So guys, we all have nicknames for friends, and such. Well, Brenden my youth leader in real life, I have a huge crush on him. I always call him The Reason, and he doesn't understand what the name means. So, can you guys guss why I call him The Reason. xD Um... Iunno? My hubby's whole family answer to our WoW names in real life, and when I met my best friend Floramei last week I called her Flora and she called me SG. x'P

xD I call my husband and daughter both a wide variety of ridiculous petnames.. Cuddles, Snuggles, Cuddlemuffin, Snugglybear, Snugglekins... x3 Pretty much most ridiculous variations on Cuddle, Snuggle, Fluff, Fuzz, or Love.. Just "Love" or "My Love" is my primary name for hubby. My daughter gets "Mess", "Snugglebutt", "Munchkin", and a few other common ones among her standard Emi/Em/Emz.

Hoobastank is pretty popular actually Ryder. Very well known alternative band.... though I'm also a complete and total music DORK. But aww, cute~. You should discretely show him the song one day. xD.

As for young girl/old guy.... dunno if 18 and 24 are really that far off. its s0p0o.... o___o, my dog just jumped on my keyboard.... anyway, by that age its not really a big deal. Its more awkward when you're still in highschool. I dated a freshmen as a junior. THAT.... didn't turn out well to be honest, but for reasons different then age.

x3 Yeah, that's what I was saying Smiff, lol. It's like, not actually that big a deal (only 6 years, give or take some months), but just enough that I can still squee over it. x33 (Since like, it's not so close you'd ever see it in schools excluding college, you know? That'd be like a Senior dating a 7th grader. Which, you know, WOULD be a big deal despite same number of years difference just because of maturity level issues, heh.) x3 But yar, SG thinks it's adorable~<3


If you like the idea of such relationships in general, want some reading material to squee over?<3 Assuming you haven't read it up to current already (xD though I found a fricking epic page the other day I only half-remember that's making me want RE-read it, lol), you should check out the manga Faster Than a Kiss. ^^ (You'll have to read online scantilations unless you can read Japanese and import stuff though, heh. In a few places the translation gets pretty bad, worst for like a chapter and a half around like 21 or 22, but it always gets better, and the quality overall is pretty good. :3) It's a student-teacher romance, though actually only 8 years difference. But it's pretty unique for one.. x33 Why, you ask? When the series starts out, they're already married; THEN they fall in love as the series plays out. xD It is made of win. Please read and squee<3

...So, over a month after most recent post, I'm posting in here 8'D

but anywho! Basically everyone who's not a freshman has a nickname here at NMT. x3 Like, my boyfriend is known as Pistachio. xD; There's also Z and...er, "Uncle Tony" I guess. I don't remember the others' nicknames.

Oh, and most people here call me Flora. xD My roommate's name is Lisa, so I figured I may as well avoid confusion~
