Bianca

Sometimes, a woman just had to get out of civilization for a little while. Sure, eventually the bars and the pounding music of the nightclubs would draw her in like a moth to a flame, and she'd surrender to the night life again, but for now she was looking to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Serenity Gardens seemed like the obvious choice, and Bianca strolled her way through the flowers and shrubs, just taking in the atmosphere, occasionally pausing when a wild pokemon got close enough to be seen. Today wasn't a day for training, however. No training, and no work. She needed to just get away from life for a few hours

Eventually, she came across a particularly vibrant patch of purple flowers and smiled. She walked over and sat down, which quickly turned to laying down as she flopped backward with a small giggle. Oh, yes, this had been a perfect idea. She let her eyes slip closed as she inhaled and exhaled slowly, savouring the scent of the flowers and feeling her body relax.

Then, of course, Bianca being Bianca, she quickly drifted off to sleep. Anyone who passed by would see her just laying on her back in the flowers with a small, contented smile on her face, oblivious to the world.

[KARP KARP!]

Bianca wasn't the only one looking to get away today. Muse had finished up her tutoring for the day, and, let's face it, she didn't want to go home in the least. And since she lived out East now...she didn't have far to go. Blah. So, the green haired woman made a little....detour through the gardens. She just needed to relax. Maybe time away from her family was really all she needed.

So, she took a walk, alone, taking in the fresh air and the sent of flowers. But suddenly, looking down, at the patch of purple flowers....Was that....was that a foot? Oh good there was a person attached, at least, but still. Someone was sleeping in the flowers, heh...

"Heh....looks like the flowers had a baby..." she murmured with a smirk, looking down at the woman, whose hair seemed to match the flowers perfectly.

Whether she sensed the presence of another person on some level, or it was just coincidence, Bianca started to stir, letting out a soft, incoherent mumble and rolling onto her side...resulting in a nose full of tickling flower petals, which woke her up a bit more and made her roll back over onto her back before she finally opened her eyes.

...Well, hello. She blinked up at the other woman, then gave a smile. "Hey there," she said with a bit of a chuckle, starting to sit up. She hadn't yet noticed the fact that her hair and the back of her shirt were covered in purple petals.

[KARP KARP!]

Muse blinked as the woman started to stir, waking up, and covered in petals no less. Heh...it looked like the flowers really DID have a baby, of sorts. Muse had to grin at this thought, brushing a piece of green hair out of her face. "Hi," she replied. "So...do you sleep in flowers often or is it just my lucky day?" she asked with a smirk, looking over the woman.

Hmm? Well, that got her attention. Bianca got to her feet, chuckling lightly. "Not as often as I'd like," she admitted. Her eyes briefly flicked up and down the other woman, her interest piqued. She certainly didn't dress like someone Bianca would usually meet, but she couldn't deny she liked what she saw, all the same.

This could be a very lucky day indeed. Or it could just be a momentary distraction in the form of a short conversation. Bianca ran her hand through her own hair idly, dislodging a few petals, and her bright green eyes glittered a little as she asked, "You looking to get away from things for a while, too?"

[KARP KARP!]

Muse gave a slight chuckle, actually in a better mood now that she had an excuse not to go home. And this woman seemed interesting enough. Besides, anyone who spent time sleeping in flowers couldn't be boring, right? And hey, she was easy on the eyes. Though for Muse, that was merely an observation, no matter what she went for.

"Yeah. Good day at work, but don't wanna go home and ruin it. Though I didn't expect to see anyone else, not that I'm complaining." She gave a light shrug. This should be fun. Or a trainwreck. One of the two.

Bianca's brow quirked slightly. She was curious regarding how the other woman's home could ruin a good day, but didn't ask. She really preferred to mind her own business. "Well, I can vouch that this place lives up to its name," she joked with a small giggle, pulling a petal out of her hair and twirling it in her fingers; she still didn't realize how many she really had on her.

"My name's Bianca, by the way," she added, "And I'd be happy to delay your trip home." A flirty hint crept into her tone, but it was both very subtle and subconscious on her part. Bianca really wasn't making an active attempt to be alluring. Whether that was going to change or not, she didn't know yet.

[KARP KARP!]

"I was hoping it would, actually," Muse admitted, chuckling at the attempt to remove one petal. "Heh....you realize you're covered in those, right?" she asked, brushing her hair aside again.

"Muse. And that'd be great. Not really looking forward to dealing with seven younger siblings and an annoying mother, ya know?" she shrugged; the woman always hated the chaos and noise of her house. And Sync. That boy was some kind of little brat...

