Garci looked directly upwards, noticing the Spearows hovering over them in the skies. He had feared that rather than them taking a defensive position, they were preparing to swoop down upon them. He made a stance, preparing to send Lexus after them if they started an attack. However, the Larvesta had simply put one of her feelers on his shoes. "If they were going to attack, they would have done it by now." After informing him, she turned back away to notice the Bronzong and the Swablu together.
Lexus waved one of her feelers at the two, perplexed by their strange, blank stares. <Hello! What appears to be the problem?> She tilted her head, confused but willing to welcome them. While walking in their direction, she continued to question them. <Why are you two so high up there? There seems to be machinery everywhere. Doesn't that seem a little.. dangerous?> Garcian noticed her speaking to the Pokemon, and looked at them, essentially staring back. It seemed as though he was returning this blank, emotionless stare, rather resorting his reactions to thoughts in his mind. A Swablu and a Bronzong? What are the chances?

The Spearow continued to fly and then seemed to disappear somewhere into the tower together. The Swablu continued to stare blankly at the Larvesta that was now talking or rather trying to talk to her. <Nothing is the problem> she answered back in a slow meticulous fashion. <I was simply clearing my mind.> The Bronzong didn't speak at all but simply made a small, fluid motion of comformation at the Swablu's words.

Garci watched blankly as the Spearow flew away, and turned his attention back to the Bronzong and its Swablu companion. ".. Lexus, they're just.. staring at us. What do they want? What did they say?" "Shh. I'm trying to figure that out." She was further perplexed by the Swablu's almost monotone voice. <Clearing your mind?> While she was good at reading others indeed, she wouldn't really be aware of any psychic connections that the Bronzong may have been having with the young clouded chick Pokemon.
<Would you two like to come down here? It would be much easier to communicate,> she said, looking particularly at the Swablu. Curious, heavy thing that bell was. <And.. It looks very far up from here. It's not as though the clock could suddenly spring back to life, but I would say that could be a little bit worrying.> Garci, however was looking at the Bronzong. Its bizarre design made it look like a proper Pokemon that any aspiring Steel type trainer would want. There was this one Hoenn trainer, you see, he was once the region's Champion, and- well, it shouldn't be uncommon knowledge as to who he was thinking about when he saw it.

The Swablu suddenly seemed to blink and nodded slowly understanding. Raising her wings, she glided downwards before landing on the ground now looking forwards and just a bit up. <There> she mused quietly. The Bronzong seemed to wait until the Swablu had landed on the ground before slowly starting to float down to the ground before finally landing. "Is there something you wanted from us?" the Bronzong asked psychically speaking so that Garci would hopefully understand as well.

Garci was now of the belief that Psychic Pokemon were fun Pokemon to commune with. This Bronzong certainly wouldn't be any different from before, from that Hypno that he may or may not have already communicated with. "Nothing in particular. I just wanted to know why my Larvesta was talking to you two." Lexus looked at the pair, and tilted her head. <No, I just wished to make your acquaintance. The stare you two gave us gave my Trainer a little bit of a fright, is all. I am Lexus,> she announced, nodding to the Bronzong and then to the Swablu.
Again, Garci realized that he wouldn't really be able to hide anything from the giant Psychic bell cast of steel and its fluttery cloud-winged companion. You're a Bronzong? I didn't even know Pokemon like you were around these parts.
The realization didn't happen to sink in that he was in a Clock Tower and that a gigantic steel bell capable of telekinesis was more than a fitting pair. Lexus, noticing that Garci was trying to communicate with the Bronzong, decided to approach the Swablu instead. <I apologize if we were interrupting something.>[/blockquote]

The Bronzong seemed to take in the thoughts of the man rather calmly and in a controlled manner. The Swablu blinked slowly for a second and slowly made a nodding action as she understood. <Ah, we didn't intend to be frightening. I was allowing the Bronzong to see a memory of mine but I had to focus on it> she mumbled in a quiet but rather controlled voice. The Bronzong waited until the man had fully replied and then waited again as Lexus spoke before nodding. 'It is perfectly fine' he reassured calmly. 'As for the tower.... I have lived here since...being in my previous stage' he stated trying to make sure that he got the exact account correctly.

