Just as Devin put the two Pokeballs away in his backpack did he notice a very odd colored Delibird attempting to run towards him after dropping something on the ground and picking it back up. Seconds later, he noticed a Froslass coming from the same direction, for some reason trying to attack the Delibird using Ice Shard. Devin wasn't sure what was going on for a few seconds, but developed a deep sense of urgency when the Delibird attempted to hide behind him, effectively putting him in the line of fire of Froslass' attacks.
Left with no choice but to defend himself, Devin took a Pokeball out of his backpack and quickly tossed it. In a flash of light, a Crocanaw appeared. As the Froslass fired another Ice Shard attack towards Devin he said to Crocanaw, "Protect!" Croconaw crossed its arms and a protective sphere of energy formed around the water-type as the Ice Shard attack brushed off the surface of the Protect sphere. Wanting to counterattack quickly, Devin said to Croconaw, "Good job! Now use Crunch!" Crocanaw rushed quickly towards the Froslass as he opened his big jaw and prepared to chomp down on the Ice-type.

The ghosts eyes narrowed angrily when her attack was blocked by the sudden appearance of the Corconaw. In her fit of anger she activated her Cursed Body just as the Corconaw Chomped down on her. She let out a sharp cry before breaking lose and moving back a little. Due to her Cursed Body the Corconaw’s Chomp attack probably wouldn’t work on her anymore.
Now angered even more the Froslass’s eyes began to glow causing dark clouds to suddenly fill the sky. Small thud’s could suddenly be heard as Hail began to fall to the ground, sharply hitting everything in sight. Yet it seemed the Froslass was unaffected by the Hail.

Devin watched as the Froslass' Cursed Body ability began to affect Croconaw, which effectively disabled Croconaw's Crunch attack for a little while. Even worse was the fact that only seconds later, hail began to fall from the sky. The ice balls began to pelt Croconaw which winced in pain from being struck, and Devin himself narrowly avoided getting hit by a few pelts of hail. Devin was undeterred by this sudden turn of events. He would simply have to use another attack, particularly one that didn't require physical contact with the Froslass. Devin called out to Croconaw, "Croconaw, use Hydro Pump!" Shaking off the damage from the Hail attack, Croconaw quickly shot a powerful jet of water out of its mouth which sailed towards the Froslass.

Upon seeing the Water Pump attack racing towards her, the Froslass quickly crossed her arms in an attempt to use a Protective shield however it failed. The next thing she knew she was hit buy the rushing water which caused her to fall onto the snow. Quickly getting up she glared at the water pokemon before lifting her arms and forming a powerful Blizzard attack. The sharp winds and harsh snow of the attack raced towards the Croconaw.

The Blizzard attack was a direct hit of Croconaw as another pelting of hail distracted Croconaw long enough to keep him from dodging the attack. However, due to Croconaw being a water-type, the damage from the Blizzard attack was negligible, and Croconaw still appeared ready to fight. Devin said to the water-type, "Give it another Hydro Pump!" Once again Croconaw shot a jet of water out of its mouth at the Froslass.

Once again the ghost type was hit by the Hydro pump attack causing her to fall back tot eh ground. This time, however, it took her a bit more effort to stand up again. Once again she turned and gave the Croconaw an angry glare. Her eyes began to glow a bright white and for a short moment a white light, shaped like a ring appeared around the Croconaw. It then quickly shrank, vanishing when it reached the Croconaw's skin. Nothing else happened after that. Her eyes stopped glowing and the rest would be left to the Destiny Bond.

Devin frowned as he noticed the Destiny Bond begin to affect Croconaw. He knew that this meant that if Croconaw were to knock Froslass out, then Croconaw would be taken down as well. Devin didn't have it in him to order a Pokemon to basically make themselves faint just for the sake of victory. It was something that he just could not bring himself to do. Because of this, Devin would not be able to allow Croconaw to continue the battle. Devin took out a Pokeball, and Croconaw was whisked back inside in a flash of red light.
However, Devin quickly took out another Pokeball and tossed it. The ball opened up, and Aron appeared seconds later. With a new Pokemon out the Destiny Bond on Croconaw would be ineffective. However, Devin would have to end this quickly in order to keep Froslass from using Destiny Bond again. Devin said to Aron, "Aron, use Iron Head!" Aron rushed towards the Froslass quickly as its forehead began to glow a bright silver.

The Froslass let out a wicked laugh when Devin was forced to return his pokemon. She was certain that had been his punishment for protecting the annoying black coloured bird. However, much to her dismiss, the trainer let out another pokemon. The sight of the Aron made her growl angrily and she readied herself to use another Destiny Bond. Her eyes had just began to so glow when the Aron slammed into her with an Iron Head attack causing her to lose her concentrating as she went flying back and landed heavily onto the snow. She wasn’t fainted but she didn’t get up again. She just laid there, mumbling to herself in anger before finally closing her eyes.

Although he was satisfied that the Froslass was no longer a threat, Devin regretted that it had come to this. He had no desire to actually hurt the Froslass, but had to act in defense of himself. It was the only way he could think of in the short time frame that he had. Devin sighed as he took out a Pokeball and an Ultra Ball. He held up the Pokeball and said to Aron, "Nice, job Aron, you did great!" In a flash of red light Aron was sucked back inside the Pokeball. Devin then let out a long sigh before he finally tossed the Ultra Ball at the Froslass.

The Great Ball wiggled for a few moments before finally clicking with the capture of the Froslass.
Name: Species: Froslass Gender: Female Ability: Cursed Body - Has a 30% chance of disabling any move that hit’s the Pokemon Personality: This Froslass is a very graceful and noble pokemon. She demands high respect from everyone she meets. If anyone does anything to dampen that respect, she will fall into a fit of rage and stop at no end to get pay back. You must be calm and respectful to this pokemon at all times or else. She has very little respect for her trainer and believes she above them and the other pokemon.
The moment the Froslass was gone the black coloured Delibird jumped over to the spot it disappeared and began to dance. It was a rather odd looking dance consisting of his head bobbing up and down and his feet hopping from spot to spot. It almost looked like a rather odd native dance. Either way, he looked pretty happy now that he was safe. Question was, what had he done to make the Froslass so upset? Well, he answered that without the human even having to ask. His dance finished and the first thing he did was stick his tongue out at Devin.

Devin felt a bit awkward as the Delibird that had hidden behind him appeared to burst into dance, and finished with sticking its tongue out at him. Devin really didn't know what to make of this other than the fact that the Delibird appeared to be safe now, which was a good thing. Without saying a word to the Delibird, Devin turned around and walked off into the distance
