Drake, Scythe, Eevee, and Dragonite had finally wandered their way through the Glacial Village, and up to the Yukishiro castle. This was it, where Drake had finally planned to learn his past. He still didn't know who he was, where he had came from, and what life was like before that fateful day where three pokemon came and rescued him. All he does know is that soon he will have all his answers, and maybe that will be what can give him some closure, but first he had to find one, a noble, a noble that knew him and his story...

Until the last breath leaves my body, [So I gasp and hold my breath These needs have changed so deep.]
"Bowm?" Red eyes widened as the dragon pokemon came to a stop high above the boy in the sky. Tilting his head, Kurosu, the Shadow Dragonite, snorted before quickly doubling back, speeding back toward the castle and his master. He made a point of flying a couple guard rounds around Yukishiro before allowing Akira to sleep, not wanting the boy to be hurt. Never before had he ran into a human on his rounds, well, not one that he hadn't seen before at least.
Landing on the balcony to Akira's bedroom window, Kuro slid into the room, looking around for his master. Thankfully, the boy had yet to change for sleep and could go out to meet the boy, taking up the challenge if whoever he was wanted to try and kill the Noble.
Turning around at the sound of wings, Akira smiled at Kurosu before noticing the fierce look on the dragons face. Something was up. Running a hand through his white locks, he bent down to allow Timcampy, his young Pichu, to climb up to his favorite spot behind his head. Standing up, he straightened out his black robes as he moved over to the Dragonite as it bent down for the Noble to mount. "Kurosu... I'm tired, let's make this quick, eh?" He spoke calmly, stifling a yawn as the Dragonite made his way from the room and took off into the air.
It didn't take long for the dragon to find the boy again, focusing on him with a growl. This action alone let Akira know that the dragon didn't like this male, although he was sure neither of them knew absolutely nothing of him. Then again... Kurosu didn't like much of anyone, so, what's different about this? With a soft thump, Kurosu landed, lowering onto all fours once again to allow his young master off. Peeking over the top of Akira's head, Tim narrowed his eyes slightly as his master took a step before the Dragonite, the dragon-type standing up as he did so. "Excuse me..." The noble spoke, clearing his throat.
I will not stop walking. [To face you all and say I've been awake forever.]

Drake peered at the army that stood before him. After wandering so long, for so many days tirelessly fighting hunger, anguish, and pain, there he had it. A man, a noble, someone of royal blood who had destoryed his life that day. So many emotions flooded over Drake that he started to shake. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth as he saw the shadow Dragonite. Then he looked at his own, knowing the shadow dragonite was far more powerful and that a battle would be a bad choice. Drake's dragonite had also noticed this look and responded to Drake with a comment of his own... "Drake, I know he's strong, but this is important for both of us. I was tortured and abandoned by his kind. The rage I feel in my heart is undescribeable. I have this desire to tear them to shreads. To multilate their bodies until they become nothing but bloody ashes. Please Drake, allow me to fight."
Eevee quickly protested to this idea. Of all the pokemon in the party eevee was probably the most level-headed. Eevee's master Jaime was also killed by the nobles, but worried more for the sake of Drake, who had taken care of Eevee for 3 years now. Eevee knew a battle would not only be dangerous, but possible deadly. Scythe was also scared, but stood tall by his master ready for battle. It appeared a split decision 2-3, but Drake had other plans.
"You there, noble. What is the name you go by? Where do you rank in this court? I am assuming since you came from the castle you are the noble of this land, which makes you the man I have been searching for. I have many questions to ask you, and I believe you will have many answers to give to me. Many years ago I was rescued from confinement by nobles, and I need to know why. Why was I confined? Where did I come from? Who am I and why don't I have a family that is looking for me?
The questions rushed from Drake before he could even think as to why he was asking this stranger. Why didn't Drake just give into the darkness he always felt and attack the man? Was it because this man appeared to have strength far ahead of his? Or was it because he was worried about the Darkness that was building up in Dragonite. Drake clearly knew about what happens to pokemon when their rage gets the best of them, he had a mirrored example in front of him. Drake is quite dark and cynical himself, but even he would never wish for his pokemon to be consumed by darkness, nothing was worth Dragonite's well-being.
Drake continued to sputter out questions until he looked up to notice that Akira appeared to have something that he wanted to say...

