Nicodemus looked up at him. Not scared? No way, she was petrified. But she never let it show. That wasn't a possibility, not if she wanted to survive on these streets. Her eyes grew wide, and she was about to tell him how she really felt, but she caught her tongue. Telling other people she was scared didn't sound like the best plan. Instead, she followed his finger to the setting sun, the PokeCenter in front of it. "Huh." she said, eager to switch subjects. "Not a very big place." Letting her mind switch over to the fact that she had no idea where she was going next, she thought of all the places she could go. There was the North, but it was too cold. Not like a little breeze ever stopped me before. she scolded herself. She wanted to start thinking about her other three choices, but she just didn't feel like it. Instead, she just kept walking forward aimlessly. Why not ask him where he wants to go? she thought, thinking of the places he could go. Maybe one of his choices would be to her liking and she'd head out there. Why not? She had nothing better to do.

Ari looked at the girl. "well ill see you later i'm off to the west" Ari said carefree. "going to go see what pokemon there are i know they have some pichu down there but not sure what others". Ari then proceeded to walk away. "bye" he said in sweet tone as if he was sad to leave the girl.

Nicodemus continued to look ahead at the building, preparing to proceed into the PokeCenter and heal her Pokemon quickly. They'd need it, she had no idea where the next one was or when she was going to run into it. Her actions were soon intterupted by Ari. She froze, listening to his words carefully. The west? Why not! A journey is just what I need. Than he said something about a Pichu and instantly the only thought that ran through her head was Raichu. she practically gasped in her head. The one Pokemon she was determined to overcome. Quickly debating the situation, she felt her heart tugging at her head, begging it to let her have company. Human company. Just for a little while anyway, just so she wasn't so lonely anymore. She sighed, giving in to her feelings. "Hey Ari!" she called, walking after him. "Got room for one more in your Solo Squad?" she smiled at the tall boy.

Ari made a dead stop walking. he then turned to look at her and continued to stare for a moment. Ari thought for a moment he had never had anyone by his side accept for faith but that was rare and he hadn't seen her in so long. his brother always was mean and said it was to toughen him up and he was never close to his mom. Ari thought to himself it would be nice to know someone had my back if i needed it. Ari then tilted his head down so that his hair covered his eyes. "first things first" Ari said in a semi serious tone. he the looked up and smiled "i'm getting you a new bag to hold your stuff in".

The stood there, holding her breath. Would he let her? She prayed to god dearly that he would. Solitude was beginning to take its toll on her, she was becoming wary of each and every step she took now, no one she met could come close to her, not entirely. But there were few cases, where she could actually make friends. Ari, the young man now turned around at her, was one of those cases. Daring to blink just once, she tried to read his mind as he just stared at her. Was he mad? There was no way that could be, she hadn't done anything to her. But what if he was? She didn't want to fight him. But of course, if it came to the case of her life or his, she would. His stare remained blank and now she could hear her hearbeat, drumming hard and wild like a rabbit's hind paw upon solid earth. Struggling not to breathe hard, she returned the stare and gritted her jaws together to try and muffle the suspense, the tension she could feel. Then he tilted his head. Why? She had no clue. But it didn't matter since the next words she heard from his mouth was a "Yes." She smiled warmly and let out a silent, barely noticeable, sigh of relief. She was in. Thank God. Then it hit her. A new bag? Why? She couldn't. She and her father had made it, there was no way she could ever leave it. The last remnants of her ancestry, she held it sacred, no matter how beat up or useless it became. Besides, it was cheap, and it was made from strong material. An old work coat her father used to have before he... well, went away. It didn't matter, she wasn't about to burden a new friend with the costs of a completely brand new bag. They must cost a fortune, too much for her to afford. Then again, it was too much for her to afford anything, really. She practically lived off the land, and did oddball jobs when she couldn't. She shook her head slowly, slightly. "No thanks. I'd rather stick with this one. Nice offer though." she walked up to his side, waiting for him to start moving since she had no clue where she was going. Nicodemus really hoped he wouldn't persist, he seemed a little stubborn. The way he acted when she tried to fix up his minor wound just proved it, though it was a little stupid to leave it like that. She wasn't going to get another bag, that was for sure. She'd fix up hers, just like she did any other time. Add another pocket, put on some more strings. Minor things like that, things that would help her with it. ooc: my computer's still down. it's supposed to be getting fixed tonight though, I'm usin the schools now. Sorry guys, just wanted to let u know I didn't abandoned the site or anything.

Ari looked at her confused. "Alright what ever you say but in the future if you ever need anything let me know" Ari said Kindly. "im going to the woods of the eastern forest want to come with?". Ari hoped she would say yes so that he wasn't alone anymore.

Nicodemus smiled, "Yeah sure. I've got nothing on my To Do list." she shrugged, waiting for him to lead the way.
ooc: Shortness.
