-insert the loudest scream every- So guys, today I was looking back at all sites old dead sites, and one that I really missed was Abandon. I was thinking of all the good times, getting sad and all. My memories were mostly of the threads and crap, and I was thinking of our old member Ryder, I just got to say this SHE WAS AWESOME! I mean she was the best 1,000 words or more per post. Just so you know it was a wolf rping site, and she had this really cool red colored wolf that was insane. Well, like I said I was thinking of her, and was like damn I miss her so much. Then I started to think about how awesome it would be if I tracked her down, and talked to her. WELL GUESS WHAT! I FOUND HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -explodes from the sheer joy- She's on a site called Anikira Reloaded, and it just so happens I sighed up the the name Ryder, and it denied by name, and so I looked at the current member named Ryder, AND ITS HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I'm like so happy right now, and so hyper -runs around like a mad person-

Not even CLOSE to not believing it. x3 Long ago, back in 2004, I had a board called Inari's Shrine. It was small and fail, but I made a few friends there who'd last a lifetime. One was Ethereal, who at that time was caused Azuleia. More importantly, though, there was my very first member who came out of nowhere: Yukiko Cardevoire. I hadn't advertised anywhere, had brought no friends in on it so far, but somehow she managed to find it very shortly after creation and joined, and I was so ecstatic and surprised that I instantly spazzed and started trying to become friends with her. The board didn't last too long before I got distracted, lost interest, and let it die. But I never forgot the friends I met there, especially Yukiko. Ether happened to be on the board I migrated to even before I was, and others I kept in touch with off and on through other means. But Yukiko never went anywhere else with me.... UNTIL~ Over two long years later, I was running a fairly large and rather off-and-on successful board called Element Destiny. There were more awesome people there than I can count, and I loved them all so much. The regular members were like a family, and nothing was more exciting than when we got a newbie who was awesome and active enough to become part of that family. One of these was called Floramei. She'd been a member for some weeks- maybe even close to two months, I can't recall- and I already thought she was epicsauce. We'd talked a fair bit over PM and on the boards, and I thought she was going to be/was already becoming a great friend. ^^ Then one day, she PM'd me with a very lengthy message of undying suspense. It began going on about how she had always found it so strange that though the admin's username was Heart of Thorns, everyone still called her SG (in fact, she insisted on it). It was a simple enough nickname, though, two letters and all, so she'd dismissed it for a while. But as she saw more and more the way this admin talked and acted, it just seemed so familiar. (Yes, she was writing about me in third person like this. x3) And then she saw some sprites she definitely felt she recognized, and later some more she KNEW she did, along with names such as "Brandon" and "PokeVista" that came up in convos, and she DEFINITELY could remember now hearing about those in the past. xD She dragged this out extremely well even after this, but finally it ended with something on the lines of "I suppose what I'm trying to say is: Hello SG. I am Yukiko Cardevoire, and it's nice to see you again!" (x'P Followed by a quick apology note if she was wrong and I was just confused at what the hell she was talking about, of course.) I SCREAMED OUT LOUD AND RAN AROUND THE HOUSE. LITERALLY. xD Well maybe not ran, but I had to get up and jumpspazz to let off a bit of energy real quick at least. TWO FULL YEARS, and the girl who never joined large RP sites had somehow just "felt attracted to" mine and realized it was me and EEEEP<3 Better, I had totally been thinking more and more in the past few months before how much I missed my dear Yukiko, and kept considering trying to track her down. Which was epic fail on my part, btw. Had I just gone back to Inari's Shrine itself and looked, she was STILL there. Yes, TWO YEARS after death, she stayed, ALONE, guarding the poor site's CORPSE from spammers just out of pure adoration of and dedication to the memories it represented. :'3 BEST. MOD. EVER.And of course, NOW, Floramei is here on VC, too. She is my best friend in the universe next to only my husband (x'3 and it's still a close race sometimes), and one of only two online friends I ever had who I've now met in real life. I adore her, to a point I'm hoping sometime in spring or summer when she has a bit of time off from school, if my hubby and I have our own place by then, she can spend a week or so just staying at my house and so-on. <3 LOVE SO MUCH<3 *GLOMPS HER FLORA* (xD If you can't tell, around THREE fucking years later now and I'm STILL as spastic about our fated encounters as back then. <3) ---- x3 Not surprised doesn't mean not happy for you, though, of course~ It's ALWAYS epic to track down long-lost friends, on Facebook or through various forums or whatever. Congrats~!
