"I grew up in Agate Village with my dad and Isolde, my pokemon. We didn't really go out much, but I never did have many complaints. We were happy during that time." Though she kept her smile, Van's tone went down a little as she continued. "However, then we had to move one day. Dad never fully explained why, but not long after, I found us here in Era." He never did fully explain his intentions, but she had a few ideas as to the reason why he did so. Van just never did voice them, and to be honest, she wasn't planning on doing so any time soon. When her tone picked up, so did her smile. "But I have to admit, life here is like an adventure. There's always something to do in Era, so I'm rarely bored." Her typical high note. Hopefully it'll work with Teme the same way it worked with a few others. [/scrolly]

From what she remembered of the Orre, Agate was one of the more peaceful places as opposed to... everywhere else. It was also one of the closest places to Era on the Orre map... or was she getting it backwards? No she was sure that was right; she just hadn't been down there in a long time. The moving explanation caused a look of interest for a moment though Teme couldn't quite figure how to ask any further considering Van herself said she didn't know exactly why. Maybe it was just for economical reasons, yet that was silly since Era was arguably more unstable than the Orre at the moment.. which honestly made it more fun and more of a challenge, heh. A slow smile graced Temera's lips as Vanessa explained that she was never bored in Era and seemed to have at least some positivity about this place. "Yeah I like it here too; always stuff to do and whatnot," she grinned even more. It seemed that Van had managed to find something good to talk about, indeed. "Lots of places to travel and stuff; I've been all over Era and still ain't seen it all," she explained surprisingly proudly. [/scrolly]
