Yes she knew that.. But..... Those flash backs where so real and so terrifying.. She guessed they where from the fire her brother said he had saved her from... But other then that she knows nothing about it, and nothing about her birth family besides a few dreams she had of people she did not know.. Most of all a girl with long silver hair.. Justice then shook her head and looked at the Kirlia and gave a weak smile. When the pokemon took her by the hand she stopped crying and stood up. Hm Poe? She looked over the same way the Kirlia looked and walked over there. Poe's eyes grew wide and he ran to the Ledian's side. < Hey!! Can you hear me!! Oh please don't be dead!"> Poe said in a worried tone. Justice heard Poe's worried cries and then ran to his side. She gasped when she saw the hurt Ledian. Justice knelt down next to the hurt pokemon and she looked it over. What?? Who could have done this to the poor thing?? " Ledian?? Can you hear me?? I'm going to pick you up. Please do not worry I will not hurt you." Justice said as she carefully picked up the badly hurt pokemon. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Kirlia gasped at the sight of the Ledian, putting a hand over her mouth. The Ledian squirmed a bit, trying to get away, but he shuddered, hurt too badly. Bruises and burn marks covered the bug's body, as if he'd been attacked by a fire type, and....beaten? "Di..." he whispered faintly.

It seems...he was abused...then abandoned... the Kirlia said to Justice, looking at her, concerned.

Suddenly, the Ledian started to struggle again, more fiercely this time. <Put me down! Please don't hurt me again....just let me go...I'm a failure...> A tear rolled down his cheek as he struggled, then stopped, gasping for breath. He blinked. Wait....this wasn't his trainer....though the human in question probably left a long time ago.

This was much worse then the Shiny Furret she had just caught. Something or something clearly wanted this pokemon to suffer. when Kirlia spoke and explained what happend Justice's jaw dropped. What... Why? Why would a person treat a pokemon like this?? Justice just had to help.. But she had nothing to heal it with... Wait! Zarah!! She can use heal bell, that would at least take care of the burns. But before she could reach for Zarah's pokeball, the Ledian started to struggle but harder this time. "Ledian, pleas be calm. I'm here to help you." Justice said softly never raising her voice when the pokemon calmed down once more Justice smiled softly and reached for Zarah's pokeball. With a flash the Skitty was out. " Skitty~" She said happily but soon blinked when she saw Justice holding a badly beaten pokemon. Zarah gasped and came closer. She looked at Ledian then over at Poe. < What happened Poe??"> she asked. < " We found Ledian like this.... Kirla just said Ledian was abused and beaten by its former trainer..."> Poe said with sadness but also a hint of anger. Again Zarah gasped and looked at the Ledian and started to tear up. " Zarah, please use heal bell on Ledian. Its the only thing we can do for it right now.." Justice said softly. Zarah nodded and started to glow. A faint bell appeared over Zarah and played a soft ring. Light then went over the Ledian in gentle waves and the burns started to fade away. " Do... Do you feel better Ledian? I'm sorry but thats the best I can do for you right now..." Justice said softly. [/scrolly]

The burns may have faded, but there were still bruises all over the poor Pokemon's body. He shuddered, unable to struggle any farther. "Di....an...." another tear rolled down his face.

He's...afraid, The Kirlia whispered.

Suddenly a sharp voice cut through what would have been silence. "What do you care for? He's worthless. Weak. Pathetic.

The owner of the voice came into view; tall and skinny, dressed in a black leather jacket, torn faded blue jeans with chains hanging from both. He had a tall, purple mohawk and piercings in his ears and above his left eyebrow.

At the sound and sight of the man, the Ledian clung tightly to Justice, trying to melt into her.

The best thing she could so is catch the bug pokemon, In the pokeball it would be safe. But would the pokemon want to go inside after all he had been through?? Would Ledian ever trust a human ever again?? When Kirla spoke saying Ledian was scared she nodded and looked at the poor flying type. She was about to ask if it would be willing to come with her when she heard another voice. Justice looked up at the new comer, her eyes grew wide as he spoke. This was the trainer that did this to Ledian!! When the pokemon clung to her she gently hugged the bug pokemon and glared at his former trainer. " " I care for its the right thing to do! How dare you treat a pokemon this way!! Ledian is in so much pain!" Justice said and stood up holding Ledian in her arms. Justice was scared and nervous, she was alone besides her pokemon. And this guy looked strong would she be able to stand up to him?? Poe and Zarah stood in front of Justice ready to defend her if this guy tried something. [/scrolly]

The Kirlia put a hand on Justice's arm, to encourage her, while the Ledian shivered, clinging to Justice even more.

"He's too weak. Doesn't even like to battle. Useless." The man's eyes narrowed. "You trashin' how I raise Pokemon? Let's see what ya got, then...." He pulled a Pokeball from his belt, rolling it between his fingers as an evil smirk crossed his lips.

She was really in trouble now. But she was not going to back down now. But first she had to make sure Ledian was safe. She took out a empty pokeball and held it the scared pokemon. " I won't let him hurt you any more Ledian, Please trust me and get into the pokeball. Kirla please tell him I just want to keep him safe." Justice said softly never taking her eyes off the man. She would rather talk things out but as she studied the cruel man talking would do no good, She would gave to battle him. " I don't like to battle much ether... But I will in order to protect Ledian!" Justice said. Fear was evident in her eyes and voice, but Justice was not going to back down. All the time she trained at school was going to come in handy now. Zarah moved back and stood next to Justice. Poe stayed where he was ready for a battle. [/scrolly]

The thug-like man gave a laugh, shaking his head. "That so? Well sad to say you don't stand much chance," he replied with a smirk. Then, he tossed the Pokeball, and in a flash of light, a very mean-looking Nuzleaf appeared, wearing an expression much like that of his trainer.