Until the last breath leaves my body, [So I gasp and hold my breath These needs have changed so deep.]
Seeing all focus shifted on him, Kurosu stood tall, eyes narrowed. He still didn't trust this man, nor his pokemon, and he would be ready to fight in an instant to protect Akira. That was why, and would always be the reason why he was with the boy, and had been with the boy since birth. Despite the fact that the Noble saw him as a friend, his own shadowed heart didn't allow him to return such a strong, light emotion - he saw himself as no more than a body guard. Despite the fact that he did indeed love the boy, the emotion was not recognized. With a growl, Kurosu took a step closer to Akira, eyes never leaving the other Dragonite.
It was then that there were more questions blurted out than Akira could answer. Raising his hands before him, he waved them slightly and took a step back, taken aback by this onslaught of words. "Woah, slow down there." He continued to speak calmly as before, despite the obvious distaste for him that the man and his pokemon held. Resting the gaze of his silver eyes on Drake, Akira stood tall, thinking about his words. He knew that this situation could get dangerous quick if he didn't choose his words wisely. "I am indeed the noble of this Castle, high Noble of the North, the ruler of these lands, you could say." He began before taking a deep breath to slow his speeding heart, "I am Akira Naozumi, may I ask the favor returned?" He finished.
Tim snorted lightly at this before shifting on Akira's shoulders. A name was a powerful thing to be tossed out so soon, but it wasn't like it really mattered. There were few people in this land who didn't know who his young master was - he actually found himself surprised that Drake didn't recognize his own human. No matter, things were getting interesting, and if a battle was to break out, Tim would be right in there, the hopes seemed high tonight.
With a soft sigh, finally having chosen his next words, Akira tilted his head back to look up at Kurosu, "Now, I'm sorry, but I can't answer any of your other questions until I know a little... more... about you. I don't even know who you are," He paused, taking a moment to look the boy up and down before tilting his own head to the right, allowing his bangs to fall from his forehead, revealing the pentacle tattoo that his father had given him long ago. Although this wasn't his intention, he had no time to feel sudden embarrassment or resentment about it, and instead, remained as calm as he could, "Where do you come from, boy?"
I will not stop walking. [To face you all and say I've been awake forever.]

Drake looked upon Akira with a distain like none other. He thought to himself, "Could this man really know nothing of who I am, or was he just trying to keep it covered up?", Drake gave no time to let this question simmer before he told the man all he knew, it wasn't play time anymore, this man had answers and Drake needed them.
"I am Drake Alexander, I believe I am from the era region, but I am not sure. I lost any and all memories of the age 18 and prior while being captured by you nobles. My first memory comes of the day when I was rescued from confinement by these three pokemon here, Scythe, Dragonite, and Eevee. I do not know why they rescued me, but it appears as if we had some sort of attachment to each other in my previous life that i do not remember. I have traveled all across the northern regions since my escape in search of a noble who could tell me why I was captured and what had happened to my memories. I also need to know how to recover those memories. I am a lost soul noble, a man without a purpose or reason, but just can extreme amount of hatred, and I need to know why."
Drake peered down the man with his hazel eyes, everyone once and awhile brushing his hair away from his face. The wind was picking up now, and Drake could feel chills run down his spine. This was a scary situation. Either this man had something to hide, and was going to fight before he told it, or he truly knew nothing. Drake didn't see any possibility that he would get information peacefully, but he was going to give Akira a chance. Dragonite on the other hand was getting quite antsy. It was most likely the rage he had felt before mixed with a sense of pride to stand up to another Dragonite like himself, but he would not attack without command from his master. Even in his rage and hate, Dragonite found loyalty and trust to be one of his closest emotions to his heart.
Eevee looked up now at Drake with sullen eyes and a heavy heart. Eevee knew some of the past, at least the things him and Jaime had been involved with, but Eevee still couldn't bring up those days to Drake. He had to hear it from someone who was there, someone that understood the events through the mass chaos, and Eevee was hoping that it would be the man before them, even if it cost him his life....