Upon receiving this bit of information, Bianca blinked as if to say 'I am?' and looked over her shoulder in a vain attempt to see the petals on her back. "Legends..." she half-mumbled, before looking back at Muse and adding with a small laugh, "Well, at least they match?"

As for the other bit of information...Seven? Seriously? Bianca managed to contain her stunned reaction very quickly, however, and covered it up with a sympathetic smile. "Say no more." No wonder Muse didn't want to got home. Sweet Arceus, she'd go batty in that kind of home situation...

Bianca's eyes casually drifted over the surroundings, until they landed on a faint path nearby. Well, there was an idea. "I'd say," she suggested, gesturing slightly in that direction, "That this calls for a particularly long, leisurely walk through the gardens, hm?" Bianca hadn't seen all that much before she found her little patch here, and she liked the idea of a little more sightseeing, especially with company.

[KARP KARP!]

Muse had to smile at Bianca's reaction. "Yeah, one day soon EVERYBODY's gunna be walking around wearing flower petals," she joked. When told to say no more, Muse obeyed, sorta. She didn't see it as a command; otherwise she'd have snapped. Instead, she just didn't want to talk about it.

"Now that sounds like a good idea. Never really explored around here til now." She looked at Bianca, then at the surroundings. Hmm...maybe she could just use some time to talk to someone that wasn't work or family related. It wasn't like she had many friends.

Bianca laughed at the joke, plucking another petal from her hair and letting it flutter to the ground. "And I'll be able to say I did it first," she joked along. Now that was a mental image, women walking around with flower petals in their hair as part of the newest trend. Or men. She almost to wanted to see that. No, no almost. That was hilarious.

When Muse approved of her suggestion, Bianca smiled, deciding to leave the petals alone for the moment. They'd fall off on their own eventually. Hopefully. "Feel free to lead the way, sweetie," she said. Bianca had been here before...Arceus, how long ago? Long enough that she'd be happy seeing any part of the gardens Muse wanted to go to, at any rate.

[KARP KARP!]

Muse gave a hearty chuckle. "And I'll be sure to back ya up on that one," she replied. The thought crossed her mind of that becoming an actual fashion statement one day, and she couldn't help but snort. Just the thought of everyone, men women and Pokemon alike, wearing flower petals in their hair. All except Tempo, who marched to the beat of her own drum; well...knowing Tempo it wasn't even a drum-beat she marched to. It was some instrument she probably made up.

Shaking the thoughts of her family out of her head, Muse gave a nod. "Gladly~ Though sweetie? It's obvious you haven't known me very long," she half-teased as she flashed a smile, beginning to walk slowly so Bianca could easily keep up.

Bianca easily matched Muse's pace, walking beside her and a step or so behind, a comfortable position for talking but still clear at a glance who was leading. Not that she was thinking consciously about that, simply settling into what felt most natural. For now, she was more focused on what Muse had said, quirking a brow slightly as she chuckled.

"Oh?" she said with a smirk, "Well, I tend to call them like I see them..." Sort of. By her own odd logic of who fit what pet name in her repertoire, at the least. And that logic had assigned Muse 'sweetie' for the moment. "But...I could call you something else if you want...?"

She shot Muse a look through her dark lashes as she spoke those last few words, her bright green eyes glittering slightly in her first real attempt to look alluring, but it was gone as quickly as it came as she glanced over at a patch of bright yellow flowers near the path next, waiting for whatever reaction she'd earned. This was Bianca's definition of subtly testing the waters.

Though, if she were to be completely and utterly honest with herself...she hadn't come here looking for that. 'Not in the mood' was a rare state--usually accompanied by illness or injury--that did not apply, and she was certainly open to possibilities, but right now she was mostly being driven by curiosity.

"Well, some may see things differently, heh. I've been known to have a mean streak, but you shouldn't have too much of a problem. Just stay on my good side." She winked, not that she had very much of a 'good side.' Bianca just caught Muse on a good day. Or something...

"Actually, I kinda like 'sweetie.' It's...new. I'm more prone to names like Psycho. Or bitch. Or psychobitch. Take your pick, heh." She smiled lightly. Not that those names really bothered her. They just gave her more of a name to live up to. "One thing I can't remember being called is for a second date," she said lightly, a lame attempt at a joke.

What the...Muse....you are definitely slipping. Are you THAT desperate for a friend?

Well, this was an interesting bit of information. Bianca rose a brow slightly at the words 'mean streak' and it stayed that way as Muse spoke, but the little smile she wore hopefully made it clear that this didn't bother her in the slightest. She'd dealt with tempers before. Her own Zangoose had worn the 'psychobitch' label herself, to say nothing of the fiery personalities she'd done business with, or even gone out with.

