He'd never asked before, never really thought about asking considering the lifestyle he had led up to that point. However, he was mature enough to realize the finality of it. Sure there was divorce if necessary, but he didn't want that. He wanted her to stay by his side for all his life. When she finally spoke, it was enough to bring a blush and a large smile to Jack's face. She'd said yes. She had said yes! SHE SAID YES! The hug that followed after that was enough to bring a soft "Wow..." out of the purple haired man, though why he had no idea. In another moment, he was wrapping his arms around her as best he could despite the machines and various other road blocks that were trying to separate them at that moment. A brief hug was all that was given before he leaned back just a moment to stare at her face and then lean forwards again to kiss her lips. She said yes. She'd said yes. She had said yes. It was more than he could find words for-- the happiness and excitement that had flooded into his veins like a waterfall. He wanted to get up right and there and go jumping around, yet he knew his body would probably just fall over and not be able to do anything if he did that. However, she'd answered his question. She'd said yes. There was nothing to add, nothing to say. He was too happy for words, and thus they failed him. She'd said yes. When he finally managed to get a hold of himself even just a little, Jack finally broke the kiss realizing just how short his breath had become in those few seconds. "I love you," he stated beaming at her with nothing short of raw happiness. "So much...." He wanted to say more. He wanted to tell her how she would never have a desire that wasn't fulfilled that she would be by his side always...that she meant more to him than all the world's money. However, he was sure she already knew that. She had to know... She had to know just how much it meant to him and how much he couldn't speak aloud in that very moment. She had to know what was sitting precariously on his lips in that moment. He was sure of it. [/scrolly] | [atrb=style,width:154;border:0 black none;] |