Until the last breath leaves my body, [I was never the kind To be taking my time. And today's another day That I've gone and thrown away, And I don't care where it lands.]
Despite the look that the other was giving him, Akira kept a cool composure. Now was not the time to break down and try to explain himself, not that he would have anything to explain but... Bringing his head to sit upright, he ran a hand through his hair once again to straighten his bangs, covering up the red mark on his forehead. With the odd feeling finally retracting, Akira inclined his head a little as the boy began to talk again. Damn... this boy has issues... wait... Drake?
The name sounded extremely familiar. Not the first name alone, no... lord knows how many people were named Drake anymore... but... that whole name. Could it be... "Wait a tic... you say you were kidnapped by nobles? And your last name is... Alexander..." He spoke, tilting his head down slightly, eyes narrowing in thought.
"Pi pi pi..." Tim lowered onto all fours on the Nobles shoulder and peered under his arm to try and see his masters face, wondering just what was going on. It had been awhile since he had seen the boy act like this... The last time was when Akira was informed that he was to take his fathers throne. It worried the young electric mouse that the boy may freak out or break down again. But wait... why would he now? What exactly was it that had happened that would make him do so? No... This had to be different.
Suddenly, there was a gentle, gloved hand placed on the Pichu's head as Akira laughed softly. Yes, he remembered now. How strange it was, a blast from the past, or maybe a cruel twist of fate. Either way... "I think I can help you. But here isn't a place to talk." He stopped, turning to look at his home before turning his attention back to Drake, "We can continue this in my home, where its warm with something to drink if you'd like. But its dangerous out here..."
I will not stop walking. [I'm on the front line, Don't worry I'll be fine. I say goodbye to my weakness, So long to the regret. And now I see the world through Diamond eyes.]

Drake's eyes widened in shock. Here he was standing before the foe, and now he's being invited inside to discuss matters more? What kind of an enemy is this?
"You want me to come inside yet you have a killer Dragonite standing there ready to rip me to pieces." Drake was quite skeptical, but Scyther looked at Drake as if Drake should listen.
"Drake, listen to the boy, go inside, this is what you wanted."
"Are you sure Scyther?"
"Scy Scy" Drake couldn't hold back his curiosity anymore. Scyther was now siding with the enemy, and Eevee nor Dragonite seemed to have any objections. And what was this about there being danger outside, why couldn't we talk out in the open? The only dangerous thing was the two Dragonites that were so angry you could see smoke billowing from their faces. Things appeared to be far more complex than Drake had imagined.
"What have I gotten myself into?" Drake questioned under his breath.
With on hand on his hip and the other combing through his hair, Drake stood and weighed out the negatives and positives of the situation. On the one hand if he went inside it could be a deadly trap that would be the end of the road, but on the other if the boy was really an ally then he would have vital information that Drake needed. Drake ruled the positive outcome over the negative because if Drake wasn't to find answers here then he had no more leads, this would be the end of the road, and Drake didn't want to lead a life of cynicism and dispair, so he stood tall and replied with the following statement...
"Alright Akira, I will follow you inside, but first, you must call all your pokemon back, and I will do the same. If we are to talk, then WE will talk...alone"

At his first statement, Akira couldn't help but to 'keh'. The boy was right, Kurosu would tear into them at the first sign of hostility. But there was none, from the boy and his other pokemon at least. The only one who really had Kurosu's attention was the other Dragonite. "As do you. Kuro is merely out for my own safety." And I have good reason for it... He finished with his thoughts as he laid a hand on the Shadow Dragonite.
As the hand was laid on him, Kurosu looked down with a snort and closed his eyes. Now was not the time to lose it in battle, as much as he would love to fight, it could only end up endangering Akira. When Drake spoke again, Kuro looked up, focusing on the human. His terms were for him to retreat away into his pokeball. He wasn't entirely thrilled with the idea, but if it would be what Akira must do to get the boy to trust him, then so be it.
"Very well. But, would you rather fly to the castle first? Or walk after?" He asked, weighting the options. Flying would be quicker, but walking would seem to set this boy at ease quicker. Which would the boy choose though?

Drake looked at the relationship that Akira had with the Shadow Dragonite. This was a unique situation. It appeared as if the Dragonite actually obeyed the commands of Akira. Who was this boy, and how does he possess so much skill at his age? Most trainers could never master a feat like that in a lifetime. Drake brushed his hands through his hair again as if he was thinking which to decide. If it came to an air battle, Drake felt quite confident with Dragonite after their run in with the pidgey and Pidgeotto. He knew Dragonite was far more agile than any pokemon he had ever seen, but the same could potentially be said about Akira's pokemon.
"Alright, We will fly. You lead the way, but the rest of the pokemon return to their pokeballs."
Immediately Drake called back Eevee and Scyther, tucking them away in his bag next to the other pokeballs. Drake looked up at Dragonite and said...
"You understand right boy?"
"Yes Drake, I'll keep a safe distance away, trust me, I won't let anything happen to you, I owe you my life."
Those words eased Drake's worries as he climbed up onto the back of Dragonite. It was reassuring that he could communicate with his pokemon telepathically. He didn't know what Akira would think if he knew, but then maybe Akira could as well, maybe thats how he was able to control a Shadow pokemon. Only time would tell.
"Alright Akira, lead the way"...