Which made that last little joke...Well, she wasn't sure entirely how to feel about it. She honestly hoped Muse was exaggerating a bit, because if someone with Bianca's lifestyle could often get second dates--and even a boyfriend briefly--she would have had to have some awful luck for that to be true. Still, she didn't want to act like she was taking it overly seriously...

"Their loss," Bianca said, flashing a smile. Her tone was light as well, but not one that made it sound like she was joking. Because she wasn't. "'Sweetie' it is," she added.

"Seeing things differently is pretty par for the course with me, really," she admitted a moment later with a small shrug, chuckling lightly. "Though they tend to just call it crazy..."

That was if they saw the more off-kilter side of her in the first place, which in the context of the her party girl lifestyle they generally didn't. Muse was lucky enough to catch her in a situation where it was visible.

Muse chuckled. "That's what I tell myself. Then again I don't even give most people the time of day. Heh...most people I just don't deem worth my time. And the others can't handle me~" she winked, then took in the scenery. This was actually kind of fun, and in her own way she was putting down almost everyone else she had contact with--almost.

"Yeah, I get ya. I kinda like that. Normal sucks." Muse was in very rare form; actually socializing? Well...she'd grown up hating 'normal' people, and Bianca, seeing as how she was sleeping in a bed of flowers, was far from normal. Besides, just because she didn't like to usually didn't mean Muse didn't need to loosen up a little.

That little wink earned a smirk in return. I certainly wouldn't mind trying my luck in 'handling' you, sweetie, she thought, eyes glittering, and she gave Muse the second glancing up and down of the day when she looked away to take in the scenery.

Ah, yes, scenery. Bianca really shouldn't let herself forget that there were plants to look at, too. She let her eyes sweep over a particularly nice bit of topiary in the shape of a girafarig, then couldn't help but look back at Muse at the sentiment of 'normal sucks.'

"Highly overrated," she semi-agreed, smiling. "I'd rather be myself, thanks." While she couldn't say she agreed with the exact wording--Bianca couldn't be said to have a problem with 'normal' people, if she could even recognize such--she'd spent all her childhood fighting her family's definition of what she 'should' be.

Not that there weren't aspects of herself she didn't sometimes wish were normal. For a moment, just a moment, Bianca looked to one side and her smile vanished, the look in her eyes almost haunted as her mind nearly touched on old, very painful memories. Sometimes she really did want to forget, to be normal in that way...

No, she wasn't going to think about that. That long-dead bastard wasn't going to ruin her walk through the gardens with Muse if she could help it. A helpful distraction came in the form of another bit of topiary, and Bianca slowed to a stop when she caught sight of it and let out a small, impressed whistle. "Nice Hydreigon."

It was on the opposite side of a large patch of red flowers that their path was on, and on first glance it seemed to blend in with the Grovyle and Sandslash to either side, but once she'd recognized the shape of its three heads, it was unmistakable. Said heads were held high and its wings spread, and Bianca didn't want to think about how much work had gone into making the topiary titan.

[KARP KARP!]

Muse smiled, nodding her head and checking out the scenery and the amount of work that went into each topiary. A glance or two may have gone to Bianca's figure, but she'd never admit it. She joined the other woman by the Hydreigon, looking up at it.

"Now...that took some work. But I love how they captured the beast while still making it...majestic." Then, a smile crossed her face. "In fact..."

Muse pulled a Pokeball off of her belt, opening it. The Hydreigon that popped out looked intently at the statue and gave a smile and a nod of approval. "This...is Chaos. Don't worry he's usually a big teddy bear."

Bianca went completely silent when Chaos appeared, and her expression was a bit wide-eyed, but that wasn't because she was worried. Quite the opposite.

Muse. Had. A dragon. A big, fully grown, beautiful...

Barely a half-second after Muse's introducing him and assuring her he was friendly, a high-pitched, excited squeal erupted from Bianca, and she put both hands to her mouth as she tried--and failed--to stifle it. She bounced on the balls of her feet, it taking all of her self-control to not just immediately race over, throw her arms around the nearest head and not let go.

"He's gorgeous!" she burst out when she could trust herself to speak coherently. Clearing her throat a little, and still fighting the overwhelming urge to cuddle the massive hydra, she added, "I mean, nice to meet you, Chaos..."

[KARP KARP!]

Muse giggled. Okay that wasn't the reaction she expected, but she loved it. And Chaos liked the attention.

"Yeah. He's amazing. When I was little, my parents gave me a Shiny Caterpie. So I traded it for a Deino. And that grew to this handsome devil~" She smiled, and Chaos edged a little closer as if to say, 'Nice to meet you, too.'

"He's the only dragon for me, though my other Pokemon include two Ralts, a Chikorita, a Treeko, and a Shiny Weavile."
