ball. Okay, he said in his head before turning to Blaze. Blaze shrugged as if saying I see nothing of interest. "Alright let's keep walking then." Ari said positively. Then they began to walk looking for a dragon type. He wouldn't give up not yet anyway the day was young. Blaze was hoping they came across a strong one he needed a good battle.

Not far off there appeared to be a cave of some sorts that led into the actual Mesa rock. Deep within, a few Zubat stirred but then fell asleep again. Waddling on the ground right out front of the cave was a Sandile who appeared to be possibly 'guarding' it for some pious purpose. Farther off in a different direction, a Rufflet could be seen cleaning his feathers that appeared.. different from the norm... oh well hello Shiny~

Ari and Blaze both scoured the Mesa for some giant flying thing or just a regular giant thing or whatever. Blaze used his powerful legs to Jump into the air do to his species he could jump very high. He made a three sixty spin to look across the whole mesa for a dragon. Ari looked at his Pokemon he was proud to have Blaze as his friend. [/scrolly]

Far off at the very end of the Mesa, what appeared to be an Altaria was sitting looking out rather peacefully at the skyline. However, she was odd for her coloring. Rather than any blue in the center part of her like one would expect, a soft white was laid out over her. It was had to hell from this distance what color her eyes were, but she was either Albino or Leucistic at least. Damn luck suddenly broke through eh?

He landed picked up Ari then began jumping towards the Pokemon. Ari not knowing what was going on just blinked at Blaze. After a few minutes Blaze reached the Altaria. Then Ari's eyes grew as he was set down. "Hello?" Ari said towards the Pokemon. How would this play out he wondered. Blaze pointed to the Pokemon skin.That's when he realized she was colored differently. Ari was on guard for whatever might happen. [/scrolly]

If the sound of jumping feet coming at her hadn't startled her, the sound of a voice didn't either. However, in recognition of sorts, she slowly turned her head around to face Ari and Blaze before offering a soft smile rather slowly. "Hello," she repeated back at Ari using his own tone and speech. She was far from a Ctatot but seemed to have some sort of mimicry ability, possibly.

You can talk?" Ari asked in an amazed tone. He had never seen a Pokemon talk before. Wow a Albino dragon that could talk Ari's luck was rising as was his hope. Blaze was shocked somewhat to , but he didn't let it get to him. [/scrolly]

At the question on her speech came about, the Altaria hesitated a moment and slowly shook her head. She could understand somewhat... and repeat what was stated with rather nice accuracy, yet she was only partially sure what she was saying at any given moment. "Taria..." she said somewhat apologetically at not being able to accurately answer Ari's question with a 'no'.

Blaze walked over to her and smiled as well "Blaze" he said which translated to hello. Blaze then began to explain why he and Ari had come. She seemed like a nice Pokemon. Ari just gazed as Blaze Talked. [/scrolly]

The Altaria seemed to smile quietly and twisted her entire form around, probably so as to not continue to strain her neck needlessly, before looking up at Blaze as the Blaziken spoke. <Ah, very nice to meet you then> she smiled gently as red eyes (ah so she was an albino then, it seemed) continued to focus on the Blaziken respectfully. As the wind shifted ever so slightly across the Mesa, the Altaria puffed up just a bit before quickly moving to settle her cotton feathers back down again. Ah~ Somewhat windy today, it seemed; far from bad though~

"So would you be willing to come with us on an adventure?" Ari bluntly asked. Blaze face palmed at this why go through the trouble of explaining something if Ari was just going to cut in. Ari fished out a poke ball and offered it to the Altaria. Blaze looked at the Pokémon to see what it would say. [/scrolly]

The sudden request earned a sudden startled look from the Altaria, and she found herself backing up as much as possible without jumping straight off the ledge anyways. <W-...why?> she asked unsure of what to say or do. She understood what the meaning of it was, yet at the same time... to just be so blunt and just... he was asking her to give up her freedom and her home right? That's what she'd heard from other pokemon, and ... most of the time it was never good! <I mean I...> she said tripping over her own words unsure of what exactly to say.
