^{Cricket was happy to be rid of her leftovers as she retrieved the half of a sandwich from her bag and took it out of its wrapper. She nearly placed it in the sand, then thought better of it and put the wrapper down and the sandwich on top of it and moved the whole thing towards the Lotad, stepping back a pace to allow him room to eat.}

The Lotad ate the sandwich happily, seeming to relax a bit more now that it was evident the girl was nice and wasn't going to attack.

^{The dark-haired girl wasn't really sure what to do with the Lotad now, since he didn't want to fight and she didn't really know if she wanted him to join her team or not, so she waved a goodbye and turned to walk towards another area of the oasis, leaving the little Pokemon to eat in peace.}

The Lotad finished the sandwich and looked up to see the woman walking away from him. For a moment he just stared after her, wondering why she would give him food and then just leave. Curious, the Lotad followed after the woman and went up to her, bumping into her leg in a friendly gesture.
LoTAD~!"he said basically saying hi as he smiled up at the woman now that he was pretty sure she was nice and not going to attack.

^{"Huh..?" Cricket looked down to see the Lotad she had just walked away from. "Wh.. What's the matter, little guy..?" she asked. Perhaps it wanted to join her team, or maybe it wanted more food? "I don't have any more food, I'm sorry.."}

The Lotad blinked and tilted his head slightly, confused.
"Tad?"he asked in a concerned voice, wondering if she was all right before smiling again and nudging her leg gently in a sort of hug.

<sup>She knelt down to place her hand on the Lotad's.. leafheadthing.

"Do you want to come with me..?" she asked, utterly confused at the Pokemon's actions if he didn't want to come with her.</sup>

The Lotad smiled up at Cricket and nodded his whole body in way of saying yes. She seemed nice and well...he didn't want to be afraid any longer.

^{Cricket smiled. Another Pokemon that wanted to join her without a fight~ She took out a Pokeball and tapped the Lotad with it, hoping that her Pikachu wouldn't be terribly mean to the lily-pad Pokemon.}

The Lotad disappeared inside the pokeball in a beam of red light, moments later the pokeball DINGed without any sign of struggle indicating that the capture had been successful.

Personality: Kind and gentle, this Lotad doesn't like to battle at all, mostly because of fear that he'll show that he's really weak. He is very patient and doesn't get angry very easily although if anything happens to his friends he shows a brave side that is not often seen at any other time. He is easily intimidated and tends to hide behind his trainer when he gets scared or is just being shy.
