Brown eyes examined the lit, active area of Party Central where they'd landed. This was NOTHING like the moving village in the dunes that she'd known all her life. It wasn't even remotely close to the few neighboring areas that Bret and Michael let her go to.

The girl's jaw dropped, looking very much in awe. "Whoa...Skye...are you seeing this? It's like....so different from home. It's like a whole other world." She briefly looked back at her cousin/future boss/best friend, then back to the surroundings.

"It's...huge.." the white haired girl answered back quietly. "And.... colorful..." she mumbled a little before looking back at her cousin. As a man walked past, Skye's entire body tensed, and almost instantly she moved behind Fang finding one hand on the girl's shoulder habitually. What? No of course Skyler wasn't scared to death of this place. Of course the fact that it didn't even look natural was not unnerving nor was the sheer number of people making her uneasy. Trying to keep herself from shaking, Skye watched as the man passed and slowly came back out from behind her cousin again. "I...I..." Skye mumbled but fell silent again. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

Fang watched as the man went by, and blinked at Skye's hand on her shoulder. Wasn't she just....Oh well. From the people, to the lights, to the buildings, Francesca Allison Moccasin was just....awestruck. The crowds were a little unnerving, but, eh.

When the man passed and Skye joined her side again, Fang grinned, pulling out a wallet she'd concealed for about a minute. Opening the wallet, she pocketed a wad of money and discretely dropped the wallet on the ground, leading Skye down the street. "That fixes our money issues," she whispered with a grin. "So....anything look interesting?"

"Fang... That's not our money though..." the girl whispered quietly looking back towards the man that was still walking down the street. Though it was true the Vipers were a rough bunch, they didn't usually outright steal. They were drug traffickers and controllers not petty thieves. Then again, they needed the money and just... Skye found herself conflicted and ended up staring at Fang trying to see if she understood what sort of inner conflict was going o inside. [/scrolly]

Fang blinked, looking at her taller cousin. "It is now?" she said with a small grin, pocketing the money. "We needed it. And besides, I was careful," she explained, as if this made perfect sense to her. In fact, it did.

"Should be enough to get us through this adventure, and we might have a little extra to split after." Fang grinned, taking her hand. "Now let's go do something~"

Thus, she simply took Fang's hand and started to walk around once more. Red eyes scanned the area, and Skye's head turned this way and that. There was so much to see even in the day light hours, and it made Skye wondered what it was like at night- no. She didn't want to go out at night. Who knew what could be lurking around the corner at night? Well, she had Fang there, at least, and that was a comfort if any. "Hey look at that!" Skye stated after a moment making a motion over to what appeared to be some sort of canscino-esque building. There were quite a few people walking in and out of it even during the day time, and the fact that some looked so happy while others looked clinically distraught confused her. "I wonder what's in there..." she mumbled before pulling on Fang to head over in that direction. [/scrolly]

Fang sighed softly to herself; sometimes she wondered about Skye, what with her seeming to have a sense of morals from out of nowhere. And yet...at the same time that made the other girl quite interesting. It made part of her wonder what kind of a gang leader Skye would turn out to be, but the other part wondered if maybe that's what the gang needed.

Fang's thoughts were shut off by Sky's statement, and Fang turned to look at the strange building. Huh...that was interesting. Some people walked out happy while others looked broken...Fang pondered what could be in there for a brief moment, but just a brief one.

"Only one way to find out," she replied with a sly grin. Her intention was to pull Skye towards the building, but Skye seemed to be one step ahead as Fang found herself the one dragged toward the building. Heh...maybe Skye was more like Fang than either of them would admit.

Stepping back for a moment, she shook her head and forced herself to step forwards again walking further into the casino as she did so. There was a bust of sounds, lights, and games all over... and people seemed to be doing more than just playing those. Others sat around at tables and held cards to their faces while still others were rolling dice or something down a board. "Woah... it's... like one big game place..." the silver haired teen mumbled as she continued to walk around. "What do you think Fang...Fang?" Skye looked around startled to find that the woman was gone. EP....... [/scrolly]

Fang looked around; the lights, the sounds, the people. The games looked so interesting, nothing like the gambling she knew back home, which was....well let's face it they're gambling was placing bets on Pokemon battles. But this...the dice, the cards, the machines....it looked like fun!

"Hey Skye, we gotta try some of this stuff. Sure beats the hell outta home." She looked back to her cousing. "....Skye? Skye?" ....Hu....she was gone.

Fang's first thought was that Skye saw something interesting, but the second was that Skye hated crowds, and until now had been stuck under her like a newborn pup. So, they'd either gotten separated, or....something happened. Something bad.

One hand on the gun at her side, Fang forced her way through the crowd. "Hey, Skye!? Where'd ya go? Skye?" Fang wasn't scared, not now, not ever. Although...she may have been a little worried for her cousin. Okay she was REALLY worried for Skye; she got really scared sometimes and Fang had to be there for her...

Skye backed up a few steps and looked backwards only to bump into a man at a pool table who turned and leered at her. Quickly backing up, she twitched a little and did her best to keep moving. Al around her people were doing things, and the chaotic feeling in the air was only heightening her fear. "Hey you..." A hand reached forwards and set itself on Skye's shoulder. The young woman had to fight the urge to scream and ended up making a weak 'ep' sound as she twisted around to see who it was and backed up. Lexington Fawks stared at Skye for a brief moment with a curious look on his face "Ya ok, dude? You looked kinda panicked.." he stated. Skye was dead silent but slowly nodded. She... she was alright. She was alright.

"I just...need to find my cousin.." she squeaked before turning to leave only to find the hand on her shoulder again. Freezing, she internally flinched before looking back.