At the request of the other, Timcampy's ears laid back as he looked at Akira. Returning the look, Akira laid a hand on the electric mouse's head, rubbing it gently. He knew the idea of being in his pokeball greatly disturbed the young pokemon, and it ate slightly at Akira as well. In the years that he had Tim, he had only been in his ball when he was either knocked out or it was too dangerous for him to be out. "Chu~" He whispered with a nod.
Pulling out the ball, Akira looked at it for awhile, before looking at Tim once again. Would Drake understand if he kept Tim out? He didn't want it to seem like he would use the tiny pokemon to gang up on him or anything, not that he wanted to start a fight but... With a sigh, Akira made up his mind, defeated, "Only until we get back home, Tim... I'm sorry..." He finished as a whisper as he took Timcampy into his ball, tucking it away.
Turning toward Kurosu as the Dragonite lowered down onto all fours for his master to mount again, Akira gently climbed onto his back, shifting to a more comfortable position as the dragon stood up. "Very well, just keep up." And with that and a smirk from Kurosu, the Shadow Dragonite darted into the air, pausing high up before heading toward the castle.

As Akira's Dragonite lifted off, neither Drake nor Dragonite could nudge the idea away that Dragonite was potentially faster. This was no time for a race, but Drake could see that Dragonite wanted to.
"No boy, we have nothing to prove, we both know you are. There isn't a faster pokemon around than you, just follow behind and we will be there soon"
Dragonite obeyed and they followed Akira...
During the flight the wind rushed past Drakes face, he almost felt as if he was flying by himself. The cold arctic wind blowing past him, it was nothing he had ever experienced. He had flown on Dragonite many times, but not in temperatures like this, and not with feelings stirring up inside him like this. His nerves we working overtime. He was scared, and he knew Akira knew it, but he was also slightly excited. This was what he had been waiting for, he was ready...
"Uh, Drake, hello?" Retorted Dragonite
"Oh sorry, what Dragonite?" Said Drake in a confused mindset.
"We're here"...

Kurosu's first instinct was to go to the balcony that led to Akira's room, but a second thought told him otherwise. Akira most likely dint want this man going through his room. Not that he would steal anything, but it was more or less Akira's private sanctuary... No, instead, he led them over the sides of the castle to a large courtyard. Bringing his wings in close as Akira leaned in closer to the dragon, Kuro dived sharply. Opening his wings a little ways from the ground, he glided along the ground before bringing his legs under him for a landing.
Dismounting fairly quickly Akira ran a hand down Kurosu's side before grabbing his ball, "I'll be fine..." he whispered to the pokemon before bringing him back into his ball. As he tucked Kurosu's ball away, he pulled out another, releasing Tim once again. Seeming all too happy to be out of his ball, Timcampy ran in a circle before climbing the noble, taking his normal spot on his shoulder.
Without turning to see if the others had Landed, Akira moved along the pathway toward a covered hall, walking through the snowy arches toward a door. Placing his hand on it, he opened it and walked through, leaving the door open for Drake, whom he assumed would close the door. If not, someone else would. Walking into the large room, Akira felt relieved to be in a warmer setting.
The room was large, decorated elegantly with plush red and gold chairs that laid upon a dark maroon carpet. A single table sat in between two of the plush chairs that sat before a large fireplace. Large windows lined the far wall that gave a beautiful view of the lake below the mountain the castle resided on and the town beyond that. Unbuttoning his Jacket, Akira slid it off and rested it over one of the chairs before pulling his gloves up, making sure they were secure on his hands. Only then did he turn to see if Drake had managed to keep up.

As Drake saw Akira take a turn and land in the courtyard Drake pointed for Dragonite to do the same. Dragonite followed the same swift fluid motions of landing, tucking in his wings till just above the ground and then opening them to glide over the landscape. Drake quickly hopped off and gave Dragonite a few last words...
"Okay boy, I'm going in. I'll keep you in my pocket instead of my bag, if anything happens you'll be the first I call on, so be ready."
Dragonite nodded with approval, sort of half smirking, like he was excited that he would be the number one in the lineup.
Drake quickly caught up to the noble, but left the door open incase he needed a quick escape. As he walked through the first hall all he could imagine was that this was something out of a dream. Everything seemed to be gigantic in this place, everything grandiose and lavish. Red and gold lined the whole placed, the chairs and walls. Large windows that were big enough to jump out of. Drake snickered to himself...
"maybe that would be an idea for later" he mumbled under his breath.
As Drake saw Akira beginning to make himself at home, Drake stood by the golden red chair awaiting further instructions from the host...
