Jaws cried out in pain as the electric attack landed in the middle of his chest. He was breathing heavily after that and leaned against the cave wall for support. The little pokemon looked back toward his trainer, and an expression of defiance came to his face. He wouldn't give up, not when Seth was watching. Without waiting for a command, the totodile used a rock slide attack on Magby.

The rocks came downwards from the ceiling and hit the Magby hard and seemed to trap him under the rocks. Crying out, the Magby fainted, and the battle seemed o end finally. The Slugma who was still watching simply sweat dropped and didn't seem to say anything.

Seth smirked nodded approvingly to his totodile, "Nice work." He said coolly before returning Jaws to his pokeball. Finding another pokeball, this time uninhabited, he threw it toward the Magby. "That thing was annoying.." He commented while scratching his small beard.

The pokeball enclosed the Magby and rang in capture after a few short seconds.
Name: Species: Magby Gender: Male Ability: Flame Body Personality: Hardheaded and determined, this Magby rarely backs down if at all. He does his best in all situations and actually tries to impress his trainer with his skill. He can be a bit shallow at times, but he tries to keep this to a minimum.

With a yawn Seth picked up the pokeball which now held his new magby. "Hehe, come on back, Jaws." He let the totodile return to its pokeball after that somewhat irritating battle. Putting away both pokeballs, the trainer resumed his journey through the bowels of the volcano. Seth took off his vest, realizing that the further he went, the hotter it became. Oh well, what's a little heat?

Suddenly the sound of running hooves could be heard. A Rapidash was seen soon enough running straight towards Seth. The fire horse seemed to stop suddenly when he caught sight of the green haired man and stopped his foot a bit trying to get said man to move out of his way.

Seth's first instinct was to move out of the way and let the wild horse pokemon pass, but then he was reminded of the fact that his pockets had become a bit light in the recent months. Who wouldn't pay money for a Rapidash? Yes, a wiser decision would be to capture the Rapidash then sell it.
He grinned and spread his arms wide to block the passageway, "Sorry, buddy." He said before throwing a pokeball down at the fire horse's hooves. The sphere popped open and a shiny Nidoking appeared before the wild pokemon. Nero growled low in his armored chest as he look at his opponent. He turned his great head to the side, waiting for Seth to give an order. "Use Earth Power!"

The Rapidash was hit by the sudden Earth Power attack, and for a good solid second, he didn't know what hit him, yet after this, his eyes settled on the Nidoking, and the horse stomped his foot irritated before forming a Flame Wheel and charging towards the Nidoking.

The trainer saw the Rapidash advance and charge at his pokemon. Hopefully he could put out the flames before they reached Nero, thereby eliminating some possible damage. The idea was set in his mind and he called out to his shiny Nidoking, "Nero, surf now!" Seth nodded as Nero summoned the great wave and waited for the Rapidash to come closer...

The water lurched up and collided with the Rapidash. However, even with the water, the fire horse continued to charge forwards with the speed and power of his fast legs and ended up making more of an estranged tackle attack rather than a Flame Wheel in the end of it. The water sting would hit him in about thirty seconds or less, but for now, he'd ignore it.

The fire horse collided with Nero, and despite struggling to keep his footing, the Nidoking managed to take the hit. He let his armor take most of the damage and held his ground. The shiny pokemon grunted a bit but pushed back on the Rapidash. He went to grab his enemy by the legs.
Seth watched the battle ensue wordlessly. When it seemed that Nero had run out of ideas, he thought it best to step in, "Good work, now supersonic!" He hoped that Nero's poison point had also taken its effect, and if so then that would effect his next plan of attack.

The Rapidash's front leg was caught by the Nidoking, and the Supersonic hit him in another second. The fire horse seemed to shake his head now in confusion and pulled his leg away sharply only to collide with a rather large rock and cry out in pain.

The trainer was pleased by how the battle was progressing. His characteristic smug grin was hidden by his bandanna, but the brown eyes above it revealed his arrogance. Seth had the rapidash right where he wanted it, "Now, Nero, sludge wave!" Not seconds after his command reached the nidoking's ears did the pokemon released the wall of poison. The shiny pokemon roared as he sent the attack toward the horse.

Hit by the Sludge Wave, the Rapidash cringed at the poison attack and seemed to shake his head irritated by the notion bot not beaten just yet. Instead, the fire horse seemed to stop his foot with a growing resilience. Suddenly using a Bounce, the Rapidash sprung up into the air and wavered there for a few seconds before coming back down.

Seth knew there was nothing he could do while the rapidash was in the air, however he could prepare his pokemon for the impact. The fire horse was coming down fast, "Nero, wait until it's near you then megahorn!" The blue nidoking threw his mighty dagger up, awaiting the Rapidash's descent. His muscular tail swung back and forth impatiently but his eyes remained on the enemy.

The Rapidash came fast with the Bounce, yet as he finished the attack, he was hit rather sharply by the Megahorn. Despite the fact that the type match up was clearly in favor of the Rapidash at that moment, he took quite a bit of damage from the Megahorn and found himself flinching in pain. Shaking his head, he was coming to the realization that he probably couldn't keep this up much longer. Breathing inwards, the fire horse formed a Flamewheel and charged forwards again.

The shiny nidoking groaned as the weight of the bounce came down on top of him. Still, he held his ground and pushed the rapidash up with his horn, causing damage. Nero growled when he saw the wild pokemon rush back, this time completely covered in flames. He didn't especially want to come in contact with the fire or that sharp horn, but Nero was ready if Seth couldn't devise a plan.
The trainer did have a plan of course. How could he call himself a pokemon trainer if he didn't? Part of the job description is the ability to think on one's toes. "It's just part of the fun." Seth muttered with a smirk before issuing an order to his nidoking, "Surf. Meet it head on."

The water came crashing at the Rapidash, and he cried out falling backwards then and there. Struggling to get up, the fire pony only succeeded in falling forwards and cringing. After a few seconds, his entire form faltered, and the Rapidash fainted.

The trainer rummaged through his yellow backpack, digging past clothes and other assorted possessions until he felt the familiar shape of a pokeball. It was small, only about the size of his thumb. He pressed the button that caused the sphere to more than double in size, then Seth threw it at the unconscious rapidash. He also pressed a button on the nidoking's pokeball, letting the poison type take a rest inside.

The Rapidash was consumed by the red light and disappeared inside. After a few seconds, the ball hit the ground and rang in capture.
Name: Species: Rapidash Gender: Male Ability: Flash Fire Personality: A righteous pokemon under all circumstances, this Rapidash makes a point to fight for a reason rather than simply fight whether this reason means defending himself or defending another. As long as he can find a reason for said fight, he will put everything he has into a battle. In reverse, if he can't find a reason for the battle, he'll refuse to fight. He doesn't seem to show any weakness at any time for one reason or another.
Very far off down the tunnel, a Heatmor was digging into the rock for some reason.