"Hey Lex, I don't think he appreciates that," a blue haired man with similar golden eyes as 'Lex' walked up and shook his head. "Just let him go~" The hand was released from Skye's shoulder, and she quickly stepped back and away again. Both boys looked at one another before shrugging and offering smiles back at her. Skye hesitated but slowly smiled back. "You said you was looking for your cousin?" Law asked. Skye nodded a little. "Well... we'll help ya out. What does he or she look like?"

"Reddish black hair...she's shorter than me..." Skye mumbled weakly. The two nodded and then started to look around the casino. Unintentionally at least at first, Skye took this moment of their distraction to turn and run through the crowd. Something about those guys had... had really scared her... Something about those... gold eyes.... Rushing past a few people and knocking into a few more, she tripped and ended up falling flat on her face.

"Ya ok, kid?"' a voice asked, and as Skye looked up, she found a black woman with teal hair and yellow eyes looking down at her extending a hand out to help her up. Unlike those luring golden eyes, these at least appeared to care a little. Nodding her head, Skye took the hand and was slowly pulled up to her feet. Gwen, meanwhile, smiled a little at the white haired boy and then patted him on the shoulder before turning back to her game. Upon seeing this, Skye let a breath out and once again started to walk around.

"Fang? Fang where are you?" the white haired girl called.

[KARP KARP!]

Fang continued to elbow her way through the crowd. "Skye...?" Okay this was like looking for a needle in a haystack. She sighed, moving toward what looked to be a blackjack table, and a lot of commotion, it seemed...

"What do you mean I cheated? I won!" A man with dark hair and a die for an earring seemed to be arguing with the dealer.

"Sir, I use red backs on my cards. The ones you flipped over had blue backs...And naked women on the front."

"What are you talking about? You're just mad cuz I won fair and sq--" At that moment, Ace was grabbed by the collar by a large bald man in a black suit.

"I'm a bouncer for a livin. Deal with punks like this all the time. I got this." With that, Fang watched the man get dragged outside by the bigger one. "Ohhhkay....."

She pressed on; as amusing as that was, she had to make sure Skye was okay. Instead, she bumped into a purple haired woman at one of the machines.

"Hey, watch it!"
"Oops. Look, I'm looking for my cou---"
"Show some respect, will ya?" Wow...this woman seemed pissed for some reason. She was probably losing...
"I'll show ya somethin' all right..." she muttered as she walked away, finally seeing...

"Skye!" She recognized that white hair anywhere.

Skye's head whipped around, and sure enough, she caught sight of Fang. Skye didn't waste a second. Turning quickly around, she made a dash towards Fang and hugged her quickly burying her face in Fang's shoulder. "Fang oh God where were you..." she whimpered a little. [/scrolly]

Fang hugged Skye back, comfortingly rubbing her back much like a mother would. "I'm so sorry. I turned around and you were gone. I'm glad you're okay though. From what I've seen...the people here are batshit." She gave a laugh, shaking her head at what she'd seen.

People in here were just chaotic and loud, and she didn't know any of them which was the biggest of problems at the moment. "I looked around and suddenly you were gone, and..." And with all this madness, Skye needed a constant in her life at the very least. She wanted one, she craved one. Fang would suit the bill for now. [/scrolly]

"I know," Fang whispered softly. "I'd never leave you. Not on purpose. No matter what happens, I'll be here, I promise." Fang pulled away from the hug before looking around, then letting her brown eyes meet Skye's red ones.

"Hey, what do ya say we go try and hunt down some Pokemon now? Just you and me. I swear I saw something in a back alley earlier, but there's only one way to find out." She flashed a grin.

Upon finding the exit, she took Fang's hand and quickly started out. She was tired of being there, but she guessed if they could get out of that part of the city, it would be alright. Upon actually getting out, she breathed in and relaxed. It felt so much better to be out and away from all the chaos in there. [/scrolly]

[Maid Melody]

Just as the two girls left the casino, a shrill squeak was heard from directly underneath them. It seemed that the poor Pichu had gotten her tail stepped on and was now crying uncontrollably.

A little further away, it seemed there was a....painting war going on between a ... what was this? A Smeargle and a Purugly..........how odd.......

Fang jumped at the squeak, her hands instinctively reaching for her guns as she looked around and then finally looked down, putting her guns back onto her belt as she blinked. "Oops..." she murmured, kneeling down to check on the poor Pichu. "Oh...you poor thing...." she whispered, reaching out to pet it. "I didn't see you there," Heh..she was looking for a Raichu or one of its pre-evolutions, anyway. So it was just her luck that she'd step on one.

"Hey you found a mouse..." she smiled before bending down to it and offering a grin for a brief moment. However, in another moment the sounds of something else hit the teenager's ears, and her head turned to see the .... Smeargle and Purrugly. Blinking, she stared at the paintbrush dog and the large fat cat in awe. She hadn't seen such a thing before, and they were... painting? Suddenly rushing over, Skye offered a grin. "Hey can I paint with you guys?" she called. [/scrolly]

[Maid Melody]

The Pichu felt Fang pet her and flinched away, not wanting to be hurt again. Her tail hurt and and ;-; ...hearing Fang speak, the Pichu sniffed and looked up at Fang with wide, tear-filled eyes. Pi...pichu..."she whimpered, shaking slightly as she spoke. It seemed the Pichu forgave easily at least...the poor dear was still rather scared to say the least.

The Smeargle and Purugly both jumped when Skye suddenly came up on them. It seemed they had both been so absorbed in their perspective paintings that they hadn't heard her come up on them. The Smeargle was all too happy to oblige and handed Skye a paintbrush before turning back to his painting. The Purugly sighed and nodded, a little reluctant to oblige but since his opponent had said yes...well he could hardly say no now could he.
