Rather Cold (Nici/Open/Mod)

[Jay]

Nami blinked in confusion when she saw the hand. After a moment, she looked up at the face of the man holding it out. Taking up said hand and starting to stand, Nami seemed to have just enough luck to be only in half stance before the earthquake hit again. Ah damn it. Once again, the brown haired woman found herself sitting down as her legs crumpled under her. "Ugh...." she sighed irritated. Ken was hit by the Earthquake this time and seemed to flinch rather irritated. Forming a Sky Uppercut, the Combusken attacked the Snorlax again.

[MCstorms]

Hope laughed as he looked at the massive Pokemon "Allow me ma-dam". Hope picked out a poke-ball and lunched towards the snorlax upon opening it revealed a Duskinoir. "Brick break" was the command given by Hope. Duskinoir used the move as he swung hard at the huge Pokemon.

[Maid Melody]

The Snorlax was hit by the Flame Wheel and once again scratched himself as if the attack had only been a minor annoyance, standing up so that he could teach the annoying little Pokemon a lesson about annoying others. As a result, the Snorlax wasn't paying attention to the other Pokemon, the Snorlax was consequently hit by the Sky Uppercut which knocked him off his feet once again with yet another Earthquake. By this time the Snorlax was just plum exhausted and used Rest, hoping that the other Pokemon would leave him alone if he was just sleeping. Thus, the following Brick Break was unavoidable because the Snorlax was still sleeping although it did hurt immensely. The Snorlax grunted in his sleep and rolled over, away from the attacker.

[Nicodemus]

Nicki looked on, grimacing as yet another shockwave jarred her bones, making her feel like she was made of Play-Doh. The Pokemon was down, and it didn't seem like it was getting back up. No, it was way too busy sleeping. "Blaze, get back over here." she called out, her jaws clenched together. It felt like her teeth were about to crush beneath each other.

The Quilava growled, unhappy with the thought of retreating just yet. He was a little annoyed, but for the most part was really happy to get out and use his fire against something, to not limit himself completely. Guess it was too much to hope for... He sighed and turned away, heading with a growl in his throat toward Nicodemus.

The young girl crouched beside her still-learning Pokemon, "You don't know how proud I am of you." she beamed at him, smiling from ear to ear with pride.

Blaze seemed to smile back, and his flames went up. Nothing seemed to bad now. There'd always be another battle.

Looking away from her blazing partner, she called out to anyone. "It's down for the count, right?"

[Jay]

Nami frowned a bit as the Snorlax went straight back to sleep. Finding herself even more irritated than before, she took out yet another pookemon and released a Squirtle she had named Wave. "Wave, help Ken and use Ice Beam!" she called. The Squirtle nodded and then shot off the ice towards the Snorlax. Ken managed to keep away from the ice and growled before forming yet another Sky Uppercut and attacking the sleeping pokemon without mercy.

[MCstorms]

Hope called up to the girl and said "Merely just sleeping little girl". Hope then commanded duskinoir "Use Focus blast". The ghost Pokemon concentrated it's mental energy and lunched it had the snorlax. Hope was rather amused that it took so much to take down one Pokemon.

[Maid Melody]

The Snorlax groaned in his sleep when the attacks hit him and used Snore just as he was hit by Sky Uppercut. Groaning as the Focus Blast hit him, the Snorlax turned over on his side once again but continued to sleep on.

[Nicodemus]

Nicodemus glared at Hope. "I ain't just some little girl, pal." she growled at him, under her breath. She stared ahead at the Snorlax. What would be he easiest way to defeat him? She couldn't use Moon or Dream, Normal attacks wouldn't do much to a great Pokemon like that. Blaze could probably do it, but he had to use a really strong one. What was his strongest? She groaned. Eruption was, but he'd already used it. Never the less.....

The young teenager looked down at the Quilava, "You think you're up to another Eruption?" she asked.

Blaze wasn't tired, but he didn't think he had quite enough strength for yet another Eruption. But hey, this was his pride we're talking about. He wouldn't admit he couldn't. He'd just go ahead and try.

He growled a "Sure." in his Pokemon lingo and hopped forward, running as flames and thick fire seeped through the pores on his back, his element raging around him. He let all the power he had in him gather, then, as he jumped above the Snorlax, he let it all loose, to rain down on it. He just hoped he wouldn't hit anyone else. He didn't think he would, he tried to limit his move to just a radius around the Snorlax.

[Jay]

Ken was hit by the Snore, yet he didn't even seem to realize it but simply retaliated again with a Sky Uppercut. "Wave use Ice Beam again!" Nami called. Wave, however, was hit rather hard by the Snore and cried out in pain before falling back. After a few seconds, the Squirtle forced herself up and then nodded before forming an Ice Beam and launching it at the Snorlax. However, she was a bit too close and was hit by Blaze's Eruption. Crying out for a moment, she shook her head glad that it wasn't too terribly effective on her. Nami found herself growling in irritation and was already pulling out yet another fan ready to charge in and beat the Snorlax again.

[MCstorms]

Hope was still amused that they couldn't beat him ,but he did not care much. "Focus punch. Come on duskinoir you haven't knocked him out yet?". Hope was just teasing the Pokemon however he gt upset none the less. He screamed "DUSK!" then focused all his energy to his fist. The ghost Pokemon wen't zooming at the giant Pokemon he swung at it's head as hard as possible. Motivation works every time hope thought to himself.

[Maid Melody]

Although the Ice Beam and Eruption weren't very effective against the Snorlax's Thick Fat ability, the two fighting moves were VERY effective. The Snorlax was unable to dodge to to sleep and fainted, finally. Oddly enough though, the Snorlax didn't look fainted, but more like he had just sunk into a deeper sleep.