Lexus tilted her head curiously. Of course, she was naturally aware of the fact that Psychic types were able to access the minds of another Pokemon's, but she hadn't realized that they could access their memories. Perhaps she was simply making guesses, but she decided to say, <Ah. I am assuming you two must be close? I've seen examples of mental links before, but I have yet to have seen two close enough to share memories.> She went on, rather curious.
Garci nodded as the Bronzong explained itself. For a split second, perhaps even more, he thought about the pure advantages as well as how nice it would be to have both the rare Swablu and the Bronzong in his party, but quickly realizing himself, shook his head to remove the thought from his mind. 'Hm. I suppose the only way I can explain myself is that I have been traveling along with my Pokemon here for a while. I'm guessing it's sparked a little bit of a commotion, what with all of the wild Pokemon scattered about and hidden. I'm surprised that you two are so out in the open.

The Swablu nodded a bit still keeping her quiet and calm motions. <Yes... He found me when I was much younger. There had been a sort of storm that blew me here. I thought I would leave as soon as I could, but I ended up staying here, go figure.> she seemed to smile ever so slightly at her own wording now. Though she didn't warm up to others very easily, she could at least be civil enough to carry out a conversation as she saw it anyways. Though Lexus probably hadn't meant to, the Larvesta had stirred a sort of odd but curious thought in the bird pokemon. The term close, really, was what was now playing in the back of the Swablu's mind as she tried to decide how to explain better....
The thoughts of Garci had come to the Bronzong, but whether from a civil understanding or a simple belief that he should only read the thoughts that were outright directed at him, the large psychic didn't seem to allow himself to register what he had heard of Garci's thoughts until the man directed his thoughts at him. At the words from the young man, the Bronzong made a rather interesting 'smile' of sorts. 'We don't fear anything in the tower,' he asserted not in a prideful manner but something more of fact and simply of an idea conveyed.

The Larvesta listened to her explanation, nodding. A first assumption, she made, had her believing that the Swablu may have had been saved by the Bronzong, but as she continued, she shrugged the thought off and continued to listen. Whether or not she was aware of it, she was trying to scan the Swablu's disposition with her eyes. Although she wasn't an adept at the art, her ability as well as the clear motherly personality within enabled some mastery in reading others. Tilting her head slightly, she uttered softly, <Were you going to say anything else?> She said it in a sort of sweet, inviting tone, not attempting to coerce or condescend, but to simply question.
The boy was, of course, unaware of the Bronzong's self-made policy on thoughts, and therefore still concerned about what the peculiar steel-bell-thing was thinking. While not directed at it, anyone with any mind-reading capabilities could easily determine that there was an overload of concerned thoughts beginning to stem from the young man's mind. However, he retained his posture and his demeanor physically, standing and listening intently. 'Not even trainers? I suppose a Pokemon like yourself would be more than capable of holding his own, but you'd seem to be a valuable asset to any trainer's team.' He meant to convey that as a compliment, rather than some sort of threat of capture. This, of course, was another thing he was concerned about.

The Swablu hesitated a moment before offering something of a calm smile to Lexus. <Just... not sure how to word it, exactly...> she answered back rather carefully organizing her words as though she was fearful of not being understood in the way thats he wanted to be. <We're something of... family> she mumbled a little before quickly explaining. <The Bronzong and I, of course.>
The thoughts mixed themselves, yet the Bronzong deciphered them with a rather interesting ease. 'Trainers come, and trainers go' he hummed a bit not really answering the boy's question nor making any sort of effort to try and soothe the young man's worries. However, after a second or so, he decided it would be courteous at least to address this. 'Some pose a challenge, yet I can fend for myself well. Are you one of those?'

(Hooray for not being dead!) Lexus nodded and smiled at the Swablu, still intrigued at the two's sense of family. She was curious, and wished to hear more. <Family? That's very nice. I suppose that's the only way you two could establish such a close mental link. If you don't mind me asking, could you tell me a little bit of your history together? I'm just curious, is all.> She nodded again, trying to affirm what she said is the truth. For a moment, she turned to inspect Garci and the Bronzong's interactions. Realizing that they must be connecting telepathically - given Garci's intent look into the Bronzong's eyes - and left them to it.
Garci mulled things over as the Bronzong asked him. 'Well, if that's the case, you must have had quite a few conflicts before. It's too obvious to assume that you're well-trained, I can see it in you. My Pokemon, on the other hand, aren't quite the most experienced fighters yet. Unless I wanted to flee the tower with my entire party wiped out, I would not quite challenge you. That aside, the only Pokemon on my team who has a serious interest in fighting is, well, sort of tired.'
He released Bellator for a moment. The Shiny Pawniard teetered around in a slight daze. He already had a couple of pretty staggering battles, but it seems that he could be interested in more. Unfortunately for Garci, Bellator immediately went to the conclusion that being sent out means that Garci wanted to fight. Honing his blades again, he prepared a Hone Claws, staring intently and vigorously at his target. His trainer looked down at him and shook his head. "Bellator, we're not going to do this again. Not after you fought twi-" Again, unfortunately for him, the Pawniard already sprung forward, leaping straight into the air. While in mid-air, he attempted to slash right down at the massive bell with a Night Slash. Little did he seem to realize that, in his haste, he probably left a huge opening by attacking from the air to a Psychic type Pokemon in the first place.[/blockquote]

