I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplannedSly growled at Ashton, still bristled out. <I don't give two shits whether you 'got this' or not, woman. This creep hurt my Sanja, so I'm gonna hurt them!!> he hissed at her, not in the mood to take shit from some hot tempered chick. When Sanja heard what the Claydol said this time, she still cringed and shivered, but spoke up for herself. "We weren't quarreling! We were goofing off! Besides, this place in in ruins, library or not. I bet people come here to play and explore all the time! Do you fuss at them too? It's a wonder none of them caught you just to make you leave them alone!" Sly slowly glanced back at Sanja, gritting his teeth. That girl always just ~has~ to shoot her mouth off, doesn't she? Ashton turned, now ignoring the Claydol completely. Her gaze fixed on the Furret. <WHAT did you just say? I don't care how fucking big you are, I will shove my foot up your-->
Mikey, one arm still around Sanja, used his other hand to return the Bayleef. "Ashton...has a bit of a temper problem..." he said, practically ignoring the Claydol by now.

The Clyadol rubbed her temple not amused in the least. "And what if you hit a bookshelf and it toppled into the next and knocked down a series of them? This area is very old and such 'mess ups' could easily destroy all the text in here that had been protected for centuries," she answered back in a more logical tone rather than an angry one now. She was still far from amused, but she would explain even to a bunch of kids, hmph.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplannedSanja and Sly looked to Mikey, the both of them saying "I noticed..."<Couldn't tell...> at the same time, though Sly spoke in Furret tongue. Sly then looked back to the Claydol, still bristled and growling. <So why didn't you say that before? Sure, make people learn from their mistakes, but it doesn't mean you gotta attack them! If you're so worried about your damn precious books, then place up protective fields around them; I'm sure a ~psychic~ type such as yourself can do that!> Sly...Was a bit short with the Claydol, to say the least.
Sanja still clung tightly to Mikey, fidgeting. She'd heard that protectors of the library would make thieves pay for their crime...Did this Claydol know what she'd done? Sanja had already bagged and pocketed a few things, just trinkets and books she liked and wanted to examine further at home. She gave a sharp look to Sly. "Sly, get my bag, and Mikey's while you're there. If this Claydol wants us out so bad, then fine...We'll leave..." Sly knew from that tone that Sanja had stolen something and didn't feel like getting caught, so sent one final glare to the Claydol and darted off to go collect the humans' things. Sanja stared at the Claydol, trying to figure out if the doll-like Pokemon knew or not. If need be, she'd send out Stitch and Drogo to take care of the 'library protector'... Mikey blinked, looking from the Claydol to his girlfriend. When Sly walked off, Mikey called out Leo.
The Wartortle blinked, looking at the Claydol. He figured he was just supposed to make sure the Psychic didn't try anything, or something. And so, he just stood there, waiting for the Claydol to make a move.
Mikey just let his hand fall from Sanja's shoulder, down her arm, then rested his hand on her bare back, again without thinking in an attempt to calm her.

The Claydol simply frowned at Sly's words. <And do you even know the amount of energy that would take all day long? I am not Arceus, Lord in Heaven> she snapped back mentally praying that the great one would understand she hadn't used his name in vane. Well of course he would understand. What had she been thinking? Pft. However, it was when the girl stated for the Furret to get her bags that the Claydol seemed to turn her form to one side. Ah they were leaving then. However, something about the way the girl was looking at her still made the Claydol feel on edge, and though she didn't know why, said Claydol stayed on guard anyways.
Meanwhile, a Vulpix seemed to come out from one of the aisles and cocked his head to one side rather sleepily. Hm? Ah, one of the librarians was getting into a skirmish with outsiders? Yawning sleepily, the Vulpix shrugged his 'shoulders' slowly. Eh, it wasn't his problem. Turning around again, he made to leave the way he had come. Farther off, another pair of eyes seemed to catch this battle of words. However, said eyes were under a 'helmet' of sorts. A Ralts was sitting atop a bookshelf and watching the entire thing with something akin to vague plasticity.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplannedSly muttered and grumbled to himself, ignoring the Claydol. He was in a helluva grumpy mood now. Fussed at by some bitchy Bayleaf. Fussed at by some bitchy Claydol. Ordered around by Sanja...He poked his head into her bag, just to see what she'd looted. Hmm...A book, some trinkets, ohh~ is that a dagger? He twitched his ears and packed up her things fully, doing the same with what was left there of Mikey's things. The Furret was slower on his return trip, tossing a disparaging look to the wild Vulpix he'd noticed. <Do ~all~ of the wild Pokemon here have their noses in the air?> He wasn't talking to anyone in particular, finally making it back to Sanja and Mikey, tossing their bags at their feet.
Sanja snatched up her bag and slung it over her shoulder, pulling away from Mikey some. She reached for his hand, wanting to hold it if there were to be escorted...Or as something to drag him by should they need to bolt. Her other hand was occupied with petting Sly, which he mildly enjoyed. Bah, he was a Pokemon, right? He was allowed to enjoy petting, right? Sanja looked from Mikey to the Claydol, unable to truly notice the other Pokemon watching them. "May we leave now, since you want us gone so badly?" She almost sounded like she was pouting. This place was a trove of loot and adventure, and she was being rushed off by some Claydol with a mother goose complex! >~<; I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Mikey looked at the Claydol, and the Wartortle, though tired from his match with Stitch, was ready to go. Mikey didn't say anything; he didn't want to leave yet. So he took Sanja's hand gently, though he didn't move--not that she could really drag him, considering the size difference.
Mikey and Leo were both too focused to even notice the other Pokemon.
<Who do you think you are, bossing us around like that?>