[Nicodemus]

Blaze shrank back, baring his fangs together in uncertainty. He really didn't mean to hit that Squirtle. But they were in a battle, he couldn't apologize now. So he threw in a Focus Punch before Nicodemus could say anything, using it randomly in an attempt to put some sort of damage on the Snorlax. His Eruption had drained him, but had done absolutely nothing to his opponent.

Nicki looked over at Nami, "I'm so sorry, I didn't see your Squirtle there." she apologized, sounding genuinely sorry. The Snorlax had finally fainted, and she looked down at an empty Pokeball in her belt. Did she really want it? Could she really train a Snorlax? She picked it up in let the orb sit in her hand.

If it could learn to fight, it might make a useful Pokemon to have on her team.

She shook her head calmly, placing the ball back on the inside of her coat. A Snorlax wasn't one to be part of the family. Not hers.

"Alright, who's getting the big fella?" she called out, wondering aloud.

[Jay]

At this question from Nici, Nami squeaked suddenly getting the image of a trampoline Snorlax in her mind. She hadn't played on one of those in... forever... and well... well... If she caught the Snorlax... No she could never do that to a real live pokemon could she? But... it wouldn't hurt it really...Plus... maybe she could train it to be a really huge body guard... that'd be cool... ._. hm............... "If you don't mind," she finally stated pulling out a pokeball. "I want to catch it...." she finally stated aloud looking to both people there.

[MCstorms]

Hope returned his Pokemon to his ball. He heard the question from the girl's mouth loud and clear. Thinking top himself i have enough crazy Pokemon as it is. He then looked at Nami as she asked to have it. Hope's reply was "I don't care very much who get's it"."I will say this though he is one tough cookie". Hope walked over to the gigantic Pokemon. He then patted it stomach "hm.... fluffy". this was his remark towards the bear like Pokemon.

[Maid Melody]

The Focus Punch that hit the Snorlax was enough to make the big Pokemon groan/moan in pain even in sleep although his health was dangerously low, it still appeared as if the big guy was sleeping and nothing could possibly wake him up.

[Nicodemus]

Nicodemus looked at Blaze, whistling once to get his attention. He knew the signal and trotted over, his heated paws leaving slush in his pawsteps.

She patted him softly on his head, his warm fur heating up her freezing hands. "That's my boy." she smiled warmly at him, proud of her Pokemon. He put up such a good fight. Even with everyone else helping him, he put in a great effort. He treated it as a real battle.

Nicki looked up, at the woman who held the Pokeball in her hand. "Go on. I wish ya luck, he's your ball of fun now." she nodded, still crouched beside the Quilava she helped train.

"Where are we headed anyway?" she asked, seeing as though she had gained two new traveling companions, for now. There was a village nearby, but who knew if they were going to stop there. It would be best for the Snorlax.

[Jay]

The brown haired woman nodded at both of them and then threw the pokeball towards the Snorlax. Upon seeing this, Ken face/palmed quite literally and sighed before starting over towards his trainer. This was going to be a long day, he was sure of it. After a moment more, Nami realized she had been questioned and then found herself looking from Nici to this new guy...um... what did he say his name was... ack... Nami sucked at names... Sighing she forced a light smile and rubbed the back of her head. "Eh? she answered back after a moment..... Well that certainly wasn't the most intelligent thing in the world... oh well....

[MCstorms]

Hope looked at the women and chuckled. "People call me hope".He looked at the two girls "I didn't mean to intrude just thought you guys could use a little help. "Hope then asked their names.

[Maid Melody]

The Snorlax disappeared inside the pokeball in a beam of red light before dinging without so much as a struggle.

Personality: This Snorlax is very lazy and would prefer to do nothing else but sleep and eat. He battles only when there's no other choice and no possible way he can sleep through it. He is very passive and doesn't get angry easily...if at all, although it is not wise to try and take away his food as you might lose a hand during the process. When he does battle he doesn't give up and can take a hit very well, this Snorlax loves little kids and doesn't complain if they climb all over him...as long as he can still sleep.


Out of nowhere a Poochyena followed by Zigzagoon twins came running up to the group, nearly barreling over Blaze and Nici in their rush to get away from...something. It was very evident that the three were panicked by whatever was chasing them.
<"Run! Get out of here while you still can!">the Poochyena barked, stopping to try and warn the others.

The Zigzagoon twins huddled behind the Poochyena, obviously not wanting to be caught in the crossfire when their pursuer caught up to them.

Just then, a Sneasel arrived on the scene looking very VERY angry for some reason or another and without a moment's hesitation, launched an Ice Shard towards the Poochyena and the Zigzagoon twins.

[Nicodemus]

Nicki laughed, smiling. "Uh, hi there. I'm Nicodemus. And um.." she put her hand over her neck, rubbing the base behind her head. "Thanks. I guess we kind of needed the help."

She was about to open her mouth and suggest that they visit the village she was thinking of, though she had no clue of its whereabouts. It was the best thing she could think of. But, noises stopped her. She looked down to see three Pokemon coming at them. By the look of them, they were horrified, scared out of their wits. As she crouched down to get a better look at them, another screech came through the air.

Frost and ice seared through gravity and was barreling straight toward the trio of newcomers. 'Was' being the key word. Blaze growled, seeing the Sneasel, and sent a flamethrower to intercept the ice. It did, and evaporated most of it, the remainder being harmless water.

He stalked forward, crouching before the Sneasel. "Leave 'em alone." he growled in his language.
