exploring the maze (MOD/SG/open)

Cora walked up to the beautiful serenity garden and was taken away by its beauty. It was a good idea to come here to relax and even try exploring the maze just for fun with her Pokemon.

Cora had Treecko and Mudkip out with her and Treecko was running all over the place enjoying the flowers and climping up trees and even shooting bullet seed at people's feet just for fun and ran off when they tried to chase him. Treecko just laughed and hid in the burches. Cora watched gigging and shaking her head and would say sorry to Treecko's victims and give Treecko a scolding look that just made Treecko smile sheepishly and shrug his shoulders.

Mudkip was at Cora's side shaking her head at Treecko and scolding him but Treecko just stuck his tongue out at her and went back to his pranking. Mudkip shook her head and saw some pretty blue flowers and walked over to them and started to smell the lovely scent they gave.

"Muuud kip" said Mudkip and thinking Cora would like one picked on with her mouth and ran over to Cora who was now standing at the beginning of the maze looking at it.

This looks like fun to explore.." said Cora with a smile. Just then she felt little feet poking her legs and she looked down to see Mudkip holding a blue flower offering it to her. Cora smiled picked up Mudkip took the flower from her and smelt it smiling. "Aww, that's pretty Mudkip, I love it"Cora said and put the blue flower in her hair.

It was truly a perfect day. The sun was bright but gentle, casting a soft light over the scene. The clouds were thick and white and puffy, painting their ever-changing scenery across the skin. The park itself was as serene as the name implied; most of the fellow visitors had wandered out of sight by now. Yes, it was a perfect day to relax with one's Pokemon in this glorious natural setting, the only sound being a few bird songs from the bushes and the soft murr of the win--

~Shkshskshkshkshsshhk~ << What was that?

...Hm, well, perhaps just a wild Pokemon playing within, but whatever it was seemed to have stopped for now. So yes, the only sounds were the wind and.... why had the birds gone quiet all of a sudden?

~SHKSSHKSHSKSHKSHK~

This time the strange rustling was definitely louder. ...Closer? One of the clouds moved to block the sun, casting a cold shadow over the now eerily-quiet gardens.

~SHK SHK SHK SHK~

Whatever was causing the sound was definitely within a few yards at most by now.

Cora heard the sound and immditly came on guard... She knew wild Pokemon lived here but did not really know which ones did exactly... " Whatever is making the sound sure sounds big.... Mudkip.... Get ready.... Treeko! Get over here!." Cora called as she started to enter the maze. If she had to she would call out her Charzard if a Pokemon tried to attack her.

" Mudkip!" said the little water Pokemon as she as well got on guard and started to follow Cora.
Treeko heard Cora's call and came running to her side also now just hearing the sound. Treecko got ready to fight if anything came out at them. Tree....cko tree...." The little grass type growled.

Cora looked around and was listening for any sounds of movement or to see if she could see any Pokemon. She saw nothing but had a feeling whatever was making that sound would show its self soon. And she would be ready for it. " Stay calm guys... and be ready for anything." Cora said to her Pokemon.