The Claydol was still unamused, and the words of the human's pokemon simply made her cross her arms in distaste. Hmph, such insolence. Meanwhile, the Vulpix had gone before hearing Sly's comment, and it may have been for the best depending. The Ralts continued to watch and slowly frowned. 'Nana, what about what Momma said?' the Ralts's psychic thoughts progressed to fill the room. The Claydol finally turned and assessed the Ralts in question. 'And do I look like your mother?' she snapped a little too quickly back causing the timid psychic to flinch just a little.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplannedSanja returned Sly, squeezing Mikey's hand. She leaned close to him, never taking her eyes off the Claydol, who seemed to be distracted by someone or something else. "When I give the signal, run like the devil's chasing you!" she whispered to Mikey, tearing her eyes away from the Claydol long enough to give him a meaningful look. Something was a little different about her, like being so close to a Psychic type that could use telepathy scared her. She wanted to get away from it...Now. And she had a plan to do so. Sanja buried her free hand into her pocket, and kept it there. I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Leo's ears picked up Sanja's whispering, and he prepared to stand guard. The Wartortle was going to cover the two of them so they could escape. Battle-worn or not, he kind of had an itchy trigger finger.
Mikey gently stroked Sanja's hand with his thumb, nodding slowly. The man knew Leo would want to run interference for them, but the Wartortle could catch up. Mikey tensed a little, ready for her to say the word. Likewise, Mikey didn't want to stay around the Claydol much longer, either.

After what seemed like a small conversation had passed, the Claydol turned back and uncrossed and recrossed her arms turning her head to one side. 'Are you leaving or no?' was the question that was posed. Meanwhile, the Ralts face/palmed for lack of a better word.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplannedSanja snapped a glare at the Claydol. "Yeah, we're leaving...Leaving you in the dust!! Now!!" Sanja flung her pocketed hand out and three smoke tabs went flying in front of Leo, bursting into thick clouds of smoke. Sanja bolted like a rabbit in spring, still holding onto Mikey's hand tightly. She was a great sprinter, running at nigh top speed after a few steps and wildly turning corners to as to go further into the maze of the ruins. Like hell she was gonna leave that easy!! Mikey followed her lead, running with Sanja as they darted down the halls through the maze that was the ruins. Leo let out a sigh, running as well, though not exactly very fast. Dear Arceus, I wasn't built for this...
Mikey wasn't exactly athletic, but his legs were longer than Sanja's, so he was able to keep up with her in strides as she pulled him through the ruins. The problem was he had no clue where they were going, or how to get back out once they did get wherever they were heading.

The smoke had caused the Claydol to bring an arm up, yet when she removed it and when the clouds had disappeared, the two humans were gone. Frowning and shaking her form, the Claydol made a quiet 'hmph' sound and began to look around for where they could have possibly gone. Meanwhile, the Ralts who had watched everything just sighed and shook his head a bit. Upon the shelves that Sanja and Mikey passed, a Litwick watched them run before sweat dropping and leaning back into his cozy place. Meanwhile, an Abraa was in the aisle that they were running down, and if neither one were careful, they were about to run him over.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplannedSanja muscled down a yelp as she was forced to skid to a halt so not to run over the Abra in the aisle. There was a minor jolt of fear in her for a moment before she shook her head, coughing a bit. Abra, not Alakazam...Jeez, stop being a spazz, Sanja. Unfortunately, one of her Pokeballs opened in a bright flash, and an albino Yamask floated there. Drogo, as he was trained to do, ready to grab hold of Sanja and make her phase through security guards or disable whatever human was following her. So when he found a sad lacking of anything really threatening, he simply floated up the shelves a bit. He spotted the Litwick there and gave a shy wave. <Hi...> Sanja eyed where Drogo had gone, but she knew he could take care of himself pretty well. "Maybe we got far enough away from that Claydol...I hope we did; I don't want to get lost in these ruins!" She looked around, a bit worried, but she also kept a careful eye on the Abra, almost watching it.