The Swablu hesitated but slowly smiled a little. <As I said, I'd been blown in by a storm and was rather badly injured from things that had been flying in the air... and when I woke up.. he was there as a Bronzor helping me get food and healed up. He apparently lived in the tower forever and showed me around...I... was sure I was going to leave but... I guess I fell in love with the ...tower, you could say> she answered back as a slight blush came to her features. <And so I ended up staying here.. we watched a lot of trainers come and go... and he seems to like battling quite a lot....so there was always something to watch...> she sighed.
Meanwhile, the Bronzong in question was hit by the Night Slash, yet being part steel, it didn't hut him as badly as it could have. 'Not bad.. but you seem tired...' the Bronzong commented. Forming a Hypnosis, the Bronzong made to cause the ambitious dark/steel type to fall asleep.

Lexus heard her story and snickered to herself, feeling that there may have been more than the Swablu let on. <Really? I see now. Seems like a fine life to live.> She nodded again, and decided that it would be good enough to leave it there. Internally, of course, she was gushing with intrigue. Lexus, probably like many others, could probably detect something much deeper in the simple surface of the Swablu merely falling in love with the tower. Lexus slowly turned to watch the Pawniard at least attempt to fight off the Bronzong, with most likely limited results, she believed.
Garci shook his head slowly as Bellator made his successful strike. "See, I can hardly control him. It's almost a problem, but it probably will be a bigger one if he keeps doing this." Rather than withdraw him, he watches the Bronzong's reaction to the attack.
Which was, of course, given the circumstances, entirely successful. Bellator, snarling and prepared for another attack, attempted to launch a Faint Attack on the Bronzong. Leaping forward, he attempted to fake the bell out, give him a cheap strike, and end up on his opposite side. However, in the middle of this action, he found himself afflicted by sudden waves of energy. Growing tired almost immediately, he meandered about for a few moments after launching a half-hearted attack. Falling face-first on the floor, he sounded fast asleep. Aw. He even curled up too. He looks so peaceful.
Garci shrugged at the whole display. "I really shouldn't have expected any different a result."
Calling the Pawniard back, he looked back at the Bronzong. "See, this is why I can't really oppose you. I COULD command Lexus, but she's having such nice banter with your Swablu friend that I'd hate to interrupt her. Well.. I assume it's nice banter, at least." Lexus, after her little conversation, smiled with a sort of sympathy for his behavior as she watched Bellator fall slowly, shaking her head. <He never seems to learn...>[/blockquote]

The Swablu simply smiled a little and nodded her small form. The Bronzong took the half-hearted attack without much complaint before looking towards Garci and nodding in understanding. 'I understand...' he answered with a coy 'smile' of sorts. 'You're logical notions are above that of the average human, you know' he hummed. It was his version of a compliment, really. This human knew what he was talking about which, for whatever reason, seemed rare among the species.
The Swablu watched the interactions of sorts and slowly brought a fluffy wing to her beak trying to quiet the initial laugh that was coming to her. It was amusing, indeed. <I think it's a male thing, to be honest> she chuckled quietly to herself but somehow ended up blushing in the process. Looking rather quickly back at Lexus, she made to 'whisper' to the Larvesta. <But sometimes I find it a silly attractive trait...> she giggled for a brief moment before falling somber again.

Garci looked back at the Bronzong in response to his little compliment, shrugging. 'I don't know, I don't think so. It's just sort of basic thought when you think of things from a certain standpoint. See, I really WANT to capture you, but I know that for one, you're way stronger than any of my Pokemon, and two, well, the only one really willing to fight just got incapacitated.'
The incapacitated Pokemon in particular still remained asleep, totally unperturbed by any of the chaos that may have been happening with the lively Pokemon living in the tower. Which there are many of. In the clearly intact tower. For now. Garci nodded at Bellator. 'I suppose you might end up being the one that got away. I caught quite a few Pokemon here, and I was intending to capture a few more.' He rubbed his chin pensively, after already having stated his intent to the massive bell, what more could he possibly do? 'I managed to nonviolently persuade some Pokemon into joining my team by giving them the chance to explore, but since you're satisfied here, I don't think I'm really able to do that. You've really set yourself up well here.' He shrugged, seemingly conceding. Lexus watched Garci's strange gesticulations, and continued to dismiss it as telepathic communication. He seems to like doing that now. Turning back to the Swablu, she giggled in agreement. <Even Garci's the same way.> She gestured slowly to the human again, just to confirm his identity. <He's so stubborn. It's almost cute how he always seems to snap for no reason.> Listening to her second comment, she giggled even more. <Do you? I think I can see what you mean..>[/blockquote]