"Dark Pulse!"

The Nuzleaf gave a nod, not hesitating for a moment before attacking the Pikachu with the move.

When the Dark Pulse was used Poe tried to dodge only to be hit on the side. Poe did not cry out though as he got back up and glared. Justice watched as she formed plans in her head. Most of Poe moves would not be very effective.. Say fpr a few, she would juts have to focuses on those moves for now. " Poe!! Use Brick Break!!" Justice called out. Poe ran forward as fast as he could and tried to use Brick Break on the Nuzleaf. [/scrolly]

The Ledian clung to Justice; he knew the Pokeball was safe. He knew that all too well. But he was afraid. Too afraid to do anything except cling to the girl. The Nuzleaf took the super-effective hit head on, and staggered, though he shook himself off, looking even madder than before.

"Razor Leaf!"

The grass/dark type nodded before releasing a flurry of leaves at the Pikachu.

He was not going to show weakness and never was he going to give up! He had to defend his trainer!! " Poe! Use Flash then Iron tail!" Justice called out, Poe glowed and let out a blinding flash and tried to hit the Nuzleaf with iron tail. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Flash blinded the Nuzleaf, and then he fell backwards under the force of the Iron Tail. Struggling to his feet, the Grass Type shook himself off.

"Get up! Use Shadow Ball!" The Nuzleaf obeyed, wildly launching a shadow ball at the Pikachu, though it really didn't help that his vision was now obscured, thanks to the Flash.

He then charged forward again at the dark grass type. " Use Brick Break!" Justice called out again. Poe then formed Brick Break and tried to hit the Nuzleaf as hard as he could. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Brick Break hit the Nuzleaf head on, and the Grass/Dark type found itself on the wrong end of a critical hit as he dropped to his knees, then finally to his face, defeated. The thug muttered a few choice words under his breath as he recalled the Pokemon, then pulled out another Pokeball.

It opened in a flash of light, and before him stood a rather ticked-off Houndoom. "Fire Blast!"

The Pokemon obeyed without a question, releasing the powerful burst of flames. The Ledian flinched in Justice's arms, clinging tightly to her and shivering. "Led...di...."

The Kirlia merely watched. That's the Pokemon that hurt him, she said softly to Justice.

Though his eyes grew wide at the next pokemon that was called out.... A Houndoom a fire type. When Justice saw this she froze in her and even screamed when the fire pokemon let out a fire attack. Poe did his best to dodge but got hit with the flame thrower. " Pika!!!!" Poe cried out in pain, but he got right back up with a glare. Justice saw this and knew she could not let Poe fight this one. He was weak from his last battle. " Poe return!" Poe started to protest but was sucked back into his pokeball. Justice looked at the fire type with fear as her body started to tremble. She wanted to run get away... But no she would stay and fight, stand up for Ledian!! Justice then took out another pokeball. " I need you Primus!" Justice called, with a flash of light a dignified Albino Vaporeon appeared in the room. Primus blinked and looked at the thug and fire type before him. He then frowned and looked back at Justice and his eyes winded a little. He had never seen Justice look so scared before. Yes her other pokemon told him about her fear if fire but this was the first time he saw his sweet trainer like this... Well this was not going to do at all... Primus then stood up and looked at the fire pokemon, he would battle but then ask for a treat later. Justice was relived her water pokemon was going to battle, she was a little unsure if he would. " Primus! Use rain dance then use Hydro Pump!!!" Justice called out and tried not to sound scared. Primus nodded and summoned rain with a rain dance, now that his water moves where more powerful he then shot off a Hydro Pump at the Houndoom. [/scrolly]

The thug shook his head as the girl called out the Vaporeon. "Dodge, then Thunder Fang!" The Houndoom lost his footing, and as a result took the Hydro Pump head on, and he didn't get up from it. Sighing, the man recalled the Fire Type and pulled out one last Pokeball.

What emerged was a Murkrow, with an intensity in his eyes. "Drill Peck!" Without a single moment of hesitation, the Murkrow rushed in with the Drill Peck.

She then stopped trembling and stood firm. Ready to fight more, Justice hugged Ledian and glared over at the thug. " I will not lose to someone like you! Primus dodge and use ice beam!" Justice called, Primus dodged but did not attack back. Now that the fire type was gone his job was done. "Vap" was the sharp reply as he kept dodging the flying types attacks. Justice sweat dropped and hung her head. Ugh..... Primus was done battling.... "Primus.... Return..." Justice said and called the water type back to his pokeball. Justice then looked up again with determination, she would not give up due to one set back. " Xue! Come on out!!" Justice called and held up another pokeball. In a flash of light appeared a shiny Glaceon. She looked thug and glared, she did not know what was going on but some who dressed as badly as that must be bad. " Xue use icy wind!" Justice called out. Without hesitating the ice type called on icy winds and attacked the Murkrow. [/scrolly]

The Murkrow was beginning to get annoyed as the Vaporeon kept dodging his attacks, and the thug muttered a few choice words as well.

However, the Glaceon's attacks hurt the Dark bird, which only made both human and Pokemon even madder.

"Use Wing Attack! Let's go! Don't let me down!"

"Murkrow!" The Pokemon cried before attacking, albeit more slowly than before.

That meant he was going to most likely make more mistakes. the Shiny Glaceon also started to dodge the Murkrow's attacks but seeing she was not as good as Primus at that the bird was able to land a few hits, causing Xue to cry out in pain but she did not back down. " Xue, use blizzard!!"Justice said. Xue smiled darkly at the Murkrow as she summoned a blizzard and tried to hit him with it. [/scrolly]