A quiet chuckle of sorts escaped form the Bronzong, and he shook his entire body for a brief moment before looking at Garci again. 'I see' he hummed a little thinking Garci over. He'd seen humans and pokemon get along (how would he have battled otherwise?) and this human seemed rather interesting....But then the thought of leaving the tower came to him, and he found himself looking it over again. 'I'd actually like to learn a bit more of you... though not in any way other than can be established by relations and being around one....If you plan to return to the Clock Tower frequently, I might allow you to capture me...' A cool and rather interesting chuckle escaped from the Bronzong before the large bell fell silent again.
The Swablu perked a little and simply smiled nodding her head a bit and blushing slightly. After a moment, her eyes looked off towards the males again. <I....> she started but fell silent again unable to adequately express what she felt at that moment. If only the Bronzong would just....really know... what she wanted, heh...

Garci nodded carefully at the bell. I don't see how I can refuse a proposition like that. And, well, the place has sort of grown on me a little. Who knows, I might come back sooner than you think.
He stretched for a moment, holding out Bellator's Pokeball and withdrew him. I think it's about time Lexus and I start heading for home. It's a little ways away, but I'm sure we'll be fine. Thank you for your company. He gave the bell a short nod out of gratitude. At least he didn't destroy his whole party. Lexus looked again at the Swablu's slight blush, able to notice it nigh-instantly. She giggled to herself at the Swablu's apprehension at saying anything, and felt like she knew all about what she was thinking. "Lexus, we're going to go now. Say goodbye, because we are taking the long way down the tower." Upon hearing this, she sighed. She wanted to talk to her interesting new friend some more. With her, she could feel like a teenager again. .. Well, she was essentially a 'teenager' in the sense of her evolution, but still. "Ah, very well. I'll follow you down." She whispered into the Swablu's ear quietly, smiling. <Good luck.> As the boy went on his way, Lexus hesitated, but went down the stairwell to follow him. They seemed to be going at a much more leisurely pace, as if trying to absorb everything they experienced in the clock tower today. "I guess I enjoyed myself. What's more, I got some Pokemon to dangle over Cricket's head." "I don't.. I don't really understand. Why are you holding this one-sided rivalry with her?" "Because she knows she won't hear the end of it from me. She dumped my things off the harbor, so I'll break her with all of this valuable Pokemon." "I.. you really are a child, Garci." As they went, the two of them were surveying the floors. Neither one of them truly seemed to want to leave, but it was starting to hit a later hour. Maybe, though, they could see one or two more Pokemon before leaving. Or three. Or four.[/blockquote]

The Bronzong simply nodded a little in understanding before slowly looking over towards the Swablu. The small bird pokemon smiled and flew over towards him chirping happily as she did so. <Did you have an interesting conversation?> she asked before fluttering to the top of the Bronzong and sitting there. The Bronzong chuckled to himself. <Yes... it was very interesting...> he answered back.
As the man and his pokemon started their trek out of the tower, a Klang could be seen floating dismally around as if she could possibly be doing something more exiting but was preferring not to. That seemed to be the only other pokemon in the immediate area.

Lexus saw the Klang as a great sign of social activity, but found herself interrupted. <H-> Garci immediately picked her up, deciding to tolerate a little bit of bug fur on his vest. "We're on our way out. Besides, I've already got a Klinklang." He clutched the ball containing Thanos in his hand. This set of gears was quite the rare catch alone, he believed, so what'd be the point in catching that other Klang? Lexus looked slightly perturbed, but decided not to let it get to her. She didn't see the point in skipping her, but it was what he wanted.
As they continued along, they found themselves on the ground floor yet again. "This was where we met that Pikachu, right?" "Yes, Garci." "It almost feels as though it has been days since we've been down here. Ah, well. I am certain we will be back here eventually." He couldn't resist temptation. He was clinging onto the hope of one last rare Pokemon like all the others, wishing and faithfully believing that he wasn't all tapped out of luck. He inspected the base floor for any other Pokemon of interest.

On the bottom floor, a Pidgeotto could be seen pecking at something on the ground, possibly some fallen seed or something. Next to her were three young Pidgey doing much the same as their mother as they pecked at the ground. An obscure Pidove was in this odd group and seemed to be following on with what the other birds were doing despite not being of the same species line.
